Hello Jay! I wondering, How do you guys deal with those Illager Hunter guys always showing up to your village trying to kill your kind and they seem to be pretty dumb if Valkyrie is able to kick their butts so easily.

"You know he's in love with you," Rory says, apropos of nothing. It probably says something that Asher doesn't need to ask who they're talking about.

"Bullshit," he says automatically. He takes a huge bite of kosher hotdog. Big enough to choke on, which is the only size that will shut him up.

"No, it's true," Mason says, popping up at Rory's elbow like a gnome. A six foot tall gnome. Asher sighs deeply through his nose. He doesn't bother to finish chewing and swallow before he talks; just enough to be able to speak. Serves them right to have to see the amalgam of flesh he's masticating for cornering him at a fucking cookout like this.

"I know," he admits. "I know, he said. 'At first sight.'" He rolls his eyes, but doesn't miss the comically gobsmacked looks on both of their faces.

"He told you?!" they demand in perfect stereo. Asher blinks at them. He takes another bite, this one smaller, just eating now rather than keeping his big mouth busy. He chews thoughtfully. He'd thought Gwaine was- not exactly joking maybe, but not serious either. He'd said it so flippantly, flirtatiously. But Ash isn't arrogant enough - not quite - to think he knows Gwaine better than Rory and Mason (yet) so if they're that stricken...

Hm. Asher carefully rearranges some things in his mind.

Sensory tools in public

I have a question for people w sensory issues

What’s some of the weirdest/funniest/most annoying things people have thought your tools to combat sensory issues were? Wether it was genuine or people were trying to bother you, what some odd shit people come up with? One time some kids in my class called my earplugs AirPods and asked me why I’m allowed to have them in, and other people ask my friend if she has hearing aids (btw I’m not sure if the people asking her were genuine)
