I honestly worry that there are some people who would not survive a Trump Presidency
I don’t care how much you love Gary Johnson, or Jill Stein. On November 8, 2016, one of two things will be true: either Hillary Clinton will be elected President, or Donald Trump will be elected President.
Which one, HONESTLY, would be worse?
This isn’t the year to “vote your conscience.”
There’s a fucking dangerous man one election away from being President.
This is the year to vote to survive.
Any other year, this would be an exaggeration. We survived Bush, we could have survived McCain or Romney. This year, Trump’s danger is no exaggeration.

My dad’s a pretty awesome guy. When my brother came in and woke me up from a nap this afternoon saying ‘Wake up! I’m hungry’ (subtext: wake up and make dinner!), Dad would not stand for it and reamed him out. BIG TIME. Not only because it’s rude, but because Dad doesn’t believe in old-fashioned gender-roles (if a woman WANTS to cook and be a housewife, that’s one thing, but he doesn’t believe in forcing women to stay in the kitchen. If a man’s hungry, he should go make himself something to eat instead of telling his wife/sister/daughter to do it). My brother quickly apologized (sincerely, he hadn’t meant to be rude and sexist, he’d meant it as a teasing wake-up call), and went out to wash dishes so dinner could get started. Dad still made sure that my brother understood that that sort of teasing was not okay. Pretty cool, if you ask me.
