It's impossible not to laugh at Simon as he lugs the overfilled picnic basket across the park, his hulking form and grumpy demenour so at odds with you and your floral sundress, the pink gingham picnic blanket you carry.

The park bustles pleasantly with those stepping out to celebrate the first real days of the English summertime; groups of mothers with their children and couples with the same idea as you, bottles of fizz poured into paper cups and packs of buscuits shared between them. You manage to find a spot with sunlight dappled perfectly by the leaves of an old oak, setting down your picnic blanket, followed by Simon setting down the wicker basket you'd insisted on bringing despite the inconvenience of it. You're perfectly content as you lay in your little quiet place, listening absently to birdsong and laughter, breathing in the fresh air, cut grass and daisies wafting up and making you sigh with bliss.

Unlike you, Simon doesn't have the capability to relax. He doesn't have an off switch. He's very much aware of the lows to which men like him will stoop - seen them firsthand with his family. It's impossible to shake that residual stress, that fear of being out in the open, (relatively) unarmed, with the person he loves more than life itself. "You're all," You snap Simon from his reverie as you attempt to mimic his edginess, bunching your shoulders to your ears and straightening your spine. "Sorry." He mutters apologetically, perpetually worried about runing your sunny days with the inevitable dark cloud that is his paranioa. "Don't apologise." You hum, shifting so your knees press into the blanketed ground, hands coming around his shoulders, ear resting against the centre of his back where you listen to the steady thumping of his heart. The way he settles into your arms doesn't go unnoticed, lets you guide him gently back intil you're both laying beside one another, his head settled on your stomach, letting your fingers card softly through his hair. He allows himself to relax until his breathing matches the soft flutter of your inhales, looping his fingers through yours as he remembers how to shed his armour - to push Ghost down into the far deep crevaces of his brain, refusing his request to make an appearance on such a lovely day. Ghost doesn't get to feel the sun on his skin and the touch of a beautiful woman. That's for Simon. You're for Simon.

Once you're sure he's suitably relaxed, you shimmy from Simon's grip, not missing the frustrated grunt he gives from the loss of his favourite pillow. You soon halt his grumbling when you unwrap some scones from a cloth napkin, procuring little tubs of jam and cream from your basket too.

You spend the afternoon pink cheeked and happy, sipping at little glass bottles of lemonade and snacking on punnets of fruit or little baked treats you'd whipped up the evening before, revelling in domestic bliss and wondering if perhaps one day you'd be doing this not only with you and Simon, maybe a sweet rescue dog too, and a baby on your hip. You have been feeling a little nauseous lately.

Thinking about Quinlan and Obi-Wan again. Those guys. Those bickering, deeply tender guys who are so weird about each other. Thank you to Deb Chow for Obi-Wan saying "Quinlan was here?" like that so I could then tumble down into the hole of collecting every single solitary piece of canon or legends material involving them and then turn to writing a lot of fic. That was the only way I could respond to Obi-Wan's eyes lightning up as he traced over the "only when the eyes are closed can you truly see" inscription. Like, how was I supposed to be normal about that? Anyways. THOSE GUYS.

Whats your favorite headcanons you have for Chow?

Honestly, your question took me a bit off guard, as I had to think for a sec about what interesting headcanons I have about Chow x)

1) I think Chow, as a child, liked to disassemble various devices and toys (idk…like radio-controlled cars), and he soon realized that he should remember how the details inside connect to each other, otherwise…it won't work xD. So, even as a grown-up, he's still in the habit of tinkering, maybe he tries to build a PC

2) He doesn't have a sweet tooth. He may have some doughnuts with Finn and Ratso, but he likes sweets the least of the Enforcers.

3) I often encountered hcs that he was raised in the USA, but I like to think he grew up in China and moved to America to turn over a new leaf

4) Chow's introverted and prefers staying at home. He hits clubs and bars, but only when he's with Finn and Ratso. I can't imagine him going out on his own. Also he has fewer friends and acquaintances than the rest of the Enforcers, but that doesn't really bother him

5) He was bullied when he was younger, so he's prone to concealing his true feelings. He acts a bit aloof and dresses cool. I think in his heart of hearts he'd like to dress more geeky, though he loves his current style.

6) As a teenager he started to rebel, it started as playing truant from school and smoking behind it (even though he's not big on smoking and it makes him cough if he smokes too much) and ended with him going abroad

7) His mom used to have him style his hair so it was sleek (he looked like Dale Cooper x)). He hated it and now his hair's always spiky

oh man do i have a perfect answer to this. it’s peace lily by meteormind

it ruined me both positively and NEGATIVELY. the good part is it’s a fucking masterpiece. i cried the whole time i read it, both from utter heartbreak and joy. never in my life have i come across an mcd fic that radiated a strong sense of hope like this one. it was so! good!

now to the worst part: it’s a fucking dk///bk fic. the author, altho was a modern time shakespeare, didn’t know how to correctly tag their own fic (like a fucking dumbass) and didn’t put any signs up to warn me that it was a different dynamic. not until the very last part of the story did i realize there was something very, very wrong. i can’t look at that fic the same.

so to anyone that is participating in fandoms, pls for the love of god tag ur content correctly. bkdk is when katsuki is the top and izuku is the bottom. dk///bk is the opposite of that. GET! IT! RIGHT! and if u’re abt to say “well it doesn’t matter who tops who bots as long as they love each other” as an excuse, i will draw ur mom pegging ur dad with a horse dildo strap n u can’t do anything to stop that.

We all know about Bingpup but what animal do you think Binghe would shapeshift into if he had a choice? (Other than, of course, whatever SQQ had called cute most recently)

ohhh this is such a good question... I do think he would choose some kind of dog! I've been thinking about daemon aus lately so this decision is definitely influenced by that lol but I think he would choose some kind of dog because 1) he can be SQQ's protective guard dog and fucking Bite People, and 2) being a dog means more head pats!! and getting to be Shizun's lapdog!!! what's not to like

I know the common Bingpup design is something small and fluffy like a pomeranian, but I feel like he'd choose a big dog for intimidation/protection reasons, but that does not stop him from being a lapdog. he's one of those huge dogs that insists on climbing on his person's lap and absolutely crushing him

Do you really not see how you are twisting Jk’s words just to deny that Tae and wooga left him behind? He said it himself that they went snowboarding and it was so much fun that he thought they were going to stay and do it again the next morning but the others said they were leaving after snowboarding on that day, so they left and he stayed behind. There might be some nuances in the translation that we miss or some context but the general idea is that even though he wanted to stay and snowboard the next day, the others didn’t but he did.

The way he explained it showed that he didn’t hold any ill feelings towards them for leaving without him but I guess that might put a question mark on things for those who believe they are dating because it is very unlikely that a couple would go to a ski resort for a short vacation and one of them gets left behind because the other one wanted to go back home with friends. Jk also said he thought all of them would stay back to snowboard the next morning which means that Tae couldn’t have left because of schedules because if he had schedules then Jungkook would have known that he had to leave because of schedules and wouldn’t have thought that he would stay back. It also shows that they probably hadn’t decided or had a set schedule for how long they were going to stay there because if they did, they others probably wouldn’t have abruptly left. So maybe Tae and his friends had their fill of the activities and fun, got tired and wanted to go home while Jk still wanted more so it is normal that friends would leave which is why Jk didn’t seem offended that he was left there alone but it is very different if it is your partner leaving you alone at a ski resort to go back home with friends and seeing as Jk still listened to the song about 30 more times after they all left him there and still thinks of the song fondly, it is very unlikely that him liking the song has much to do with the company he was in when he first heard the song.
