You know as the daughter of Dionysus, I wasn't expected to be sane.

"Yo D whaddup!" I lazily smirk down at my dad while dapping him up.

"How's it going favorite." He returns dapping me up with a crisp smack.

Me and him don't have the most normal relationship, but  i'm okay with that, At least it's not like daddy issues over here.

I look over to some curly blonde haired kid with blue eyes, he goes on about wanting to see his father and if Dionysus could help him.

I turn on my heels immediately uninterested, actually i was thinking bout the time i drew a dick on clarisse's forehead with a black paint marker, now that was legendary. Imagine trying to scrub a giant penis off your forehead realizing that it wont budge a inch, dessert privileges were lost, but seeing clarisse with her usual smug smile wiped off and beautiful art work plastered on her forehead, was like a full course dessert table served in front of me on a golden platter.

I walk over to the black smiths to see my friends Jake and Amy, we were known to be the outcasts, we aren't children feining over glory or some bullshit praise from the gods, we were looking for trouble instead.

"Yo Jake" I slide onto the desk he sketches his new weapons project for Amy, the daughter of Hephaestus, Jake hisself was a Hermes boy, not my proudest moment befriending one of them, but he's cool in my book.

You see we're the trouble trio, my charm mixed with Jake's amazing ability to steal and Amy's ability to craft anything we needed for our stupid ideas, we were practically unstoppable.

"Whatcha drawing?" I quirk my head to the side as he quickly scrambles his notebook closed.

"Birthday surprise, don't push it anymore, Mr. D threatened to chop off my toes and feed them to tartarus if i snitched this time." Jake shuddered at the thought of my dad threatening his life. 

"Pshh light work, i would've unleashed tartarus in your room instead" I smirk at his mouth dropping wide open.

"And there goes Astrope, always one upping Mr.D's unstable craziness, somehow" Amy rolls her eyes at our bickering.

I push my wine colored hair out of my face and into a pony tail. My sea green eyes with specks of violet in the iris trails back to Luke Castellan the camps golden boy, He defines the word glory, always trying to prove something to someone, if you asked me, i think he's a garde A loser.

"Who else is gonna carry on the legacy" I say booping Jake on the nose.

"Wow very mature of you princess" Luke rolls his eyes.

"Why thank you, I think I'm rather mature myself pretty boy."

I look over to see him slightly blush and look down.

"Anywayyys, I'm throwing a party later, thanks giving and all, who's joining." Amy takes a seat next to Jake leaning her elbows on the table.

"Why thank you for the personal invitation, but you're only throwing this party so you can scout out the new ares boy this year." I roll my eyes at her.

"And so what, the new curly brunette is fine." She says with dreamy eyes.

"Your type is brunette curly hair daddy issues and anger management." I say taking the apple Jake was eating, he prostest me with a small 'hey', but that doesn't stop me as I chomp a fat bite in the middle of said apple.

"Hands off, troglodyte. Getcha own apple" Jake huffs while snatching his apple back.

"Booo tomato tomato tomatooooo" I blow a raspberry at him as we get up to head to dinner.

Luke follows Amy on her trail like a lost puppy, everyone suspected he was whipped for her,what they didn't know was my deep crush for the boy ever since I met him, it's a horrible love triangle.

"Well if you want me to get the goods you're gonna have to distract the camps janitor." I say sitting down at the Hermes table with the three for dinner.

"Huh why?" Luke questions.

"Well Luke, Chiron find alcohol In my cabin, bad." I say slowly shaking my head.

"But if Chiron finds alcohol in the janitors cabin, he'll just think he hates his job or something." I shrug.

"So basically you're saying you hid alcohol in dito's cabin." Jake grinned at the challenge.

"That's his name?" I raise my eyebrow.

"Yeah.. what have you been calling him the whole time.." Luke looks at me crazy.

"Irrelevant.." I roll my eyes.

"So we need a plan we can't just walk into the janitors cabin and grab wine out a hiding place" Amy says munching on her celery sticks.

"Righttttt about that. I hid the alcohol there two summers ago and forgot the hiding place so we're gonna need two on watch out and two on rummage duty" I cringe.

"Astrope I should slap the living shit out of you right now. But in the fear of Tartarus and what Mr D would do to me, you are off the hook." Jake says straight faced with a finger pointed at me.

"Look here goes dito right now." Amy whispers.

"We could distract him now, then three of you can head to his cabin?" Jake said shrugging.

"How are we going to distract him." Luke says with an eyebrow raised.

I chuckle sarcastically then go straight faced looking into his eyes.

"Watch the master do her job." I say getting up from the table and turning around hitting dito on the shoulder on accident.

"OH DEER, IM SO SORR-"

I cut him off pulling a spoon out of my pocket, gripping the back of his head and pushing it to his jugular.

"ARE YOU THREATENING ME, CHUCK." I scream.

This takes everyone's attention allowing the three to sneak away.

I pull the spoon back pointing it in this face while walking backwards.

"AND DONT FORGET IT." I yell turning around so I could sprint to dittos cabins.

I slide the window to dito's cabin open abruptly falling face first onto the floor scaring the three to death.

"JESUS ASTROPE A WARNING NEXT TIME" Jake yells.

"Uhhh warning?" I shrug laying on my stomach kicking my feet back and fourth.

"How bout you get up and help look, you lost it princess." Luke says rummaging through cabinets.

"Right, check the floor I remember putting it in a secret wooden floor board that slides open." I sigh getting up looking under the bed for it.

Instead I find skimpy lace panties and diamond earrings.

"OUU EARINGS." I say dangling them by my head.

Out of no where the lunch lady walks into dittos cabin wearing a skimpy silk robe and.. I don't want to know what's under.

She clutches her heart and gasps.

"DITO GET IN HERE!!" She yells.

"FOUND IT!" Amy screams throwing the box out into the long cushioned grass.

Quick I need a distraction.

I take out my blow torch lighter and fire it over by the sheer curtains hanging by dittos bed.

"YEAH DITO GET IN HERE! SO YOU CAN WATCH ME LIGHT YOUR HOUSE ON FIRE." I scream back at her.

I look around to see Luke scramble out the window so I jump out with him and close it behind me.

Amy takes the box and run with all of us behind her we make our grand escape behind Zeus's cabin deep into the woods where a bunch of the people in on the party we're helping us by decorating.

"REALLY? LIGHT YOUR HOUSE ON FIRE ASTRO?" Jake yells at me waving his hands around.

"Well it worked I didn't see you making a distraction?" I roll my eyes.

Everyone just looks at me stupidly shaking their heads. Jake even started to boo me, followed with a train of boos.

I hop on a log pointing at them all.

To say Astrope was crazy is an understatement. To be honest I don't know how I even developed a crush on her.

It just happened, her crazy and flirty attitude just draws me in somehow. It's like a drug, you taste some and it's never ending.

Surprisingly the party so far was a success.

even after our scandalous breaking and entering fiasco.

Many people were having fun, except for Amy. The ares boy she had her eye on, and even asked out, had ditched her to talk to a pretty Aphrodite kid.

I see her and Luke talking, him resting a hand on her shoulder for comfort. It kind of ticked me off, but bros before hoes yall.

I sigh grabbing my dagger out of my holster sitting down next to Luke and her by the lake in the sand.

a couple of feet away from the party in the woods. Nobody could really see us, but I noticed her running off and Luke trailing behind her, so I followed.

"Who are we killing. I won't do kids that's a rule. BUT the rule is negotiable if the kids a dick." I say wiggling my eyebrows.

And to my success it makes her laugh, I smile putting my dagger back into my thigh holster.

"How do you do it astrope" Amy sighs looking down.

"If you mean being absolutely funny and the hottest one in the room, don't stress it comes natural babe. Ya either got it or ya don't" I smirk flexing whiling grunting.

"You see that, you seem so care free all the time, I don't know how you do it."

"I don't." I shrug

"What does that mean." Luke questions.

Amy lunges over luke to hug me tightly.

I chuckle laying down in the sand, a small tide washes over my bare feet as the full moon pushes the river.

"You know you're right princess" Luke says.

I turn my head to see him already looking at me.

"Yeah and what about pretty boy." I whisper sitting up leaning closer to him.

"About caring too much." He sighs looking down.

I frown scooting over to push some of his hair back, he leans his face into my touch. I blush deeply, luckily the moons shine wasn't too bright.

"Princess, I like you." Luke whispers to me, his hot breath dusting my cheeks.

He leans in closing in the space between us kissing me deeply with need.

The kiss was sloppy and fast. It was heavy with need, not really caring who took control, just needing an outlet for these suppressed feelings.

Laying down as he crawls on top of me. His fingers slip around my throat grabbing hold of my jaw with his finger tips, his other hand sliding up the side of my thigh griping it with such strength I knew bruising would definitely show up int he morning.

I slide one of my hands under his shirt feeling his defined stomach, the other hand snaking around the back of his head to grip onto the back of his curls slightly tugging on them.

He groans into my mouth as I push my hips up into his allowing me to release some built up tension while he marks my neck up and down with sloppy kisses and bites.

"Fuck, princess I need you." He groans panting and sweaty.

I sit up immediately taking his hand leading him to my cabin.

As soon as we get in he grabs me by the back of my thighs. I wrap my legs around his waist slamming the door closed behind us he lays me down on the bed taking no time with slipping our close off discarding them around the room.

"Are you sure about this princess" he says just when he lines up collecting slick from how wet I am.

"Morning princess" his deep morning voice grumbles out.

I sigh not really believing yesterday happened. All of a sudden I hear an obnoxious banging on my cabin.

I get dressed with Luke's hoodie and my shorts underneath. Only to open the door face to face with my father.

"Burn your house down.. really?" He scoffs.

"So you're angry?" I squint, just happy the topics not about a cute tall muscular brunette who just hopped out my window moments ago.

"Where is it." He whispers looking around frantically like someone would hear him.

"The alcohol I know you have it."

I shake my head smiling.

"Well halfway into the party Chiron busted us and took it, sorryyyyy" I say slamming the door in his face laying back down to sleep.

Ask you anything? Very well. What are the top 5 hairstyles Hunter Bad Batch could pull off?

Alright anon, buckle up, bc I went all out researching this (I mean, browsing google images pretending not to drool over men’s undercuts and top knots….anywayyy).

Hunter’s hair is thick, wavy, and mostly shoulder length. It lends itself to a variety of hairstyles and ways of styling. I kept that in mind while branching out a little bit if he ever kept it shorter or a bit longer. Also, a lot of these have short beards as well because you cannot tell me that man can’t pull off a well groomed beard.

1. All-Natural

Honestly this man looks amazing just with his tousled locks swooping over his forehead, bandana or no bandana. It takes really nice hair to have just a simple, layered, shoulder length cut look good, and boy does Hunter have that.

2. Bun/Top Knot

Any kind of messy bun, top knot, pulled back arrangement for this man’s locks is going to look good. Whether he spent some time combing them out and twisting them just right, or hurriedly pulled everything back with a hair band Omega keeps on her wrist for him just so he can get it out of his way, Hunter will look like he was born to pull off that look.

Interestingly as well, Māori hairstyles incorporated many different variations on what we call buns and top knots. I can’t show the images for copyright reasons, but google “men’s Māori hairstyles.” There are some beautiful engravings and drawings from the 1800s of them and their elaborate facial tattoos if you search.

3. Fade + Quiff

If Hunter ever decided to go a little shorter and keep up with a more aggressive styling regime, that jawline and thick hair are perfectly suited for some epic faded sides and pulled back locks on top. I can guarantee you he would chisel some nice but subtle patterns into the sides as well. Again, this would be balanced perfectly with an equally well-kept beard.

4. Swept-back

Similar to the all natural (and closest to his current style), this look keeps the layers shorter on top and lets the length sweep back with some hair gel. It could even extend into a mullet—yes, I hate to admit he can pull even that off as well 😅.

honestly not really! i have big aesthetic boards for all of them on pinterest though, so i think about Their Vibes a lot. both in physical appearance and in personality/interests. BUT! that being said, here’s some things:

for renée, i honestly do think she looks a LOT like belle. belle will always insist she sees adam in her, (usually when she scowls and rolls her eyes) but gosh, the girl looks so much like her mama. i found this young pic of emma watson one time and i was like RENÉE!!! the differences are mostly in her hair. she has very blonde hair like adam when she’s little. and it does get darker as she grows up, but never as dark as belle’s. she’s somewhere in the dirty blonde / sandy blonde / light brown limbo that lots people live in, lmao. AND renée almost Always has her hair up, like these photos. braids and buns !! belle does it a lot for her when she’s little (often putting flowers in her hair too🥰) but she eventually learns to do it on her own. (though… i think even when she’s older, she still Prefers the way mama does it 💖 it’s a bonding time for them). oh also, renée is very short :] belle is 5’5 and renée only makes it to 5’2 😔 a gene she inherited from adam’s mother, her namesake, who was also around that height. being the eldest daughter but shortest member of the family is rough, but she’s being so brave about it 💔

for juliette, i think the person she looks MOST like is actually adam’s mother! (that’s the fourth photo, harriet jones). i found this first photo also randomly on pinterest, no idea who this gal is, but it really screams juliette to me💚 juliette’s hair is long and wavy and dark brown, and it (conversely to her sister) is almost always down, because braiding and buns are a sensory nightmare for her. she doesn’t have any freckles, which is different than renée & reecy, and she has her grandfather’s beautiful green eyes 🥰 and for height, i think she’s about 5’6? maybe just a smidge taller than her mama.

and last but never least, maurice! now, the thing i know for SURE, is that he looks so much like his papa. everyone has been telling him that since he was a kid! he cannot talk to a single grownup without them mentioning to him at least once that he looks Just Like His Father. ESPECIALLY if they actually Knew adam when he was that age. which happens a lot. and in general this doesn’t bug reece at all, because his father is his hero and if i think more about that i’ll start crying.

but anywayyy i think maurice’s most prominent feature is his absolutely unruly blonde curls. it cannot be tamed!! which is actually very reminiscent of his grandfather maurice’s younger twin brothers, félix and nicolas. their hair was dark, like maurice’s, but the CHAOS of the hair, it’s all the same. maurice tells his grandson that he reminds him of them one day, and it makes him feel SO SPECIAL. and! unlike his sister, reecy actually remains blonde his whole life, just like his papa. it definitely gets a Little darker/sandier, the same way adam’s has, but he’s still much blonder than renée when they’re both adults.

that photo on the right is rudi goodman, who was the original casting for young adam! (i discuss that more here, for anyone reading who cares) and gosh, i look at that photo and i just SEE REECY. it’s crazy to me. reecy is all blonde curls and blue eyes and freckly cheeks and a big smile. he looks like this emoji -> 😁 all the time. beloved golden retriever boy. adam always insists that that is 100% belle’s beautiful smile 🥹☀️ alsoooo fully grown he’s like 6’2, which is even taller than adam, who is 6’. adam Does Not like being shorter than his son, but such is the lovely way of life 💛

So yesterday on the trip, I had strawberry cheesecake and I drank an entire pitcher of Ginger Lemon tea

a/n: this is lowkey inspired but true events, except there is no lee heeseung in my school :( I also didn’t speak to anyone but anywayyy hope you enjoy!! :)) idk how I feel about this fic but please let me know what you thought!

The first time your eyes glanced at him, you had to do a double take because you couldn’t believe your eyes. 

How the most handsome and beautiful person resided at your school and you’ve never noticed. You like to think you’re observant, knowing most of the people who went to your school, even if you didn’t talk to them. Clearly missing this boy though.  

After the bell rings, signifying the end of your first period class, you begrudgingly pack your bag, slip in your headphones, and head out to walk to your next class.

You don’t know anyone in your first period class that well, so you walk to your second period class alone, and meet your friend in the class. 

Listening to your music through your headphones, you make your way through the busy hallways of your school as all the students make their way to their next classes. Many people are walking through the halls, so you don’t even realize what you see. 

He’s laughing at something the guy beside him said, flashing that bright smile to you, and everyone else walking in that hall. You can’t help but look back to take one more glance, deciding that he is the cutest person you’ve ever seen. 

After the two seconds of admiring that mystery student’s appearance, you pass each other as you carry on making your way to your next class, going opposite ways.

You end up seeing the boy one more time that day. Walking to the cafeteria with your friend, Ryujin, you take a seat and begin talking about random things. Your eyes were merely glancing around the room, and you didn’t realize it was him if it wasn’t for that beautiful smile he seemed to always be wearing. He’s sitting with a group of boys a few tables down from you and Ryujin. 

You didn’t even realize you were staring until Ryujin interrupts you, “hello, y/n? Are you even listening?” 

You snap out of it and look at her. “Oh, sorry. What were you saying?”

She narrows her eyes at you, “Who were you staring at?” She turns to follow your rough line of view to see who you could’ve been looking at. Except there are so many students in the room, it’s hard to tell exactly where you were staring off to.

“No one. Nothing. Don’t worry about it.” 

Ryujin narrows her eyes suspiciously once again, yet drops the subject and carries on with the conversation you two were having before you zoned out. 

You forget all about the boy until the next day. 

As usual, you leave your first period class and start walking to your next period class. You notice him once again, a small smile still present on his face. He still doesn’t look in your direction, but you don’t mind. You’re completely fine with just admiring his beauty from afar. 

During lunch, you glance around the cafeteria to see if the boy is in the same spot, and fortunately, he is. However, you make sure not to stare too much, as you don’t want Ryujin questioning you once again. 

This same thing repeats the next few days. You pass him in the hall, just glancing, while he doesn’t even spare a glance in your direction. And then again at lunch, looking to make sure he’s still in the same spot with the same boys, the cute smile always on his cute face. 

You have come to accept that you had a small crush on this mysterious boy you knew nothing about, just finding him very cute and attractive. You knew it meant nothing, just a silly little crush on a cute boy from school. 

You never thought you would actually talk to him, until one day, when you were heading to the bathroom during your first period class to get a break from the class and some much needed alone time. 

The second you left your classroom, you played the music from your phone, hearing it from your headphones, and headed to the bathroom. The hallway was completely silent and empty, a complete contrast to what the hallway was like in between classes. 

With your headphones in, you didn’t hear the other footsteps in the hallway, and as you turn the corner, you walk directly into a nothing person, the both of you falling down from the harsh impact. 

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry! Are you okay?” You look straight in front of you to see your little hallway crush boy sitting on the floor opposite of you.

Your eyes widen as you realize who he is. You can feel your heart beating out of your chest.

So much for a good first interaction with him. 

He quickly stands up onto his feet and walks over to you, sticking his hand out to help you up. “I should be asking you that. You fell pretty hard.” 

Yeah, for you, you want to say. 

But you ignore your thoughts and smile up at him, mumbling a quick, “thank you,” as you take his hand and he pulls you up. “Um, I’m okay. Are you fine?”

“Yeah I’m fine,” he chuckles.

The two of you stand there in awkward silence, avoiding eye contact, for what felt like forever. You don’t want to leave, wanting to actually talk to him for the first time, but nothing was coming to your brain.

Oh, maybe you can ask for his name!

You were about to, when he interrupts your thoughts, “Well, I should be getting to class now.” He gives you a small smile as he continues to walk the way you came from. 

What the fuck. Should you call him back? 

You turn around to find him long down the hall, too far for you to appropriately talk to him from this distance. 

You sigh and continue your way to the bathroom. 

You just hope that you’ll get another chance to talk to him. 

When you returned to your class, all you could think about was that brief interaction with that boy, and how you’re about to see him again after class. 

Which came too fast, and you threw your things in your bag to run out the door in order to see him. 

Walking down the hallway, you notice him down the hall, looking down at your feet getting ready for him to pass. After a few seconds, when he gets closer, you look up at him. 

And your biggest fear happens. He looks back at you.

Not only does he look at you, but he smiles too. 

And what do you do in response? Look back down at your feet.

Fuck, fuck, fuck, what was that? 

You could’ve at least smiled back.

You look back up at him, but realize that two seconds went by too fast and you already passed him completely. 

You’ve been waiting for this moment for so long but fucked it up in a second. Two times in the same day. 

When you arrive at the cafeteria later that day, you make sure to check again to see the boy. This time, Ryujin decides to confront you.

“Okay, that’s enough, y/n,” you turn back to face her, eyes wide with confusion. “Who are you looking for? I’ve tried to keep track, and I know it’s someone in one of those tables.” She gestures to the general area where your crush and his friends are sitting.

“Oh it’s nothing,” you laugh it off, “just someone I find kinda cute. I don’t even know who he is.”

She raises her eyebrows at you, “You’ve been watching him for days and you don’t even know who he is? But more importantly,” her expression turns more serious, “you have a crush and didn’t tell me?!” 

You roll your eyes at Ryujin’s exasperation, “it’s not that big a deal.”

“It’s a huge deal! Now,” she turns back in the direction of the boys, narrowing her eyes. “Which one is it?”

You turn your head in the same direction. There are currently a total of four boys fooling around at that table. You immediately spot your crush, a cute smile adorning his lips as he laughs with the others. 

“Is it the one with brown hair?”

“Ryujin, most of them have brown hair,” you turn back to her, “It’s fine, you–” 

“Is it the one looking this way?”

Your eyes widen and you whip your head back around to look back at the table to see that he was, indeed, looking towards you and Ryujin right now. When he sees you looking his way, he sends a small smile, but you immediately turn back to Ryujin, wishing you could just disappear. 

“You dumbass! You weren’t supposed to turn!”

“You told me to!”

“I didn’t tell you to turn around! I just asked if that was him!”

“And how was I supposed to tell you without turning around?!”

“So I guess that confirms who it is then.”

You let out an exasperated sigh, “is he still looking this way?”

“No, he stopped when you ignored him.”

You narrow your eyes at her, “Whatever, let’s just forget about it.” 

So you do just that, carrying on with your lunch, not thinking about the cute boy who sneaks glances at you every so often, going completely unnoticed by you. It was also unnoticed by you the way his friends started teasing him about the fact he keeps looking in your direction. 

The next day, in your first period class, you’re mentally preparing yourself for your daily hallway walk past. If he looks at you, you’re going to say hi. If he doesn’t, no big deal. You’ll just carry on like normal. No big deal.

Except it is a big deal, because you’re getting nervous. You start to get nervous whenever it comes to him, but you just blame it on your little crush. 

The bell rings and your nerves start up again. You rush out of the room like always, hoping to see him as soon as possible. 

You see him down the hall. Okay, he’s getting closer. Closer. Closer. 

He looks your way and you make sure to send him a small smile first, and to your delight, he returns it back with his own. 

Once he passes, you let out a breath you didn’t even know you were holding, ecstatic at your first, deemed good, interaction you had with him. 

And to your delight, this continues for the next few days. You two will send each other a smile while passing each other in the hall. Then during lunch, you will each steal glances at each other, one unknowing of the other. 

You’ve been wanting to talk to him, but are too scared to. What are you supposed to do? Stop him in the hall just to say hi? Go up to his rowdy group of friends during lunch to introduce yourself in front of all of them?

You’ll stick to the smiles for now. 

All was going well, and you were pretty content with your interactions. Until, one day, Ryujin messages you, day of, telling you she isn’t at school today. 

Just great. Now you have to sit all alone at lunch. 

At least, that’s what you expected. 

What you did not expect, was your hallway crush to make his way over to you and stand by your table, staring down at you.

“Uh, is this seat taken?”

You stare up at him for a few moments, processing the fact that he’s standing right before your eyes, let alone asking you a question. 

“Oh um,” you blink a few times, “yeah! Like yeah you can sit. Not like yeah there’s someone sitting here. Because no one is sitting there, as you can see.” 

What the actual fuck are you doing? 

“I’m sorry, yes, you can sit.”

He chuckles at your rambling and you take a deep breath as he sits to calm your nerves. 

But it was no use, because once you look up at him and see his beautiful eyes staring intently at you, you feel your heart rate raise again. 

“I’ve seen you around a lot, but I haven’t really had the chance to talk to you.”

Okay, it’s your chance. You can finally talk to him. Don’t fuck this up. 

“Yeah, me too!”

Silence.

Were you supposed to say more? You’re already fucking this up.

“I’m Heeseung.” he looks at you expectantly.

“I’m y/n,” you smile back. 

Once you two get more comfortable, you fall into more natural conversation, laughing and talking for the whole lunch. You don’t even realize how much time has passed until the bell rings, signalling the end of the period. 

“Oh, I didn’t even realize how much time has passed,” you chuckle.

“Come on, I’ll walk you to your class.”

“Oh it’s fine you don’t have to–”

“I insist.”

So now you’re walking down the hall, side by side with Heeseung until you arrive at your class. You two exchange numbers before you saying bye and each going into your respective class. 

You couldn’t help but feel so giddy at the time you just spent with Heeseung, immediately messaging Ryujin about it.

She makes sure to take credit by not being at school. 

As you go to respond to her message, you get a message from Heeseung, immediately feeling excited from seeing his name pop up and going to reply. 

This continued for the next couple of days, you two texting constantly; during class, at home, late at night. 

You’ve spent all of today morning texting him, making sure to smile and say hi to him in the hallway, like you always would. 

Today, however, Ryujin is at school, so you are currently sitting with her. You’re attentively listening to what she’s passionately talking about, until someone’s presence shows up at the side of your table, similar to yesterday. 

“Hey, y/n.”

Your head shoots up as you immediately recognize that voice, to find Heeseung standing there, just like he did the other day. This time, Ryujin is currently sitting across from you, which confused you as to why he was here. 

“Can I sit with you?”

Your eyes widen, glancing down at Ryujin to gauge her reaction, “um–”

“Yeah, of course!” Ryujin cuts you off, “I actually have plans with some other friends so I’m gonna go.” She stands up from her seat, shooting you a quick smile before heading off.

You look back at Heeseung as he timidly sits down in Ryujin’s no empty seat. 

“Hey.”

“Hi.”

“So…”

“Why are you here?” you question, quickly realizing how that sounded, you correct yourself. “I mean– don’t you usually sit with your friends?” You glance back to his usual table to find his friends all staring in your direction, quickly looking away once they see you look at them. 

He chuckles awkwardly, “Yeah, I just wanted to sit with you today.”

Your heart flutters at his thoughtful words and you try to suppress the smile growing on your face. 

Soon enough, his smile falters a little and he looks everywhere but you, his leg bouncing up and down. 

“Um, is everything okay?”

“Yeah everything’s fine!” He still avoids eye contact.

It’s silent for a few moments before Heeseung speaks up again.

“Actually, I wanted to ask you something.”

You look at him expectantly, waiting for him to ask his question. He finally looks directly at you and says, “do you wanna– like would you want to– maybe–” he inhales, “do you want to go on a date with me?”

Your lips part in surprise as Heeseung stares directly at you with a worried look on his face. You break out a smile, laughing at the uneasiness that crossed over his face at your lack of answer to his question.

“Of course I will!”

Heeseung lets out the breath he was holding in while awaiting your response, chuckling a little at how fast you agreed.

“Wow, I wasn’t really expecting you to say yes.” 

You laugh, “Why wouldn’t I? I’ve been crushing on you since before we even started talking.”

He stops laughing at this and raises his eyebrows, “huh?”

Your smile drops as you process what you just confessed to, cheeks burning as Heeseung continues to stare at you with a smug look on his face. “You’ve liked me for that long?”

“Um, well, basically,” now it’s your turn to avoid eye contact, looking everywhere but Heeseung. “I used to see you in the hallway and I thought you were really cute.”

He laughs at that, and you swear it’s the most beautiful sound you’ve ever heard. “And you never talked to me? Maybe we could’ve been going out sooner.”

You huff, “fine, we don’t have to go out at all if that’s what you want.”

He quickly straightens up, “no! I want to go out. Trust me, it’ll be nice.”

You narrow your eyes, “And what exactly does nice entail?” 

The corner of his lips lift up a little, “Well, I was going to surprise you, but I guess I can just say it,” he playfully rolls his eyes as he continues, “I was going to take you out to this really nice restaurant and then I know this really pretty place by a waterfall to watch the sunset, just me and you.” 

Your heart clenches at his sweet and thoughtful words and you can feel the butterflies erupt in your stomach as you get more and more excited for this date. 

“Do you not like the plan? I can totally change it if it sounds boring or if you don’t want to go, I get it.” 

You didn’t even realize you were silent until Heeseung worriedly interrupted your thoughts. You quickly reassure him by expressing your thoughts, “No! I was just thinking about how lovely that sounds, I really can’t wait.”

Heeseung smiles at your reassurance, and as you two carry on with your lunch, your mind occasionally goes to thinking about the date Heeseung has planned for you, and you really can’t wait until you can fully enjoy his company, when it’s just you and him.

Let’s talk about MAMA 2020 pt.1

1. Hwasa’s maria performance.. omg, y’all mamamoo will never stop slaying. Like that intro had me so shocked. I’m pretty sure there was a cut for the outfit change, i don’t know shit about editing but i can appreciate good editing. Hwasa just seemed so confident, like always, her charmisa was just blasted into my face. Had me gaping the whole time. backup dancers were as great as always too. 

2. oh..my...god! Let’s get the ending out of the way. It was absolutley stunning. made me audibally gasp, jessi’s nunu nana was already a great song to hype me up but this version... I don’t know how to explain it but it kinda gave me anime opening vibes? The BGM did and her vocals with it- idk an anime studio should think about asking her for it. speaking of her vocals, beautiful, of course, live vocals are to die for. i loved how the backup dancers had masks and gloves, and they slayed as well, they all did amazing! 

3. NCT 127′s kick it didn’t have the wow factors i think the previous two did. I think they seem kind of tired, and I completely understand that, they’ve been doing promotions after promotions this whole year and i really need SM TO GIVE THEM REST. I love seeing them perform ofc, but like please they need a break. I’ve been saying this since kick it came out. But besides their health which is a big concern for me, I did really liek Mark’s solo stage,I think he did great! At the beginning, I really only heard Mark’s voice, like Johnny’s lips were moving but no matter how much I strained my ears i could not hear him. I don’t blame them for lip syncing, this is a tiring song to dance and sing to at the same time. In conclusion, give these boys a break SM.

4. Nct dream ridin ok um i do have the same complaint- well i dont really want to complain because I understand it’s hard to with hard hitting dances and light vocals- about no live vocals. Even with Jisung who was just sitting on a motercycle- which was actually something i really liked, i found it so funny to see the other 5 dancing while he’s just on the motercycle. Besides that, I think the best part was Jeno. His charisma really got to me, even tho the vocals didn’t. (I sound nitpicky, ik, but live vocals is so important to me) 

5. so i love NCT U’s From home. And I also really liked this preformance. Before I praise it, I’ll get the complaints out of the way; the background music was way stronger than the vocals and thats not what you need in a song like this. Idk why SM doesn’t want us to hear these guys voices but oh well. Second, they do look extrememely fatigued and it really hurts my heart. SM GIVE THEM RESTTT. Now the things that I really liked. The background, with nct just being wholesome, really gave me the feel of it being a performance for czennies so that was adorable. When the other members came in as well, I gasped. I would’ve prefered if they showed up on stage and then ran to NCT U and then they all saw the nanana part together but i don’t work for Sm so oh well (Sm you know you wanna hire me) anywayyys a little bonus thing i actually gasped for was Doyoung’’s visuals. I really love the eyes of a person, and I just- when i saw his eyes i gasped. And whenever the camera men went on to him I literally sighed in admiration. Also i was very sure that they were tired when i saw Chenle, who is still somehow lookin stunning. But still very tired, PLEASE SM THIS IS THE LAST TIME ILL ASK GIVE THEM REST. 

6. Stray kids victory song- havent heard it in so longg and they brought it back. In the best way. Just this whole performance was the best. Im a skz ult and ig this is kinda biased but come on. You cant say that stray kids didnt slay. Because they absolutley did. (I actually cried tears of joy watching this preformance.btw) the live vocals hit so hard, the execution was phenomenal. Just.. Wow.

so dabi (touya) is a previous figure skater

he’s a figure skating prodigy 

enji was a pro hockey player (id say figure skating but this man was BUILT like a brick shithouse idk man) has a lot of championships under his belt but doesnt even begin to touch the legacy of his one sided rival yagi toshinori

him and rei meet and marry at a young age. she like.. actually liked him then?? shit was kinda okay but things kinda.... got bad quick. the abuse etc was ... yeah. she ends up having dabi and fuyumi (they’re twins babeyy) at a young age too and kinda doesnt feel like she can get out of her horrible marriage 

we wont dwell too much on the bad part of all of this though. anyway rei was a figure skater

p well known and known for her fucking GRACE god she moved so well on the ice.

she was so beautiful and spoke through her movements and enji loved that... and so as a hockey player and with a (now previous) figure skater wife he was like aight my kids WILL take up an ice sport and be the FUCKING BEST

dabi isnt made for hockey. enji tries to get him into it but it’s... nah... fuyumi isnt the best with figure skating. she’s good!! and her and dabi do some pair skating when they’re younger but it’s.. hm. dabi is the one with the clear talent here. (fuyumi is a beast on the ice when it comes to hockey though. will dominate. but she kinda... didnt really continue with it)

enji isnt PLEASED that his son isnt gunna be a hockey player but he still values figure skating and will fucking make sure he’s the BEST at it. and so the brutal training starts. he gets some good coaches and also takes up the coaching mantle 

the thing is.. rei was amazing as a skater but her body just... wasnt really made for all of that??? and dabi unfortunately kinda inherited that. his body hates the impacts and such. he’s amazing at figure skating. he has a grace similar to his mothers but there’s something more fierce to him. 

and honestly !!! he gets far!!

also natsuo comes around. he’s a bit too clumsy for either sport and resents the fact that him and fuyumi are neglected by their father. he also loves touya and gets so pissed seeing his brother so hurt

and shouto is born and this kid was made to be on the ice. he’s skating from the moment he can fucking stand on his own.

obvs enji’s attention is split but it’s mainly on touya who is winning championships and GOING places but it’s still not good enough

anyway idk how far he goes?? but it’s the biggest competition yet and on ice mid routine he lands wrong

one thing leads to the next and he’s pretty much medically retired from a young age. he can skate. he can still kinda preform but he cant do what he used to at ALL and he cant keep up with the brutal pace enji sets. there’s a lot of trying to push him still and it’s just.. not happening

for all it’s worth dabi is kinda glad he isnt doing it anymore. but he fears for his babies brother. shouto is a natural and while yes being a professional athlete of any sort is brutal on your body, his body is a lot more capable

but like touya before, shouto is pushed to his absolute limits. bleeding and injuries and puking his guts out from being pushed too far

there’s a lotta resentment but he still pushes through w skating. 

(side note but there DEF is some todomido/tododeku w hockey player izuku who ends up being coached by THE yagi toshinori and who helps shouto out w making shit his own)

anyway so in the end dabi ends up working at a rink tho lol

it’s p much owned by shigarai and run by the lov (who in this au end up making their own little ragtag unofficial local hockey team p much and play games against other teams like them)

despite his father’s whole career, dabi does enjoy playing hockey with these dipshits

but yeah he enjoys his time working at the rink, fucking around and sleeping in random places and sometimes running the zamboni

he’s also best frenemies with shigaraki. they get along and both deal with a shitty upbringing and despite some slight animosity they both would kill if someone fucked w the other 

(also at some point dabi DEF teaches some little kid classes lol)

also dabi does sometimes skate his own routines from time to time. only when he’s alone really. though fuyumi has a pass to be there though he will gripe still

now there is a couple ways to go with this and somewhere in me there is an au with hockey player hawks who takes skating lessons from figure skater dabi BUT

i think for this au we’ll just say he was a figure skater from the get go

i think he WANTED to do hockey as a kid. like shouto he’s also a fucking natural and was skating as soon as he could fucking stand and walk. and he looked up to enji and kinda wanted to take up hockey but 

listen,,, trans hawks. who wanted to be like todoroki enji and be a pro hockey player. shit just.. didnt work like that though and besides he’s a tiny dude and god he’d be fucking obliterated 

he kinda is self taught and the ice is his escape from his shitty home life

idk how this works but listen gotta tie in the commission somehow???

he’s scouted or whatever for figure skating at a very young age and his mom is happy to take the heavy scholarships and happy to sign him over to skate for these ppl and have them push him to be The Best

and this kid is FAST. he’s fast and is insane with his jumps and stg it almost looks like he’s FLYING (which gets him the nickname hawks)

the coaches are brutal and shit sucks and a lot of the time it kinda sucks the life out of the sport but he still enjoys it

he has a love for outfits that legit have flare to them (also im thinking of johnny weir’s one outfit w the feathers but yknow instead of white they are RED) and while he does do routines to boring ass music he mainly likes doing shit different (also dabi was p much forced the whole time to do shit to that boring ass music but on his own he’d use his own music taste to skate to)

and he’s good!! he GOES places. he’s like makes it to the olympics at a young age and is one of THE youngest gold medalists for figure skating

im sure somewhere along the line him and dabi DID meet. it was at some competition and hawks was VIBRATING bc there’s ENJI and he wants and autograph and oH GOD IS THAT HIS SON??? he’s HOT. (and at this time dabi still had his red hair and like no piercings and what little ones he had they were out but this dumbass will not recognize him later on)

but god he needs to chill TF out or he will fuck up in the competition 

he hears about dabi’s whole accident and like feels for him but again it’s not like they were friends. there was more of a slight rivalry and they barely spoke if they did

but so idk like.. between seasons hawks finds himself going like nearly every day to this rink.. aka shigaraki’s rink (also sidenote but lbr it’s really run by shirakumo who kinda has to fucking herd the cats w this group)

as frenemies dabi and shigaraki share their distaste for some of these pro athletes (tho some get a pass) and kinda complain about hawks a bit tho like..... shigaraki cant complain TOO much bc of the money from hawks renting out the rink for a few hours almost every day

dabi is too gay for this shit when he actually sees hawks in action. rip him 

tbh they dont really interact tho (besides dabi telling him to gtfo the rink or he’ll run him over with the zamboni) until one day that hawks catches dabi skating

HUH? they lost the vibe with ravn’s verse. okay i guess the prechorus is alright i can hear the faintest hint of strings. the chorus... the percussions should not be like that... like idk how to explain it but the rhythm is too regular and not spaced out enough, if they were gonna do it like that it should hit a lot harder. don’t give me just the big boy (idk the english name but u know the one on the drums) and the small cymbal sound... that’s not loud enough bring out the damn gong (ok i may exaggerate but like it sounds more dancey than rock either way). uhhhhh overall though i really like the mix of the heavy guitar & strings i think that’s great and they should do that more. i can only assume onewe took care of the instruments LMAO harin u should’ve gone harder than that king i know u can...

so uhmmm for me this cb is... better than the previous one. which is sad bc it was a full album. i also liked it better than tbontb bc i felt that one didn’t go hard enough and black mirror wasn’t trying to go hard in that way so it doesn’t bother me 😭 yeah it’s not light us raise us fly with us level but it’s really good still. i can’t wait for oneus to finally release something that makes me insane but tbh? tbh? the bassline might get me there anyway. sexy bass makes me deranged and i think that’s at least a little bit relatable. still... when oneus get back to their roots in ways other than valkyrock maybe we’ll ascend to a better plane. much love 💕
