I bought some aro pins for ASAW :)

I bought them on Etsy. I'm not dropping the store name here as it's relatively close to where I live. I originally planned to get a more creative/cute one but there are no Etsy shops from my country that make those. And the shipping costs and import taxes were a little too high to spend on pins that I don't know how much I'll be wearing anyway. So I just went with the plain ones for now. I got two of them because it was cheaper to get to than to get just one for some reason.

They are pretty small, just 25 mm in diameter. I put my aro ring for size comparison (I think it's a size 8 if I recall correctly).

I wore one of them out yesterday already, and just seeing it on my bag made me very happy. I love that I can now signal to other aros that I'm one of them, too.

There’s a feeling that comes from being given your first piece of pride merch by a stranger.

Today I was in hot topic at a mall with my brother and I was wearing my love joy sweater. When someone goes “love joy” I look up to see a person and they show me some of their pins on their backpack manu of them be gogy pins. So when I saw the aro one I got all excited. And when they saw my love joy hoodie they said deserved a pin.

They gave me their aro pin. And I was about to cry. This is my first pride merch where I felt comfortable to own in that was given to me by someone else. All my other pride stuff was made by my hand so being given a simple aromantic pin mean so much

Two years ago I got my aro shirt, which I love, and now I’m interested in acquire more. I was surprised as why didn’t I bought another one. Turns about the motive is that 1) Incorrect flag, 2) excessive Ace or Aroace merch under the aro tag and 3) they are not as funny as other LGBTQIA+ merch as sometimes thy just mix the ace and aro stuff. Like literally I just saw one with the aro flag saying ‘I’m Ace’.

I think at this rate I have to be thankful for the one I have

came across your post about wanting to wear an aro flag pin that could be subtle yet obvious to fellow aros, and while this item isn't a pin i wanted to share: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1601446159/aro-arrow-keychain-aromantic-gift-funny i've got one on a bag and my car keys! i think it's fairly subtle due to not being an obvious flag, but the colors and the fact it's a literal arrow would probably be a clear signal to any aros that see it :D

Very cool indeed! I'm not using any keychains at the moment but if I wanna get one, I'll definitely think of this.

The idea of using it for a bag seems nice, though. Maybe I'll use it as a decorative element on my backpack zipper? Though it might be too big for that... I'll keep thinking about it.

I know for everyone who made enamel pins it's probably too late to change but please for the love of god include the alloaro, afamilial, and aplatonic flags your pride merch.

"But I can't include small identities!" You included the other aspec flags.

"But I already made my set!" Take note of this for your next. Or add onto it as an addition.

Acearos get shirts, pins with puns, fun in jokes, prints. I can count the amount of aroallo, aplatonic, and afamilial merch I've seen on one hand.

A couple years ago acearo was super rare, and now it's everywhere. Include us, too.
