Another Day, Another Fanny Chapter...

Well that sure was fucking something huh? I promised I'd at least start talking about IM chapters on here instead of keeping it strictly to the discord server so here I am. Though most of this I already said, I don't mind going over it again, since I feel like I can better organize my thoughts on this.

Also there's no word limit, which is also great.

MY THOUGHTS ON CHAPTER 348: RABBIT REFLECTIONS

So to start, let's rip the bandaid off and just say that everything Fanny said to Vicious in this chapter was bullshit.

At this point in the story with how Fanny has been acting around Cuphead I hope I don't need to specify how Fanny is in love with Cuphead when there's just too much evidence to support it. She kissed him because she wanted to kiss him, not because she was trying to see what kind of lowdown man he was. If Fanny had truly believed that, she would have confronted him about it long ago, but she didn't and we know why. And on some level, I think she knows why, too.

I think it's much easier for a reader to imagine this chapter as a conversation Fanny is having with her conscious. Saying something like this:

Is not her responding to Vicious but to her own thoughts that weigh on her. That kiss has been on her mind for about a week. And her reasoning behind it has changed even moreso. This is her settling on a final conclusion. This is her convincing herself of her own convictions. Of her worldview. That what she did was right, that she didn't ruin something good because it was never good to begin with. So that she doesn't have to confront that ugly realization in the pit of her stomach.

That Cuphead doesn't love her the way she loves him.

That last part specifically. Let's look back at the screenshot yeah?

-"She could almost see Oswald's glare. It was all the same dance. A carousel of pain and betrayal, around and around."

It's a strange thing, isn't it? To bring up Oswald. To equate Oswald to her current situation with Cuphead. Because that is essentially what she's doing, isn't it? It may seem odd, but I do have a reason for why she's thinking that.

Rejection.

Oswald broke up with her and moved on with his life, and Cuphead literally ran from her. Literally the only thing they have in common here, is the fact that they rejected her. But there's another thing too.

"No, she shouldn’t complain. She was lucky she’d found a man with a decent job. Little fights like these weren’t going to end it all for them. Besides, it wasn’t like marriage was about love and all that stardust. She had tried that avenue, and it had ended in heartbreak. Definitely not worth it. Dumb rabbit." (Chapter 74)

The bold is obviously about Oswald. Now compare that to now. Do you see what I mean? She fell in love again, and she got hurt in the process. Nevermind that in both these scenarios the men were also hurt. Especially Cuphead who trusted her and from his perspective, probably assumed she planned on using him for her own needs. Just like Meg. Just like Natasha. And in that way it's very interesting the wording she's using to describe Cuphead, and also Oswald for that matter, rejecting her.

Pain and betrayal. Very edgy, it's giving listening to that one slowed down piano version of Numb that everybody made fandom AMVs to back in the 2000s.

But seriously, why those words? It's a betrayal that Cuphead wasn't interested in the same way she is? Painful sure, that's kind of how rejection works, but betrayal really?

Or.

Is it a betrayal to herself? Thinking of certain aspects of this chapter as Fanny talking to her conscious would definitely lead me to believe that that's partially what it is. She'd already tried the avenue of love twice and it's ended poorly for her, so why did she do it again when she said she wouldn't. Why now, and why with someone like...like him? Like Cuphead? It's absurd in her head. It's something she can't make sense of. Doesn't want to make sense of it either.

So the betrayal could be referring to herself. But, I also think it could be something else, too. But for me to talk about that I have to talk about Oswald and Fanny's relationship because even after a disastrous break up they just can't stay away from each other~

So even though we don't have a lot of context for their relationship, I'm going to go off on a hypothetical that the "betrayal" in regards to Oz is that he offered Fanny (either literally or just like, the idea of the relationship with him gave her that impression) a way out of the dark. From chapter 327 that her home life wasn't great, and she doesn't seem to have any high opinion of her parents at all. Even the mere suggestion of going back home after her break up with Oswald seemed like a worse fate to Fanny than being homeless.

Oswald betrayed her because he was her first love, and also because she was supposed to be living the good life with him. They were supposed to be together forever, but then he broke up with her and next thing Fanny's hearing he's got a successful career and a beautiful wife and kids. She left everything behind for this man only for it to turn out like this. In some ways I can kind of understand what she means. But then she applies this to Cuphead and it's a bit stranger.

Because Cuphead never did anything other than offer her friendship and nothing more. Of course, at the beginning, Cuphead did have a crush on her, but by the end of the Wonderful Winter book he's basically over it. But then I think back to that book specifically, and I think about their interactions throughout and wonder if the betrayal is because Fanny misconstrued everything about their relationship because of how he'd previously acted. Is it the case, that Fanny thought they were both in the same boat, using each other as a form of escapism. She even calls Cuphead out for this at one point and makes an observation about it. Did she think it was the same for him as it was for her? That the feelings were mutual?

And, okay I actually can't blame her for that part. Look, no matter how you slice it, Fanny and Cuphead were just straight up flirting with each other in the early chapters. Not to mention Cuphead asking to take Fanny out to dinner? The Christmas group date? The aftermath?

At the beginning, there may have been mutual feelings of attraction sure but things have changed since then. And even though Cuphead put aside his feelings for her for good, if Fanny had shown any form of reciprocity then maybe things could have changed, but she didn't. But even still it doesn't really explain how Cup could have betrayed her. It stumps me and I've had a good nap to think it through and it's still confusing.

ok dumb question but. i loooove ur thrushpelt amv ive watched it so many times and i want to get into doing similar videos maybe?? im really new to sophisticated editing software so... how do you do that like, sun line spinning effect in the background at 1:42 and also later in the video thank u soo much 👉👈

heres how i did it for that video:

draw your sun and export it as png file

put it into your editing program (I'm using da vinci resolve)

move the anchor point into the centre of your sun

4. place a keyframe for "rotation angle" at the start of the png (or whenever you want your sun to start spinning). Wherever (or rather whenever) your playerhead is = is where the keyframe will be placed. Keyframes are how the editing program moves things around. Placing this first one at the beginning of your timeline basically = "I want this to be the start position of this png".

5. Go to the end of whenever you want your sun to stop spinning. Place another keyframe there. This basically = "I want this to be the end position of this png"

6. Keeping your playerhead on that keyframe you just put, rotate the sun png to change its position. (in adobe premiere which is the program I used to edit the thrushpelt video, I could just use the transform controls to spin it around n around and it would just keep counting how many rotations I made yaay simple. In da vinci resolve it looks like that just makes it reset back to 0 degrees when you rotate back around to the start lol So that means I had to manually type in "600" degrees to get it to rotate multiple times; like how 365 degrees would be 1 full rotation, so 600 would be around 2 full rotations.)

Here I'm showing you method 1: rotating it with the transform controls

And here I'm showing method 2: manually typing in "600" degrees in the "rotation angle" setting, and then I'm playing the video to see it spin

7. Play the video and see if you like how it looks, and adjust to your liking (to edit a keyframe, just make sure your playerhead is at whenever you placed the keyframe).

More rotations = it'll spin faster. Why? Imagine if someone told you to spin around only 1 time within 10 seconds. You might have to even deliberately slow down to spin only once within that time. BUT if they told you to spin around 50 times within 10 seconds? You'd have to spin real fast to make sure you spun around enough within that same time frame.

8. Also: To make it rotate clockwise/counter-clockwise (whatever the other direction is), just put a "-" next to the number to make it negative 600.

In that video above you can also see how because my playerhead wasn't on the exact spot of one of the previous keyframes I made, it automatically made a new third keyframe when I changed the rotation setting to "-600". Then when I play the video, we can see it first spins the same like in step #6 (because those first 2 keyframes are still the same), and then start spinning the opposite direction ("-600"). It also spins a lot faster mainly because while those first 2 keyframes are about 3 seconds apart, key frame #2 and the new keyframe #3 are like 1 second apart

(again imagine spinning around 5 times within 10 seconds vs trying to spin around 5 times within 1 second; for the latter you'd have to spin a lot faster)

(*it technically is Also spinning faster because instead of going from 0 degrees (keyframe #1) to 600 degrees (keyframe #2) which is a difference of 600 (0 minus Positive 600 yay math), it's going from 600 degrees (keyframe #2) to -600 degrees (keyframe #3) aka a difference of 1200, a much larger distance (600 minus Negative 600 yay math))

In conclusion: Keyframes are the key! lol. They are what makes everything move/change over time so they'll be your bread and butter in video editing, so try to learn more about how they work! I hope that all makes sense ;O;

2. A canon or headcanon hill I will die on

I think the one Gilgamesh headcanon that I'm the most annoying about is the belief that Gilgamesh doesn't always have lofty goals behind his intentions; and that he can definitely partake in morally gray actions purely for the sake of it sometimes.

This is a VERY unpopular opinion- particularly in the wake of fate works revealing that Gilgamesh often acts as an impenetrable opponent as a means of 'fostering the growth of his people'; but at times I believe Gilgamesh can be a wanton and arbitrary King who does things based off a whim sometimes. Yes, I do understand that Gilgamesh is also an incredibly smart servant- who plans many things in advance, but some of his behaviors do strike me as very uncouth and sadistic, and they're not always for a noble end goal.

I don't believe that all he has done has to be justified. It's okay that Gilgamesh is fucked up. Acceptance and tolerance are two very different things, but I only learnt this recently.

OOF this is a very hard question, sans for the canonical instrumental songs that are canonically associated with Gilgamesh, there are a few that make me think of him but... I'm trying to remember which ones...

LMAOO FOR SOME REASON THIS SONG RANDOMLY CAME INTO MY HEAD?! (I first heard this song during a Madara AMV for Naruto Shippuden????) This one is heavy metal.

I'm looking over the lyrics, and it's about an absolutely terrifying king of annihilation. Well... I guess there is some relevance, then.

There was also a Nier:Automata song (Song of the Ancients I think) that played in a Gilgamesh fgo gameplay video, so I tend to associate this song with him too:

Mori Nagayoshi Character Ask

That there is method to his madness. Mori Nagayoshi may be very blunt and can definitely misread the atmosphere; as well as act in ways that may seem a bit 'dumb'; but deep in my heart, I believe that he is actually very intelligent. There is just something about Mori that screams to me 'he knows more than he lets on'. Maybe this is just me though, as he can appear as a bit dense XD

Maybe this is just me, but beneath all of his chaos and bloodlust, there is a chilling sense of... someone who is making the most out of what hand he's been dealt. He does seem unusually nonchalant about some hard-hitting things, but as I have grown and learnt more about the many ways in which people cope with hardship, I have learnt that this is the way how characters like him cope. They live in the moment, they go wild, they accept the reality... damn, Mori is kind of a mystery to me as well XD

ANOTHER HILL I WILL DIE ON! Sorry, this one is a bit NSFW but!!!! Although Mori is rough and wild I BELIEVE 100% DEEP IN MY HEART that Mori Nagayoshi would be very good to who he is indulging in physical intimacy with! I think he may be clumsy at times but he has the spirit, I believe in him wholeheartedly.

AND A THIRD HILL I WILL DIE ON! I love his rare meek and blushy side when he gets a bit vulnerable. MORI NAGAYOSHI IS CUTE! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE HE ISN'T CUTE! HE IS ONE OF THE CUTEST IN FGO!

To me personally, there is no best feature for Mori Nagayoshi. The WHOLE PACKAGE is freaking sexylicious!!!!! Phwoar, Mori Nagayoshi is very beautiful to me personally, from those fiery red locks, to those stunning ochre yellow and red ringed eyes; that bulky build and his massive teeth.

I’m obsessively interested in this game, but I don’t have a PC or MacBook (u don’t even want to know how hard I tried to get it to work with shady Windows-emulator apps and sheer dumb hope 💀 ) SOO I was wondering if anyone has posted a play-through or anything? Or if there’s a wiki or smth where I can at least read the lore? Idk help I’m going insane 😭

Oh my gosh - I am so flattered!! There are no play-throughs YET (barring my own crummy demos of like... 2 different routes?), and there are infrequent streams from small creators, but I will absolutely be posting here if I or anyone else releases a Let's Play!

Shark and Quattro have been a couple for over 3 years now. They started off well, but as of late, the two have been at odds with each other. "Why are you doing this to me?" demanded Shark. The have been arguing yet again. "I made a promise. What do you want me to do? Break it?" "Yes! I'm your boyfriend, does that not mean anything to you?" "You don't understand" "No. I don't. I don't understand why you would just abandon me for a group of girls!" "They're my fans, Reginald" "And I'm your boyfriend!!!" The purple teen was breathing heavily, glaring at the other male. "Why? Why did I think it was a good idea to trust you? Yet again" "Cause you love me" Quattro placed his hand on Shark's chin. He slapped it away. "Don't" "You need to clam down" "Not right now I don't!" "Please, just listen to me!" "To what? More excuses? To more reasons why your cancelling another date to be with your fans?" Quattro groans. "You're really not gonna listen?" "Nope" Shark turned around and grabbed his jacket. "Where are you going?" "Away from you" And with that, the front door to their shared flat shut.

Shark was still fuming as he walked down the streets of Heartland. Was Quattro that dumb? Could he not see the pain he was causing to Shark? The teen let out a sigh as he opened a door, hearing the bell chime as he walked in. "Ah Shark. The usual?" He looked up to see a pink haired teen. "Yes please, Yuzu" she nods as he walks over to an empty table. He let's out a groan, slamming his head against the table. Something poked him and he looked up. "Here" "Thanks Shun" he replied, sitting upright and holding a cup of coffee. "OK, what happened this time?" "What do you mean?" "Please, like you don't know this already. We've been doing this for six months now. You come in, order a black coffee and then your pour out all of your troubles and woes to me, I give you advice, you ignore it and we come back around full circle" stated the older teen, sitting opposite to him. "Quattro just keeps on abandoning me for his fans! His own boyfriend for a bunch of people! Doesn't he know how much that hurts?" Sighs Shark. "Well, maybe it's time to take my advice" "And what's that?" "Break up with him!" Says Shun. "Its the better option for both of you. You're my friend and I hate seeing you upset"

"Shun! Table six needs serving!" Shouts Yuzu. "Coming! Please take my advice" he says, getting up and walking away. Shark remains seated for a while, thinking over his relationship with Quattro and Shun's advice. He let's out a sigh and gets up to head over to the restroom. He splashes water on his face and sighs. For the first time, he can see how drained he looked. The bags under his eyes were obvious and he looked paler than usual. "Maybe breaking up will be good" he mumbles as he dries his face before leaving. He makes his way over to his table and notices a chocolate muffin has been placed there. He reaches over to pick it up, when a hand slaps his. "Nope!" He turns to see Shun. "Wha-" "You can have this after you break up with him" his friend says, taking it away. "Seriously?" "Yes! Now go. Scram. Get lost. Leave. Get the hell out of my restaurant" Shark let's out a snort and nods, downing the rest of his coffee before leaving, the money placed upon the table.

Shark opens the door to his and Quattro's flat and steps inside. "Quattro?" He calls out, closing the door behind him. He walks towards their bedroom and finds Quattro sound aslep. He sighs, getting changed and joining him. He closes his eyes and a single tear rolls down his cheek. Shark let's out a groan as his alarm goes off. He reaches out a hand and beings to smack the clock. "Morning" Silence. He turns and sees no one. "Quattro?" He sits up. He looks around before getting up. He checks the bathroom, the living room and joint kitchen. "Quattro?" He grunts, picking up his phone. He dials his boyfriend's number but it goes staught to answer machine. "Quattro, where are you?" He turns off the phone before getting himself dressed. As he reaches for his shirt, he catches a glimpse at his tatoo. It was of half a heart with Quattro's name on it. Quattro had one too, with his so when they placed their arms together, it was a full heart. He then leaves the flat and heads over to the Arclight mansion. He knocks on the door and a pink haired teen answers. "Shark? What-" "Is Quattro here?" "Um... I don't think so?" "Can I check?" Trey nods, moving aside. Shark makes his way up the grand staircase and to Quattro's bedroom. He searches the room but no sign of his boyfriend.

He leaves the room, slamming the door shut as he storms over to the staircase. He heads down the stairs and sees Quinton. "If you see Quattro, tell him I'll be waiting for him at the Pendulum Swing!" He closes the door behind him and gets back on his bike and drives off. Around noon, Shark stops his bike and gets out. He yells with rage, throwing his helmet onto the ground. "Where is he?!" He exclaims. In the corner of his eye, he spots the familiar teen. "Hey! Wait!" He follows as his boyfriend heads into the Pendulum Swing. He bursts in and sees Quattro sitting down at his table. "Where the fuck have you been?" He asks. "Clearing my head, like you did last night" "Why did you leave? Why didn't you answer my call?" "Listen Reginald cause I'm only gonna say this once: forget about me" He watches as his boyfriend leaves, feeling confused. "Wait- Quattro!" He turns aroundsl and heads outside, but doesn't see him. "Hey Shark- you okay?" His blue eyes lock onto gold. "No. I.... I'm so confused" Shun places his hand onto the smaller teens arm. "Why not you sit down and tell me what happened?"

Odd Tracks: Emo Kid - Adam and Andrew

So as I decided to not review a certain gamer song by a musician who gets into twitter fights with anyone critiquing him since I didn’t want to give him more attention (as of now, I may want to make a post talking him and making a bigger point about his behavior but I want to wait awhile for that). As I heard his early discography one of his songs unlocked a long buried memory within me, “This song reminds me of Emo Kid for some reason”.

Also, the suicide imagery I know is meant to reference how emo had a huge stereotype of depression and people being suicidal when like were there people in the scene who were depressed and were suicidal? Yes. I think there is a better way to like bring up how there were people in the community who romanticized such but I don’t think the song was going for that. Also this is not the only references to suicide in the song with the line, “ I play guitar and write suicide notes”

Also, yet again another weird reference to getting turned on by suffering. I know the singer is comparing the narrator to the main character of the book as both are seen as whiny when like the whole point of the book is it is about a teen going through a really shitty situation and not coping with trauma well. Well this song was...something. I remember I would listen to it as a teen and didn’t have a problem with it...but I was a stupid edgy teen so there’s that. Like again, I didn’t expect this being good when I went back to it in 2023 as an adult. I knew even back then the song was dumb but saw it as silly dumb. But now I am just like, “Wow, this song sure is a time capsule of the era”.

During my search for the song I did find the musicians official youtube channel where they posted their performance of the song and I found their facebook page. Oh and their myspace page. They haven’t been online in a long time. That or just don’t really post much nowadays. You know, I do wonder how they look back on this song or any of their other music since 2006? Week 7: Anime as Pastiche

I'M VERY INTERESTING It's been another week. The incidents of note from this week are: (1) I put in my two weeks notice, and (2) I went a bit insane one night this week. To the first point, I finally quit my job. It feels like a weight has been lifted, but I also feel that I'll be making a series of lateral moves for the next ~40 years of my life, until my death. Rather bleak, but also likely true. I also was caught being absolutely wrong in conversation this week. It was actually in regards to the Bible, so doubly painful as I've been bragging about my reading of the Bible. After being caught being wrong, I went briefly insane. I did not smoke or vape, which I'm proud of. Still, I had to go on a drive to cool off and am still trying to recover. This is tied to a sickness I have, which makes me need to be smart and right. I'm trying, however, to be grateful for those parts of my "self" which are/can be wrong. I'm trying to avoid taking myself up as a dumb or smart thing, and instead looking at all of it as interesting. Still, it was interesting to realize a lot of things bottom out at being interesting to me. If, for example, other people don't find me interesting (read: smart) then why would they engage in conversation with me? The chance to let go of this ground, and engage in more grateful/interested ways is exciting, but difficult. More generally, it's been an alright week. More isolation, more work, and more reading (this week has been Aristotle). I went to see "The Substance" this week, which I thought was a lot of fun. I've been telling people it's Dorian Gray meets Barbie meets Cronenburg's The Fly. I have also, however, forgotten a lot of the things I read/watched/talked about this week, which is a nice segue into this weeks ramble:

PASTICHE OK, so, I think anime is characterized by pastiche. What, exactly, does this mean? I'm embarrassed to admit that I haven't read Jameson in full; as such, my analysis or whatever will be lacking. I'm using pastiche, however, to refer to an intertextual approach which is not critical/does not add, but merely copies in an a-historical fashion. I'll address all of that, but first: some bona-fides. I've watched (according to MyAnimeList) about 60 days worth of anime. This is, undoubtedly, an enormous waste of time. It also, however, means I've seen a pretty broad range of anime. I don't want to indicate that I'm an expert, or well-read, or even that I've seen your favorite show. I have, however, engaged with the medium quite a bit. I've seen shows I like, and shows I don't. I've also been part of that group which consumes anime-adjacent things with gusto (e.g. the notorious AMV). What has all this consumption taught me about the medium of anime? Not much. I have some half-formed idea that the law in Japan, the culture around sex etc., and the methods of distribution of manga (and by extension anime) influenced the inter-textual nature of the thing, but I have no research to back this up. So, I'll stick to the consumptive side of things. There are trends in anime, and there are shows which mock/satirize the genre as a whole (idk, Gintama maybe?) A lot of anime, though, bleeds together. Different trends, and art styles, and stories all harmonize in ways that don't manage to differentiate. We're likely familiar with the grosser trends/stereotypes anime adopts (e.g. the harem). The whole of "anime", whatever that means, refers to "anime-ness", but in non-specific ways. To clarify, maybe. Anime feels a-historical in a lot of ways. There is, of course, a "history" that gets referred to (we all saw Akira, and we've all watched video essays on the shadow cast by big brother and fat man). The medium itself, however, does not have a history; it has trends. CGDCT, for example, is a trend. It has taken up more of the "space" in recent time. This does not, however, appear within the medium as a response or growth to something else, but simply as another consumable-thing. There is, I think, some outer-explanation which could help situate trends/the inter-textual stuff going on here, but as a consumer (as a specific type of consumer, probably), there's no friction.

FORGETTING I made it sound like anime appears as pastiche for... material reasons above. I don't know if that's true. A preface: I'm an idiot (as I've re-iterated multiple times). I like to be interested, but I'm deficient in a lot of ways. One of the ways this deficiency symptomizes is through forgetting. I'll often forget the things I've read, the connections I've made, and the way things fit together more generally. I could also tie my inability to make an argument to this forgetting, maybe. This is a long intro to say: I've forgotten almost all of the anime I've watched. I remember some story points, some art, some jokes, but I couldn't pick a title at random from MAL, and tell you what the story is. Anime has become an AMV, or a car-decal to me. It's started to bleed together, and lost its historicity, because I forget. I am an inadequate subject to make sense of anime. Forgetting is a distressing thing, to me. It reminds me that information flows, and that my body is a changing thing (I'm not interested in some materialism debate here). As something which exclusively consumes, forgetting also makes me question what the point of most of my time is. There's the (in)famous quote by some jagoff from the 1800s who said something to the effect of "I don't remember every book I've read, but all of it influences my life." I think this is false-humility. The smart can remember and synthesize things, and I cannot. That's ok, and I can be grateful for the strangeness of forgetting and the bits that stay, but I do think it's fact. Anime, because of the amount that I've consumed and the smoothness of the medium, is pastiche because I forget. We can gesture towards interesting things that make anime more easy-to-forget, or something, but calling anime pastiche says more about my subjectivity than the medium itself. There is a middle ground here. Instead of focusing on an individual failure to remember, I could gesture towards some "cultural forgetting", or something along those lines. This would also start to close the circuit of this particular rant, in some ways. Instead of holding the typical object-consumed-consumer structure, I could try to construct some history-object-circulation thing. This is approaching intelligibility. I think, however, that we can situate my dumbness in the larger context of a cultural a-historicity. We didn't make it to the end of history, but we did make it to a nice fold/confluence in history. Everything bleeds together, everything refers to itself through its genre in non-critical, non-historical ways. Maybe the wise and the learned among us can navigate this, but I cannot. I'm a forgetting thing, and I inhabit a world of pastiche. The problem is that I still enjoy watching anime. Everything slips towards a waste-of-time-that-feels-like-no-time-lost. I like the hyphen too much.

REMEMBER Remember that this blog is meant to serve a purpose, thought I don't remember what it is. I think it might be to remind people that there are strange creatures alongside them. Remember to be grateful in unknowing (though not for it). I'll try to remember to make a plan for my upcoming break from work, so I don't lose the thread. I think I should be more careful/thoughtful in the future, but that's standard. I like anime, and I like reading, and making sense of consuming is hard for me. I almost forgot to tell the world, but I have been on dating apps recently, which is a suicide-inducing experience. To be viewed, and viewing others, is hard. I have been surprised by how cute/interesting/strange the women I match with are, but I find myself incapable of messaging them in a coherent manner. This is probably not surprising, considering the state of this blog. I remain grateful. Love ya

alright so Black Lagoon actually mostly takes place in Thailand near the border of Cambodia and not SBMA at all. Black Lagoon takes place in a fictional city named Roanapur and it has a big buddha statue. Reddit claims the main theories of the location this is based on is Chanthaburi or Trat. We were so reliant on other fandom members contributions, I joined from the HP fandom and it was kind of a shock. Like HP has/had official versions of EVERYTHING buy Pjo/Hoo you had to know how to work Etsy and Pinterest in your favor. I have a really old CHB hoodie that my dad got me, and I don't even know how!! like you couldn't just go to an official website or Disney or anything you had to know people who knew people if that makes any sense
