My therian realization

(Was going to wait until I had the vocab figured out. Instead I'm making this while it's fresh in my mind. If you know the words to describe my identity please tell me.)

If you read my post on me coming out as a furry some if this will be familiar but I'll try to not repeat myself much.

I've mentioned on my Tumblr how my transphobic parents comparing me being trans to furries identifying as animals. (Furry and therian are not the same but my parents don't know that) gave me a dislike of therians and furries because I thought if it weren't for them I could convince my parents to accept me.

I made a post saying I didn't like animal hrt and asked for non animal hrt trans comics. It WASN'T the intent of the post but I was told it sounded like i thought people shouldn't make animal hrt comics.

I deleted the post and made a second post saying I'm not a furry but I wish gene slicing allowed people to be there fursonas irl so that I could be a catgirl. The post was supposed to be a sorry. I was told I was a furry in denial. I realized I was a furry and now I love animal hrt.

I realized my dislike of furries and therians was stupid. I'd rather be on there side then try to appeal to my parents who hate me.

I started liking therian posts under the assumption they were furry posts. Then Tumblr recommended me posts that were undeniably therian posts that I related to.

I talked to some therians and self reflected on my identity.

My identity: I don't have species dysphoria. I don't mind being perceived as human. I just don't feel human. I wish I could shape shift into animals both humanoid and non humanoid. My default form would be a humanoid bat that's also a vampire. I like acting in an animalistic way.

I'm sorry for every bad thing I said about furries and therians. I was blinded by the idea of getting acceptance where I would never get it (explanation not an excuse)

Honestly pretty unlikely of him to actually get up and fetch you an orange. Cause most of the times when you guys do hang out, he's very tired out from training all day and too sore to stand.

Would peel it after heaving a sigh through his nose. Would not wash it or peel the sticker.

Would correct you and say that this is a tangerine and not an orange.

Would lean back on the opposite end of the couch and jokingly toss a few pieces aiming for your mouth. Would stop only after it hits you eye. And then feed you one by one.

Would sit down and quirk a brow at you when you hold it out to him and ask him to peel it.

Very confused as to why you can't do it yourself. But he's smart and figures out that it's probably some sort of trend you saw on social media.

So he begins to act like a chivalrous knight. A bit of a naughty one though.

Would sit super duper close to you, like basically an inch away from being on your lap and stare at you as you chew with a smirk on his face, acting like a 90's housewife who's just succeeded in killing her husband. Unnerving.

Would ask you to lick off the juices that dripped onto his hand cause he was too rough when peeling. And would stare as you do it with a light blush dusted across his face. Is totally imagining his thing in place of his fingers.

Pretty likely to ask a servant to get one for you but also pretty likely to fetch one himself.

Would peel it for you himself, zero hesitation.

Would cringe though when the juices spray on him and gets on his black clothes which would lead to a noticeable stain, at least in his eyes.

Wouldn't throw a fit in front of you though and would continue to peel.

Would feed them to you but using a fork. He really doesn't wanna risk you bitting him cause he doesn't like the feeling. And also because he's classy.

Since he's downright terrified of cats, ever since learning through inhyuk that they hate the smell of citrus, he's been dousing himself in it. And there are stray orange peels laying all around his house to drive away cats.

Would have it laying in a fruit bowl right on the living room table.

Would peel so skillfully. Get every white tringy bit and doesn't spill a single drop or break the skin.

You almost feel bad eating it cause if looks so perfect.

Would give you an annoyed stare if you refuse to eat though, like 'why'd you make me do shit when you aren't even gonna eat it? '

Please eat it or his perfectionist mind is gonna start thinking that he didn't peel it well enough.

Would stare at the tangerine and would and would be salivating inside his mouth. Would not eat until you almost hand feed him.

Tbh I’ve never really viewed Han’s death as an insurmountable moral obstacle in Kylo’s redemption arc. This could be because I personally don’t have many strong or passionate feelings about him as a character, but I also think that from a story perspective, it’s because his death has a relevant narrative function for Kylo’s character arc.

The fact that the movies take the time to show the viewer his guilt and turmoil over the event, telling Rey that he didn’t hate Han, Snoke berating him for being so shaken by it, these are clear examples of his progression towards redemption. Especially considering that Han had already forgiven his son for killing him and his death acted as a symbolic gesture to give him a push in the right direction. Because it was precisely Han’s death that was the catalyst for Ben’s development in the subsequent movies. I guess I just don’t really see it as a huge deal, Han died loving his son and what better way to honour his sacrifice than for it to eventually culminate in his son returning back to the light?

Yes I was wondering if it would be a CO poisoning thing - which is where I was going with the post I made at 3am (my time) about the pipes Gerrard mentioned - it was 3am so I didn't actually state CO as the thing because my brain was not in fully functional mode 😂

It would be so on brand for the show to go down that route! especially as Buck has been stuck on latrine duty for so long - hence more exposed to those pipes perhaps!

My post about Tommy hitting Buck was more of a bit of speculative fun - to explore aspects of Bucks character and how the show might choose to address them - there are lots of possibilities!

I am very much of the opinion that it will be a poisoning thing - and that Hen will also be affected - hence the hallucination of Denny getting hit by a car and trapped - seeing her worst nightmares!

I actually really like the metaphor of CO poisoning to be honest. CO poisoning can also cause, increased heart rate, sleepiness, delirium, confusion and the depression of the central nervous system, alongside hallucinations and lesions.

Using CO poisoning as a way of indicating the reality of Buck's relationships over the course of all 8 seasons - that he's been slowly, slowly poisoning himself by just falling into all these relationships without actually stopping to look at what he wants or needs and how they're making him feel - letting others chase him and just going along with things, until a physical manifestation appears in the form of a lesion. its a really interesting and clever way of exploring Bucks tendencies to not choose for himself and not look internally at his wants and needs and also to not look to closely at his heart (where he'll find Eddie when he does)

CO poisoning slowly increasing your heart rate (abby), headaches and dizziness (Ali), kind of making you sluggish - like you've got anaesthetic in your system (depression of the central nervous system) (taylor), shortness of breath (Natalia) and being confused and disoriented (hello I misunderstood the assignment) when Tommy kissed him. The delirium of realising a new part of yourself you didn't know existed before, and then having it manifest visually in a physical lesion - Tommy being akin to a lesion on Bucks life (in a halloween episode no less) as almost a final and visual symptom is peak comedy (only on 911!) and such an interesting way to introduce baggage and hurdles or whatever synonym Oliver wants to go with in his next interview! Because if its visual - it means Buck has become aware of things - metaphorically he's beginning to understand what he does every time he is in a relationship - and now he has to both stop the cause of those symptoms and treat them before they 'kill' him - basically he has to actually learn from his past relationships (and his current one) and get off that hamster wheel. Its such a clever metaphor for Bucks relationships and his inability to look at things until they become so obvious he cannot avoid them.

He's going to learn that he's going about things the same way with a man as he did with the women he dated and this is where he finally looks and learns and unpacks that baggage and moves forward!
