I didn't originally plan for this to have pastel colors but I think it turned out all right. And I wasn't gonna add the complicated updo but it seemed lacking to just have Anya have her hair pulled into a bun in the back when she's wearing a kimono. I think Yor would braid Anya's hair when it gets longer since she fssh it in Ch. 87. Anyways, the reference is under the cut.

This was supposed to be an April Fools' Day post, but I got busy and missed it 🫠 I like how it turned out so I'll post it anyways.

There were a bunch of outfits of other characters that I wanted to see the Forgers wear (I also got an excuse to draw skinny Bond with this), so that's what I did.

I recently learned that using the eyedropper in Ibispaint picks the same exact color from your reference picture so you can use it in your own fan art. I keep forgetting to draw Anya's horns when it's her signature look in the series so I had to do them in Paint when I realized I forgot them as I was coloring this. Anya's eyes looked weird in the beginning I guess but now not so much because I got to step back to see the art work?

I do wish someday that Tatsuya Endo will draw Anya in overalls.

"Warm" Uncle Yuri

Greetings! As you can see, this time's treat is a fan art for the behind-the-scenes images of the Spy × Family Musical cast which I drew the canon characters into the images instead.

For the photos above, I prepared a brief comic where Yuri and Nightfall plot a plan to fulfill their personal aims alongside the help of Anya. I personally thought it matched well as all of the stage actors for Anya, Yuri and Nightfall are involved in the original behind-the-scenes photos. (Although the stage actress for Nightfall cannot be seen here, she was in fact, the one who filmed the instagram reel!)

These are inspired by the photos posted in the socials of the stage actors for the Spy × Family Musical (Aoi Ikemura as Anya Forger, Tsubasa Takizawa as Yuri Briar, Nonoka Yamaguchi as Fiona Frost/Nightfall). Side-to-side comparison below:

I had enjoyed doing this work a lot! The interactions on and off stage are very heart-warming, so it's essential to merge this chemistry into the canon characters.
