起始於生命的認同匱乏，我在那些微小不起眼的事物上，更感受到生命的掙扎與不值。「逝者如斯系列」我開始描繪那些因人類而中斷生命的動物們。 我們呼嘯而過，牠們可能根本來不及慘叫，又或者牠們的慘叫我們來不及聽到。轟隆驟起，一聲巨響，完整地生，輕易地死。 我也在一個常常得不到認可的環境中成長，透過描摹死亡，我彷彿和牠們一同經歷，再一同記得。經歷忽視、記得犧牲，皺縮的世界重新攤開，宇宙進來。 作品的木框部分，是我自己手工製作，使用廢棄的舊料，依著材料的大小、動物的大小，做成不同尺寸的框。如同死亡對活著來說是一種「廢棄」，我將這些廢料重新打磨、黏接、上漆，讓它重新「有用」，木框就像每一條生命獨一無二，也與牠們互相依偎、融合。我們不阻止死亡，以毀敗紀錄毀敗，不求「負負得正」，但求不再寂寞。 這批作品旁邊會附上我好友為牠們拍下的最後的照片，是對消逝的最後一搏。我們逆著時光行走，淚還沒流乾，就還能望向前方。友人說我的作品常常有一種「還沒畫完」的感覺，我���藉此感覺更適合呈現出這些「還沒活完」的生命，把「突如其來的剝奪」保留下來，以延續「斷裂」的方式延續生命。
