I’m doing load in for the light tech for a musical tomorrow and I’ve never done any of this before and I literally know nothing about lighting tech. Does anyone have any info to help me? Cuz I never do well learning things quickly under pressure so I’m kinda scared

Hey I don’t know if this already happened butttttttt:

- make sure you have a magic sheet (ask someone, it probably exists somewhere)

- write down what the important buttons do as you go (this really helped me)

- try to get there early to spend a few minutes learning the board

- go through the script or whatever and write down light cues so you already have a general idea
