I'll take a break from art for the rest of today to write the AU fic and hopefully finish it by Monday. I'm really really excited to publish it!! (but I'll talk about that in a different post)

Gotta hand it to Georges Lecointe for surviving an extremely harrowing voyage to the Antarctic during which he throws a cat overboard to drown out of rage, fails to save a drowning crew member, runs aground, gets ice locked, watches a good friend die, almost succumbs to scurvy while literally dragging himself across the floor to the doctor, gets in a major fight with his boss via passing notes, nearly stranded on an ice floe, etc, etc…. Only to get home and write a memoir titled “In the Land of the Penguins” which deadass sounds like a children’s storybook. Brother what the hell
