Its hard for me in online leftist discussions about the cost of social programs, as all the discussion from USians is 'just cut funding to the military to pay for it'. Bit more difficult in my country where we are currently spending 3% of the budget on "Defence and foreign affairs" [source: budget 2024 ]. I know we need to tax the rich higher and make sure megacorporations are paying their fair share of tax here.

Did you know that the Pukeko, a bird native to New Zealand, has the same sized feet as a baby that it does as an adult? The feet are so big on the little chicks it's adorable
