Why does Ren have 4 ears? Are they all real or is one set fake?

Hehe I’ve gotten this question a lot actually! They’re all real— I like to think hybridization isn’t always a clean balance of traits, so Ren just unfortunately ended up with two sets of ears— his Dog ears being much more receptive to sound, naturally— and sometimes when the extra intake of sound is too overwhelming, I imagine he wears earplugs in his human ears to help adjust :> it’s a bit weird, but idk! i like to make designs funky and nonconventional! I liked the idea that Ren had hearing struggles due to wonky hybridization and just kept the concept :>

we illumi fans have it so hard T-T i feel like the general consensus currently is that only chrollo, illumi, and hisoka are the only really fuckable men in hxh, and of that, hisoka too much of a freak to really get into and chrollo isn't enough of a freak to cater to my hyper-specific tastes. illumi is my platonic ideal,,, my middle-ground perfection,,, i may not write for him very often, but i promise i'm good for one annual fic just so you all remember exactly what kind of freak he is and how much that means to me.

PLEASE i wanna hear your david’s crush on marc thoughts. iirc marc was kinda cautious about keeping his connections with david & the others he trains with under wraps bc he doesn’t want them to come in with pressure already because of him, so i do notttt think he wants to acknowledge the parallels at ALL. but also. is it weird for him to realize he is now the hot older idol rider part of the equation?

ITS SO WEIRD FOR HIM ARE YOU KIDDINGGG. fr he LIKES david (the ‘he looks at you with those eyes’ quote. please.) but i think if david’s ass came at him in MUCH the same manner marc was coming at vale in 2013, marc is in fact. feeling kinda crazy. not very comfy with it. and david is a SWEETIE and also very bullheaded and optimistic in the same way marc was… so i think marc is maybe trying to lowkey shut it down because every time he’s in the same room with david and things start moving towards something the specter of valentino rossi stands in the corner like an evil little observational ghost (as he does with MANY things in marc’s life) and marc starts sweating. stern “well yeah no of course we cannot do this” capricorn moon ass practical talks. but DAVID. keeps trying anyway. #neversaydie and it goes on like this for literally i think several years
