things I did today:
finished up this Super Bowl Ad Homework (it was really easy and kind of boring)
read for around forty five minutes, whenever I could (almost at 50% of this long ass book)
speaking of, studied for the protein synthesis quiz for like an hour and a half, might do another half an hour as of 11:00 pm
did a bunch of hardware stuff for my robotics team
I did my presentation for my science project (it's about environmental oncology, pleaseeee rb or something if you wanna hear more about it), I think I did good on it. my friend said it made half-sense to her, so that's more than enough.
bonded with the future CTO of my team??? idk
need to sit down and structure the next act of my book
good things today:
got confused in bio class, but I fixed it when I studied for the quiz tmrw
absolutely dominated in APHUG due to my extensive history and political nerdiness, it was SO fun, we were talking about supranational organizations
drank matcha. ended up not having milk, so I had it in a little espresso shot cup and it actually tasted really good.
hung out with my baby sister, she's actually half-ok with writing now but she's also four
FINALLY CONVINCED MY PARENTS TO WATCH FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER WITH ME IN HONOR OF CAPTAIN AMERICA BRAVE NEW WORLD (I am being queer baited, yes, but still)
had ice cream
also some views from my backyard. winter may nearly out-do spring in the mid-atlantic this year. that is, however, if we manage to avoid synchronous online schooling.

Beverages can be such a comfort thing to consume, when you’ve got very few things that give you comfort. Some people drink tea, some drink iced coffee… the fit people that love their body LUV water
But for me… my obsession is redbulls mixed with a dash of Sprite & ice #𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘦

I was so anxious today even tho i was on top of my self care slash mental well being basics check-list... I suspect it was the caffeine on top of already worsening anxious Symptoms
#it was def that combo bc i did everything else right#i was weirdly calm for the first 15 mins of my commute this morning and then it was all downhill from there fr#i got so self conscious and anxious after that and then in class i stuttered twice and seemed so unsure of myself even though i was#otherwise communicating quite coherently and fluidly#and then after class at the coffee shop where i attended my online lecture i was so on edge#i think the matcha latte just added onto the shot of espresso for the worse#which is strange because thats really not a lot of caffeine? i literally had two shots of espresso the other day and got really hyper but i#didnt want to die about it or cry about it#so yeah ^_^ its probs bc the past two days have been rough so it snowballed#also i had a weird moment on my commute home#i was so nostalgic bc it was all warm and rainy and the sky was a warm grey#but then i was so melancholy i wanted to cry#and i swear in that moment i felt like something earth shattering was happening to me because i was so refreshed by the memories of a past#self but it all felt so strangely tragic. i didn't just feel happy. i felt happy and then distraught#and i probably looked like a fool because i cant control my facial expressions as well as i used to be able to#i feel like im being dramatic again but 乁( •_• )ㄏ i have the mind of a poet or whatever the hell they say#i dont think they say that#z.post

#speculation nation#im a little freak actually so i hope my collection of new followers r fine with that#loving mushrooms is not freak material but the level that i love them kind of is#this isnt even getting into my other odd eating habits. of which i have many.#or my habit of sampling anything and everything at work so long as it's Technically edible#up to and including plain matcha concentrate and rose concentrate and vanilla paste#and hazelnut extract and vanilla extract and caramel extract and#ive eaten plain coffee beans before and in fact DELIGHT in taking the lemon ginger shots. just plain lemon juice mixed with ginger juice#ginger juice as in just juice from the ginger. not a ginger beer no just straight ginger concentrate. i love that shit.#let's see what are other things ive sampled at work...?#plain sugar syrups. always awful. hate sweet shit like that. i will still sample them tho if i get some on me#uhm. boba dough. which ive heard unprocessed tapioca is uh. toxic. but i think ours is processed?#i havent gotten poisoned from it yet! and handmade boba dough is actually pretty tasty#raw store bought boba is one of the worst tastes and textures ive ever experienced tho#which yes i have sampled that too. and spat it out bc i couldnt bring myself to swallow. awful awful awful.#it's kinda a running joke at my workplace that i will sample basically Anything#i cant help it 😭 the other day there was a lil bit of vanilla paste left over on the tablespoon#so i just went and dripped it into my mouth w/o thinking on my way to put the tablespoon in the dish area#& the employee just saw me physically cringe. drop the tablespoon at the sinks. then rush to the hand washing sink to rinse my mouth#& he was just like. 'did you just SAMPLE that????'#& i had to be like. '....yeah😭😭😭😭😭'#to b fair some months ago he saw me sample the rose extract. run to the sink to rinse my mouth#then 15 mins later. not learning my lesson. sample the vanilla extract. then run to the sink to rinse my mouth.#the vanilla extract was slightly nicer than the rose extract. bc at least it didnt make my tongue numb (like the rose did)#Flavor Shock. that shit's real man#anyways ramble post is rambles. i just dont want anyone to think im cool or anything lmfao
