so my spring mc (going for jamie) is an older oc of mine, her 5th anniversary is this december, and like. needless to say, shes EXTREMELY well established. she's been a constant across several VNs, and sometimes i have to suspend my disbelief with regard to how the mcs act.

This has never been the feeling for keyframes. in fact, sometimes the canon text is so accurate to her it PHYSICALLY PAINS ME.

youve created a living, breathing cast of 2d characters and an mc i can really identify with. my partner got misassigned spring originally, but redoing it they got autumn which suits them TO A T. youre onto something with the seasonal personality thing, even if the test isnt 100% right--it's like 80% right, which is CRAAAAAZY.

“Asshole!”

Your flesh smacks the mat as your body is slammed hard. Once again, Seokjin has managed to make you look like an idiot. The gym has been closed for hours now, but he still wants to practice and make you suffer for a vendetta he has against you.

“If you fight like this next week, you’re going to be the biggest disappointment in history,” he taunts.

You lie on your back, allowing your head to loll in his direction. As he brings the water bottle to his lips, he glances over at you, catching you in the act. Quickly, you revert your gaze to the ceiling. 

As you’re focusing on the light fixtures, you curse your trainer for checking out on you and sending his egocentric son as his replacement. Someone you haven’t seen since your rookie career. The same guy that was so sure he’d hook up with you but was left in shambles when you rejected him. 

You groan and pull yourself up, feeling his eyes follow you.

“Will you stop it? You know you aren’t trying to help me.”

You don’t have anything against him, but he just irks your nerves. 

You sit on the ropes, tying your shoelaces before you two go at it again. When you look up, you find him removing his hoodie. His white loose-fitting tank does not cover any of the ink drawings covering his biceps and forearms. Again, he catches you staring, making you want to slap yourself for feeding into his already overflowing confidence.

“Then why am I here?”

You see that he’s getting into position again, so you mimic his stance. The smirk on his face only riles you up, and you make up your mind that he’ll be the one who hits the mat this time.

“One more,” he suggests. “If you can handle me.”

“Handle you?”

When he nods, you can’t help but laugh.

“You’re so full of yourself.”

“You can be full of me too if you want,” he winks.

Your mouth falls open after hearing his lewd remark. “You’re so disgusting.”

“I heard you were into that.”

“I’ll kill you!”

You get into position, and he counts down, rushing you at the final second, but this time he’s unsuccessful. He’s been relying on his strength to overpower you, but you have speed, and you use it to your advantage.

Seokjin’s back hits the mat with a thud and his eyes grow wide when you straddle him. He’s too shocked to move, but he can’t anyway because your thighs are squeezing him tight.

“Aw. That’s the same face you were wearing when I said I didn’t want your number,” you tease. “It hurts to take a loss, doesn’t it?”

“Get off me.”

His tone turns bitter, and you relish the moment of his defeat.

“Do you really want me to?”

He almost chokes. “Uh..”

“Uh?”

“Not really,” he gulps.

You can feel his palms starting to sweat as you pin his wrists to the mat.

“Well, tell me where I should sit.”

“Maybe a little lower?”

You lift a brow, smirking as his face begins to turn red.

“I think I know what you want, Seokjin.”

You drop your ass right on his crotch, drawing a whimper from his lips.

“I can handle you. But can you handle me?” you quiz.

The bulge growing in his pants presses against your center, piquing your curiosity more and more. Your thin spanks don’t provide much of a barrier, so you can feel everything.

Though you aren’t fond of Seokjin, you are interested in knowing if the “good reviews” are accurate. You can’t tolerate his large ego, but when he’s turning into a puddle beneath you, he’s more enjoyable.

“I was made for this.”

“Oh.”

You release his wrists from your grasp and place your hands on his broad shoulders. The first thing he does is touch your thighs and his slender fingers begin to explore your skin.

With your weight smothering his cock, you glide back and forth, using the friction to stimulate your clit. Seokjin bites back his moans, not wanting to appear worked up so easily but you make it your priority to make him lose control quickly.

The man is annoyed but agrees and leaves the room. Seokjin grabs your arm before you can rush and gather your belongings.

“This isn’t over,” he mutters.

You pat his chest with a smile.

“I never said it was. Meet me in the showers?”

“You don’t have to tell me twice.”

“Well, you should go get it ready while I grab my shit, yeah?”

He nods. “For sure.”

Seokjin leaves the cage and makes his way to the locker rooms. Little does he know; you won’t be joining him. You pack your bag and rush to your car to head home.

You’ll tend to his bruised ego eventually, but right now, you’ll enjoy having fun with him.

- In terms of arguments you guys rarely have them but when they do he gives you the cold shoulder, you tend to ignore it until he gets needy and apologises just so he can cuddle you😭.

- Date wise he’ll do pretty much anything but I’d say his favourite is a classic restaurant date, or, since he can cook, he’ll make yous food at home and you can watch a movie together. (He gets to pick cause he made the food tho xx)

- Sometimes you can hear him singing in the shower ��, even more rare it’ll be ‘say good good good’, you always confront him after and he ofc denys it.

- His love language varies but I think its a mix between words of affirmation and quality time. He loves reassuring you when your worried, listening to you ramble and comforting you, but he also loves spending time with you.

I am continuing to run out of John + Elis Radio X episodes at a mildly distressing rate, I'm into August 2018 now and they run until March 2019. Yes there are several hundred BBC episodes after that, but they'll be different, and I've got used to these ones. The Radio X episodes are escapist, from when the world was easier. The BBC episodes are going to run through 2020 and I just can't listen to those initial months where they'll say everyone should wash their hands and make jokes about the Imagine video.

Luckily, the side project of following all John Robins' other things alongside the radio chronology will extend this a bit. Their book came out in October 2018, though I think it was written by August, so I could listen to that audiobook pretty much any time now and call it in line with where I'm at in the radio show. I'll get on that soon.

Also, I've reached the radio episodes in which John Robins is telling us about filming his digital television internet-based quiz show. Specifically, he's telling us about the production company hiring someone to buy him new clothes, because he's not allowed to wear Queen-branded or brewery-branded t-shirts while presenting a show on Dave. I was looking forward to this radio show letting me know what happens to a comedian the year after they win the Perrier Award (I'm aware that it wasn't actually called that when he won it in 2017, but I cannot be bothered to look up what it was called in any given year), and now I know. Apparently it's extending a tour to the point where you develop different medical ailments every week from the stress of traveling and at one point turn up to a radio show an hour late because you forgot you were recording, and they give you a digital television internet-based quiz show for which they buy you new clothes that do not advertise breweries or rock bands. It sounds very glamorous.

I've referred to it as a comedy panel show before, because for some reason I thought it had comedians as guests. I've just looked it up and learned it actually features members of the public, like a regular quiz show. And that sounds quite bad. I didn't have terribly high expectations anyway, but this has lowered them. Sunil Patel's all right, though. I mean, I think he's all right as a comedian. Don't know what he's like on this TV show, haven't watched it yet.

But I've got it downloaded and I think I'll get into it this weekend, as I've reached that point in the chronology. I looked up the Chortle review, and its opening paragraph is exactly what I imagined this show would be, based on the synopsis:

This next bit of condemnation comes off as significantly harsher, just because it could function fairly accurately as a description of John Robins' broadcasting/comedy style as a whole, and not just being about this one quiz show that I assume John Robins does not hold up as his greatest artistic achievement:

Sick burn and everything, Steve, and you do have a point that John Robins' habit of going into a vaguely Partridge-inspired voice can sometimes blur the line between parody that works and just actually doing a thing that doesn't work. However, that is some harsh criticism coming from someone who doesn't know how to put a period at the end of a sentence. Maybe learn to use punctuation first, Steve, and then you can talk shit about digital DJs who watched too much Alan Partridge when they were growing up, and possibly base just a touch too much of their persona on ironically imitating that.

Actually, that sounds all right. I enjoy watching John Robins at once try to embrace and stay at arm's length from things. Maybe it won't be so bad.

I think I will start watching this show this weekend, I'll let you all know if it's terrible. Or, tell you what, I'll let you all know if it's good. I don't need to report on it every time I expect something to be bad, but watch it anyway due to my brain's relentless drive toward completism, and it meets my expectations. If it surprises me, I'll definitely let you all know.

hello my love! i am fairly knowledgeable on the subject of autism as i did a lot of my own research before pursuing it further, but i don’t exactly measure up to a diagnosis from a specialist. that being said, if you suspect you’re autistic based on what you’ve seen and heard from autistic people, you probably are. Embrace Autism is a really good source with all sorts of articles and diagnostic references. here is a link to the RAADS-R test, which is one of the most accurate and up-to-date diagnostic tools and was used to help diagnose me. i also like the aspie quiz for the visual results it provides—this is what my results looked like:
