What canon events or characters do you find the hardest to write about?

That's an interesting question. Thank you for asking it!

I think for me it boils down to "anything that happened 'on screen' in canon." If it was covered in any amount of detail and depth, I tend to not be interested in writing about it. So, you wouldn't catch me writing a fic featuring the quest for Erebor or any of the events in Lord of the Rings, but you might see me writing how Eomer and his wife get together post-canon or a story set after Bilbo returns from Erebor but before the events of LotR.

I think the only exception to this happens in Scars, because I felt that I couldn't avoid certain canon events; I tried to make that a short part of the overall fic.

As for characters, I actually think the hardest ones to write are characters from the Silmarillion, particularly because I gravitate toward female characters and we just ... don't have a lot of information about any of them. So, I have to put in a lot of work upfront to build enough structure to hang a story on. But I think the work is really rewarding and hopefully, I'll build up thoughts about all the Silm women so that it's easier in the future.

Even as a stuffed bunny Danny still needs to eat. This is how Alfred discovers that Damain's new friend is more than just imaginary, he got up in the middle of the night to get water and found Danny standing on a counter holding a cold chicken leg. Alfred makes some sides for Danny and heats up everything quickly on the stove

I don’t even know how he would even eat. Why am I picturing something like the Among us imposter when it’s stomach opens up, but for a stuffed bunny Danny. Just this fluffy stomach opens up and reveals a meaty mouth with sharp teeth and long ass tongue, grabbing a chicken leg.

That may be too horrific for this AU tho haha. And I don’t wanna think about the logistics of a stuffed animal eating and that fueling Danny. Soooo not canon to this AU, but really fun to think about. Maybe he needs something as fuel, but actual food? Maybe not

are these foils the voices for the Princess? and do they correspond with her variations from the OG game? like Voice of the Dove is The Damsel and so on

To answer your questions, yes they are Voices for the Princess, and they're all based on her chapter 2 iterations. They're different from their canon counterparts but are fun for me to keep in mind as I work on things.
