Alas he is too late, the buyer is far too engrossed to pull away, so he does his best option. His failsafe that never falters in times where her master will graciously take a supporting hand.

Manager Unit slumped over where she was left behind. Her back no doubt would be aching if she had been a real human, but thankfully she is spared such a fate. Her eyes were shut, as if she was finally taking a nap from her never ending chores so graciously written up by her beloved charming yet humble—

Oh, her offline radar spikes as the shudder of noise scratches the walls.

His voice booms over the intercom: Manager Unit! Manager Unit, please wake up! We have a situation in the Diasomnia Chambers! A batty type!

However he has yet to say his secret phrase. A very silly phrase known by his fellow Raven Works employees in such times. His reliable Manager Unit stays asleep on her feet.

“Oh Sevens! Meaty Meat Lovers Delight!”

A faint click, followed by several melodic beats, as a burst of glitter and a bibitty bobbity boo— awakens the sleeping android. Tawny eyes, and dark lashes flutter, silicone skin that creases as she awakens. Manager Unit eyes clench before fluttering open. Memory reboots as she takes in her surroundings. She blinks once, twice, and then begins sprinting for the magical mirror.

“Oh not again! Lilia!” She shrieks running out, skirts rustling.

On the day new students arrived at the esteemed Night Raven College, Crowley found a delightful surprise awaiting him. Laying right there in the middle of his office, tied off with a largely comical red bow it sat there—- menacingly. “How? He utters, the feathers of his cape ruffle as he looks over it, cane held in a tight grip. It was one thing if his upper class students liked to play jokes for newcomers. Some in good laughs others lacking the refinery but the spirit is there!

It was another thing entirely how they managed to sneak into his office lugging a gate from the designated area! Oh, those cheeky little boys! 

However! A very big however, mind you, no student should have been able to move this gate from the chambers. No matter how clever, wicked or even foolishly lucky— this is no practical joke. Somehow, someone had managed to bypass all his security, the ghost patrol and even the looming eyes of the Seven who guard his office.

“Did you see who it was?” He asked out, his talons drum again the same wood they had used for their own gates. The wood felt warm, a light rumbling trembled its spot—his feathers stayed in place. There was the foggy glass, smoking and turning him away.

“No,” The great mage of Agrabah pressed into the canvas as far he could to peek,” It became dark, as if all the light in the world had flickered. And then this little…precious thing came to be.”

Due to such important figures, and of course in general concern of their students, the magical barrier would immediately kick out anyone not affiliated with the college.

B. I see that you were unaware of Vaporwave as a music genre so I'm gonna overshare for a moment because I'm autistic about this and I hope that's okay.

Basically as I understand it, and I won't be doing a fully history deep dive but; Vaporwave popped up around 12 years ago with THIS video:

The song was essentially slowed down and given a sort of reverby-ethereal vibe to the whole thing. Something I overall enjoyed but found a bit too repetitive for me in the original Nobody Here video.

This sort of "Reverbed Ethereal Vibe" carries through a lot of Vaporwave music such as this:

This one lacks any lyrics at all focusing heavily on melody and I honestly think it's a lot better for it in my opinion because I'm less likely to recognize the repeating than I am with literally two words lol.

And now is where it branches off into a ton of different micro sub-genres, you have a ton popping up but the one that caught my eye specifically was Future Funk. A sort of focus on the capitalistic boom of the 80's where new tech was all the rage, and brands meant everything. Except with a sort of fun and lively vibe rather than dystopian capitalistic hell. Future Funk also makes use of a lot of anime aesthetics and city pop / J-pop influences.

The big Future Funk influence of the era was SAINT PEPSI, Pepsi was sort of the artist that people looked to in order to say "sure I like Future Funk, at least the GOOD STUFF that isn't like all that cringe shit, I only listen to SAINT PEPSI because he makes GOOD music." Which is :| but the music slaps. Like if Vaporwave is too slow for you, or you're in the mood for something a little more upbeat, here ya go!

Right out the gate we can hear so much more energy here. This was sort of set as the norm for Future Funk, but for a lot of artists it strayed too far from it's Vaporwave roots and some took to making music somewhere in the middle, still upbeat and lively but with more of that classic ethereal feel to it.

To this day I will use this hour long beautiful mix of upbeat future funk classics whenever I'm cleaning the house or driving anywhere or doing anything that really requires me to just have energy.

This SLAPS and I know it by heart because I'm dumb and I've listened to it significantly too much. I think what really makes it for me is that it's not just a playlist video, it's a proper DJ mix seamlessly moving from one song to the next.

ANYWAYS, yea Vaporwave has a ton of sub genres and stuff to look into if anyone has any interest in it. I admittedly got hardcore into Future Funk but there's almost always something for everyone when it comes to Vaporwave.
