Loraine’s Siblings for the ask game?
Alright Exit, you've got it! So I'm gonna give you part of my notes, but also a bit of actual writing.
A-Aisha (the eldest, most mature, but also strict/well-meaning)
B-Beau (handsome, a bit conceited)
C-Cordelia (bookish, old fashioned, hopeless romantic)
D-Damien
E-Ethel (some call her Emerald, lives a double life in the taverns playing tambourine/dancing)
F-Francis (maybe they call him Frankie?)
G-Genevieve (loves gardening, often found dancing among the landscaping)
H-Henry
I-Illiad (writes poetry and performs them at slam poetry
J-Josephine
K-Kallahan (goes by Kal) (sings the best lullabies) (loving big brother)
L-Loraine
M-Matteo (loves play sword fighting, very energetic)
N-Natalia (Christmas obsessive, loves the holidays)
“I don’t want to disappoint them, but I have no idea how I’ll get them all to match. Every piece of wood has a different figure hidden inside, how can I make them all the same when that’s not how they’re meant to be?”
Odette pondered this. “Why do they have to be the same?”
“They’re dancers, everyone tries to make dancers look alike.”
“That’s true.” Odette pondered this for a moment. “Do they have to be though?”
“I don’t know, that’s what my master seems to think. I need him and the client to be happy, or I’ll never get to be a craftsman.”
The swan thought about it and got up from her spot by the fire. “I think you should ask them what they want. You want to be considerate of their needs, don’t you?”
“Well of course, I want to do a good job!”

AU where everything’s the exact same except Asphodel just gets to live a happy life . She’s like my Ares to me . She may want to die but I will do everything in my power to help her survive until life is worthwhile for her once more .
this is brilliant. taking her out of the horrors and letting her have a happy and chill time. truly honourable . I've noticed a theme with watching a real tragedy where even if it was established all the way through that there would be no good ending, when its over you can still find yourself thinking "maybe if id loved them more or payed more attention to the story i could have changed things". even reading a book or watching a play. anyway I just felt this train of thought was relevant.

An important thing to remember as an artist that started out drawing characters crudely and then started learning the fundamentals, at first your art will not look nice.
At first, drawing faces and bodies in different positions will make your characters look weird, then poor perspective will make your characters look weird, and finally when all the kinda things I mentioned above will be dealt with, just the hype of finally knowing how to draw anatomy will bite you in the ass because you can do all these things, you can draw them correctly or close to that, but whether that's figure drawing knowledge gaps, or awkwards poses/composition, or just not a very harmonious combination of realism and stylization in facial features or in general, but your before and after pictures might get this look of "clear objective technical improvement but many would consider it a downgrade"
That's a very common thing. I used to be in this before/after art community, and it was so toxic it was a meme within the community that no matter how much you've improved there will be people that will say that the before is better. There's a seed of truth to these words though, what they fundamentally get wrong is this implication that you "ruined your art"
That's a big example of why you shouldn't listen to non-art people for art advice. Keep going. You're closer to your art dreams than you ever were, you just need to look into all these things like the remaining knowledge gaps or personality to your art you might've lost as you were on your anatomy grind.
Keep creating, keep looking at art that inspires you and try to think of how to make yourself like your art better. Don't get stuck on it, if it begins being unfun, please do take a breather. Also, none of that is objective, people will still prefer things different to what you find beautiful. It's alright, create what you like, that's what this post is about. If you don't wanna, don't focus on aesthetics, just the process of creating art is fun and will eventually get you in the right place, that's what I do, I just occasionally throw in things I like and sometimes they work. Take care.
These are my current thoughts on the topic. I wouldn't take them too close to heart, this is just a blogging site and I'm blogin 👍

i love writing a fic and realizing i:
cannot post it because it got deeply personal for a hot minute
cannot submit it for the prompt i wrote it for because the server has rules against religion-centric fics
i did the thing where i give pandora horrific trauma again
for context, this is the final paragraph i wrote before i went "oh i dug too deep here"
(read more for above reasons.)
Infinity, infinity, infinity. Your infinity, My infinity, you've blessed me. Blessed me so, please, create me as I should be. Let me shed this exuvia and become the angel you seek. I won't doubt you again, God, I will never doubt you.

Kindred spirits appear when you least expect them (geddit?).
Normally it wouldn't be a massive deal hating something popular, bc inevitably, everyone's gonna hate something popular at some point in their lives. But what do you do when you hate Me Before You and LOVE Sam Claflin, what do you do then? What do you do, when you see an article about him and get that dreaded feeling in your stomach as you click to open it, bc you know that film will be mentioned? (I want to hug every journalist who doesn't bring it up. Nicely done work, Men's Health.) What do you do when you see all the comments from people who love that film saying how much they cried? (Why? WHY???? What is there to cry about? How easily impressed people are by a cheap tearjerker?) What do you do when that film is sold as the best thing in romance, a True Love (how?), a "doomed love story" (how????? Romeo and Juliet is a doomed love story, not this trash). What do you do when you know there are much, much better, more quality films with Sam to watch, with better developed female characters AND love interests--but everyone ignores them? What do you do?
Will: You're the only thing that makes me wake up in the morning.
Also Will: kills himself.
How truly inspirational! /s
