Hello! Maybe it's a dumb question but I was checking your insta and noticed you have a disclaimer to not use your designs unless buying a tat ticket. How does that work tho? If someone were to do it regardless there's no way for you to know.

Obviously there's no way for me to know when my art gets used without permission, and I'm sure it happens 99% of the time. But I get like 5 comments a week from people asking if they can tattoo my art, to which my answer is no, unless they get a ticket from me (aka pay for the usage fee). My art is not free to use. Of course people will steal it regardless, but anyone who has at least the tiniest good will and intelligence to know art doesn't fall from trees will pay for a tattoo ticket, it doesn't cost much, especially for someone who can afford to make a tattoo

Hmm, that's a tough question, because I want to say almost every agere blog!! It's very rare I see actual agere accounts doing something I don't like. But, this is a great opportunity to talk about some of my personal favorites!

@/dino-boyo-agere is super nice, makes really fun posts and loves dinosaurs like I do!!

@/snailsagere makes really cool and inclusive boards! They were one of the people whose content gave me the idea to make moodboards on this account!!

@/tinyowlet makes the best dni banners ever! And creates really awesome moodboards (plus he's super cool)!!

do u have a tag guide for blood & gore? idk if i should do tw blood or blood tw or cw or blood warning or just "blood". Also should I differenciate between cartoony blood, real blood and movie blood?

hello anon! sorry for the late reply i have been super busy today

if you wanted to you can differentiate between them, however in general it’s best to just tag any post which has blood in it as cw blood or tw blood, especially because people might have that tag blocked because blood makes them feel nauseous even if it’s on screen or fake blood. if it’s only a small amount of blood you can always tag it as tw slight blood or cw slight blood again just to be safe

same goes for gore obvs just tag it as cw gore or tw gore. also if something is “body gore” i tend to add that as an additional tag as well as the gore tag

I Saw the TV Glow is such a uniquely, devastatingly queer story. Two queer kids trapped in suburbia. Both of them sensing something isn’t quite right with their lives. Both of them knowing that wrongness could kill them. One of them getting out, trying on new names, new places, new ways of being. Trying to claw her way to fully understanding herself, trying to grasp the true reality of her existence. Succeeding. Going back to help the other, to try so desperately to rescue an old friend, to show the path forward. Being called crazy. Because, to someone who hasn’t gotten out, even trying seems crazy. Feels crazy. Looks, on the surface, like dying.

And to have that other queer kid be so terrified of the internal revolution that is accepting himself that he inadvertently stays buried. Stays in a situation that will suffocate him. Choke the life out of him. Choke the joy out of him. Have him so terrified of possibly being crazy that he, instead, lives with a repression so extreme, it quite literally is killing him. And still, still, he apologizes for it. Apologizes over and over and over, to people who don’t see him. Who never have. Who never will. Because it’s better than being crazy. Because it’s safer than digging his way out. Killing the image everyone sees to rise again as something free and true and authentic. My god. My god, this movie. It shattered me.

like yeah. at certain ages... let shit go. im not defending the real immature shit. im not defending the karen you're picturing. i worked in retail i hate those people too. (once somebody got mad at me because she didn't like how our winter window decor was a snowman smoking a pipe. i wish i was joking).

but men at 57 will write books about how 17 year old girls are soooo sexy. they will invent worlds where women have to be naked for "armor reasons." they will write songs that treat women as objects. people rush to defend them. meanwhile a woman at 35 will be like "heartbreak is hard, actually" or "i feel betrayed by a friend" or "i am struggling with something emotionally." immediately people will say stuff like this woman is 35 by the way. by the way this woman is SO OLD to be experiencing this. BY THE WAY.

im 31, almost 32. the other day a poet was blasted online because at her "big age", she had written a poem about feeling unloved. top comment was "this woman is 29 by the way." this woman is too old to still be useful, by the way. she has to behave better . maybe if she was a good wife and mother she could stop existing loudly, and the story could continue on without her. this woman has served her purpose, by the way. she's so cringe, by the way. at 29 - so old! - she still hasn't figured out that her existence should be one of shame.

and guys my age stop by to tell me I remind them of their aunt, of their grandmother. This is a compliment and I take it as such. They confess to having tried crochet once, and I smile. They get back in line for the bathroom.

I'm knitting in the corner at a party and a queer woman sits on the floor next to me, arranges her skirt, and smiles up at me. (I try not to blush.) She asks me all the questions on her mind about my craft and I answer them, hands still moving. We swap yarn sources. She doesn't stay, but she knows where to find me.

They pretend to be checking in on me, which is sweet, but I can see the relief in their eyes the moment they stop performing for a house full of people. They sit down and tell me things and all the while they never take their eyes off my hands.

The party has wound down and I'm still knitting and the hosts, two guys in their twenties, thank me for "helping to curate the vibe." I had no idea that's what I was doing. I leave the party having forgotten to drink anything and without that woman's number but with many rows added to my top-down raglan sweater. I call it a night, and a good one.

Hey, so how would I go about finding a CG?

That's a great question, but I don't know, exactly! Here's the thing, my anonymous friend, this question is not something I can give lots of one-size-fits-all advice about! I don't know your personal relationships, your age, or anything about you! However, I can give a little advice.

Everyone's journey with this is going to be different. Personally, I was lucky to find a partner who was open to the idea of being my CG, and the transition into that role happened very organically, but not everyone has that. Just like some people's CG's are their friends, and I've never had that!

How you find a CG for yourself truly depends on your circumstances. I would start by thinking about whether you can ask anyone who's currently in your life about it! I say this because you already know the people around you, and I want you to be as safe as possible. I know feeling lonely sucks. I felt the same way for a long time, and having someone be there when you regress is great, but you need to be safe, too.

And if there isn't anyone in your current personal circle you want to be your CG, I advise having a lot of caution if you look for someone online!! I'm serious!! Especially if you're a minor!! I don't want you to be afraid, but I want you to be vigilant with this.

If you go the online route, we have a great agere community here on Tumblr, and engaging with other regressors and CG's is a great place to start! This is a relationship dynamic that requires a lot of trust, and in my opinion you should have an established friendship with someone before asking them to be your CG. It should take a lot of trust to want/have someone to be responsible for you in such a vulnerable state!! Anyway, this is very long, so I'll stop here. I wish you lots of luck, friend!

I’m glad with the art and for the amount of pages I made in such a relatively short time span -w- page 5 was super fun to work on.
