A Cozy Morning

Hey everyone! It’s Tish here, and today I want to share a recent art project that has been especially meaningful to me. As a full-time digital artist, I’m always looking for new ways to challenge myself and explore different techniques. This time, I decided to experiment with a mix of digital art and watercolor effects, which turned out to be both exciting and rewarding.

The idea for this piece started with my love for fantasy themes. I’ve always been drawn to creating characters that feel like they belong in a storybook, and this time, I focused on a witch. There’s something timeless about witches in art—they can be wise, mischievous, powerful, or mysterious, and I wanted my character to capture a bit of all those elements. With her pointed hat and expressive eyes, she quickly became one of my favorite projects to work on.

As I was sketching, my partner, Lee, suggested adding a watercolor effect to the final piece. I was immediately intrigued by the idea. Watercolor has such a delicate, dreamy quality, and I was curious to see how it would blend with my usual digital style. It took some experimenting to get the textures just right, but once I did, I was amazed at how much depth it added to the artwork. The combination of crisp digital lines and soft watercolor textures gave the piece a unique feel that I really loved.

One fun element I included was a steaming cup of coffee in the witch’s hands. It felt like the perfect addition—not just because I love coffee, but because it added a cozy, personal touch to the piece. Coffee has always been a big part of my routine, fueling many long art sessions. But ironically, I had to give it up recently because I was drinking way too much of it. That change inspired me to capture the moment in art, almost as a way to say goodbye to my daily caffeine habit.

Art has always been a way for me to express my thoughts and experiences, and this piece was no different. It became more than just a witch holding a coffee cup—it turned into a representation of change and balance. Sometimes, we have to let go of something we enjoy to make room for something new, and that’s exactly what this piece reminds me of.

Working on this project also reinforced how much I enjoy experimenting with different styles and techniques. It’s easy to stick with what’s familiar, but pushing myself to try new things is what keeps me growing as an artist. This blend of digital and watercolor techniques is something I definitely want to explore more in future projects.

One of the things I love most about being an artist is sharing my work with others and seeing how people connect with it. Whether it’s a small detail that catches someone’s eye or a feeling that resonates with them, knowing that my art can create those moments is incredibly rewarding. That’s why I always appreciate hearing your thoughts—what you see in the piece, what it makes you think of, or even what inspires you in your own creative journey.

Looking ahead, I have so many more ideas I can’t wait to bring to life. I’m constantly experimenting with new themes, refining my style, and finding fresh inspiration in the world around me. Art is a never-ending journey, and every piece I create is a step toward something new.

Arcane Au where Deckard Survived EP 3

If he survived I had the idea where he became a sorta brother figure towards Jinx but because Silco doesn't care for him, Deckard would be the kid who's just a worker who's given the same treatment as Sevika. (Ridiculed and all that)

If Deckard was like a son to Silco, he'd probably be treated like the first born child. (Watch over Jinx, make sure nothing happens to her etc, etc) And be treated more coldly if he doesn't live up to his standards

And with that, his relationship with Jinx would be different from Vi's. He'd be another mylo at first when he's 17-18 but he'd eventually mellow out and become the quiet older brother who's tolerable of Jinx's shenanigans when he's in his 20s because by this time—the refined shimmer he's been taking since his teen years—is slowly wearing him down so he'd been too sick/tired to really be all that focused on being jealous/angry with her

Just recognizing, that my traditional drawing gets more secure 🤩✨ Not aiming for perfection anymore, I‘m too old for this. Every moment itself, however it feels and not matter how big the mess, it would anyway be perfection if an artist or a writer would describe and visualize it, loading it with emotion, isn’t it? ✨

Doodles after learning the different meanings of different wax seals; according to this infographic using blue wax indicates romance or passion, the darker the blue, the stronger the feelings. Abram only has red wax (the default option) if any at all, but luckily he knows exactly who to ask when he finally learns there’s a separate proper way to seal certain sweet letters to his prince
