things I did today:

finished up this Super Bowl Ad Homework (it was really easy and kind of boring)

read for around forty five minutes, whenever I could (almost at 50% of this long ass book)

speaking of, studied for the protein synthesis quiz for like an hour and a half, might do another half an hour as of 11:00 pm

did a bunch of hardware stuff for my robotics team

I did my presentation for my science project (it's about environmental oncology, pleaseeee rb or something if you wanna hear more about it), I think I did good on it. my friend said it made half-sense to her, so that's more than enough.

bonded with the future CTO of my team??? idk

need to sit down and structure the next act of my book

good things today:

got confused in bio class, but I fixed it when I studied for the quiz tmrw

absolutely dominated in APHUG due to my extensive history and political nerdiness, it was SO fun, we were talking about supranational organizations

drank matcha. ended up not having milk, so I had it in a little espresso shot cup and it actually tasted really good.

hung out with my baby sister, she's actually half-ok with writing now but she's also four

FINALLY CONVINCED MY PARENTS TO WATCH FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER WITH ME IN HONOR OF CAPTAIN AMERICA BRAVE NEW WORLD (I am being queer baited, yes, but still)

had ice cream

also some views from my backyard. winter may nearly out-do spring in the mid-atlantic this year. that is, however, if we manage to avoid synchronous online schooling.

so the deadline for missing assignments in this class is tomorrow, and i have, pretty much EVERY SINGLE ASSIGNMENT FROM THIS QUARTER TO DO

and one of them is a 40 PAGE PACKET

its not that i dont know the material, i just dont turn shit in (i have a 102% in assessments and a 9% in assignments)

and my procrastination adrenaline/stress isnt kicking in yet

and i still need to like, study for the exam, cause the APHUG exam is on tuesday 😭

ok, so this is kind of what I did in the past two days but whatever. it snowed yesterday, so this is my second day of asynchronous homework.

THREE DIFFERENT DELTA MATHS, no joke, on functions. they were actually kind of fun but I still have beef with them

all of my media literacy work

my wonderful bio teacher (she's actually great, just gives too much work) gave me around three hours of work for her class.

CADded for my robotics team, fastened the entire intake assembly BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE SCREWED UP THE INITIAL FASTEN FROM MONDAY😭

Big day in Gooseville, I have gotten a lot done

I have officially finished jade winglet! I substituted Carnilian for Peril since Peril doesn’t die in the first book, and I’ve kept the Winter period cramp pose since I’m too lazy to change it.

On to another topic I have finally started working on the stickers! I am about half way done with touch up but I won’t be able to work on them till next week since I do not have photoshop at home 🥲.

Also whilst I was drawing Umber in my aphug class a kid just leaned over and said “that’s tough as hell” then leaned back and went back to his work, I’ll take it as a compliment.

HELP THE SIGIL WORKED?!

OKAY SO I WAS IN FRENCH CLASS AND I WAS BORED RIGHT so i made a little sigil and i think it was like "my grades are good" or something along the lines of that and i had an aphug exam today that i had to take on my computer. so i took my pencil and lightly sketched the sigil so it would just kinda not be visible but it would be there and i finished the exam and I THOUGHT I FAILED WITH A 62 BUT THEN MY TEACHER COMES UP TO ME? AND HE'S LIKE "congrats you passed with a 92!" OH. MY. GODS. IT WORKED. IT WORKS

i can't remember the EXACT wording i put into the generator, but this is what it looks like! i don't know if you're supposed to share sigils around, but this one worked quite well for me today so i thought i'd show you the shape of it in case you need help with your grades :)

going thru a gender identity crisis but i’m going have to put off discovering my gender identity because it is aphug season hahahaha (totally not dying inside hehe)

Remember, whoever you are, you are fantastic and valid. Don't let it worry you too much right now, you'll figure it out and you'll be amazing no matter what. Give yourself the space and freedom to experiment, make bold choices, and even to be wrong.

In my journey with my gender identity, I have learned that so much of it is about confidence and self love. You can't truly find yourself until you give yourself the space to explore without worry. While studying for something as big as an AP exam can add unwanted stress, it can also provide an opportunity for practicing confidence and self love. Support yourself, remember to believe in yourself. These habits translate to other areas of your life.

You are going to do great.

You obviously care about this exam.

Be proud of how far you have come, and when the test scores come out, remember to not only recognize the number on the screen, but your journey, your learning, and your resilience.

When you feel comfortable about addressing your gender identity, take pride in that too. It will work out.

No matter who you are or how you do, you are going to be okay. Let some of that anxiety slip off for a moment and remember that. I believe in you, you've got this.
