"May I tell you something? I know this might sound strange, but my Maman and Papa are my closest friends." Marie-Alexandra said, there was something about this woman that the princess felt she could trust.

"Before the war, they always had time for me. But now... they are very busy." Smoothing out imaginary wrinkles in her skirt. Marie-Alexandra recalled the happy days of her golden childhood.

It was involuntary at this point, and Robin let out a soft chuckle, “I have found that princesses seem to have friends, just not many real ones. I seem to have a similar problem, but I am not a princess by any means. If I was, I wouldn’t have been assigned to you.” 

The heist Robin had planned was a big one. This kingdom was one she hadn’t been in before, and certainly no one knew her. She had taken her son Rowan and decided to acquire a position in the palace. Using her skills of persuasion, they allowed her to keep the princess company.

Does Marie Alexandra know any practical skills? Did she grown up working alongside the servants when possible? Does she value others and the work they do?

Marie-Alexandra grew up with a foot in both worlds. Her parents made sure that she knew how to mend her own gowns, as well as the embroidery that was traditionally taught to the upper class. 

Her mother taught her to be kind and helpful to everyone, no matter their station. So yes, the princess grew up learning how to polish the silver from the maids as well as how to properly set a table for a state dinner.
