Okay, confession time that's gonna make me sound like a shitty person, but on my trip from Catania back to Athens, I sat next to that lovely Canadian woman and her mother and we were chatting during the whole trip and we went out last night, and we went out tonight again (I was supposed to meet them for dinner, but I got to the wrong place and didn't get to meet the mother, but I still got to meet the young woman). There's a slight chance that we will meet tomorrow as well because she's leaving on Thursday, but I don't want to be that creepy person that always invites themselves.

And she's cute, funny and kind and I didn't know what got over me, but I didn't mention that I have a boyfriend, but I also assumed that she would not be interested anyway, because she mentioned past boyfriends and men she flirted with on her trip to Italy, and she's not gonna stay here for long anyway.

And because there was a miscommunication between the two of us and didn't meet her at the place she originally invited me to, and the messenger app wasn't working on my phone, I gave my FB password to my boyfriend and asked him to tell her to text me because I didn't have her number and couldn't reach her any other way. The boyfriend knows about her and how we met btw (he doesn't know that I think she's cute and hadn't tell her that I'm in a relationship tho, I know, shitty me.) It felt kinda weird asking him to log on my FB and text her, and he of course mentioned that he's my boyfriend, but I couldn't do anything else.

And when we actually saw each other tonight, one of the things the woman told me was "I thought that was weird because you didn't mention a boyfriend." but she said it in a way that I couldn't make sense of. I wonder if she was trying to figure out whether I wouldn't have made mention of it because the relationship is bad or because I had other things in mind. And then I thought "But what if she was actually interested? Now she'll never tell me."

I know I am a shitty person because I shouldn't be thinking this way. It's not fair for my boyfriend. I am probably overthinking things anyway and again, she'll be leaving on Thursday, so...

I don't know, I hope we stay in contact even as friends anyway because I really like her and feel that I want to preserve that personal relationship. I asked her if it's okay to message her on FB just to casually chat, and she said she's okay with it.

Yup, I'm definitely an idiot.

semi-dark king merlin au, someone from ealdor tells king cenred about merlin and he is captured and held as a slave in essetir. since merlin despises captivity and servitude, he’d rather be dead and free than alive and in chains so he acts out and pisses people (especially the king) off so they’ll think him too much trouble and kill him. at first they stick to beatings until merlin manages to get his chains around a few necks and now has a body count so they kill him…..only he wakes back up a few hours later and king cenred is Intrigued and keeps him close. merlin keeps acting out but no matter how many times they kill him, he won’t stay dead. merlin has this moment after waking up perfectly fine after his twenty seventh death where he is hopeless and believes there to be no escape, not even thru death. a few other sorcerers in chains come and help him clean up and give him a lil peptalk, realizing him to be emrys, and then they revolt and take over the kingdom and crown merlin as king and now uther is like “wtf” bc his neighboring kingdom who was kinda sorta on his wavelength about sorcery, though uther did not approve of keeping them alive, is now a kingdom ruled by magic. he goes to war with them but with magic running free and fucking emrys on the throne, they don’t make a lot of headway. anyways merthur meet on the battlefield, enemies to lovers, you get it

The animation quality compared to the manga is–#definitely noticeable and it's nice to see. That said... I still like the season 2 art style more? And I'm speaking strictly of art style.#The s2 one looks more soft and smooth while the da one is so much more rough.#The plot is... Very bsd-esque I don't think there's anything to add.#In my opinion Kyouka's arc is the one that turned out best tbh. I really like her narrative development and personal growth in this movie.#I like the complexity of her state of mind. how full of contradiction she is. I especially appreciate the recurring small changes of–#expression that indicate how she thinks differently from Atsushi even if she doesn't voice them. The fight between her cynicism and her–#kind nature. It's all very interesting.#Atsushi's development is interesting too. Although all the open questions about his ability we still have kind of leave me frustrated #I don't feel very strongly about Akutagawa in this movie? I mean‚ he's there. The ss/kk scenes are always great and in character and a joy–#to witness no matter what they do. He just doesn't shine particularly? Or at least personally I dont find the “proving my strength against–#myself” narrative arc to be particularly interesting. Imo it was a lot better flashed out in the da stage play! With the complexity that–#the dialogues with Chuuya added to the character. Dazai attacking him. And especially Aktgw understanding that Rashomon wasn't testing Aktg #but rather only expressing that unstoppable rage that is also Aktgw's own. About that I checked out the play and I really liked it!!#I only watched highlights (aka: ss/kk and chuu/aku scenes) but there's some stuff I really like. I like the conflict between Aktgw and–#Chuuya and how Chuuya messes up with Aktgw at first maliciously and then amiably. It's interesting how Atsushi himself observes that Kyouka #and Akutagawa get along. And especially the sskk almost-handholding and Atsushi saying Akutagawa has a nice profile were cute akjdhbsawhjb #Next. Da really is shipping paradise (╥﹏╥) Sorry but... It is. oda/zai. daz/atsu. ss/kk. s/kk. fuku/mori. chuu/aku. It really has everythin #and the moments are so good!!!! What else. Wish we'd see more of Tsujimura. And Christie. And women in general tbh.#Also‚‚‚‚‚ Atsushi's tiger form in this movie is ATROCIOUS. I've said it before but it's crazy how a franchises that relies so heavily on–#fanservice came up with something this hideous. Man the movie overall was pretty but Atsushi sure wasn't. If your kid doesn't want to go to school so much that they throw a temper tantrum and scream until they go hoarse, and your response is "shut up because you have to go" the problem is still you ignoring your kids needs and you're a shitty parent.

#I always remember a fight I got into on Reddit about this woman complaining that her kid hated broccoli #Because SHE had power and her 4 year old did not this meant that every meal had to feature broccoli #So literally every meal was a fight with her 4 year old and she called it a “power struggle”#Ma'am he's 4 #The complaint was he's manipulative and awful and bratty because when he started crying his dad would say he didn't have to eat the broccol #She literally described her own toddler as spoiled #Anyway we as the audience were supposed to side with her against her indulgent husband since she was a SAHM and knew everything #My comment was obviously stop trying to make him eat broccoli?#Her response was that children HAVE to eat vegetables and I wouldn't understand bc I didn't have children #If she didn't force feed her toddler vegetables the vegetable police would shoot her or something #When I said yes but there are dozens of types of vegetables why can't he eat a carrot?#I was informed that she controlled what he ate and he needed to eat what she fed him #Like the only person causing a fight is you #You are unhinged and that child should not be in your custody #But somehow I was crazy for saying that if your kid doesn't like something don't feed them it?#I was told children have to be force exposed to things they don't like especially if they don't like them #So they don't grow up to eat limited diets which is apparently more embarrassing than your kid crying so hard he throws up #And refusing to eat any food that you prepare #But I'm the crazy one!

it just hit me that the movie is coming out next month imgonna throw upppppppp

Why did only Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain get free, anyway? I mean, if Solas is trapped in the same prison they were in, it's clear it's now empty, and that the other Evanuris (Falon'Din, Dirthamen, June, Andruil, Sylaise) are gone.

I understand the devs couldn't possibly introduce them all - two villains are already a lot -, but I wonder what the in-game reason for their mysterious disapperance is. Did they kill each other while trapped? Did the Blight consume them?

Or does their absence confim the theory Old Gods = Evanuris, meaning each Old God that got killed in the past was a dragon hosting an Evanuris' soul, until only Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain remained?

(If true, would that mean a Dark Ritual!Kieran possessed an Evanuris' soul until Mythal took it from him?)

nothing more cringe than coaxing and half-forcing someone to go to the movies with you because you're talking up how good the last one in the series was and then they finally agree to go and then it ends up being over two hours long and also kinda the worst 😬

#this is about the latest mad max movie btw #IM SO UPSET I WANTED IT TO BE GOOD BUT IT WASNT GOOD #fury road is just one of my fave movies ever and i assumed this one would also be fun but it was like #weirdly paced kind of oddly boring and also uncomfortably gratuitously violent #and now i feel crazy because everyone is raving about it in the reviews #im like am i the only one who didn't like it??#chris hemsworth makes a shitty villain and also they didnt really give him anything of substance to work with as a character here #anya taylor joy did well but also took forever to appear and is either mute most of the time or awkwardly dubbed over by charlize theron #the fights and actions scenes didnt make a lot of sense much of the time and had random plot holes abounding #and half the cool and mysterious worldbuilding and character stuff from the previous movie were kinda wrecked a bit for me somehow #at least we still have fury road but dang thats like a 5 star movie to me and this was like a 2.5 star movie #and the good stuff in it is just stuff thats good about the mad max world in general really not this movie itself #wahhhhhh im sad #at least i paid for everyone's tickets i guess #i was like apologizing to the people i dragged to it haha #and then i checked the critics' responses and everyone is like 5 stars!! a masterpiece!!#im so confused by all the rave reviews #furiosa spoilers #movies #p
