A fatal mistake you can do as an artist who draws for a specific long time fandom is forget you can consume and get excited about new content drop as a casual fan. I am by no means saying you have to eat up literally everything as if we're starving but artistic biases can also apply. We need to take a moment to experience joy, interest & hype instead of always making a to do list on what to draw, which is difficult but so so important
This phenomenon is also called "artists who love drawing one thing only, get upset when their fav series tries to show a different thing they don't like drawing as much or at all"
