Hades going on about how Thanatos' mom dumped Thanatos on him and left Hades to raise the guy feels like it's supposed to makes us go "Look how ungrateful this guy is, betraying the one guy who stood by him all his life by cruelly going after his benefactor's girlfriend." but it actually makes Hades look worse.
First of all, Thanatos didn't ask for that job. His mom shoved him into it, and YOU LET HER, HADES. Just like with Persephone, you could've pawned him off on someone else. Give him a recommendation letter. Do something. You didn't. You did not dislike the idea of child labor enough to get rid of him.
Second of all, as pissy as Hades is about Thanatos talking all that shit, Persephone did the crime Thanatos accused her of. She has yet to argue that she didn't kill those people. In fact, she has said the opposite. People on her side have admitted she killed those people. Why is Thanatos the bad guy?Cause he's not enabling corruption when his adoptive dad's gf is involved? Fuck that bullshit
Thirdly, Thanatos' mom seems to have become a deadbeat after dumping the kid on Hades, since we never see or hear of her interacting with him in between that point and the present and we never see his sperm donor so that bitch is probably a deadbeat too. Hades is basically the only family he really has, and he is putting Thanatos in a position where if he doesn't enable Hades' questionable romance choice, Hades will turn on him without hesitation like a rabid dog biting anyone who comes near.

if people thinks getting approved for disability is easy, please know that it took three years. three denials. and a lawyer before they finally approved me for disability. and now i get an income thats not enough for me to live on my own. and there are so many restrictions that i have a savings limit or can't have too many assets otherwise they'll deduct from my monthly check.
know that the first time you apply, its an instant denial. know that one of my relatives dying from brain cancer who couldn't work got denied disability the first time he applied.
know that within 6-18 months of getting approved they interview you once more to make sure that you actually qualify for disability. and know that you will get interview again and again for the next few years. that there's always a risk of them taking you off disability if you don't meet their standards.
something to think about when you complain about people on disability.

My first time watching Glass Onion it was obvious that Miles' speeches were bullshit, but I still searched for any hidden meaning there might be.
The second time is a different experience though because every time my brain starts to search for meaning, I feel like Benoit Blanc discovering that no, there is absolutely no hidden meaning.
It's bullshit it's all nothing nothing nothing! It is just how you end up talking when everyone reacts to your self-aggrandizing word vomit like it is actually wisdom.
Also, legit, when Miles gave his stupid bullshit speech about what the word 'disruptor' means to him, I shit you not I was like holy shit am I back in business school right now?!
Miles must have given speeches like that at 100 business school graduations, goddamn.
Like, the motherfuckers really do sound like this. We didn't have any billionaires come, but we had a lot of millionaire guest speakers in my classes, and they fucking talk like that.
