Bandai Namco US Announces Summer 2024 Tamagotchi Original Shells

The summer shells are here! Bandai Namco US has announced three new shells for summer, and they’re adorable!

First is Argyle Heart which features a red and white argyle pattern, with light blue hearts around the screen. There’s also a darker blue border around the screen and dark blue buttons. Argyle Heart features P2 programming.

Second is in our opinion the star of the show. Flower Perfume features a translucent sparkly shell with white, pink, blue, and yellow flowers surrounding the screen. The border around the screen isn a light pink, and the buttons are a light purple. Flower Perfume features P2 programming.

Third is Tama Garden, which you might have seen floating around the internet before. Tama Flower features a dark green shell, with some graphics of trees, plants, Mametchi, and Kuchipatchi surrounding the screen. The screen is outlined in a magenta pink, and the buttons are a darker purple. Tama Flower features P1 programming.

All three shells are now available for preorder on Amazon priced at $19.99, with a release date of July 9th, 2024!

It's a little thing, but I love how Jonathan takes a moment... fully prepares for Nancy to break up with him after everything that's happened (that he blames himself for)... and then attempts to tackle their conflict head on. He truly believes that he's starting the conversation that is going to end them and is relieved/shocked that there's still hope.

coming back from semi drawing-hiatus to say what’s up! and here’s a jargyle listening to ‘besitos’ by selena and eating mexican cookies commission for the truly lovely ,talented and patient @artistaquinterob , this took so long for me to finish so added some extra visual spice and an extra page of doodles for them

Jon wants to spend time with Nance, and Rob is off with Vickie so the two brainstorm and they're like, why don't we put them together? two sorta himbos with really pretty hair, it's perfect!

so basically Jon leaves Argyle at Steve's.

And then Jon and Nancy come back to check on them only to find the two on Steve's couch basically humping. (If you want the imagery, and I know you do, Steve is straddling Argyles lap, hands tangled in each others hair, both red in the face and Steve keeps making these fucking noises that not even the straightest of the straight could hear and leave soft.)

turns out. they're really good for each other.

and it's only a little weird getting used to seeing them kiss. but it's nice.

Today is four weeks since I saw Argylle for the first time. I don't know how I could have lived without this movie and Aidan with Elly before. 😆😍 They totally stole my heart.

Robin and Steve getting a job as crime scene clean up crew because hey, it’s a job and it pays well. They are at a regular job, thankfully the bodies are always taken away before they get there so it’s just the blood and other unsavoury things they have to deal with.

What they don’t expect to see is two curly haired strangers rushing up to the scene. A tense conversation between them, the shorter fiery girl telling the taller, defensive boy off

‘maybe DON’T get distracted next time? You think we need another vampire to compete with?’

The taller boy firing back ‘I might be dead but you can’t expect me to hear black sabbath and NOT air guitar! I’ll find our new ‘friend’ and I’ll fix it. Okay!? I’m sorry!’

The intruders walk right into the scene before they acknowledge Robin and Steve.

‘Hello? Hi? Guys this is a crime scene, you can’t just walk through here!’ Steve is infront of both of them, hands on hips and a stern look. Robin comes up to his side, eyeing the pair and cautious after overhearing their conversation

‘Oh. Our mistake. We’ll come back later. You um..don’t happen to know what happened to the victim do you?’ The girl asks, brown eyes flighty before settling on Robin and giving a sweet smile and batting her lashes. Robin stutters, blushing hard and as she tries to give an answer when Steve interjects

‘I’m sorry, we can’t answer that. Maybe try the police?’ It’s said with an irritated undertone almost like he’s jealous that he isn’t the one on the receiving end of the girls attention. But then the other boy steps up, leans far too close while giving Steve a thorough once over that makes Steve feel like he’s been undressed. Steve maybe wishes he was.

‘Oh but I think I’d rather speak to you.’ The boy winks and as he smiles there’s a hint of canine teeth that look unnaturally pointed that the boy licks over. Before he can go any further, the girl thrusts her hand out with a tight lipped smile

‘Ignore him. Please. I’m Nancy, this is Eddie. But like I said, ignore him.’

The boy, Eddie, gives an indignant ‘hey!’ while Nancy continues.

‘We really respect what you do, clearly important and valued work but we are going to need you to come with us. It’s your choice if it’s voluntary or force.’

Robin quickly finds Steve’s hand, as they turn to face each other and run.

I love the idea of Billy who doesn't feel the pressure of having to work out all the time or to look a certain way, his bad diet catching up to him, and his body getting softer (especially his boobs and tummy). Of course his partners enjoy his well deserved nesting period as much as he does... if not more 🤭

He smiles, and it's not forced anymore. Nothing is forced. Everything is his choice, and he's happy.

For Steve, Jonathan, Heather, Chrissy, and Argyle, it's like watching a star shine brighter than ever before.
