i think it would be very funny if lime kept stealing all of mochis side quests because he thinks theyre fun even though he doesnt need any of the rewards and everyone is pissed because they could actually use the things she gives in exchange but lime keeps fucking taking all the side quest resources before anyone has a chance to report back

i was lookin at a few vids about the bg3 dream visitor romance [spoilers if anyone's still early game i guess lol] and like i was so shocked people were, like, so upset and betrayed when they discovered the dream visitor's true form fksdjgkdljf like okay i forgot not every corner of the internet has monsterfuckers and also i guess normies are playing this game. and ALSO it reminded me that the % of players that even have the steam achievement of sleeping w/the emperor at all is so low. 12.7%. why is everyone a coward. i'm not even a self proclaimed monsterfucker. i dont like sex and im mildly phobic of tentacles. tho to be fair probably a lot of ppl are also romancing a companion and wanna be faithful - ive only gotten to that scene in multiplayer where none of us were in companion romances so it was guilt free go for it see what happens, in the discord call all together LOL..... then we had a lover's spat after the raphael fight 😑

my durge tav had a fling with both astarion and lae’zel at the same time. when i played through it originally, astarion’s hug scene triggered before lae’zel’s ‘i have feelings for you and i need to fight you about it’ scene, and so that meant that my tav’s relationship with astarion deepened and it was ultimately lae’zel that prompted the ‘choose one of us’ dialogue.

i recently went back to an old save shortly before the astarion hug scene because i wanted to check how that scene had triggered (iirc it triggered organically, so without talking to araj or killing yurgir first). i was at last light inn, spammed like two or three long rests, and instead of having the hug scene trigger (which i now believe only triggers after raph gives you the quest to kill yurgir), lae’zel’s scene triggered instead.

this was nice because i got to see it + hear the subsequent ‘choose’ dialogue from astarion rather than lae’zel, but oh my god i cant stop thinking about the implications. lae’zel was SO close (literally only 2-3 nights!!!!) to admit her feelings to herself and confess to my tav!! had i played slightly differently, gone somewhere else, picked a fight in a different spot, the defining moment of who my tav ended up picking (and thus falling in love with) might have gone differently. and like. imagine being lae’zel. imagine kicking yourself repeatedly over and over again over the fact that you’re… feeling things for this fucking random tadpoled dumbass you met just recently. imagine growing up in a society where love and romance is scoffed at, and the second you’re removed from that environment, you find someone who stirs those embarrassing feelings in you! imagine slowly working up the courage to even just Begin to accept your feelings, to be working towards being able to acknowledge them out loud, to be literally One Night Away from taking this huge, scary personal leap… and then someone else beats you to it. you were one night away from doing one of the scariest things you’ve ever done, and then someone else fucking destroys that opportunity for you. and it’s just over. you end it with the person you were so close to falling in love with, because they’ve fallen in love with someone else and you hesitated.

Not having new linear games post 5 its judt that sims 4 wasnt even supposed to Be The Sims 4 it was a last minute pivot and the base code is so outdated and was broken On launch so like. i just wish we could have the final actual sims game be like. one that was always intented to be a major sims release AND be intended to be so long term . yk

just realised that the first media we consumed that made us REALLY sympathetic for the monster was that fucking point and click Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst game. bc that entire game i was legitimately fucking TERRIFIED of the ghost lady in that game but the second i found out her husband was abusive i doubled down on trying to help her escape. and the ending of that game Did make me cry out of fear but hey at least i did in fact help her escape

i love when i (a woman) tell men that i'm a gamer and there's this shift, like, i can see that they're about to be condescending af to me by asking "oh, what do you play?" like that matters at all, like playing a game they don't deem "worthy" makes me any less of a gamer lol.

I will love and support all of the pokemon ranger games but I will also fully admit that guardian signs just doesn't capture me the same way as the first two (heh). So it is my least favourite and gives me the least fizzy autism feelings. Which is unfortunate because most of the people I know who know pokeranger really love guardian signs. I like the past story quests a lot and I like the story drama (I'm pretty sure this is the part everyone else especially likes) but the region feels less like a rich place to me and more like just a neat environment to pass through and that kinda detracts from how I enjoy it unfortunately

I feel like there's a lot there but at the same time not enough. There's a lot in concept, but in execution there isn't. Like I wanted more informational tidbits about the areas. More interesting NPC dialogue from the people living there to drop little morsels of how they view the place, what it's like to live there, hints at history maybe. GOD more hints at the history from the npcs would have been amazing considering the entire deal of the region is its history. More comments about the places themselves and less just filler dialogue or comments about the player. Also fuckin. dialogue that updates properly to comment on the story. SoA had this and I loved it so much and was so disappointed at the comparative lack in GS. Several of the SoA npcs feel at least aware of what's happening in the region in the story but most of the GS npcs felt to me like they were just kind of existing there to fill up space and give out side quests

The NPCs at the time travel shrine are the most notorious to me about this because they say almost the exact same thing through the entire game, I kept going back to check in the hopes they would update it to say something different, but it was Always the Same as if you'd only just been there and had the celebi thing happen...

played superstars through the credits with two of my brothers and just. holy shit this game was absolutely not designed for multiplayer. despite the gratuitous marketing focusing on the multiplayer aspect it was CONSISTENTLY lagging to an insane degree and it only got worse when we went from 2 players to 3. i had a great time despite it and i think the game had a lot of potential but by the time we got to the egg fortress fight, well:

kept popping between zoomed out (multiplayer view) and zoomed in (single player view), killing whichever of the characters the camera wasn’t locked on every time it happened

jarringly swapping which character the camera was centered on, snapping into their view and causing more deaths

the ground disappearing and occasionally causing people to clip into it and die every few seconds

the uh. the spinning. happened about half the time the robot swapped between phases

ALL of these problems happened about twice as often when all three players were active, so in order to beat it two of us had to intentionally die for the fight to even be playable

i have ten more videos just like this. we spent nearly an hour here. it happened so often i gave up documenting it. it wasn’t the first major issue (the entire game crashed after beating a level, twice. at one point when we left the shop we were accidentally teleported to the overworld area for egg fortress with no floor loaded and accidentally walked off, then fell eternally) but it’s the one that really broke our spirits. how do you ship this game that you marketed as multiplayer when it’s nigh unbeatable when you actually play multiplayer
