Alright. So.... for the hcg diet, I am not a big fan if the loading days. And when I was deep in my disorder, those days would stop everything because the loading days would never stop.

Because there was always a reason to eat. A justification.

I did have some things to enjoy yesterday- a nut roll, sushi 🍣, some halotop, skinny pop popcorn and a protein brownie.

So... here is what I am doing. I am planning on keeping it loose mentally because the "all or nothing" mentality does not work for me.

Here are the primary allowed foods for phase 2- basically meat & veggies. There are some other things but my plan is to keep everything as basic betty as possible.

I noticed turkey and salmon are not on the list, so as soon as I am done with what I have cooked, I will have to get something else. Which is a bit weird because I was trying to get super lean turkey.

The good news is this is a really easy eating plan and sticks to what I ultimately want to eat to live my life- meat and veggies. Low low upf.

During an altercation with a rouge Phantom had unfortunately lost one of his arms in a contraption, not that he seemed to care though, which should've been their biggest hint but they were too busy trying get him back to the watchtower to be treated.

They had been preparing what they needed to heal him when a loud snap caught their attention. The whole room watched in horror as one of their youngest member bit into his arm without a care in the world, biting through his arm with ease as if it was a piece of chicken, eating the bones and all.

"PHANTOM!"

The boy turned to the distressed hero smiling with his cheeks full and painted with his green blood. His smile fell a bit once he noticed the looks everyone was giving him.

"WhAe?"

The flesh in his mouth muffled his wording, they would tell him not to speak with his mouth full but right now they need to get him to stop eating his arm.

I'M GNAWING AT THE BARS FOR THIS FIC RHI. There's so many components I love especially with the hyper-aware and insecure MC towards the system and that being her blindspot three alphas' infatuation with her. Even if she is a beta, it's pretty clear that she's entangled in the system even if she doesn't want to. That's one part I always like about outsider MC tropes since they aren't always spared from these hiearchies, which is why I deeply adore the portrayal of a beta MC amongst a sea of omega MCs (no offense to the writers tho!)

I feel like the fic was also a good combination of standout parts from Powder Keg and Means to an End with the Ame/Aya similarity and the climax ending at the hospital. I wonder what other readers' interpretation of Aya would be like especially since Ame got negative reception at her naivety and her blind desire to be with the boy/s. I think they're both buffers in the sense that if they were gone, a lot of the tension would be removed as the boys would have taken a more straightforward and drastic approach.

To me, I feel like Aya's character was very interesting especially since her outright flaws in the fic could be attributed to her omega nature. It's understandable that she would have a tunnel vision to getting a pack. It's also pretty clear in the fic that Aya was willing to walk away as long as MC communicated it to her, which makes MC's discomfort and eventual assault by Ushijima all the more painful. I've made this review solely centered on the girls since they're very complex leading ladies, but the alphas oh my god...

We've already seen a team up with Ushijima and Tendou before, but Semi is such a good addition to the mix. He reminds me of a mixture between Matsukawa and Kuroo through his vibes, and he was really intimidating/pushy at simultaneously luring and taunting MC in their solo convo. Aside from that, Ushijima's scenes were an unexpected part of the fic since he always seeemed composed and cold until he isn't. I just want to look into his head during the match since he was staring at MC so intensely. Also, Tendou's part was interesting since he was just playing Aya at the tips of his fingertips. It's a nice change for him to just manipulate another person so easily for the sake of his goals.

If you don't mind this very long post, I have a few questions to ask since I love the fic and I want a new trend of beta readers to come out in the a/b/o fics 🙏

- What was the three's first impression of the MC when they actually met face-to-face during the game?

- What were Tendou and Aya talking about in their solo conversation?

- What's their endgame? Would they be willing to expand their pack so that other alphas, omegas, and betas can have a taste of MC?

- The three wanted to keep Aya as a back-up, but would there be a line she could never cross or she'd get removed from the arrangement entirely?

- Maybe it's just my ass being delusional since Aya and MC have a close relationship, but did Aya ever think of pursuing things with her romantically even with her status?

it's funny you bring up ame, because after the backlash with her character in means to an end i tried to make ayako at least slightly more sympathetic?? she's not perfect by any means, but at the end of the day she's just a girl who loves her best friend. she's balancing her biological needs – a veritable ticking clock – against the risk of losing the only person she cares about, and it goes catastrophically wrong

okay onto the questions;

i think ushijima's reaction speaks for itself. if there was any doubt she was it, it pretty much evaporated right then and there.

for semi, it's her first time meeting him, sure, but with the most free time on his hands, he's pretty well acquainted with their little beta.

with tendou, what she attributes to friendly enthusiasm is...well, barely repressed horniness. he wants to bend her over so bad

2. it's mostly smalltalk and funny stores, tendou prying into her life with the reader between anecdotes of his own and aya giggling along. his attention wanes pretty quick without the reader

3. their pack is perfect as is. three alphas and their beta mate. at one point they were willing to potentially include aya in that, but considering ushijima completely lost it over the omega scenting her and semi's own simmering jealousy (which i think comes as a surprise to him as well), those plans were quickly abandoned. they're too possessive to share, even on a limited basis.

4. i think even if they'd gone ahead with the plan, the end result would've been the same, just a slower process. the limits to the levels of contact they'd accept growing smaller and more restrictive day by day.

5. the first draft was very, very gay. like almost overtly. jennifer's body levels of 'gay for your best friend'. i ended up dialling it down to make it more open to interpretation, but i think that ultimately, no matter how you read it, if aya could deal with her heats entirely on her own, she'd be more than happy to live out her days just the two of them.

Johnny Lawrence is the type of bottom that gets confused as a top by like everyone. He's so brash and quick tempered, he's the leader of his little karate group, in their minds he is a textbook dom top.

And Johnny Lawrence is very content to believe this himself. He likes being in charge and has no problem taking charge in the bedroom. He blames any slight negative feelings on just being nervous.

But Daniel LaRusso sees right through him and knows exactly what he wants, even when Johnny doesn't. And oh boy does he use it to his advantage.

Johnny Lawrence hates the smug little fucker in one of his college courses. He hates how he always seems to find his way to Johnny's side. Johnny hates how he practically keeps his eyes locked on the door until Daniel walks in.

So Johnny is an asshole to him because what the fuck else is he supposed to do?

Daniel is unimpressed, he knows what Johnny really wants and every time he calls Johnny "baby" playfully and the other man flinches and goes bright red, he's more determined to prove it.

Culminates in an insane session where Daniel rocks Johnny's world and tames the brat in him.

It feels like an entity of his own, the way his blood rushes inside his body, the way his bones and flesh too small to hold what he's feeling. It feels like he's one of those poor people the alien's egg is going to incubate in, tear through him to become the deeply terrifying, shapeless, haunting monster.

This feeling is overwhelming, something he can't really name. But it's not unwelcomed. It is, in some fucked up way, like a call to him — he feels that rush of power, of trust, too. The call to his magic. The way his breaths come out calmer.

He can't really name it, not really, but he knows this feeling is the most important thing he possesses.

So it's not really a shock when the demon looks at him and only him, one arm out like he's going to snatch it without permission, a sharp grin on its borrowed face. "You," the demon beckons, and Derek snarls, protective. Derek moves in front of him, like it's going to stop the demon. Like there's anything they can do except take this deal. The demon laughs, reedy and evil, and he's sure the person doesn't sound like this; this demon has taken over completely, and Stiles doubts they can save the man who is being possessed at the moment.

"What do you want?" Derek's fang slur his question, but he's understandable, and Stiles puts his hand on Derek's shoulder, pulls him by his soft henley. They were on a walk around the preserve, a routine perimeter check, but here they stand now, in the middle of this clearing where kids had definitely messed around in and found the fuck out.

The camping bags are still warm, but the trail to the kids has gone cold. Unless they take this deal.

"I told you, wolf," the demon sing-songs, and Stiles wonders where he got this body from. The man is clearly in his 30's, light brown hair, hazelnut skin, brown eyes. He cannot be one of the people who summoned the demon, here. "I want what's most precious to your pet."

Derek's been growling all this time, but now he roars, all restraint broken under the clearly verbalized threat.

Only Stiles' hand on Derek's shoulder stops him from leaping at the demon.

"Derek," he says, concerned. They have no idea how to deal with demons that aren't evil fox spirits. "Maybe this is the only way."

And he wants out. He knows what are his most precious things — his feelings. Especially for him. He wants to get rid of it, because there's rarely anything as painful as feeling like your world tilts on its axis when you know theirs stays the same. They're friends, and pack, and that is all they can be.

It would be okay to lose these feelings.

"Listen to him, listen to him!"

"Stiles, don't you dare move!"

Stiles moves around Derek and is again in front of the demon. "Will you leave, then? Never to come back?"

"I'd do you one better — I shall forbid any other of my kind to come back here."

Derek doesn't grab him back, but he does verbally accuse Stiles of being stupid. Stiles is grateful for their relationship to have come to a point where Derek knows better than to stop him when he's set his mind, and he's really fucking gonna miss his bubbling mess of a heart later.

"Deal," he says, and there the lips come, cold and cruel; a quick, dirty kiss that leaves Stiles gasping for breath.

He closes his eyes, and when he opens them, it's to Derek hovering over him worriedly. It makes Stiles feel packed, so he pushes Derek backwards, and stomps his way back towards the Loft.

Derek follows suit.
