RIP THEM IN HALF.
That or make a list that could be summed up as, "Aggressive Waste of Time".
I'm half tempted to loan you my old Reaver, Gunhandhaver.
Tumblr media
Granted I haven't touched that chimera of Armorcast, resin duplicates, and kitbashed parts in four years.
The gang wants to do an 12000pt 3v3 for warhammer next month, and I’m struggling with the choice of convincing them to reduce points OR rolling up an imperial guard list that teaches them the value of lower point games.

Water meter box supplier
A water meter box supplier provides water meter boxes that protect water meters from environmental damage, vandalism, and unauthorized tampering. These boxes are typically made from durable materials such as plastic, concrete, or composite materials. They come in various sizes and configurations to accommodate different types and sizes of water meters.
### Key Aspects of Water Meter Box Suppliers:
1. **Materials**: Suppliers offer boxes made from different materials depending on the application: — **Plastic**: Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and often used in residential areas. — **Concrete**: Very durable and often used in commercial or industrial settings. — **Composite**: A mix of materials to offer durability, lightweight, and corrosion resistance.
2. **Customization**: Some suppliers provide customized solutions to meet specific needs, such as custom sizes, shapes, or additional features like locking mechanisms.
3. **Compliance and Standards**: Reputable suppliers ensure their products meet industry standards and local regulations for water meter protection.
4. **Durability**: Quality water meter boxes are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, impacts, and exposure to chemicals.
5. **Installation and Maintenance**: Some suppliers may also offer installation services or provide guidance on proper installation and maintenance to ensure long-term performance.
### Popular Water Meter Box Suppliers: - **Ford Meter Box Company**: Known for a wide range of waterworks products, including meter boxes. - **Mueller Co.**: Offers durable meter boxes and lids that are used widely in water distribution systems. - **Armorcast Products**: Specializes in composite water meter boxes and other utility enclosures.
If you need more specific information, such as a list of suppliers in a particular region or product comparisons, feel free to ask!

Armorcast Reaver Titan, Stages 2-3
So my next step immediately after cleaning up the various components was to do a basic pass using my hobby knife to look for any notable areas of flash or visible mold lines. When that was done, the next step was to do something slightly unusual.
The concept of this Titan is that it was finished with metal and components taken from parts of loyalist Titans lost in the early battles of the Heresy, and then dedicated as a sort of memorial to the betrayed dead of those early acts of infamy. I looked for the right theme and then saw an idea by another member of a Horus Heresy group. He was building a Khorne themed traitor Titan, and had this sort of interesting idea to cover the surface with skulls, which is something you occasionally see in artwork or even (usually badly) airbrushed models. It was very cool idea, and I decided to go partly with the concept. As a result, I’ve covered roughly forty percent of the Titan, on its left side from viewer perspective, in skulls. This makes it a sort of grand ossuary for Horus’ victims. I think it’ll be fairly spectacular when finished. Here are the completed pieces. Next step is to go over and file down any bits of flash or sprue on the skulls, and then I can begin the painting process.

The latest addition to my Iron Saviors, A FUCKING TITAN. This is an old Armorcast Reaver Titan, made in 1993 under licence from Games Workshop.
It’s armed with a pair of twin Turbo-Laser Destructors and a Apocalypse Missile Launcher. The Turbo laser’s are going to need some slight cosmetic modifications to make them into Laser Blasters so he can be used in the current game.
 I’m naming him Rex Tremendae.

On of my relaxations from writing books is customising Eldar (Aeldari, Drukhari, or whatever they’re calling them this month) Titans and similar W40k related things for a W40k-based adventuring world I’ve started a series of stories about.
Fortunately, I know a talented painter who can turn my creations into true art (she occasionally does commissions - check her Etsy store).
This, then, is the completed Eldar Harlequin troupe The Masque of Isha’s Grace, complete with their Solitaire Revenant Titan (there’s a thread on the Titan build that starts here).
The monster in the background of the last photo is my ongoing project, a full Warlock Titan conversion on a ForgeWorld Phantom Titan, using an original Merlyn head sculpted for the Armorcast Phanton Titan. (There’s a series of posts about that starting here.)

Ordered more decals, this time Ginfritter's heraldic decals from Armorcast.
It's payday for me, so I do not mind paying that bit extra for cross Atlantic stuff.

Armorcast Reaver Titan, continued.
I’ve now painted the mounted skulls in a Vallejo off white. This was allowed to dry, and then the skulls were given a coat of contrast Skeleton Horde.
The image shows the Titan power claw, half of which is in the original white, half with the contrast coat, to show the effect that can be achieved. Looking good, and getting closer!
Q: “How big are these?”
A: Working on comparison shots. Sorry.
Q: “What game is this for?”
A: Horus Heresy. It’s the largest Titan you can fit into a 3,000 point list with anything approaching support arms. Titans are fewer points in 30k that they are in 40k (a Warhound, for example, is 750 points in Horus Heresy, close to 2000 in 9th). I have to use the optional Leviathan Force organization to use the Reaver, as the cost is greater than the 25% normally allowed for a Lord of War. Supporting arms are Mechanicum. This is a loyalist unit.
Q: “Are these models game legal?”
A: If your HH or 40k group allows super heavies, and you’ve paid the proper cost, then yes. They are legitimate GW models. Most tournaments should allow them, but some have rules about larger units, and of course some seem to believe GW never made models prior to about ten years ago, but your mileage may very. My local GW stores have enthusiastically okayed its use: most of them love the older stuff.
I wouldn’t go larger unless I wanted a unit only meant for me occasional scenarios. At this point level, the Reaver is a tough nut but not invincible, and the presence of multiple heavy units in the 30k setting means it needs supporting arms to survive. If we were to do a Horus Heresy escalation thing, I’d probably bring him in only after mustering the rest of the army. Just don’t think fielding a Titan by itself, again aside from special scenarios, would be all that fun. Maybe it would, dunno. It’s been fun running my Warhound alongside other players in multi player games, certainly.
That said. I have one other Titan ambition , and that is to get an Ordo Sinistdr psi Titan for occasional games.
