For the record, goat milk can totally taste like cow milk if you have spoiled goats. My old job’s goats used to eat more scrubby stuff, and as we improved their nutrition AND they were offered more choice plants and less rough feeds, their milk was *chef’s kiss* perfection. I would’ve drank it anyway, but even the boss lady, who was not that into it, started enjoying it in the end.

her name’s esther, she’s a slightly purple-tinged blue mage hawke who considers her family and friends extraordinary but herself a very ordinary woman just trying to get by. she went from helping with the twins all her childhood to becoming a single mother when she was about nineteen or twenty. the father was not as willing to run away for a mage partner and child as leandra was! which she insists was completely reasonable and she’s fine about it. (she’s known for a fact since she was a kid that fairytales of true love really do happen, but she learned then that they don’t happen to her.) she pretends not to like the violent mercenary life she had to take up to support the family, but how true is that? it’s the first time in her life that the good responsible thing for her to do has been to stay out of the house and actually use her magic. she indulges in the excuse a little more than she thinks she should

she’s responsible and sweet, capable of being funny when coaxed to abandon her natural shyness, with a less obvious ruthless streak: there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her baby. she’s a bit uncertain about the prospect of mage defiance. certainly she wants her own little family to stay free, but malcolm also raised her to very firmly follow the strict magical guidance he learned from the circle and told a lot of cautionary tales, so she’s somewhat wary of what other mages (who she has had little to no contact with) get up to without that training. also, she cannot be getting into any rebellions, because she has the aforementioned baby to get home to. (then again, some may ask if it’s really keeping that kid safe to raise it in a world full of templars.) like i said, she thinks of herself as someone simply trying to get by, and just managing that is more than enough trouble. her heartstrings are relatively easily pulled on, though, so i’m interested to see how all that goes if i stick with her for any length of time

Hear me out: you can ship JayVik without falling into or using rhetoric that fits the disposable black girlfriend trope. You can ship JayVik without using Mel as some conceived ploy or antagonistic plot device that makes her out of character. You can ship JayVik without falling into misogynistic rhetoric (eg. viewing female characters as disposable or stepping tools, amongst other things). You can ship JayVik without erasing the impact Mel has had on Jayce and their relationship because, whether you shipped it or not or even gave it the time of day, Mel and Jayce did care for each other, and to deny that or say Viktor held more importance/impact than her in Jayce's life to where she's viewed as "unnecessary" just to further your ship is so wrong and, whether you intended for it or not, does carry undertones where black characters, especially black female characters, emotional impact on others is ignored or downplayed even though there's context to support just how important it is/they are. Lastly, you can ship JayVik without using anti-black and misogynoir type rhetoric because the amount that has flooded this fandom, but especially from some fans of this ship, is atrocious. Ship what you like, but be respectful and careful with certain things you say, is all I'm saying.

During my playthrough, based on the way she said this and Wenona's grossed out reaction afterwards, I could only assume this was an innuendo or weird joke I couldn't understand. So I looked it up today and apparently when adding the two words together it's a pun for "Cunninglinguists" which 💀 Like damn, no wonder everyone was so sure you two were fucking as bunk buddies.

i think a really great aspect of oofuri is how much it gets mihashi's ass for being overly timid and dependent. it would be really easy to write off the way he and abe interact as being abe's fault because he is overbearing, and a lot of people do, but it has some really great moments of going "hey, you cannot hide behind abe or depend on him to make every decision. it's not good for you, or him, or the team."

I think a really underrated character duo in gravity falls is Dipper and Stan. Like one, I think they are way more similar than people give them credit for. Like Dipper is definitely the one who feels like the ‘inferior’ twin (internally on his part), something reflected in Stan. Also Dipper is generally pretty cunning and willing to throw punches in a Stan-way, you can see Stan rubbing off on him as the show progresses. Dipper in the Stan costume, and that one scene where Stan and Dipper both cross their fingers at the same time for the same promise, both live in my head rent free. In my heart of hearts I think Dipper picks up a bit of Stans con-man tricks in the future (and Mabel goes on some bonding missions w/ Ford, but this post isn’t abt them). Also I just want to say I bet Dipper reminded Stan of a young Ford and that informed some of their early dynamic. Anyway bye just needed this brainworm out

Percy/Nico? Literally my forever otp, i think y'all know by now how much i love them lmao

Percy/Jason? YES yes yes, a thousand times yes, they have such an amazing dynamic

Jason/Leo? The perfect Leo ship if you ask me, sweet and funny and deep at the same time, they complement each other perfectly

Jason/Nico? The sweetest possible ship ever, just thinking about it makes me melt

Nico/Leo? What we could have had in canon if Rick wasn't a freaking coward. I said what I said.

Percy/Leo? This is a weird one, but whatever, at the very least they would be the perfect pair of besties.

ekky bearhugging noesen while maffhew helps by sticking a glove up in his face as they both push/pull him back so forsy has enough space to get up. babes thats what we call double teaming!!! special mention the ref trying to get maffhew to let go off his quarry because ekky already has a hefty hold of em but he hasn't learned the drop command yet so he's resource guarding.

honestly by the power of a ref and meier does benny also not get involved but brother he was 5 seconds away from jumping noesen. jesper is just here to oversee his feisty teammates. he's here in spirit.
