Fighting and dismantling ableism and sanism targeted at paraphilic individuals

Hazard consent is against:

Non-consensual contact including with animals, children and unconsenting individuals

Contact for pedophilia, zoophilia, biasophilia, incestophilia and non-consenting necrophilia, somnophilia, inibriphilia, or anything else that can be pre-consented to. Roleplay doesn't fall under this

Attaching inherent morality to any type of paraphilia, kink or fetish or deeming something as inherently "gross", "wrong" or "weird"

I was originally hesitant to make a flag or emoji code because it's a stance and not an identity, but I've come to view it as a matter of accessibility and making this stance more well known, as I think it could be valuable for many people.

What is paraqueer?

Paraqueer is inherently pro paraphilia and anti contact. It is a term meant be used by queer paraphiles. You can only use this term if you are queer and a para.

Paraqueers understand the importance of consent and are strictly anti contact for any paras that would be nonconsensual or harming to others if acted upon. They know that children and animals can never consent.

Paraqueers know that they can be proud of their paras without harming other people, and they support other paras. Paraqueers also support recovery for those who desire it and finding coping mechanisms. They understand that thought crimes do not exist.

Paraqueers know that paraphilias do not necessarily make them queer; however, their paraphilias can interact with their queer identities.

Yes I am "anti-abuse" and "pro-consent" and I would sure hope you are too, but if someone's calling themself that they're almost certainly pro-c in some way and it sucks :/ Pro-cs are honestly a really small minority, but they suck to see for a lot of reasons.

anti radqueer: someone who is against radqueers

this is a collab thing between me and @report-rqs woo!! these are my/our take on these anti radqueer and recovering radqueer flags by @/acetrappolaswife (deactivated blog). i liked these flags in concept but the stripes were messy, both flags had stripes that were only a couple shades apart, and they didn't have any meanings attached. so we revamped them!

anti radqueer flag stripes:

1st black: (for POC) self care/love for yourself as a POC in a racist society

purples: queerness

pink: paraphiles and paraphila education

white: protection

magenta: anger

2nd black: (for white allys) shutting up and listening to, and respect for, POC

recovering radqueer stripes:
