Yet to see the UN condemn Hamas for the video of Hamas graffiti marking Gazans beating them with batons, then leaving them tied up and blindfolded — because the civilians had tried to access food aid at the humanitarian warehouse.
Instead, UN officials claim the canard “targeted starvation campaign”, yet there are over 1,150 trucks still waiting to be collected at Kerem and Erez Crossings. Commercial trucks have armed guards riding atop, the UN should do the same and stop blaming Israel.

Is there a law that anti-Zionists have to be incoherent, abusive, and delusional?
Does @scourge-of-god realise that most of the Middle East was colonised... by the Arabs? That the genocide in the Middle East has been committed... by the Arabs? Syria killed 500 000, but the Arab League decided to welcome it back just last year.
Zionism is Jewish national self-determination in the historic homeland of the Jewish people. Don't lecture people on definitions when you're blatantly lying.
In 1919, Emir Feisal wrote to Chaim Weizmann noting his sympathy for the Zionist cause and promising to 'wish the Jews a hearty welcome home'.
Look it up.
Israel has not committed 'uncountable crimes against humanity'. That's another lie, fed to you by Palestinian terrorists, who actually did commit uncountable crimes against humanity. Even the United Nations and the World Health Organization have quietly reduced their record of death tolls in Gaza because Hamas admitted that a third of its information was 'incomplete'.
That's right: you've been yelling on social media based on inaccurate information. That's what happens when you believe terrorists.
Given your gullibility, you're in no position to be lecturing anyone on how to improve humanity. You don't even have any basic decency and respect for other human beings, as you sit behind a keyboard, arbitrarily deciding other people's thoughts and deciding who should live and who should die. That doesn't accord with your self-professed opposition to genocide, but given how you swallow any PR sewage coming from the Hamas/Palestinian Islamic Jihad pipeline, perhaps this abusiveness is not surprising.
I love how every pro-pals argument when they're proven wrong is "I'm not arguing with a zionist, go kill yourself."
It's like these people never learned to have a normal, civil conversation without telling people to kill themselves...

OMG.
This woman is Arab and actually acknowledging the 1929 massacre of Hebron. I don't think I've ever come across that.
Of course she's immediately silenced, as soon as it becomes clear that she's subverting the acceptable narrative of Jews being the aggressors, but it doesn't matter. She talks about it, she tells the truth, she owns what her father did. And she's not guilty for what her dad had done to Jews, how he killed and looted from Jewish people, but the fact that she's willing to acknowledge this historical truth that meets her in a personal place, not look away from the injustice, not deny or try to reverse it, gives me hope. I do believe that this is one of the things that has to happen for our peoples to have real peace. So I don't wanna look away from her, even though she got silenced. And I wanna acknowledge that this couldn't have been easy for her, especially when she probably knew the type of response she would get. She's a bit of a hero to me now, I'm just sorry I don't even know what her name is.
For more on the 1929 anti-Jewish riots and massacre of Hebron, about how this was born from an antisemitic lie cooked up by a religious fanatic, and shaped the conflict to this day (there's a fascinating book about why 1929 is a pivotal year in understanding it all), you can see this documentary about Amin al-Husseini.

To counter what they view as a rising tide of prejudice, the HAF and other Hindu American groups have turned to American Jewish organizations, which they have long seen as “the gold standard in terms of political activism,” as Maryland State Delegate Kumar Barve said in 2003. Since the early 2000s, Indian Americans have modeled their congressional activism on that of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) and AIPAC; Indian lobbyists have partnered with these groups to achieve shared defense goals, including arms deals between India and Israel and a landmark nuclear agreement between India and the US. Along the way, these Jewish groups have trained a generation of Hindu lobbyists and advocates, offering strategies at joint summits and providing a steady stream of informal advice. “We shared with them the Jewish approach to political activism,” Ann Schaffer, an AJC leader, told the Forward in 2002. “We want to give them the tools to further their political agenda.” Shukla told Jewish Currents that the HAF continues to work closely with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the AJC, whether by “being co-amici curiae on briefs to the US Supreme Court,” or by “lending our support to one another’s letters to Congress.”
[...] Faced with rising scrutiny over India’s worsening human rights record, Hindu groups have used “the same playbook and even sometimes the same terms” as Israel-advocacy groups, “copy-pasted from the Zionist context,” said Nikhil Mandalaparthy of the anti-Hindutva group Hindus for Human Rights (HfHR). Hindu groups have especially taken note of their Jewish counterparts’ recent efforts to codify a definition of antisemitism—the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition—that places much criticism of Israel out-of-bounds, asserting that claims like “the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor” constitute examples of anti-Jewish bigotry.
[...] In 2003, Gary Ackerman—a Jewish former congressman who was awarded India’s third-highest civilian honor for helping to found the Congressional Caucus on India—told a gathering of AJC and AIPAC representatives and their Indian counterparts that “Israel [is] surrounded by 120 million Muslims,” while “India has 120 million [within].” Tom Lantos, another Jewish member of the caucus, likewise enjoined the two communities to collaborate: “We are drawn together by mindless, vicious, fanatic, Islamic terrorism.”
Driven by that sense of shared purpose, the AJC and AIPAC helped train new Indian American political groups—such as the Indian American Political Action Committee and the United States India Political Action Committee—to achieve their aims in Washington. The AJC hosted seminars on political activism in DC and New York; it also brought several delegations of Indian Americans to Israel to meet with members of the Israeli government and military. “We’re fighting the same extremist enemy,” the AJC’s capital region director Charles Brooks told the Forward in 2002.

Tim Walz is a regular speaker at the Minnesota Israel lobby where he said anyone who refuses to recognize the genocidal Israeli rape-torture entity is an "anti-Semite", just recently said he fully stands behind Israel's rape and genocide of Palestinians, and wants the Zionist lobby to write the curriculum on Israel and Palestine to erase Palestinians from existence. He literally wants to indoctrinate and brainwash children in school into Zionism and anti-Palestinian genocidal racism. He said that explicitly. He wants to teach kids to hate Palestinians and support their genocide. That is fucking insane. This guy is a fucking deranged freak. And they're memeing him into an epic based radical.
Tim Walz is a fanatical deranged fully owned Israel lobby plaything, exactly like Kamala Harris, and Shapiro, and all the other Democrats. There is no difference in policy that is going happen with these fucking freaks in charge. They're identical to Genocide Joe. Anyone who says otherwise with bullshit coconut memes is lying to you.
They are liars, intentionally lying to you, and pretending like there will be any difference. There will be no difference. Both will keep supporting the genocide of Palestinians because they're owned by the Israel lobby like John Mearsheimer just recently reiterated. As he says, without the US, Israel is nothing. It is beset with crises and on the verge of collapse, but the US keeps bailing it out with endless weapons, funding, and their own military moving in to protect this rape-torture death-cult masquerading as a society.
They will allow Israel to do whatever it wants, because it is Israel Uber Alles for these genocidal Zionist scum.
The only thing that has a possibility of changing it is when Palestinians, Arab and Muslim Americans and all those who oppose the genocide in states like Michigan say explicitly that they will not vote for Genocidal Zionist Queen Kamala Harris and Tim Walz unless they right now, at this very moment, make a policy change. Not bullshit abstract rhetoric and promises, right now. Now.
Don't buy the bullshit about "well she's just VP now, she has no power but she and Walz get in they will suddenly become epic and based and stop the genocide, just vote for them!" She is the head of the Democratic Party as the nominee she can force Genocide Joe to take a position if she wants to rescue her Presidential campaign and announce her own explicit policy of stopping funding, arms and diplomatic and military protection to the Israeli rape-cult. If she chooses not to, it means she is fine with losing and sticking with the Israel lobby.
I want you to reflect on just how unbelievably deranged the Tim Walz position of "we need to change the curriculum to brainwash our children into supporting Zionist genocide of evil Palestinian sub-human barbarians" is. His main selling point is "I was a high school teacher!", and he's endorsing pushing genocidal propaganda onto children to get them to support genocide. Holy shit. This by itself is disqualifying. Just change the context. Imagine he said: "All these people who oppose the Russian war on Ukraine, they're all brainwashed by TikTok and Twitter. We need to change the curriculum and you, the Russia lobby in the US, will have to change it for us, so we can brainwash our kids into supporting the war on Ukraine." Or even more absurd because it's difficult to even imagine it: Say he said it about Israel. Reverse the order: "All these people supporting the genocide of Palestinians are doing it based on propaganda from the Israel lobby and Zionists. We need to change the curriculum in schools to ensure that our children will learn the true history of the Nakba and the genocide and rape and massacre of Palestinians by Zionists and oppose it." He would not only not be VP, he would not be a dog-catcher in Minnesota, even though this is actually true. This curriculum would actually be based in actual history and not deranged Zionist propaganda. But he said it about Palestinians. He said he wants the genocidal Zionist Israel lobby in his state and every other state and country on earth to determine the curriculum of what children are forced to learn. Because his policy is not state-limited, he's expressing a universal view there about what he believes is best to teach all children everywhere. Tim Walz wants every US state and country on earth to let genocidal Zionists write their high school curriculum such that the rape and genocide of Palestinians is made justifiable by Israeli propaganda about how pristine Saintly white European Zionist Jews came to an empty desert land and made it bloom and then those fake Arabs made up their Palestinian identity to kill them because they're by their nature evil sub-human monsters. That's the Israeli Zionist narrative that Tim Walz wants every child on earth to be brainwashed into so that TikTok and Twitter posts of Israel beheading, maiming, massacring and raping Palestinian babies, children, boys, girls, women and men will be acceptable to them. They'll see it and go: "They deserve it, my high school teacher taught me they're evil barbarian terrorists." Tim Walz wants to dehumanize Palestinians through mass universal brainwashing of children so that their rape and genocide is made justifiable to them. This is utter madness. This guy is a fucking deranged and depraved monstrous freak. Holy shit.

The US does support Israel for ideological reasons, and there is an evangelical and zionist movement that supports it for ideological and religious reasons this is true, but there are also very clear material interests involved. Israel is an eager and hungry buyer for the US military-industrial complex. The incredibly expensive gold-plated F-35 fighter jets are bought by Israel to bomb defenseless refugee camps and targets all over the Middle East. And those are only the most expensive and notable example. All sorts of weapons, from "crowd control" (read: police brutality) to munitions for all of Israel's extremely expensive military systems are bought from the US and ocassionally other militaries (though the US is by FAR the largest seller) in multi-billion dollar contracts.
There is BIG, BIG money in supporting Israel, big fat contracts, incredibly delicate and complex supply chains with lots of people involved. And of course, these military-industrial corporations get practical testing of their weapons when they're openly used by Israel, which the US can use to refine its own military. There are also a lot of other material benefits the US gets by supporting Israel, from intelligence in the wider Middle East to using it as a base to implement US interests in the region from the economic to the political and access to a high-tech economy completely aligned with their interests (all of course, supported by the US and the Israel apartheid system)
When we see the US bending over backwards to support Israel, it's not that they're controlled by it like dumb anti-semitic conspiracies, in fact, it's Israel which is dependent on the US: Israel is a VERY useful asset to the US, in a very real way a gigantic military base for the US and a way to support with money and "experience" its military-industrial complex which it uses to implement Usamerican interests around the world. Israel even does it too like a tiny United States, selling weapons and training militaries and police around the world.
All Usamerican presidents have in one way or other supported Israel, even if Biden's administration is exceptionally callous and fanatical on its blind support for it. But Biden, Trump or whoever, the material interests I've mentioned are still standing. It will take a lot of effort to dismantle them, but it needs to be done, for the freedom of Palestinians and in that way too, the freedom of the rest of the world, because what is done in Israel is what is later used by the US military and its allies to enforce the current imperial system. Always keep in mind this, behind the suffering we see today there is a lot of racist supremacist ideology and human cruetly, but also and more importantly, geopolitical reasons and hard cash. This is not done because of sheer evil, even if the results are indeed evil by any measure of the word. It's done because of the cold logic of empire, and we must understand it to bring it down.

CHILLING REPORT FROM HOLLAND'S Prime Minister Geert Wilders
Every word in this paper has deep thought-provoking effects.
Dear friends,
Thank you very much for inviting me. I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself. It is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States was the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.
First, I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe. Then, I will say a few things about Islam. To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem.
The Europe you know is http://changing.You have probably seen the landmarks. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration. All throughout Europe, a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighbourhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It's the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders, if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corners. The shops have signs you and I can not read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe . These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe , street by street, neighbourhood by neighbourhood, and city by city.
There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe . With larger congregations than there are in churches. In every European city, there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule. Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam , Marseille, and Malmo in Sweden . In many cities, the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighbourhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.
In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims. Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear 'whore, whore'. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.
In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin . The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.
In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels , because he was drinking during the Ramadan.Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya , Israel . I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization. A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live.
San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.
Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate.

These pro-Hamas terrorist supporters claim to be "anti-war" and want a "ceasefire," while celebrating a (failed) attempt to eradicate Israel from the face of the Earth. Meaning, they're as "anti-war" as Antifa is "anti-fascist"; they're in favor of war/fascism when they do it.
These crazed fanatics support the brutal Islamic regime of Iran. You remember, the one that the citizens had an uprising against when Mahsa Amini was murdered. At the time, even the most left-wing ideologues finally got around to condemning the regime, albeit with the caveat that the fault lies with the regime, not with Islam, and scolded us not to be "Islamophobic" about it.
Now, far-left western terrorists are shouting "Allahu Akbar" and cheering for the same regime, having decided their goals line up with those of a far-right fundamentalist theocracy.
Given they're chanting "Allahu Akbar," any claim that this isn't about Islamic supremacy is completely dishonest. These people need to be removed from our societies before they destroy them and turn them into Islamic hellholes.

Netanyahu just sacked Yoav Gallant, Israel's Defense Secretary (with hints he may soon fire the IDF Chief of Staff and the head of Shin Bet, Israel's mighty secret police), and this is an excellent opportunity to say something about Netanyahu's role in the great scheme of things.
Two things I have been saying consistently for the past year: Israel will only escalate, and this is its demise.
I want to add one very crucial layer of meaning to this, regarding Netanyahu's role in exposing fully the face of liberal Zionism.
One of my earliest posts going viral on this platform was a retweet of an image showing the impressive size of big anti-Netanyahu protests. I said something like: don't be fooled. Everyone you see in this picture will put on their IDF uniform tomorrow and resume their role in the genocide.
And I was proven so unbelievably right. No conscientious objection was registered in Israel throughout all this. Zero.
And that's what I refer to as Netanyahu's role, in this context. He leaves those people no cover. No shred of deniability or dignity. They are exposed fully,
-
You see, that demographic, made up predominantly of Ashkenazi elites, had a million trillion chances to say no. To change course. They never did.
They always chose to walk hand in hand with their supposed political rivals - the religious rightwing crazies. Always. A-l-w-a-y-s
-
They could have said 'enough' when it was clear Israel did not mean to pursue the two-state solution, and was using the time it was given by falsely pretending to work at it to deepen and expand the apartheid and the settlements. They continued to serve and defend.
They could have said 'no!' when Jewish terrorism in the West Bank, and the occupation, became more and more violent and crazy. They continued to serve and defend.
They could have, should have, refused after the march of return with its abominable mass sniping of innocent people. They continued to serve and defend.
They could have voiced serious doubts and issued serious demands after, or during, previous Gaza operations - each gradually more murderous and fanatical. They continued to serve and defend.
They could have stopped after the first week of genocide. The second. The third. The first month.
The first 1000 dead children.
The first 10,000.
The first attack on a hospital.
The ISIS-like destruction of Al-Shifa.
They had endless reasons and causes to say 'My conscience does not allow me to do this anymore'.
Instead, they continued providing pilots to carpet bomb the entirety of Gaza, and economists and statisticians to handle the starvation, the prevention of medical care, and the ethnic cleansing, spokespeople to defend it, generals to plan it, computer scientists to streamline it, and elite soldiers to mask it as daring military activity.
-
Step by step. the mass murderer, may his soul rot in the deepest dungeon of hell for all eternity, peeled every maska and facade they ever had, going with them on a mutual journey of demonic insanity, straight to hell.
Now no one can back out anymore. They have made it all the way through to the other side of humanity. There's no going back.
Netanyahu does not need to even fake-cater to them anymore. So no residual sanity will be allowed to remain. He knows they can't escape anymore. They are forever mired in his psychopathy and craven bloodlust.
-
As I wrote a day or two ago: Israel is facing its mightiest foe in Iran after having its reputation thoroughly ruined, and with its population no longer able to hide under the slightest but legitimacy. And its elites already know they have been defeated, humiliated, and devoured by Zionism's absolute worst incarnation. They are going to war under the banner of a demon, fully unmasked, and they know it, and can't do anything about it anymore. They are just as bad and evil as he is, and he is the worst of humanity.

There was something abominable in France that took place just two weeks ago or so, and just as it happened everybody was speaking about it - but now due to the fucking elections nobody speaks of it again. And given French news rarely reach out to other countries, I'll leave this horror below. Because it actually is the culmination of two of the current festering and massive problems that have been on the rise in France since a very, very long time.
On one side: the growth of antisemitism. Yes, a lot of it was rekindled and awakaned recently due to the Israel-Palestine war, and the left-leaning movements' of France sternly opposed the actions and deaths caused by Israel - only for the extreme-left to have it all slip into "Zionist=Jew" and "French Jews are the same as the Jews of Israel", and "All of Judaism is responsible for Israel", resurrecting the old far-left antisemitism ; but antisemitism was already on the rise long before that, with regular antisemitic defacings and vandalizing, and the return and grow in power of both neo-nazi groups and fanatical small groups of Catholic cults - and as I posted before we have Russian agents literaly spreading oil on the fire by putting antisemitic tags on memorials and putting anti-Jewish signs on the walls.
On the other side: the problem of the misery, violence and cruelty of today's youth. It has been attested and documented since the last dozen years - violence, criminality and inhuman actions have been slowly sliding into younger people and younger generations. The gang wars are involving much more minors than they ever did, and caused the death of more kids than before. Drug dealers are using younger and younger helpers, "assistants" and "right-hands" each year. Teenagers and kids have been proven much more influenced and sensible to terrorist propaganda and religious fanaticism - causing many problems in schools of all sorts, ranging from the breaking of the laicity principle to actual murders. Youth is becoming the stage of atrocities of all sorts.
And when you have these two growing evils conflicted together? You get this.
A teenage girl of the city of Courbevoie, who was out to go join a friend of hers, was lured by three teenage boys into an isolated area, where she was brutally beaten up and then violently raped, all while the three boys threatened to kill her and used antisemitic insults. The teenage girl was indeed Jewish, and the reason she could be lured like that is because she knew one of the three boys from her school. They didn't kill her however, and she could return home. Her mother was already worried, since the girl hadn't come back home at the hour she was planned to return and had already called the police. When her little girl, wounded and sobbing, returned to her, she called back the police to report the attack and the rapes.
And you know what is the more shocking thing?
The age of those involved. Because they are not actually "teenagers". They are pre-teens. The girl who was raped and beaten up? She was 12 years old. And her three attackers? Two of them were 13, the third one was 12. They were arrested and yes, when asked by the police, they did confirm that the reason they organized this was for "revenge" - because... the girl had not openly told the other kids at her school that she was Jewish. They perceived this as some sort of offense or insult, or as the girl attempting to "hide" the "truth", and they decided to "punish" her she had to be beaten up and raped. So she would know what it costs to be a "dirty Jew" (dirty Jew being one of the several insults they threw at the girl while raping her).
Of course everybody is in shock - but more importantly, every is at lost because the judiciary system was NOT made for 12 years old rapists...
A lot of people joke that we are currently living in a "Clockwork Orange" world but honestly... sometimes yes, when you look at the hyper-violence today... I mean come on, 13 years old boys RAPE a 12 year old girl and try to kill her because she is Jewish! There is really something sick

How Israel Lost the Information War
Yesterday I was listening to a news program on the radio while preparing dinner. The host asked his subject – I don’t recall who it was, probably an opposition member of the Knesset – this question: how can it be that world opinion has become solidly anti-Israel only a few months after the worst pogrom since the Holocaust, in which more than a thousand Jews were murdered in the most brutal fashion imaginable, in which hundreds of women were raped and children tortured to death? The predictable and stupidly self-serving political answer was that it was the fault of the Netanyahu government, which had “mismanaged” the war. But what is the correct answer?
The real reason is that Israel, while successful in the “kinetic” aspects of the campaign against Hamas, has been overwhelmingly defeated in the less visible theater of information warfare.
The roots of this defeat go back decades. There was as yet no “mismanagement” on the day after the Hamas invasion, when there was an outburst of anti-Israel demonstrations and attacks on Jews around the world while the rampage was still continuing in parts of southern Israel. The ground was prepared as far back as the 1970s, when a wave of Arab petrodollars, guided by the Soviet KGB, flowed into a massive project of psychological and diplomatic warfare against the Jewish state. It wasn’t so difficult for them – the built-in antisemitism of the West, temporarily suppressed after the Holocaust, found a new outlet. It was easy, too, to nurture antisemitic elements in the Muslim world. In the West, the educational systems were infiltrated and subverted, starting with the “best” universities and continuing down to textbooks and curricula for elementary schools. A reality-inverting identification was made between Zionism and Western colonialism and racism, benefiting from both the anger of the formerly colonized and the guilt of the colonizers.
Funds for anti-Israel initiatives also came from the network of charities associated with George Soros, starting around the beginning of the 1990s. This money nourished many of the NGOs and human rights groups that became centers of anti-Israel propaganda, and continues to support them.1
In the diplomatic realm, the invention of the Palestinian Refugee after Israel’s War of Independence (a war of national liberation in which the formerly colonized Jews fought Arab proxies of the British Empire!), provided Hamas with the troops it needed, fed and educated to the point of fanatic hatred with Western money. Hamas combined the multi-faceted indoctrination against Jews and Israel, pioneered by the PLO after Oslo, with religious jihad. Both the West and the Muslim world were primed and ready to blame Israel for the murder, rape, and pillage of her people. And the great-power rivals of the US, Russia and China, were only too happy to join in the take-down of what they see (correctly?) as an American satellite, an outpost of the US in an important zone of contention.
Given the fertile soil, the propaganda offensive of Hamas and its supporters when Israel counterattacked blossomed into a worldwide flourishing of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish expression. The Palestinians, who have developed the technique of exploiting their supposed victimhood, sometimes by exaggeration, sometimes by invention (as in the alleged shooting of the boy Mohammad al Dura in 2000, probably the most blatant yet effective “Pallywood” production ever), and sometimes by deliberately putting their people in harm’s way, pulled out all the stops. Soon the horrors of October 7th were drowned out by the suffering of the Gazans affected by the war that their leaders had started. Western media and humanitarian organizations slavishly repeated Hamas propaganda about civilian casualties with proforma disclosures that their only source was Hamas.
Mismanagement on the part of Israel also goes back decades. It includes overdependence on the US and consequent weakness in the face of pressure from unfriendly administrations, inability to overcome wish-fulfillment illusions about Palestinian motives and plans, weakness in the face of domestic pressure (for example, the release of more than a thousand imprisoned terrorists in return for one kidnapped soldier), and the tendency to prioritize internal political issues over serious external threats. A very serious failure has been our sporadic, inconsistent, and poorly funded actions in the information arena, while our enemies have implemented a long-term, carefully planned and meticulously executed campaign.
Al Jazeera, began broadcasting in Arabic by satellite in 1996, and since then has added multiple languages, including English. Based in Qatar and very influential in the Arab world, it has been in the forefront of anti-Israel propaganda ever since. In wartime, it specializes in inflammatory stories and photos of “atrocities” allegedly committed by the IDF (pictures from Syria and natural disasters are sometimes used). Left-leaning Western media, like the British Guardian newspaper have always followed an anti-Israel line; and the BBC is far from impartial. More recently, mainstream media in the US like the NY Times and Washington Post newspapers, the NPR radio network, CNN, and others – staffed by the products of “good” universities – have become more than merely biased: at their worst (which is often), they are mouthpieces for Hamas. Pro-Israel media in the West are rare and marginal. Some of Israel’s own media – in particular the English edition of Ha’aretz, which is widely read throughout the world – is only slightly less toxic than Al Jazeera. Israel is overwhelmed on social media as well, in part by botnets, but also by individuals and anti-Israel NGOs which dedicate staff to this function.
The combination of governments, international institutions, NGOs, media, academic institutions, and the arts all promulgating the carefully nurtured myths of Palestinian victimization and Israeli malevolence have overpowered Israel’s woefully inadequate attempts at a response.
In short, Israel has been and continues to be outgunned in the realm of information warfare. There have been sporadic attempts to improve the situation, but the funds for such a massive undertaking have never been available, nor would there likely be agreement on precisely what the message should be and how it should be presented. And we don’t have decades to lay the groundwork and gradually uproot the deep-seated antisemitism and hatred of the state of the Jews that has developed over time, even if we knew how to do it.
The best strategy in the face of this defeat therefore will be to depend on the human tendency to cheer for the winner: to be the “strong horse” that everyone bets on. Israel will need to defeat its enemies on the physical plane, to humiliate them and strike fear into the ones that are left. Rather than a picture of “responsible citizenship” that the world has been conditioned to disbelieve, our image should be that of a violent and dangerous player. In an environment where we can’t create warmth, we should at least inspire trepidation.

what do we do in the face of indoctrination and bigotry like this, when it's being taught to small children in the United States? https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6rUBp-LjRc/?igsh=NGhpeXNldWFpOWNm - this is so terrifying tbh :(
Nonnie, you're right. :( This is truly petrifying.
What's so horrifying is of course that kids that age do not have the required tools of knowledge and critical thinking to make an informed decision on this, they basically have no free will here, they're being used to promote someone else's political agenda.
instagram
I wish I had more details, because I do think there's a difference between an "educator" organizing an event like this, and a parent. If it's the former, parents might be approached to stop this indoctrination and exploitation of their kids, especially if it was done without their consent or their own full understanding. If it's a parent doing this to their own kid... :/ That's harder to deal with (and so much worse in what it means for the kid).
Education is always a touchy subject. Every parent, every educator, wants to give the kid they're responsible for the set of values they truly believe is the most important one, and in that sense, there is always a degree of indoctrination involved in education, or even just in parents passing on their own culture and heritage (and with that, its values, beliefs and mentality) to their kids. Good parents and educators allow the kid to eventually choose their own path, even if it's very different to theirs (and there's a question of what's "very different" and what's "actually immoral" when a kid chooses another set of values), however the path they choose for the kid to begin with is always one without any free choice on the part of the child. Even trying to avoid teaching them a certain set of moral values ends up being a moral choice, made entirely by the parents or educators.
But when it comes to a subject that's purely political, does not directly entail these kids and their families, their people or their culture, and requires so much knowledge that even most people who live this conflict are still unaware of many of its facts, this is just pure indoctrination and exploitation to boost the adult's political ego and agenda, and I imagine at least some of those kids might grow up to resent having been used this way.
I guess that's my biggest hope in that sense.
The millions of German kids who grew up with openly antisemitic parents, who were sent to the Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth), who were even at a certain point recruited to fight for the Nazis (some allied soldiers reported having taken captive German kids as young as 8. Many German teen soldiers actually got quite a reputation for being brutal fighters, because they were so much easier to mold into fanatics when it came to the Nazi cause), some of them probably grew up to be adults who still believed in that hateful ideology. But some of them, or at least their own kids, were able to step back, and realize what was wrong with what the adults of that generation did, so they ended up denouncing their own parents or grandparents. That's not easy to do. It's true that that did require to a great degree the universal condemnation of the Nazis and their antisemitic, genocidal crimes. But it IS possible.
The biggest problem we have right now, is that the condemnation of the antisemitism in the anti-Israel movement is not yet universal. There are enough people still buying into the lie that it's "anti-Zionism, not antisemitism," despite all proof to the contrary. And I'm scared of thinking what would it take to make it into a universal condemnation. Especially since not even the atrocities of Oct 7 managed to make people realize how heinous it is to support Hamas. I can only hope it wouldn't take an actual second Holocaust. But I do believe in the capacity of people, even those that adults invested in brainwashing them, to eventually step back, and realize that they were a part of a hate movement, meant to demonize, harass and persecute Jews. To be ashamed of that, to denounce it, and to do what they can to make up for it... Every young German person standing by Jews today, at our time of need, is living proof of that.
So yeah, one day these brainwashed useful ignorants might wake up, and look with horror at what they have enabled and the antisemitism they were guilty of spreading. If not, their kids or grandkids might look at them with shame. Let's hope it's the former rather than the latter. But most importantly, let's not stop working to spread the truth about this wave of hatred and how harmful it is to Jews (and as extension, to non-Jews involved in this conflict as well), by speaking up wherever we can, and try to help get a step closer to that day when the condemnation of this hate is universal.
Thank you for the ask, and please take care of yourself during these scary times! xoxox

"Simon Schama in the Financial Times, Oct. 13, 2023:
"Confronted with enormity: murdered infants, abducted grandmothers, slaughtered villagers, lusty chants of 'gas the Jews' at the Free Palestine demonstration in Sydney, mere words feel like weak carriers of so much horror and sorrow. Journalistic bloviation on the cause of this and the effect of that seems an indecency, at least until the bodies are gathered and returned to families. So context me no contexts, analyse me no analyses, suspend your partially informed diagnoses; leave off your strenuous efforts at even-handedness. Let us be, to grieve, rage, weep; say the mourners’ kaddish.
"Perhaps images, then, not words? Of terrified young people who in a trice went from dancing to frantic running in a futile attempt to escape the spray of bullets; of a kibbutz dog shot as it emerged from a house (that must have helped Free Palestine); a young woman with bloody marks staining her sweatpants as she is bundled away by captors; a knife lying on a sofa in the kibbutz Be’eri, where 10 per cent of the population were killed; or visual evidence of 'resistance' like the video of Mor Bayder’s murdered grandmother uploaded by her killers to Mor’s Facebook page.
"Sympathy, for the moment, abounds, for as the writer Dara Horn pointed out in the title of her unsparing book of essays, People Love Dead Jews; living ones, especially should we have the temerity to defend ourselves, not so much. There is, rightly, sympathy too for the Palestinians of Gaza who are also victims and prisoners of Hamas and do not deserve to be punished for the wickedness perpetrated by their fanatical tyrants, nor for the delusion that the deaths of Jewish families will make Israel disappear.
"We do not disappear. But we do suffer. The great Columbia University historian Salo Wittmayer Baron spent his career inveighing against the fatalism of what he called 'the lachrymose conception' of Jewish history. I myself have made an effort to go with the positive: to celebrate the poetry, music, religious and secular literature of the diaspora; to think about Jewish history with the human smoke of Auschwitz blown away by time and education.
"But this now seems an idle hope. From reports all over the world in the days following the massacres last weekend, it is obvious that the spectacle of dead Jews can still excite, rather than restrain, antisemitism.
"Apparently it still needs saying that Zionism is not the cause, but the consequence, of perennial, dehumanising, antisemitism. The massacre of Jews not only long predates Zionism but is a constant fact of diaspora existence. Jews were attacked and exterminated in both the Muslim and Christian medieval worlds: six thousand butchered in Fez in 1033; thousands more in Almoravid Granada in 1066; the entire community of York in 1190. A friend of mine, currently in Spain, tells me almost all of the rarefied intellectuals she has encountered have been adamant that the victims were to blame, which, given the murder of thousands of Jews in 1391, is a bit rich.
"Nor was this persecution really about religion. Survivors who converted were, for all their professions of Christian faith, still tortured and burnt alive by an Inquisition suspicious that their blood was too impure for salvation. So Jews have been murdered for being too separate and murdered for being not separate enough. They were killed in vast numbers by Cossacks in 1648; by Russian pogroms in the 19th and 20th centuries. In 1899 an anti-Dreyfusard journal asked its readers what they would like to do with Jews. The responses were enthusiastic and ingenious: use them as targets for new artillery, turn them into dog food and, needless to say, gas them.
"In the face of lethal peril, help has been conditional. Children were rescued by the Kindertransport on condition of being separated from their parents, many of whom they would never see again. A conference on 'refugees' was held in Bermuda in 1943, when the Final Solution was known, basically on condition the word 'Jew' was never mentioned. It was this lose/lose situation that moved Theodor Herzl, the father of modern Zionism, prophetic about a coming annihilation, to insist that in the end Jews must count only on themselves for their protection.
"That core Zionist article of faith collapsed last Saturday, not least because of the Netanyahu government’s obstinate refusal to listen to Israel’s security chiefs, who warned him that the safety of the country was being imperilled by policies that were dangerously divisive. Whatever the immediate unity of the country, his days as prime minister are numbered and his legacy will forever be this catastrophe. But that inevitable departure will not staunch the tears, bring back the dead or heal the trauma. And should there be a ground invasion, innocent Palestinian and Jewish lives will pay a terrible price, not that Hamas cares about either.
"But Israel will survive, revive. If only because, even in this dreadful extremity, one text from Deuteronomy, 30. 19 lies at the indefatigably beating heart of Jewish history:
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, a blessing and a curse: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live."

A lot of leftist Israelis (including and especially those that oppose the occupation), me included, are in shock that the international leftist community had this reaction to October 7th. That they're not demonstrating any kind (or very little) empathy to the Israeli victims, that they're turning against Israeli leftist that held the belief they stood in it together.
@screamingfromuz suggested it was because of the tokenisation of Israeli and Jewish leftist - this kind of solidarity facade that they used to put up was instantly gone. Which is probably the biggest factor for their shock, but honestly i never really experienced that kind of solidarity. This kind if lack of support didn't really catch me by surprise.
I think that instead, the reason why other Israelis and I are so shocked, is because we are genuinely incapable of rationalising why would someone be so apathic, cause we never experience anti-Semitism. The only antisemitism we know of is historic antisemitism and fanatic islamist antisemitism. Because while Israel is a whole-ass shit show in many other accounts, it genuinely succeeded in being a safe haven from western antisemitism.
I do not know what Racism But For Jewish People is like. Sure, i know what it is, and sometimes i can tell what it looks like, but i cannot tell what it's like to have experienced antisemitism, from either end. I do not know what it is like to hold antisemitic beliefs and biases, i do not know what it's like to have a hatred for this specific group of people, and being hated like that is inconceivable to me.
How are you supposed to come to the realisation that the only reason someone isn't willing to care about your tragedies is because they hate you for a feeling you never had to be familiar with?

He also didn't mention disabled people, but I wonder why? Maybe it's cause he was giving examples? He wasn't listing every single type of person persecuted at Auschwitz, he was getting the point across that it was a terrible place where millions died and suffered at the hands of the worst ideology of people to ever exist in mankind's history, but you're angry that he didn't mention the blatantly obvious? He's a Jewish man, who uploads Jewish centred content, who is devout to his faith, and you're surprised he comments predominantly about Jews at a place where a literal million Jews died simply for their faith? It's a video about the holocaust, which happened to Jews, where he went during a war which has many people becoming more anti-Semitic, as can be seen in the comments. "Since when Jews care about anyone else?" playing into the whole 'greedy Jew' stereotype, gotta love it. "They lie, steal and deny other suffering" not anti-Semitic whatsoever, and totally not factually incorrect, it's not like the state of Israel had some of the most solidarity with Americans following 9/11, and it definitely wasn't Israeli intelligence forces that helped track down terrorists and bring them to justice.
Calling a man a fanatical zionist for loving the country in which he has many friends and in which is the holy sites of his faith and the representation of his faith, while he still holds immense love and gratitude for the country he lives in now, is ridiculous. Sure I'm not the biggest Ben Shapiro fan I don't agree with all his statements but practically calling him a heartless greedy Jew is just blatant discrimination and hate based upon faith. If you disagree with Ben, don't throw in every single Jew and assume they're all horrible, and don't hate a man for listing why the holocaust was bad. God..
