The art campaign seems to have single-phrase titles, the finished Condor painting is Night Freight

The Day Begins; Progress; Service To Industry

Renowned British railway artist Terence Cuneo immortalises a 'Metrovick Co-Bo' in an official British Railways commissioned painting.

The ''Condor'' was an overnight freight from London to Glasgow and BR entrusted the then-new Class 28 diesels to haul the train in pairs. As it transpired, the 'vicks were turfed off it after less than two years of service. The painting heralded a new era in 1960, it now appears as a jarring monument to a short-lived operation featuring diesels that BR have tried to forget ever existed.
