I’m finally back home and settled down.

Over the last week I have been over at my husband’s place to celebrate new year’s. I nyoomed over a bit after my birthday and returned yesterday and now I am finally rested enough to decently function again. Kind of.

So here’s a little bit of the stuff I got from my dearly beloved.

Sweetheart got me a little bit of Kasen Kanesada plush which I’m super happy about because Kasen is my starter and I really love him a lot. Some of the stuff she admitted was rather hard to get but she somehow did it anyways.

The Kasen Kanesada plushes with some other plushes [excluding the smol Mikazuki Munechika because I brought him along from home and the Juzumaru Tsunetsugu plush in the very middle], a Hiden Yui no Me no Hototogisu bromide of Mitsuya Ryo as Honebami Toushirou and the Billy’s Target single sung by Kaida Yuki as Fuji Shusuke from Prince of Tennis. Can we please appreciate that my husband remembered that Mitsuya Ryo was my favourite actor for Fuji Shusuke in the Tenimyu which was the reason for the Honebami bromide? To have an “undercover Fuji”?

By the way, my Japanese penpal got me the Kasen Kanesada Kyungurumi and I am dying to finally get it delivered to me so it can join my other Kasen Kanesada plushes.

A badge of Arisawa Shoutaro as Izuminokami Kanesada from Shinkenranbusai 2017 which I have slapped straight in the center of my new pink canvas backpack which I have gotten from @candycottonforest as a birthday present.

This might not seem quite special but it is the real and licensed charm of Tomoegata Naginata in his internal affair clothing. Why do I have to mention it? A few months ago I bought a charm similar to that but it was a fake as it has no license anywhere. It made me quite sad but I’ve never been able to grab an original one because I have only seen them getting sold overpriced. My husband managed to get one for me.

This was us at the Christmas market when we went out for a date. I don’t only look tired, I was pretty tired on that day.

Also, this came in for me today and was my Christmas and birthday present to myself.

July 2021 Monthly News Round-Up

It’s round-up time! Below the read more is a compilation of some notable news stories that we haven’t previously posted about.

This month features, an idol group concept change, a surprise duo return, new editions to H!P units and always more!

AKB48

Yui Yokohama has resumed activities from the group on July 1st. This was done after taking a break from June 9th due to poor physical condition. [x*] Member Mion Mukichi resumed activities on July 5th. [x*] Yurina Gyoten tested positive for COVID-19 on July 29th. [x*] Member Yuki Suzuki has resumed activities on July 20th. She was suspended in late April after dating rumor circulated. [x*]

Angerme

Member Layla Ice tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month. She has suspended her activities until she has recovered. [x*]

Candy zoo

The group restarted activities on August 15th. They changed their concept from ‘animal idols’ to ‘dynamic x cute’. They also altered their line-up from 7 to 5 members, with only 2 members  Natsuko Sugaya and Fuumi Nakahara remaining from the original line-up. [x*]

Full Power Girls R (Zenryoku Shoujo R)

The group announced on July 1st that the group will disband September 23rd. [x*]

Hello Project/Juice=Juice/Tsubaki Factory

Four new members have been added to the Hello Dream unit. Their names are Nakayama Natsume, Hiromoto Ruli, Nishizaki Miku and Kitahara Momo. There will be potentially more members announced at later date.[x] In addition, Juice=Juice have added three new members Irie Risa, Arisawa Ichika and Ebata Kisaki. Lastly, Tsubaki Factory have added four new members Kasai Yuumi, Yagi Shiori, Fukuda Marin and Yofuu Runo. [x]

Niji no Conquistador

The group has selected Arisa Ishihara to join the group after her year long audition process. [x*]

NMB48

Mikana Yamamoto has returned to activities on July 29th, after a long break due to poor condition starting in April. [x*]

Nogizaka46

Member Momoko Ozono announced that she will be graduating from the group, and eat entertainment industry on September 4th. [x*] Subsequently, member Kazumi Takayama announced that she will be graduating after activities associated with the 28th single have finished. [x*]

PARADISES

Former Utauuta withdrew from the group immediately on July 9th. She cited differences between what she wanted to do, verses the group. She is still signed to WACK & SCRAMBLES. [x*]

Four members, Yuu Maeda, Man Mizuno, Akanae Minato and Rumina Murakami all tested positive for COVID-19. The group’s activities will be suspended until August 2nd. [x*]

Pure White Canvas

Two former members, Ema Suzuki and Hikaru Mugita have re-joined the group after graduating over 13 months earlier. [x*]

Saiko Graduation

This particular group it’s rather ironic perhaps, but on July first it was announced that the entire current line-up will graduate on September 4th. Members Nao, Natsuhana, and Ameri Tanaka will continue to have contracts with the company A NEW YOU. Member Papimumu will leave the company. Member Aogi will be under Kanosare Rafueisu company. Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku

Three members, Kaho Kobayashi, Riko Nakayama, and Hintata Kashiwagi tested positive for COVID-19. [x*] [x*] Lastly, Mirei Hoshima also was later announced to have contracted COVID-19. [x*]

SKE48

Member Makiko Saito had a minor injury that will have her out until August 4th. [x*]

Up Up Girls (Kakko Kari)

Member Yume Aoyagi tested positive for COVID-19. The group cancelled all upcoming activities while staff and other members are tested. [x*]

You’ll Melt More!

Members Kechon and Chiffon will be graduating from the group on October 4th. You can read both girls statements [HERE] in Japanese with google translate. The group also announced a new tour and album with this.

A Anzupia, Love Sayaito, and YUiNA EMPiRE have all tested positive for COVID-19. The group have cancelled their early August performances. [x*]

End of the year butai asks

1. Firstly, how did you manage to find out about 2.5D butai/musical? Which butai/musical was your first and your impression of it?

I stumbled across butai while in the Haikyuu fandom! I heard that Haikyuu had a stage play and out of curiosity went to go look for it, just so i could see what it was like. God, I fell IN LOVE with butai after watching Haisute. It was only the first Haisute, & the production itself has evolved so much as a whole since then, but even then that production took my breath away & gave me an interest in butai after watching it.

2. Who was your first favourite 2.5D actor/actress? Why?

Hahaaa my first favourite was either Asuma Kousuke or Ino Hiroki ^^; I had an interest in Kousuke cause I thought he was kinda cute, & I liked Ino cause Sugawara was originally my favourite Haikyuu character. My first favourite 2.5d ACTRESS was Ito Yui. I think i came across her when looking at narusute stuff & i FELL IN LOVE help shes so cute

3. Top 3 (or more) favourite butai of the year?

Shousha To Haisha, Yuugeki, did i mention Shousha To Haisha,

4. Top 3 (or more) least favourite butai of the year?

Mmeeehhh don’t really have any, i found brave10 a little weirdly put together but overall i wouldnt say i hated it

Again, don’t really have any

Hmmmm in terms of high hopes I have to say Arisawa Shoutarou, Miura Hiroki, Yokota Ryugi

In some way I’d say Yuugeki, cause I didn’t know what to expect from it, neither did I expect to LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DO. I know its not 2.5d but...

12. Top 3 (or more) anime/manga/game that you would love to see being adapted into a butai/musical in the future?

Honestly I’d be SO INTRIGUED Houseki No Kuni could be adapted into a butai/musical. That, and Cinderella Girls, as well as... Kiznaiver. That’d be interesting to watch.

13. Top 3 (or more) favourite fandom on the year?

Toumyu!!!! i love toumyu fandom A WHOLE LOT w then probably haikyuu & tkrb, as well as bpro

14. How long have you been in the 2.5D fandom?

I watched Haisute around early-mid 2016 but I think I only really got into the fandom in Feb 2017. So, about 10 months now.

15. Lastly, what is your overall opinion of the 2.5D fandom so far?

Like any fandom, there are both wonderful people and not-so-wonderful people in it, but I’m glad to say that I’ve come across far more of the former than the latter in this fandom. ^^ So many of the people I’ve met are so kind and funny!!
