tokyo ghoul characters as fighting game archetypes
kaneki - main character, so he must be a basic rushdown/all-rounder. easy to use and a great way of introducing someone to the game. one of his moves is its own character and puts him in a tier above his actual tier rating (high tier move on a mid tier character).
touka - the classic shoto. kagune is a projectile and anti-air, and has a funny move during melee that does obscene damage. surprisingly bulky when it comes down to it, and she's a fan favorite when it comes to spectating. mid tier.
ayato - the cooler shoto. despite sharing tools with touka, ayato leans more into melee combat, using his limbs in addition to his projectiles. fast, powerful, gets two-tapped. high tier.
rize - braindead character. if kaneki has one move that is its own character, rize's character is one move. said move covers half the screen, and its coupled with her famous laugh. her players laugh with her, of course. high tier.
arima - "carried by your character" archetype. what the fuck. meta knight tier.
eto - stance character (using her kakuja). versatile, but with a high skill floor. initially bottom tier, but then six months passed. small. secret boss tier.
amon - the grappler. slow start-up, but makes up for it with good defensive tools and high damage when he gets in there. best alt costumes in the game. high tier.
akira - zoner type. uses fueguchi one and two to manipulate the distance between her and her opponent. fueguchi one can cross the grand canyon. mid tier.
furuta - copycat character. a frankenstein of all the other characters, giving him unique strings and a vastly different playstyle from the rest of the cast. has a "coward" mechanic that scales his damage output with his remaining health. high (read: low) tier.
hinami - why are her hitboxes bigger than my household income. top tier.

I think the craziest part of Touka hate is that if she was a man, ppl would praise her. Everyone who is a Touka anti seems to criticize her for being "bitchy" or "rude" when she's literally been put in a situation where she has to teach a guy who previously knew NOTHING abt ghoul life everything she knows in battle basically. She lost her brother and her parents (in different ways). After Hinami's mother, she takes on an older sibling role for Hinami. There was a LOT thrown at her all at once. Beyond that, the anime doesn't do her character justice. The manga much better explains her actions and intentions. Without Touka, we wouldn't have the Kaneki we know. She's essential to the story and anyone who thinks otherwise is shrimply wrong I fear!! I think another reason she gets shit on so much is because she "gets in the way" of HideKane even though those two aren't even canon 😭 You're just being misogynistic atp if you hate Touka for the sole reason that she gets in the way of a ship. If you have genuine reason to dislike her, please bring forward evidence and cite your sources but otherwise please just let her live. And don't act like if Touka was a man that she would still be hated because she wouldn't! Let Touka be mean sometimes, let her show tough love, let her exist!! Touka I love you 🫶🫶
#critical touka#touka kirishima solos#touka kirishima#critical touka kirishima#tokyo ghoul#idk if i said anything or if this is stuff everyone knows already#idk maybe im crazy#if you have critique please lmk but i stand by my opinion idk

#oh my god I am finally finishing this and my thoughts havent changed I can’t#STAND Aoi. i know what they are trying to do with her character but the execution is so bad#because she shows no sympathy no development no feeling no nothing#she is just spitting information as if people talked like that and 3D chess her way through things#and it’s specially irking because I know what they are trying to do with her because I too normally overplan social situations like she does#but she places herself in SUCH a high pedestal for it and doesn’t stop to consider what she is saying that is annoying#not like I like tomozaki much I think those types of characters are kinda boring but at least he changes and develops througout#i am still missing one ep but my god I can’t stand her she would have bullied me in high school fr#and the worst part is that I am sure she will end up with tomozaki and I can’t stand them together either so manipulative and trying to fix#him like bruhhhhh#when kikuchi best girl is RIGHT there 🥲 tragic. if they do my girl dirty I’ll catch hands with anyone#lmao is this gonna piss off anyone?? Why I Think Kaneki Ken Is A Bad Character
This post is based off of both the Tokyo Ghoul Manga and it’s Anime adaptation
This has to be one of the hottest takes in all media. Kaneki Ken is the protagonist of Tokyo Ghoul, and not just the most popular character but also one of the most popular protagonists in all manga/anime. Yet I think he is a bad character. Why is this? Let’s get into it:
1. The Best Parts Of Tokyo Ghoul
Tokyo Ghoul has an excellent setting. Ishida’s art in the manga is utterly fantastic, and the visuals in the anime are too. Also the dilemma of the setting too. In Japan there is a species called “ghouls” and they look and act just like humans. Their bodies possess a specific enzyme that refuses to digest anything that isn’t human flesh. And they have weapons that they can take out their backs called kagune, and kagune is also the only thing that can harm a ghoul. And to keep their kagune going, a ghoul must eat enough. Ghouls frequently kill and eat humans for the purpose of not dying of starvation. And as a result the humans of Tokyo have created a military organization called the CCG that exists to kill ghouls for the protection of humanity. And since only kagune can hurt ghouls, the CCG remove the kagune of the ghouls they kill and turn them into weapons called “Quinque” to use to hunt down ghouls. The setting flows so beautifully from this concept, the storylines, perspectives, characters, their relationships and groups that flow so naturally from it just works so well and is completely realistic.
There are so many intriguing and loveable characters, namely Touka, Hinami, Yoshimura, Yomo, Nishiki, Amon, Akira, Suzuya and Shinohara for some.
That being said, none of these characters are a good fit for a protagonist. They each have a strong bias in regards to the war between humans and ghouls, and a more neutral position is required to really show both sides rather than the story being one sided.
This is why at first, Kaneki was a pretty good character. He was a human who was turned into a ghoul due to a series of unfortunate events. And so we had a human explore the situation for the first time. Also Kaneki was a bland and plain character. That sounds like a criticism, but honestly it isn’t. This is one of those cases where a bland protagonist actually comes in handy. All the other characters like the ones I mentioned are so full of life and flavour that a ordinary protagonist really allows their characteristics to be highlighted. Also Kaneki was a very good plot device, he bootstarted amazing character development for other characters like Touka, Hinami and Nishiki.
Then... During the Aogiri arc when he gets kidnapped... They decide to give him a character. This isn’t too bad in itself, but the character they gave him just... Wasn’t good. He was “edgy” and “badass”. And that was his entire character summarized. That also seems to be why people like him so much. White haired Kaneki is badass and violent, and people like the action man he was.
Also all the other beautiful good things about Tokyo Ghoul I mentioned, the other characters, the setting, the philosophical dilemma became sidelined to tell the story of Kaneki Ken. It stopped being a story about the relationship between humans and ghouls, and became a story about Kaneki Ken. Which is why Tokyo Ghoul is in my eyes the definition of “wasted potential”. There’s so much good stuff there, but at the end of the day it’s the less interesting stuff (Kaneki’s character) that gets the highlight and the focus, while all else is pushed to the side.
Characters like Touka, Tsukiyama and Nishiki also ended up having their characters more or less be defined by their relationship with Kaneki later on. The independent and unique characteristics they once had (Touka’s friendship with Yoriko, Nishiki and Kimi) pretty much all faded away.
Also while this is subjective Kaneki isn’t very likeable imo. He seems like the kinda guy who would fuck you over a million times unless you’re in his circle.

Likes: Tolkien, shoujo-manga, manga in general, anime, SpyXFamily, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Ouran High School Host Club, Inuyasha, Psycho-Pass, Dark (tv series), the moon, flowers, sakura (cherry blossoms), higanbana, poetry, van gogh, the stars, Varda Elentári, Yavanna Kementári, Vána, the lay of Leithian, the witcher (books, not a gamer), tolstoy, dostoevsky, war and peace, winter, a song of ice and fire, daenerys targaryen, shiera seastar, the sea, blue, pink, purple, onii-chans, ichigo daifuku
Dislikes: summer, bugs, cicadas, mosquitos, her father, jon snow, the people who make game of thrones, the hobbit movies, pushy people, people who invade her personal space, people who act all "buddy-buddy" with her even though she doesn't particularly know them all that well, abuses of power, the patriarchy, american imperialism, america, akechi mitsuhide, poor parenting/bad parents, the worldwide epidemic of sexual abusers, the catholic church (for that reason), the fact that it's 2019 and people still have to fight for basic human rights like freedom to marry whomever (within appropriate age gaps, and, of course, consent) they like, society in general, people who somehow are ignoring the massive injustices in society, the uselessness of the UN, north korea have missiles, north korea's government, the japanese government and their history of rewriting history, rise of facism and nazism sweeping across the world, again, ANTI-VAXXERS!! how fucking stupid exactly do you have to be to not understand how vaccination works in the fucking 21st century????
lmao, yeah, she's angry about a lot of stuff, basically why I put her in house mizuchi instead of toyotomi. I wonder where she gets it from, we'll never know will we? (jk, it's C, her anger comes from C, who also passes it all onto me)
Overview:
Hinami has a somewhat dual personality, though both encompass who she is, and don't act independently of each other, nor is she unaware of both sides of her personality (in essence, a long winded way of me saying she does not have DID). Really, it's more like layers, so basically like all people who adult, I'm not sure what the fuck I'm going with here, but whatever. Oh wait, a better analogy would be levels. Level one Hinami; classy, kind, friendly, she's easy to get along with, and polite and charming, can hold her tongue where needed, and speak out where appropriate. Typical high born lady with that "fuck the genxers and baby boomers, they ruined society" millennial/gen-z attitude, zillienial attitude if you will. Level two, she's dorky and nerdy, so nerdy. "You've never heard of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien? Let me change your LIFE!" This is more common Hinami, Hinami with the common folk. Level three is just a slightly more amped up version of that reserved for friends and Onii-chan's. Will also feature "petulant" Hinami, the baby who wants something and onii-chan will get for it/besties will do it with her. "You don't want to spend the next 11 and a half hours watching the director's cut of the Lord of the Rings trilogy with me? *chokes up* I thought we were friends!?!?" But level three is for Onii-chan and close friends only, easy way to find out if you're a level three; have you ever sat through an LoTR trilogy with her? If you have, you're at least a level three. Level four, aka "I'm sorry, you must be at least a level four friend to unlock my tragic backstory". These are the people she's most open with, there's generally a lot of crossover with level three friends here. Honestly, I just wanted to reference the meme. Anyway, basically, at this level of personality, she lets out all the "the world is a nightmare, I'm kind of with the sun on the whole heat death thing, humanity should be wiped out" type stuff. Also the "I hate my dad and can't wait till someone kills him" stuff.
Hinami's inherent duality is at she at once yearns for fairytale lands; once upon a dream, a dream is a wish the heart makes, a song so sad one can move the heart of Mandos himself, but, at the opposite end, she also fervently burns with desire to burn the world to ashes and remake it anew, to pass righteous justice upon all those whom have made the world the nightmare it is. This duality bleeds through all her friendship levels; but the two opposite points are strongest at level one and four, respectively. Because of her position, she is forced to refrain from stating her most extreme viewpoints in public, particularly at events, and thus when in private, can't help, but spill it all out. When she does express more extreme points in a public setting, she focuses on justice, which doesn't exactly upset the social setting in Japan, they are amongst one of few countries to not only have the death penalty, but also use it. Though, no where nearly as frequently as the United States and other countries.
Hinami can be impatient, particularly amongst her own generation/age group. She can't comprehend others in her own generation not also burning with anger, maybe not "let's tear down these walls and feast upon the flesh of the king" type rage, but how can they not burn with zeal to change the world when everywhere in the world they rape little girls and boys. Teenagers, maybe, she can understand just wanting to "yeet" or whatever, but as a person over 18, with the power to vote and change things in society, she can't handle young adults who are "disaffected". Disenchanted, sure, upset, great, but "yeah, I'm just going to ignore reality and live in my own little fairytale", she can't stand that attitude and will give an impassioned speech/shout. Everyone's experiences are different, sure, but you don't have to suffer to empathize with the innocent migrants being kept in concentration camps by the most powerful country in the world. You don't have to have been raped not to feel rage for all the people in the world who were sexually assaulted. It's called empathy, if cats can express it, so can you.
She's also got a somewhat contradictory sense of entitlement. While she has socialist-communist views, and thus, technically doesn't even believe that there should be "divine ruler" at all, she is a royalist. She is the daughter of the Crown Prince, the blood of the Emperor, and the direct descendent of Emperor Suinin and Yamatohime-no-mikoto. She can't change that about herself, nor the value it has in the world. Thus, despite it all being ceremonial, a show in essence, Hinami places great importance on the Chrysanthemum Throne, and as someone privileged enough to stand in close proximity to it, she does not allow anyone beneath her social rank to command her nor coerce her into doing anything she does not want to. For better or for worse, Japan has a divine throne, thus it is the absolute duty of whomever occupies to always place the peoples' happiness and well-being above all else. The only reason the gods made kings and queens was to protect those whom cannot protect themselves, so if you call yourself Prince by any name, fulfill your purpose (outo-sama). She doesn't necessarily act high and mighty 100% of the time, but it is part of her personality, and one of her main motivators, as well as moral centres.
Character tropes:
The Baby of the Bunch: The youngest of four children, and younger than her friend group, the majority of whom are a year or two older than her. She is the cutest of the bunch (sorry guys), and definitely could get away with anything when it comes to her onii-chan's, the at home dynamic, however, is nowhere near as cute as this trope.
Abusive Parents: I mean, pretty straightforward here, well, I guess not since the personality section is above biography, lol, oops. Well, anyway, her parents suck; surprise. Her father is, of course, the physically abusive one, definitely crosses over into the Break the Cutie trope - which applies not only to Hinami, but her elder brothers as well. Mummy dearest is more psychological abusive, because moms cut deep.
Hollywood Nerd: She's massively dorky and taught herself how to speak quenya, sindarin, and write in the tengwar and cirth scripts, plus she's a massive nerd for space and philosophy, shewill talk your ear off about wormholes and black holes and futility of time, but, she's also mega hot, no thick rimmed glasses are gonna take that away.
[seeking] A "True" Hero: Hinami herself is not a "true" hero, but rather is seeking one, though she doesn't completely believe in the concept either. It falls into her inner (sometimes outer) debates about morality and humanity; there is no one who is a true hero, who has done no wrong, will do no wrong, and will always appear to save anyone in distress. She displays a sliding scale of idealism and cynicism, she wants a better world, with true knights, and great heroes like All Might, but also believes that so long as humans rule the world, that will never come to be. She also tends to fall into hero worshipping, particularly of the fictional variety, but as well as her oldest brother. As he's not done anything "unheroic" nor "bad" thus far, she tends to view him as a real life one true hero, despite her awareness of the disappointing nature of humanity.
Scars are Forever: Presents from daddio, also psychological ones, which also are forever, but, physically, she has
Tranquil Fury: Hinami, when angry, like truly, deeply angry, when it goes beyond superficial annoyance, is cold. When it's clear that words are pointless, and debate is meaningless, she is stoic and attacks without mercy until the opponent physically goes down. Or leaves when it comes to arguments with her parents. Over the years, she and her siblings have learned it's pointless to fight back, so they maintain silent fury (and of course, their broken little hearts). However, it is possible to set her on the emotional opposite, triggering Berserker Tears as well as Unstoppable Rage.
❀ Skills & Abilities ❀
Strengths & Skills
Weaknesses & Flaws
Hobbies
ballet
reading: Hinami is a fan of a wide range of things, but her favourite genres are shoujo manga, high fantasy, and philosophy, as well as theoretical astrophysics. Her favourite writers are J R R Tolkien, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Akira Amano.
anime
flower arranging
art "freeing": She detests the whole concept of privately collecting art, it should always be free for everyone to enjoy. A favoured hobby of hers is to buy up expensive artwork at private auctions before donating it to museums for public consumption.
calligraphy
learning new languages: There are roughly 6,500 spoken tongues in the world and Hinami craves to speak them all! Of course, she doesn't, but it's also part of why she watches so much netflix. There are so many great shows in so many beautiful and different tongues, she must learn them all!
book collecting: This sort of contradicts her stance on art collections, but she loves collecting first, collectors, and special editions of her favourite authors and stories throughout history. Listen, what's the point of a diamond headpiece if you don't also own a leather-bound copy of the Silmarillion translated in Quenya?
book translating: Sometimes (usually), one has to translate Nietzche into Quenya oneself, because no one else would waste their time on that. (Yes, she has done that)
netflix
maxing out daddys' credit cards with the onii-chan's out of pure spite
Miscellaneous
Languages: Japanese (obviously), English, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Jeju, Javanese, Rukai (primarily the Tanan dialect), German, French, Dutch, Russian, Serbian, Turkish, Hebrew, Latin, Arabic, Romanian, Sindarin (fictional elvish tongue created by J R R Tolkien), Quenya (fictional elvish tongue created by J R R Tolkien), Tengwar Script (the writing system invented by fictional Tolkien Elf Fëanor, used for a variety of languages in Arda - the world, Hinami uses it for both Quenya and Sindarin), Cirth (another elvish writing system, but specifically for Sindarin, it was later adopted by the dwarves, while the Sindarin elves took on Tengwar), Dothraki (fictional language from George R R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, created for the shitty tv show), High Valyrian (fictional language from ASOIAF, but fully created for the shitty tv show). aside from her native Japanese, Hinami's favourite languages are German and Sindarin (though she favours the Tengwar script over Cirth)
Can drive a car
❀ Family ❀
Overview
Hinami is a member of the Minamoto Clan, an Imperial branch family founded in the Heian period, and with claimed ties to Emperors of Legend. As of the Royal Tragedy in 1994, Hinami's immediate family is considered part of the main Imperial family, with both her father and brother having been adopted into the Royal Household, and are first and second-in-line, respectively, to succeed Emperor Seijuro. Should her father or brother succeed Emperor Seijuro, it will mark the first time a magical person has ruled japan since the ancient days of Yamatai.
Minamoto wealth originates from investments and ownership of various shares, as they used their various stipends from their Kuge and Kazoku days wisely (those terms are explained below, but essentially different versions of aristocrat). They have since purchased numerous luxury hotels and resorts, all maintained under the family owned "Kazoku Corporation", often shortened to "KC" (taken from the first Romanji Letters), and a reference to their high born past. The current CEO of KC is Minamoto Reina (mother of Minamoto Hinami).
Clan History
The present day Minamoto Clan have a long, glorious, and arguably rather embellished history. The modern day clan claims their bloodline can be traced back to Yamatohime-no-mikoto, a legendary princess said to have founded Ise Shrine, which enshrines the goddess Amaterasu. According to Legend, about 2000 years ago, during the Princess Yamatohime-no-mikoto's 20 year long journey from Mount Miwa through the regions of Ōmi and Mino in search of a suitable location for the worship of Amaterasu Ōmikami, Yamatohime-no-mikoto encountered Miroku-no-Mino, a sorcerer of Yamatai, wandering the lands of Wa (Japan) in search of yokai (demons) and such to slay. They fell in love for a time, but all record of him disappears by the time Yamatohime-no-mikoto reached Ise, however, with her was a daughter, Tsukihime-no-Ise, who was raised as a shrine priestess. Tsukihime-no-Ise was said to be touched by the moon and Tsukiyomi (the brother-husband of Amaterasu) as she had silver hair and matching eyes. According to the Minamoto's, Tsukihime-no-Ise later departed Ise shrine to study sorcery under Empress Himiko of Yamatai, taking Kusanagi (the legendary sword of the god Susanoo, brother of Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi, and one of the Three Imperial Regalia of Japan), but legend states that Yamatohime-no-mikoto gave the sword to her nephew, Yamato Takeru, lost at sea, and then later recovered as detailed in
The Tale of the Heike
, and maintained by the royal family. Publically, the Minamoto family state that the sword was lost at sea by a descendent of Tsukihime-no-Ise, and recovered as stated in the tale, and currently in the keeping of the Monks at Atsuta Shrine in Nagoya. However, privately, they state that the sword kept in the shrine is a cursed fake, and the family has the true sword in their keeping within Nagoya Castle. As the public are not permitted to look upon the Imperial Regalia, it is impossible to determine the truth.
The Minamoto Clan, in origin, was in effect numerous branch families of the Imperial Family, as the name was granted by Emperors to members of the imperial family who were excluded from the line of succession. Also called the Genji (with the on'yomi reading of the kanji of the name - 源), the Minamoto were amongst the four most powerful Imperial Branch families during the Heian period; the other three being the Fujiwara, Taira, and Tachibana clans. The present day Minamoto Clan trace their lineage to the Seiwa Genji branch of the Minamoto Clan, founded by Minamoto no Tsunemoto (894–961), a samurai and Imperial Prince, the grandson of Emperor Seiwa, and named the branch after his grandfather. The Seiwa Genji was the most successful branch of the Minamoto's, and numerous samurai clans of the later famous Sengoku Period (also known as the Warring States Era) claimed descendent from it, and used the Minamoto name in official records. Notable Seiwa Genji descended clans include; the Tokugawa Clan (who, with Tokugawa Ieyasu, succeeded in unifying Japan), as well as the Hatakeyama and Takeda clans, who participated in the founding of Amaterasu Gakuen, while the Takeda clan also had Takeda Shingen, the famed Tiger of Kai as it's lord during the late Sengoku era. Other famed names include the Imagawa, Mori, Ogasawara, Shiba, and numerous others.
Tsunemoto had ten children, four sons with his wife, and an additional four sons and two daughters with an unknown mother. Hinami's clan claim descendent from Minamoto no Mitsumasa, Tsunemoto's second son with his wife, who married Isewara no Shirohime, the descendant of Tsukihime-no-Ise. Raised in the Ise Province (modern day Mie Prefecture), Shirohime was a talented sorceresses and shinto priestess, later teaching at Tsukuyomi-Kō, and ultimately becoming one of it's early headmistresses.
As the Sengoku era raged on, Mitsumasa and Shirohime's line of the Minamoto Clans; continued by their children Shiroyuki, Izayoi, and Yoshinobu retreated further and further into magical society, slowly distancing themselves from the quabbling warlords, many of whom used a mix of both sorcerers and hunters. Initially utilizing Tsukiyomi-Kō as their primary stronghold, they tried to turn Owari into a safehaven for the magical, as well as militarize their students to protect and fight back against the hunters, not to mention survive the general time period. After the destruction of Tsukiyomi-Kō, the Minamoto's relocated to Mikawa under the protection of the Tokugawa clan, ultimately moving to Nagoya Castle with the Owari branch after the establishment of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
What they lacked in true power, the Minamoto had name and friends, and were able to create a small magical community in Nagoya with the Owari-branch Tokugawa, despite the removal of sorcery from the central courts, Nagoya and slowly all of Owari was almost able to experience the widespread sorcery and mystical arts pre-Sengoku era. As the Tokugawa Shogunate grew ever more absolute, the Minamoto's grew ever more isolated in Nagoya, keeping to their magical peers, and handful of Tokugawa friends and family. From their time with the Owari branch, the Minamoto claim descent from Tokugawa Ieyasu by Tokguawa Yoshinao, the ninth son of Tokugawa Ieyasu and founder of the Owari branch. However, the Minamoto ultimately turned on the Tokugawa, seizing control of Nagoya Castle and Owari in the name of Emperor Meiji and the Meiji Revolution/Restoration. After the revolution, the Owari-Minamoto branch became part of the "new" social class the 華族 (Kazoku) (lit. "Magnificent/Exalted lineage"); a hereditary peerage of Imperial Japan, formed by merging the two former social classes of the 公家 (Kuge), the ancient court nobility of Kyoto, and the former 大名 (Daimyōs), the feudal lords who lost their power after the Meiji Restoration. As one of only 3 Minamoto Clans to survive past the Sengoku and Edo periods, the Owari-Minamoto were given the Kazoku rank of 公爵 (Kōshaku), ie Princes, the equivalent to a western Duke. Due to this title, the Head of the family and their consort automatically became members of the House of Peers in the Diet of Japan.
Under the new Meiji government, the Minamoto's found renewed relations with their parent House, and claim descent from Emperor Meiji, by way of Imperial Princess Sada-no-miya Tokiko, tenth daughter of the Emperor, who married Minamoto Kauzhito. However, these relations ultimately soured during the reign of Emperor Shōwa, given the various coups and conversion of the government serving the Emperor into a military one. The (then) permanent split between the Minamoto Clan and the Imperial government came with the Mukden Incident, when the Japanese Army staged an attack on the Japan-owned South Manchuria Railway near Mukden (now modern day Shenyang), and used this supposed attack as a pretext to launch a full scale invasion and the subsequent occupation of Manchuria. The truth was ultimately exposed to the world in 1932 by the Lytton Report, but the Minamoto's were aware of the truth as early as November 1931 (approximately 2 months after the explosion at the Railway), which was followed by their complete withdrawal from all government offices and return to Nagoya Castle. They attempted a coup, to remove Emperor Shōwa, and install Imperial Princess Teru (Shōwa's oldest child, then about 6 years old) on the throne, with one of their own as Sesshō (Regent) until she came of age. The aim was to demilitarize the government, while rehabiliting the image of Japan to the League of Nations, as well as bring magic back into the heart of the government. Their coup failed however, and a few Minamoto's were executed, while the rest were silently exiled from the capital, and forbidden from returning to Tokyo until his Imperial Majesty decided otherwise. This exile ultimately worked in their favour, as they were related to the Imperial Family, but without the taint of war crimes on their name.
Even after the 1946 Constitution abolished the Kazoku, the Minamoto's retained their use and style of the title Kōshaku (Prince), but did not have any of the privileges the title used to come with. However, as they did not participate in the war, the Minamoto's were able to work with the occupying government to reestablish Taishō Era democracy and build on it, though they ultimately began to despise the Pro-America government they were installing. To the day, the Minamoto maintain roles and influence in the Diet, as well as various other roles in the government, though as of 1994, the Main branch (ie Hinami, her siblings and parents) has removed itself from current and future positions, given their rise to Imperial family. In 1994, the main branch of the Minamoto's (once known as the Owari branch, and further back by other branch names) became part of the Imperial family after the Royal Incident of 1994, when members of the terrorist group, Hangyaku, placed a series of bombs in Akasaka Palace and succeeded in assassinating the immediate family of the Emperor, and many of his close relatives through the line of his father, Emperor Shōwa, though the Emperor himself escaped. While other descendents through the line of his father, and even his grandfather, Emperor Taishō, remain, Emperor Seijuro surprisingly chose Minamoto Masaomi, a somewhat distant cousin born through the line of Emperor Meiji. In the subsequent law of succession passed, both Masaomi and his eldest son, and therefore heir, were immediately adopted into the Imperial Family, aka the Yamato Dynasty, thereby dropping their surnames of Minamoto, as well as formally changing Japan's law of succestion from agnatic to absolute primogeniture, including the provision that should Prince Kousei die prematurely, the line of succession would move onto to his younger siblings, and could not skip over any females.
Immediate Family
Masaomi, Crown Prince of Japan (Kōshi Masaomi Shinnō) Father | 52 | FC: Arnold Chun
Father of Kousei, Chihiro, Kyoya, and Hinami, and the current Crown Prince of Japan, Masaomi is a talented opportunist and manipulator. Having coveted the Chrysanthemum throne since he was child, he would do and has done anything to achieve his goal. Working with Hunters and Hangyaku (an Anti-Imperial terrorist organization, more info here), he orchestrated the Royal Tragedy in 1994, leading to the deaths of nearly all the members of the Main Imperial family. Utilizing documents found by Hangyaku, which explicitly proved the Emperor and other Imperial Family members involvement and culpability for Japanese War Crimes, he blackmailed Emperor Seijuro into naming himself the heir to the throne, and his eldest son after him should Masaomi die before the Emperor.
Minamoto Reina Mother | 50 | FC: Tamlyn Tomita
Prince Kousei Elder Brother | 26 | FC: Hayashida Kohei
Chihiro Elder Brother | 22 | FC: Deng Lun
Kyoya Elder Brother | 22 | FC: Ryoma Takeuchi
Extended Family (Paternal)
Emperor Seijuro Great-Uncle | 68 | FC: Tzi Ma
The reigning Emperor of Japan, his reign began on January 8, 1989, the day after the death of his father, Emperor Shōwa (known as Emperor Hirohito during his lifetime), and beginning the current Heisei era of Japan.
Minamoto Kurumi Paternal Cousin | 21 | FC: Hayashida Miyu
Extended Family (Maternal)
Yagi Hiroyuki
Hinami's maternal grandfather, Hiroyuki was a salaryman in Tokyo, where he met his eventual wife, before the pair moved to Hokkaido to raise Reina and takeover the family business; a small osen in the town of Shikabe. An only child with no other family, the onsen was eventually sold and ultimately shut down after his and his wife's deaths. The Yagi's were not magical.
Krüger Amalie Hinami maternal grandmother, also known as "Ami" (pr. ah-me), called such by her Japanese family and friends, she was originally from Belgium, born in the city of Verviers in the Belgian province of Liège, she came to japan to study in the Daigaku program at Amaterasu, ultimately falling in love with the country, and later Hiroyuki, and thus moving to Japan. The Krüger's were and are magical, and are a rather well-off family, but while influential in Verviers, and possibly a tiny bit with the Belgian government, they're no heavy hitters. Low ranking bourgoisie, in essence.
Krüger Martha und Albert Amalie's parents, and Reina's grandparents, thereby the great-grandparents of Kousei, Chihiro, Kyoya, and Hinami. They died by the time Chihiro and Kyoya were born.
Krüger Aleksander The younger brother of Albert, Reina's great-uncle.
Krüger Edgard The only son and child of Aleksander, cousin of Amalie, and uncle to Reina, thus great-uncle of the Minamoto children.
Krüger Alois und Alain The sons of Edgard, thus cousins of Reina, and uncles of the Minamoto Children.
Krüger Leon
Maternal Cousin | 30 | FC: Andreas Pietschmann
Eldest son of Alois Krüger, and elder brother of Gisa und Engel, he's a magical archaeologist.
Krüger Giselle "Gisa" Maternal Cousin | 19 | FC: Natalia Dyer Middle child, and only daughter of Alois Krüger, younger sister of Leon, and older sister of Engel.
Krüger Engel Maternal Cousin | 17 | FC: Louis Hofmann Youngest son and child of Alois Krüger, younger brother of Leon und Gisa.
Krüger Hanna Maternal Cousin | 17 | FC: Lisa Vicari The only daughter and child of Alain Krüger,
❀ Biography ❀
Having been born after the 1994 Tragedy, Hinami was born a Prince du Sang (Prince of the Blood), though one could argue that she was born a literal Princess, but the law of succession specifically adopted Masaomi and Kousei into the royal family, with provisions for the throne to pass on to another Minamoto if necessary, but not explicitly, in order to preserve the Minamoto name, which Hinami, and her elder brothers Chihiro and Kyoya, are expected to continue. All four Minamoto children were raised with the express goal of helping their father realize his dream of obtaining the throne.

I have a lot of feelings about Hinami's later choice to join Aogiri.
How she seems to have abandoned Banjou and Touka without telling them. How she's joining a violent anti-human organization despite being a pacifist. How she's repeating Kaneki's exact mistakes.
But really, I think ultimately it was the right choice for her.
Because this was really her whole life. At home with her mom, at Touka's apartment, at Kaneki's 6th ward group. Just sitting inside, only reading books and dwelling on her thoughts. She'd spent her whole life inside, interacting with so few people, being so naive, not really living her life.
It was probably good for Hina to join Aogiri. Be on her own, meet new people, get outside, etc.
And she really did get strong and grow so much. I'm so proud of her in :re...! 🥺

touka and/or chie hori for the character asks pls pls
Touka and Chie! What a delight. (sorry about the wait. am tired)
Under the cut! I don't like taking up space.
Chie first!
one aspect about them i love
Her attitude! She's a free spirit and that's really admirable. Not a lot of people have the confidence and outlook she has to do the things she does (namely leaking CCG documents).
one aspect i wish more people understood about them
I don't do deep dives in the Chie fandom, unfortunately, so I don't think I really have anything here. I guess I wish she had more influence since she's an integral aspect of TG's overall world? Humans who aren't necessarily anti-human, but rather they clash with the "necessity" of the CCG, either through outright opposing it (she steals from them) or just overall vibes (doesn't let someone's status as ghoul or human define her opinion of them).
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character
Studied software engineering, but not in college. Turns out you don't need university to gain the knowledge that a degree supposedly gets you!
one character i love seeing them interact with
Shuu "Let's Launch a Cyber Attack on CCG Servers with Piss Poor Equipment in the 24th Ward" Tsukiyama. I settle my case.
one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more
I'd say "women" as a general catch-all, but that's kind of cheating since TG doesn't like when women speak to each other. Hm... I wonder what her relationship to Kaneki was like. Maybe it's explored in the novels, but I haven't read them, so I have no idea how they actually interact. I'd also like to see her talk to Hinami because Hinami always needs more friends.
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character
In the event she were to meet Urie, he'd ask her for photographs to give him inspiration for his next art piece, and she'd ask him for his art pieces to inspire her where to go next in her travels. Very tranquil type of relationship.
--
Now for Touka!
one aspect about them i love
Her penchant for observing and understanding the people around her. It goes hand in hand with her ability to reach out to people and form connections with them, regardless of any existing friction between them. Her conversation with Amon in re 117 is particularly beautiful, because of how she encourages him and how he encourages her in return. Kindness begets kindness.
one aspect i wish more people understood about them
Her penchant for observing and understanding the people around her! Even Ishida himself kinda forgot that part of her (or rather, he put that part of her on hold), especially after re 125. Like, the Dragon arc could have been completely avoided if she had a bigger role in the narrative, but she basically gets put on standby (despite demonstrating a proactive attitude for those she cares about) until it's too late.
Because of that standby, I think people call her personality in re cardboard, which it isn't, but it comes off that way. I actually love her more in re because she's mellowed out a lot and has matured since the original series.
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character
I think I said this before in an old post, but I think she has a stash of biology books lying around somewhere in preparation for her attendance of Kamii, a thread that never got revisited from the original series. Adding onto that, she collaborates with Kimi and the science team post-re to finally achieve that dream of hers (I treated myself when writing Holometabolism as well with this).
one character i love seeing them interact with
Again, saying "women" is cheating, but I have to say Hinami, who she ties with for 2nd favorite character in TG. Big Sister Touka is my favorite brand of Touka. Also Ayato. I love sibling interactions in general.
one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more
Kaya Irimi. This series is oversaturated with ukaku ghouls, but I wanted to learn more about Irimi after the Owl Suppression arc. Little Sister Touka would also be a good side to see.
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character
If it were up to me, I'd put Kaya and Touka in the same apartment, upon which they welcome Hinami with welcome arms. I just think the OG Anteiku crew would be a lot more close-knit than canon thinks they are. Minority solidarity, you know?
--
That's everything! Thanks for the ask

This post is for those who do not know about ableism. What is ableism, you ask? Ableism is the belief that “able-bodied people” or superior to those with disabilities. However, the definition is not only defined by the belief that only non-disabled people can living fulfilling lives, but also that disabled people cannot be strong, that their disability equals weakness, or a fate worse than death.
I have heard rumors over the last couple of days about Kakashi Retsuden カカシ烈伝 and that the fact that Naruto was sick freaked the people the fuck out. There were cries that single page out of a 200+ novel was bad writing, and now Naruto wouldn’t be able to fight Jigen.
And that it was lazy writing for an author to have a character become sick or physically weakened.
First, those who spread rumors without knowing the facts will only be disappointed and spread misinformation. Secondly, we don’t know what Naruto’s illness is. Thirdly, Naruto and Jigen haven’t even met, much less fought. Fourthly, the lazy writing argument is stupid.
I have heard this line before.
To quote Levi, “All of them, whining like brats.” Interestingly enough, the character was the focus on the “lazy writing.”
To say that Levi’s death by a suicide bomb by Zeke is the definition of stupid. Would you say that death by starvation or malnutrition is stupid, because a lot of people in the Underground died from those conditions.
Zeke was in a bind in SNK 114. He could not move, his most feared enemy had him cornered, and he had nothing else on his mind besides ending himself and Levi because of it. It was because of Levi that Zeke’s best plan was to blow themselves up with a bomb.
How is this stupid?
Oh, I know why.
People were expecting Levi to die in a blaze of glory, or against some magnificent foe that would end his life.
Death doesn’t work that way. RL does not work that way.
And people who say that Levi’s death is “stupid” and that his life is over because he probably lost an arm or a leg...
Is that really true? Someone’s life isn’t over because they lost a leg or an arm. They become part of a community that has survived despite the best of humanity to snuff us out.
Getting the “Might Guy” treatment is also ableist. Or maybe, it is simply because when Might Guy was saved by Naruto and that he was alive in a wheelchair, fans were in an uproar.
I remember it well because I too agreed. This was not from a disability standpoint, but from a medical standpoint. Might Guy should have died from the effects of the Eight Gates. His body was crumbling into ashes. The blaze of glory was not an option. Now Might Guy had to spend the rest of his days in a wheelchair.
Something in the recent anime adaptation made me admire Guy more than anyone else. In the novel, when Kakashi said that he would do anything to heal Might Guy’s legs, Guy told him,
“What do two legs matter? As long as I am by your side...”
That sentence also reflects Levi’s situation too.
If Levi had something to live for, a friend like Kakashi to live by his side, then perhaps it wouldn’t matter if he was disabled or not. But Erwin is dead, and Levi has failed to kill the Beast Titan again.
The issue is that Levi will, supposedly be “weak” because of his disability. He won’t be able to fight anymore. He won’t fulfill the fantasies that we had for him.
Death is apparently preferable to becoming weak and the abilities gone, because all people who are in a wheelchair don’t exist and would rather be dead than be weak, right?
Don’t make me laugh.
As of right now, Naruto’ s illness is unknown. Shikamaru only said. [ままじゃ、ままナルトの一生…」 It doesn’t mean Naruto is dying. The translation said, “If this continues, for his entire life...” Being sick is similar to a disability by the pity people have towards us, the underestimation people have, always.
But it does not mean your life is over. It does not mean that you are ready to roll over and die! There are less painful days and more painful ones, but that doesn’t mean that our lives are over.
Ableism in anime exists. How many times have I seen a weak (typically female) individual bedridden and unable to stand due to illness?
In The Promised Neverland, Lucas, who had physical disabilities and facial scarrs due to fighting demons and used a cane, had “a whole” body with no scarring in the afterlife as he reunited with his friends who died.
That is almost as bad as people posting pictures of Stephen Hawking walking and standing after his death.
If there is a person with a disability, there is a common trope of wanting to be cured by loved ones or the person with the disability itself. Tegami Bachi also had this trope, but Sylvette Suede was at least useful and not used as a pity devise. However, in the last chapter, Sylvette stands out of her wheelchair.
Emil, a blind girl, was an antagonist due to the abuse she suffered as a child and didn’t even get any sympathy from Lag, out of all people, for the complexity of the abuse and the town people’s history.
It not only paints disability in a negative light, but also ignores the trauma of child abuse, neglect, and emotional abuse Emil suffered through her life only to die at the end.
What kind of message does that send to people, especially children with disabilities?
Koe no Katachi is a brilliant work. It is not perfect, but the main focus is on redemption and self-love by a former bully, not on the poor life of Shouko.
In Sunset with Orihara Izaya, the main character Izaya uses a wheelchair. Some, including Izaya state that he deserves to be in the situation he is in now. However, I do not view this as ableism.
Izaya is a manipulative man with a history of observing his “beloved humans” and observing them destroying their lives. By no means, is he a good character. However, he is not a villain. Shinra, Izaya’s childhood friend, says as much.
In volume 13 of Durarara!! Izaya and Shizuo try to kill each other one last time. Shizou, using his superhuman strength, throws Izaya against a building that causes internal bleeding, a spinal cord injury, and many other injuries.
But, hey, Izaya tried to set Shizuo’s building on fire.
Eventually, Izaya is taken away by his “allies” for treatment. His wounds are massive, and it unknown if he would survive or not.
Izaya himself states that he deserves the pain. Even though his broken arms and other internal wounds are healed, it causes him great pain to stand or even walk. The author has confirmed that the pain in Izaya’s legs are psychosomatic and are from mental trauma. Two years after the final battle, Izaya’s pain has not improved, because he refuses to go to physical therapy because he deserves the pain for not acknowledging “Shizu-chan” as human. He acknowledges that he has been a coward, and that his love for humans was a selfish one. He did not get close to his “precious humans” and simply observed them. This pinpoints a reason for Izaya’s behavior and psychology.
Izaya had to raise his twin sisters on his own as a child. His parents were never around, and his “loving” father noticed with concern that Izaya was rather anti-social as a child. Simply observing humans and their behavior continued to be Izaya’s favorite hobby.
Izaya is afraid to love. He is afraid to be kind because his parents never showed him love in the first place. His sisters said they would be sad “ for a little bit before they would laugh” if he died.
Izaya distanced himself from his “humans,” cowardly and selfish, as he acknowledged years later.
However, the disability does not stop him from working. Oh, no. That is why I believe Izaya is not a victim of ableism. He continues to work as a information broker and actually helps people. Although he had some involvement in their fathers’ deaths, Izaya is the semi-guardian of two children name Hinami and Haruto after their mothers tried to kill each other and then their children. He saved them from actual death, whereas before, he would have been content to see what “his precious humans would do next” and leaving the children on their own after saving them.
At the end of the novel, a young couple was freed from bondage because of Izaya.
He even allows Haruto to spin him around in his wheelchair to the point where he falls off. He does manage to hold onto a coffee table though and transfers his body back into the wheelchair.
So, before any of you whine about lazy writing, think about ableism.

Shu Tsukiyama - A Gourmet’s Chase for a Taste of Real Friendship (Tokyo Ghoul)
“Kaneki...would never forget about me. We shall spend time together again..!! Kaneki!! Let little Hinami, Banjo, and his underlings be there too!! We’ll make up for lost time!!”
One of the most important things to get through life is close friendships. Yet we sometimes forget how fragile they can be when life hits you with a big whammy.
When you make friends with someone who gets you, you tend to do what you can to spend time with them as much as possible. Everything’s all smiles and full of roses. You wish that those days would never end. You don’t give much time to consider that those relationships may end. You feel that nothing will sever those bonds.
Once those bonds end, you assume there’s nothing left. You can’t move forward. But what if the only way to move forward was to chase the past? To go after and bring back the glory days of yore.
A certain popular Tokyo Ghoul character put the theory to the test and let’s just say it was quite a nuanced experience.
The character I’m talking about is Shu Tsukiyama - a major supporting character who was once an enemy to main character Ken Kaneki, but became one of his most vocal supporters and allies. Tsukiyama was once known as the Gourmet, as he always feasted on humans that seemed fancy and exquisite to eat. One day, he became enamored at Kaneki’s hybrid nature (being both half-human and Ghoul) and planned to eat him. Tsukiyama ends up getting killed at the hands at Touka Kirishima for his interest in Kaneki. He was later revealed to be alive as he ate parts of himself to regenerate his body completely.
Tsukiyama joins a rescue attempt to save Kaneki from the Ghoul organization Aogiri Tree and later became Kaneki’s “sword” to fight against Aogiri. Although he still wanted to eat Kaneki, he becomes much nicer than he was during his Gourmet days. When Kaneki tries to save his friends at the cafe Anteiku near the end of the original Tokyo Ghoul series, a tearful Tsukiyama implores him not to go. He becomes depressed and a shut-in at his home for 2 years after Kaneki disappears at the end of the Anteiku raid. But when he finds out Kaneki is alive and living under a different identity in the start of Tokyo Ghoul:re, Tsukiyama embarked on a renewed journey to get back the one friend he truly treasured in his life.
When you look up most advice on how to find closure after a friendship ends, almost all of the answers would tell you to process the loss and move forward. Processing the loss of a friendship is important because more often than not, they end without warning. They also end due to major differences in values brought out during conflicts. Regarding the Kaneki/Tsukiyama friendship, Kaneki cared about protecting people (regardless of whether they were Ghouls or humans) around him; Tsukiyama only cared about protecting Kaneki.
Moving forward can be just as hard because perhaps the lost friendship was everything you wanted. For Tsukiyama, he later sees that all he wanted was a friend to share his interests with. Kaneki didn’t shy away from him unlike most of the other Ghouls during their time together as an anti-Aogiri force. The two shared a similar social identity - Ghouls who have been thrown aside by others in the past, have very few friends growing up, and absorb themselves in sophisticated literature. Their first meeting was a conversation about literature. There are studies that show the most important things that makes friends the best of the best is a shared social identity, This is stronger than intimacy, contact, and support.
Is that a good reason to repair a lost friendship? To rebuild the social identity they once shared? There was a complication in Tsukiyama’s attempts to befriend Kaneki again. Kaneki was now known as Haise Sasaki, an up-and-coming CCG (Commission of Counter-Ghoul) investigator. He became the enemy of the Ghouls. This doesn’t deter Tsukiyama from wanting to bring Kaneki’s memory back (with some help from two of his actual closest friends, Chie Hori and Kanae von Rosewald) as they met up a few times to talk.
However, during one of the final few meetings between the two, Haise asks Tsukiyama if he knew Kaneki. Haise started to figure out who he really is after meeting old friends he made when he was Kaneki. As Haise continues to explain that he must know his past, a now-conflicted Tsukiyama begins to realize that telling him the truth would bring nothing but misery and pain and his love for Kaneki didn’t want that. Haise was an innocent personality that served to protect Kaneki. Why add even more unnecessary stress?
However, Tsukiyama’s actions gave rise to the eventual rebirth of Ken Kaneki inside Haise as the CCG began an attempt to eradicate the Tsukiyama family for good. Haise and Tsukiyama battle, but Haise begins to have a mental breakdown as he’s unable to kill Tsukiyama. He then throws him off the roof of the building they fought on. The two would later reunite as members of an organization known as GOAT to help bring change to Ghoul-human relations. Tsukiyama forgave the now-reborn Kaneki for destroying his family legacy. He would later stick up for Kaneki with a memorable speech (which was the background photo for a meat dish at the Tokyo Ghoul:re cafe) near the end of Tokyo Ghoul:re when members of GOAT were questioning a super-deformed Kaneki’s desires.
So yeah, you succeed in getting a friendship back. But at what cost? Tsukiyama once admitted that his ego got in the way and he wanted Kaneki back for his sake. When thinking about renewed friendships, it’s hard to remember why the friendship ended in the first place. The excitement of re-connection all blinds us to a reality where the friend may not think the same way you do. Be careful of allowing yourself to be like Tsukiyama and think things will be clear-cut.
The best thing to do is let the friendship process slowly. It was quite a while before Kaneki and Tsukiyama became Ghoul buddies again. And it’s all about timing. Touka once told Tsukiyama that Kaneki should only be back when he’s ready to come back. Tsukiyama didn’t think highly of her thoughts then, but does see his timing was wrong during his fight with Haise. Kaneki needed some space to gather his thoughts and discover his role in the grand scheme of things. The timing of Kaneki establishing himself as the fabled One-Eyed King was perfect for Tsukiyama to make a more-informed move without complicated drama in-between.
If you noticed a major theme throughout the whole “let’s be friends again” ordeal, it’s that there was so much pain on both sides. Haise/Kaneki lost his mind over seeing people he once knew and started going through the same insecurities he’s had since birth, Tsukiyama lost all of his family guardians and servants to the CCG.
I was listening to a podcast about what’s stronger than hate and whether love was the answer. The host asked a religious community figure what advice would be applicable in building love for someone who’s completely different from you. That figure said in order to build love, you need to let emotional pain be a part of who you are. Do not avoid or toss it aside. Embrace the hurt. That’s when the light that connects others start to shine inside you.
If you think about it, strong friendships and bonds are made when both parties allow themselves to get to a level where they feel hurt by the same things alongside each other. Each person chooses to experience the pain the other person feels even if they never felt it before. We all live in the same world together and can’t let our personal bias close us off. What affects someone can affect us too. We need to support each other during rough times as that’s how meaningful change happens. Tsukiyama saw this as he noticed his family was sacrificing themselves to save him the same way Kaneki was trying to save Anteiku in the past.
Kaneki’s and Tsukiyama’s wacky, tense, sorrowful, yet enduring and pleasurable relationship over the span of the years is all about using the tragedy of life’s circumstances to make better connections with those around you. Don’t shy away from negative feelings. It’s such pain and trauma that makes someone feel alive and human.
Like Tsukiyama’s obsession with fine delicacies, wounds may not be the best ingredients on paper. But pair them up with powerful ingredients like friends and they create a fine, delicious, healthy and well-balanced meal for the soul.

what would your favorite tumblr mutuals be in tg universe (human, ghoul, ccg, goat, aogiri, etc) and one headcanon about them?
@ladywongs will be like hinami, really sweet and kind. she loves books. she doesn’t fight too much, but when she does, she’s a demon. she’ll rip tou/ken antis up and share their meat with everyone else. i’ll want to be her ayato but that would mean she’s going to ignore me >:(
@arvendell will be a gourmet ghoul, but instead of having ghoul restaurants and all, she’ll just take photos of her food and send it to everyone else, especially to starving ghouls on the street who have no food.
@mawjaw @coromoor and @fangirlingforeverz will be like the kichisama fangirls, except they’re tousama fangirls and have toukachan’s face up instead.
@selinaskyel and @katsukiine will be aogiri ghouls, underlings of ayato and hinami to be specific. they’ll try to get ayato-san and yotsume-sama together but when hinami doesn’t seem to be interested, they’ll probably try to take him for themselves (jokes on the two of you though, i’m gonna eat him).
@euterpeus will be like mutsuki but instead of haise she’s obsessed with black reaper and she’s probably not violent about it. but the degree of obsession, the same. you know that panel of mutsuki thinking about haise? yeah that’s her when she’s thinking of reaper’s bara tits and bouncy ass. dear alice, i hope you find your urie one day.
speaking of urie, @sentrakk will be declaring her love for urie in her office as she strips because i’m pretty sure ishida based matsuri off her anyway. she’s human but she went to kanou for the ghoulification surgery and is now a chimera one-eyed ghoul with both urie and mutsuki’s kagunes. congrats, you’re their child.
@linkspooky is a clown. she spends her time calling people out anyway. rip to ui though. he’s gonna suffer more i suppose.
@silverbulletsama will be a human working in ghoul research because she’s really good at biology and is really cool when she write biology metas. she also has a thing for anime ossans and i think there’s a lot of them in labs. idk. she’ll probably go to church a lot just for donato.
@sianori and @thiccthighshaise are ghouls leading the an organization. it’ll be really similar to goat, except it’s called furby.
@captainhunterman with be kazuo without a doubt. his story will go exactly like that. except maybe he’s not a yoga instructor or whatever he is. instead of nishiki, he gets kicked by leila.
@vixxsin-weeb is a human but i’m sure her lover is a ghoul and they’ll have some kind of blood play thing going on or something… *cough* anzai and tsukasa as ghouls *cough*
it doesn’t matter what @harleyquilt is because she will be dead. she’ll underestimate me thinking i have a 3 inch kagune but too bad for her because even if my kagune is small, it goes zap zap like yomo’s and the voltage will fry her to a crisp and then i’ll eat her. don’t underestimate me you bitch i’m a one-eyed ghoul who’s strong enough to eat ayatokun and i will eat you too.
i’m sorry if i missed anyone out :p
I KNOW WHO I MISSED OUT I’M SO SORRY @hamliet i’m not too sure if she’ll be a ghoul or a human but either way she’ll probably set up some kind of an institution for murder children. then she’ll write stories for them and read to them. they’ll finally find love because kate is full of love and i love her a lot :D if hajime had met her he probably would still have his face and life :(
#I FEEL LIKE I FORGOT SOMEONE OH GOD WHO#IT WAS KATE#IM SORRY#if this game was on twitter i think i'd have something for charade though#what a pity :p#ah wells#stuff#answers#Anonymous

It’s really sad how people put standards on woman in TG and woman in general, but sometimes I find accounts like this where you defend these flaws and it makes me happy. You deserve better, I really hope you have a good day/night (?) but yeah keep doing what your doing :,)
Mod k:It’s really unfortunate that the fandom is like this. It was like this from the beginning but it has only gotten worse in that people who are actively anti Tou/ka are seen as correct and moral gatekeepers. Letting certain opinions go unchecked out of fear of backlash leads to this and it gets even worse. The bias is ridiculous to the point that every week people write negative meta about Touka even in chapters where she is not present and they don’t see how they are unfairly biased. Now you have people claiming all of the women (except for Hinami! 🙄) are abusive but don’t spent nearly any of this energy analyzing the toxic ass men in tg. Wild.
