David Ehrlich, mr big shot indiewire critic, opening his Priscilla (2023) review with paragraphs about Elvis (2022) says everyhing about how Priscilla (2023) came to be. No one would be interested in greenlighting this movie if Baz Luhrmann's Elvis wasn't as successful as it was. Ehrlich trashed Elvis in his original review back in 2022 and continues to do so. He didn't get it, like at all. Anyways, yeah several paragraphs about Elvis (2022) in his Priscilla (2023) review. Hilarious.

You dont need to make renders to have your posts be appreciated! If all you do is post your screenshots, no editing at all, you're still extremely valid. If you don't feel like painting individual hair strands, adding custom lighting/shadows, learning how to meticulously edit things, I still want to see what you have to post. Some of the edits and talent I've seen on simblr is out of this world. But I feel like it's also important to have some validation for people who don't like editing, and still want to share their sims with us. Obviously renders and highly edited posts are the norm and whats most popular, but it doesent make anyone else's posts less worthy of being liked/reblogged. 💗

Shaheen: idk why it was funny to imagine his college dorm lol he uses space very efficiently also his desk is very important 🧠

Gideon: his room is so big and so empty but he’s barely home so who cares, the only notable thing about it besides the diabolical toys collection on display is the display cabinet he keeps all his medals, plane models, pictures, uniforms etc in

Yazan: yazan’s room as you know is a Dumpster 😂 it’s impossible to find anything in there and it’s never tidy, also so many posters and records + ofc drum corner

Valen: very pretty but his room is an entire house in itself you need directions to where everything is 💀 Texas king bed with a canopy, mirror above bed/on ceiling, maximalist unique decor and very beautifully coordinated color wise. Also huge portraits of himself obviously lol

it's so funny, i held like the BIGGEST nonsensical grudge against it for the LONGEST time, im talking YEARS, like it literally stemmed from me seeing Way Too Much about it from people i followed who i didn't want to unfollow so i rage blocked every single tag for it possible 😂😂 and i REFUSED to watch it on principle bc that had annoyed me so bad.

but then things kind of mellowed, and those people weren't posting about it as often, so the rage dissipated, but i still refused to watch the show, this time because i just KNEW that if i did i would fall down that rabbit hole sooooo fast, like. from everything i heard about it it sounded like it would be RIGHT up my alley. so i too was sooo stubborn about it and was like nOPE not gonna happen!!!!

but then a whoooole bunch of my friends started watching it recently and i was (lovingly) goaded into joining in and i cAVED and now i am EXACTLY where i thought i'd be — on the precipice of a BIG OL FANDOM SPIRAL, i can feeeeeeel it coming on fhsjsksk. like ik the second i catch up im gonna be kneeeeee deep in fic — reading for sure and perhaps even writing (👀) and im SURE there will be a playlist made and i WILL go on a reblog spree fjsksk like it's COMING i feel it in my bones

Really not understanding the people being mean to Yong Yea and saying he'll never be Kuroda like. Yeah that's literally why Kuroda is also still voicing Kiryu?? They haven't gotten rid of Kuroda, they've just found a new English va for Kiryu since the games are having English dubs now??? They haven't even officially recorded anything leave the guy alone.
