Where to start

Journal a bit, write down your goals, and some manifestations.

Night routine:

Remove your make-up and do your skincare; if you have more time, you can do a facemask or take a relaxing bath. <3

I love going on evening walks; the fresh evening air really calms me. Make sure to be safe when going out tho! <3

Make yourself a delicious dinner; I've been really into buddha bowls! You can find inspiration and my favourite recipes on my Pinterest.

Do some yoga before going to bed, relax your body and calm down.

Plan your next day to reduce stress.

Current Skincare Routine(s) 🎀

I have a morning skincare routine and two separate night routines depending on the day of the week and what skincare products I use. For example, on a night I use my AHA/BHA toner, I do NOT use my retinal eye cream. I'll also include some tips that work for me at the end!

My skin type leans more towards Oily-Combination!

🩷 Usual AM Routine -

If I washed my face and did skincare the night before, I simply splash my face with cold water and pat dry with a clean towel. If I did not do my skincare the night before, I wash my face with the Cerave Hydrating Face Wash. This is the only face wash my skin likes, but I'm still looking for alternatives for my night routine!

Once I dry my face, I use the IUNIK Centella Asiatica Calming Gel Cream moisturizer. My skin loves this moisturizer. It helps with my redness and makes my skin feel so nice.

After that's soaked into my skin a bit, I rub in a layer of the Beauty of Joseon Rice and Probiotics SPF 50 sunscreen. I put this on my face and neck!

I typically apply a 2nd layer after the first one drys for some extra protection if I know I'll be outside for a bit during the day.

Cocoa Butter Vaseline or Blistex on my lips for some nice, not chapped lips before I do makeup and/or apply lip gloss/lip stick.

My morning routine is super simple and quick because I usually just want to get it done and move on with my morning. I still enjoy it, tho, because it makes me feel accomplished early on in the day!

🩷 PM Routine: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat

I have an app that breaks down my skincare routine so I'm doing this off memory and what I remember from my typical routine for these days, but I do know these four days are different from the others for sure!

Occasionally, I will double cleanse and use my Hiemish All Clean Balm to remove sebum and oil impurities, but I'm not sure how I feel about this cleansing balm yet.

I wash my face with the Cerave Hydrating Face Wash using warm water and do a final rinse with cold water. Of course, I pat dry with a clean towel. I am looking for a water-based foam cleanser to follow the oil cleanse, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know!!

I then use two cotton balls to rub some Cosrx AHA/BHA Toner along my face to remove dead skin and then I spray some of the toner on my face, patting it in gently with my hands. I have to be careful with my eyes cause it will burn them if I get it in my eyes.

While the toner is still a bit damp on my face, I pump some Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence onto my cheeks, forehead, chin, and a little on my nose and pat it in gently.

I let the essence dry a little bit and then apply some Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid serum while it's still damp. I pat this in as well, as it's better for absorption than just rubbing it in. I used to use the ordinary brand one, but omg, the Good Molecules one is so much better, in my opinion!!

I need to buy a new one, but occasionally, I'll use a niacinimide serum on my forehead, nose, above my upper lip, and chin as those are my more oily areas. I used to use The Oridnary Niacinimide, but I want to try to Good Molecules niacinimide.

Next, I use my Cerave Eye Repair Cream (the blue one) under my eyes for extra hydration while the hyaluronic acid absorbs into my skin.

Depending on how I'm feeling, I'll use either the Cosrx All in One Snail Cream or the Etude Soon Jung 2x Barrier Moisturizer to lock in everything. I usually choose the Cosrx Cream as I prefer it, but it again depends on how I feel!

A little bit of vaseline to end the routine so I can wake up with soft lips!

I feel like this night routine is more complex then my other night routine but it always depends on the products I use.

🩷 PM Routine: Tues, Thurs, Sun

I do not oil cleanse and instead just wash my face with the Cerave Hydrating Face Wash, patting dry after rinsing with cold water.

I then use some of the I'm From Rice Toner, patting it into my face. I layer this one on twice, being careful with my eyes cause this one will burn them like crazy.

I follow up with the Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence, patting it into my skin.

Next is the Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid serum.

After the serum dries down, i apply a quarter to a half pump of the Beauty of Joseon Retinal Eye Cream underneath one eye and another quarter to a half pump to the other undereye areas, patting in gently while avoiding my actual eyes. If there's any leftover I gently pat into the surrounding areas. I'm not sure how my whole face will react to retinal so I'm careful with this one.

I then rub some Cosrx All in One Snail Cream over my face to lock in all the other skincare products and moisture.

A little bit of vaseline to the lips to ensure smooth, soft lips when I wake up!

I haven't noticed a difference with the retinal yet due to my inconsistent use but I do like how it feels the first few times after I use it, so I plan on continuing it.

Now, for some Tips:

Pat your face dry, never rub it with a towel. Rubbing it causes friction and pulling on the skin while patting is way more gentle on the face.

Initially wash with warm water but always final rinse with cold water. A while back I heard this helps with your pores, so I've just always done it and it makes my skin feel nice, especially in the morning!

Try to use either paper towels or a departed face towel (not your body towel) when drying your face. I myself use a separate towel for my face that I wash 2x a week and my skin doesn't typically break out.

Brush your teeth before applying skincare! This way, you don't disrupt the skincare surrounding your lips when brushing your teeth, flossing, or using mouthwash.

Always wash your hands before starting your skincare routine to minimize bacteria getting on your face.

Always try to patch test and figure out what works best for your skin, never just use what's viral or popular because not everyone has the same skin type. I feel lucky that my skin typically likes most products, but my skin is very picky with cleansers. I haven't found a cleanser besides the hydrating cerave one that my face likes. (The B.Lab Matcha Foaming Cleanser was so stripping my face turned red and peeled in certain places, a definite no go for me.)

Korean/Asian based skincare typically focuses more on hydrating the skin, while Western skincare tends to focus more on drying out the acne. I personally, as you have read, love Asian based skincare. Most of what I use is Korean skincare, and I'm still looking to expand my skincare collection because I love it so much!

Do your research! When I find a product that interests me, I watch pintetest and tiktok reviews, read the reviews on the actual shopping app, and read as much as I can on the Asian Beauty subreddit before making a purchase. I also like to read ingredient lists, application directions, and details on products, and I always Google what products can and can not mix together. it's helped me determine what to buy and what not to buy, and so far, my skin has loved it!!

Try to wash your pillowcases at least once a week and avoid touching your face with dirty or greasy hands. Also sanitize/disinfect your handheld devices/audio devices (cellphones, iPad or tablets, headphones, etc), eye glasses/sunglasses, and really just keep anything that touches your face as clean as possible. All of this helps to minimize how much bacteria and dirt make contact with your face.

Research different things that may help with improving skin. Ice rolling, gua sha, silk pillowcases, physical exfoliates, face masks, etc. Look into stuff that might help your skin or make a difference in your skins appearance and health.

This should've been higher up, my apologies, but drink your water!! Staying hydrated on the inside definitely shows on the outside, and being hydrated is an essential component to health overall!!

Wear your sunscreen!! Apply it in multiple layers to both your face AND NECK, as both are exposed to the sun for long periods of time and can suffer from prolonged exposure without proper sunscreen application. Along that line, don't be afraid to apply skincare to your neck!! I've seen photos of older individuals who took care of their face and not their neck and the difference between face and neck skin was astounding, so I personally like to rub excess hydrating serums and moisturizers into my neck as well.

Don't pop your acne! If you do get pimples, which I used to get all the time tho it's slowed down a lot, use a warm/hot washcloth or something similar to apply heat to the pimple. This will help it pop naturally, although popping your pimples may allow for the oil, dirt, and sebum to spread to other areas which may cause more acne. Popping acne with your hands may also cause scarring.

Love your skin!!! Skincare results take time, and there's going to be ups and downs while trying to find what products work for you, so try to love your skin throughout the process. Acne and other skin issues are caused by things sometimes out of our control, such as genetics, hormones, climate and weather, etc, so try not to be too hard on yourself!! Things will improve, and if they don't, after some time, seek out a reputable and trustworthy professional for an opinion and better direction on how to care for your skin!!

I haven't tried either, but I am looking into it as I feel like ice rolling, especially, might be beneficial, but I'm unsure. And can anyone recommend any Asian beauty water-based foam cleanser that I can use after an oil cleanse? I fear that my cerave isn't enough to fully remove all the cleansing balm residue from my face, which might end up being detrimental to my skin health.

Also, let me know your skin type and products or tools you recommend, as I am always open to including new things into my routine!! I love doing things for myself so expanding my skincare routine is definitely an interest of mine!

tw rant (mostly lighthearted tho lol) well well well what a series of unfortunate events!! i’m on my way to catch the bus to my first dance filming with this club and im running a little late but i can make it! then i’m at the bus stop on time and i get a fucking nose bleed😭

oh and i forgot my bus card! so i have to pay for my fare on the app :| but anyways nose bleed! im like shit what do i do bc im wearing a white shirt and light pants for costumes and i tend to go really heavy nose bleeds. luckily its not bad at all and i decide to run into the cvs right by the stop to see if they can just get me tissues. but its taking too long so i go out back out to catch the bus. fun fact! i missed the bus :,)

so i go back into cvs and buy some expensive ass makeup wipes for like ten bucks (should’ve tried to find stain wipes but i was lacking some foresight and thought i didn’t get anything on my clothes). and i live in the suburbs so the bus doesn’t stop at this spot for another 45 minutes yayyyy!! so i have to find a new one :,) and this new one doesn’t come for another 20 minutes.

so i have to walk to a new bus stop but it’s decently close so that’s fine ish lol. and then im writing this post while waiting at the bus stop!! and i look down and realize i did get some blood on my white shirt. so now its a little stained bc the makeup wipes didn’t remove it all the way. and the wipes also left a dark spot on my pants!! yayyyyy !!!!

kaja heart melter (#05 hunny bun): i think i was influenced by the suggested items on sephora bc its heart shaped and i was still hooked on the nucadamia color, but this is also so cute and feels nice (not too waxy smelling or feeling, it's smooth, good to mix or layer with other lip products), but has absolutely ZERO lasting power. i still love it tho

klairs supple preparation facial toner: i first got this off of fb marketplace from some random girl off campus bc she was selling it discounted, unopened. ive repeatedly repurchased bc it's a thicker(?) toner and feels more moisturizing since it's not just... water... <3

aquaphor advanced therapy: i have so many of these lil bitches around the house bc i use it as lip balm (but not the aquaphor lip ointment bc that sucks for some reason), on my brows, or eyelashes if im feeling like it..., or on my hands if extra dry

etude house play color eyes (#bakehouse): this was ALSO gifted to me by college friend (a) (she somehow knew exactly what makeup to get me even when i was first trying it out) and im still using it bc its such a good basic palette and the shimmer one on the very left (sugar rusk) is sooooo perfect for aegyosal... like i either have to get another palette just for that color or try to find a dupe for it bc ive hit pan on that color...

Hi! Of course! I'm not a professional MUA, I only do makeup on myself, so I'm not the most experienced person, but I'll share what I know in case it's useful.

Sorry I took some time to answer your message, you got some very good questions and I thought about recording videos showing how to do some of the tips I’m talking about to then show you, but I ended up not finding time for that until now, so maybe in the future... But for now, I tried to cover everything in here, so I’m sorry for the gigantic answer. 😅

1. Shaky hands

Here are some things that I do that help me when making precise lines/shapes:

A) Support: I do my makeup on a table, not standing. And when I’m doing eyeliner, to help my hands shake less, I wether support my elbow on the table or I support the side of my hand, or my pinkie finger, on my cheeks.

B) Mirror: I use a table mirror because you don’t need to hold them, like hand mirrors, and you can easily move them, so I can place the mirror in whatever angle or distance I need. The mirror I use have a fix height tho, so to adjust its height I improvise by putting some boxes underneath. There are some more fancy mirrors that are a lot better, mirrors that move to any angle or height and ones that have light on them, but they are more expensive, so I stick with the most basic ones.

C) Visibility: I use a ring light in front of my table while doing my makeup, and the mirror I got is normal in one side and has a 2x zoom on the other side, I also got a smaller one that has a zoom of 5x. I don’t know the proper name of those kinds of mirrors, so I call them “zoom mirrors" and they are great to help you see what you’re doing more closely.

D) Breathing: I also hold my breath while drawing lines on my face and stop drawing everytime I need to breathe.

E) Product: the best types of products for eyeliner:

Powder/pressed eyeshadow: the easiest product for doing eyeliner, in my opinion, is eyeshadow because you can do looks like this one that don’t need to be super sharp and you can always use the tape technique to get the wing straight;

Gel eyeliner: most people say this is the easiest to apply, however some gel eyeliners don’t dry completely and can easily ruin your makeup, so you’ll need to research for a good one before buying;

Liquid eyeliner: it’s the hardest but the most waterproof and “transfer proof” (some gel eyeliners are also waterproof, though) because they dry faster. But the biggest secret lies on the brushes...

F) Brush: the easiest brushes to do eyeliner with are small angled ones or small flat ones, because they are easier to make straight lines with. They are great for doing eyeliner using eyeshadow or gel liner, but I never tried with liquid liner so I don’t know how well this would work to be able to inform you, sorry. 😬

G) Calm: precision requires calm and patience, so eyeliner is definitely not something you should do when you’re running late, specially if you don’t have a lot of practice yet. You have to be slow and careful until you get more confident with it, so take your time. And try not to get nervous afraid of making mistakes because you can always fix anything, just remove the part that’s messed up, reapply the foundation or concealer (if you’re using any) and try again.

H) Practice: and, of course, practice consistently. The more you try the easier it gets. I don’t have super firm hands, but I paint since I was a kid so I already know how to deal with the amount of “shakiness” of my hands (Idk if this word exists in english, but I hope it does 😅). But doing straight lines on a face is different than doing it on paper because papers are plane, faces aren’t. So the best way of learning makeup is by practicing and adapting to yourself, you need to experiment to find the products, brushes and techquines that work best for you. But yes, in this process we can spend a lot of money, so I’m gonna share a few things I do for saving money with makeup...

Things I do because I’m poor 😬: I bought myself a while ago an eyeshadow palette that has a decent variety of colors, and I use the shadows for my eyes, of course, but I also use a dark brown eyeshadow to fill my brows, a medium tone brown to contour my face, warmer browns as bronzer, pink eyeshadows as blush, and if that palette had a light shimmery shade I would use it as a highligher too. So with only one eyeshadow palette that contains some pinks and browns you can already do a lot. And I don’t use concealer, I only use an affordable medium coverage foundation that already covers my dark circles quite well (you could also do the opposite and use only concealer).

2. Brands:

I haven’t tried enough brands and also most of the brands I use are only available in my country, so if you don’t live in Brazil you probably won’t have easy access to them. But I don't think that brands actually matters, because the same brand can have both good and bad products… So I usually look for some reviews on Youtube before buying any product, specially expensive ones. But, for begginers, I think is more important to pay attention to the texture of the products: powder, creamy, liquid, gel… Powder products are usually the easiest to blend. So between creamy highlighter and powder highlighter or creamy contour and powder contour, I prefer the powder ones (like I said, I use my eyeshadows for almost everything 😅). Brushes are important too: brushes with soft hairs are good for blending and brushes with firm hairs are good for precise lines. Here is a guide from Pinterest on what each brush shape is good for.

3. Lipstick and Foundation shades:

This is a very hard one, you really have to swatch some shades to use them as reference. And you'll probably never find the perfect shade, only shades that are good enough… Kkk

A) Foundation: Some makeup stores offer swatches of the products for you to try on yourself before buying, and some brands sell swatches online (a mini version of their products), so you can buy a few to try on before buying the bigger size product. But when I'm indecided between two foundation shades, I prefer to get the lightest one because then I can apply countour or bronzer around my face to look less pale. With a darker foundation, you can apply a lighter loose powder on top to make it less dark, but I personally prefer the bronzer option.

B) Lipstick: for lipstick I would recommend you to start with browns, reds and warm pinks (preferably not so bright) because these are shades that usually look good on everyone. Here are some examples from Pinterest: Image 1, Image 2, Image 3.

4. Is foundation necessary?

Makeup is not math so there's no right or wrong (just don't wear things that give you allergy, of course 😅), you can do it however you prefer and nobody can tell you otherwise. It's your face, your style… And I've already seen a few girls on Instagram do stunning both basic and glam makeup looks with no foundation on. I personally like to wear heavy foundation bc I like my makeup to look less natural and more like a porcelain doll, but it's just my personal style preference. In my opinion, there are no rules in fashion and makeup, we make our own styles for ourselves.

6. Confidence to wear makeup

Now that's a question I can't help you a lot with bc I'm quite insecure with that too, kkk But I used to be more insecure, I couldn't even wear just a lipstick outside of my house and now I can wear basic makeup looks… but not creative ones. I wish I was brave enough to wear my most creative looks to go out, but I'm still not. 😅 I'm a very introverted person so I try not to call much attention bc if someone likes my makeup and comes talk to me about it I'll get extremelly nervous, so I like to be invisible, kkk. But what usually makes me feel more comfortable wearing makeup is to know that there are other people in the place where I am that are wearing makeup too. But specially going out with friends that are also wearing makeup. This way at least I don't feel alone, kkk. That’s how I do it.

But always remember that you're not harming anyone with your makeup, you're not commiting a crime and your personality is not defined by whatever stereotypes people have about people who wear makeup. So if somebody gets bothered with your makeup (unless you've litteraly written insults to other people on your face or something, kkk) they are overexaggerating, and this is their problem to fix, not yours. Other people don’t have to like your style, what matters is that you are feeling cool in what you’re wearing and nobody is being forced to look at you, so there’s nothing to feel bad about. And I know this is easier said than done, but let’s repeat it to ourselves until it we learn it. 😅

I currently have 2 faves that I cannot choose between for the life of me so imma answer this for both of them hehe!

10. Do they like children? Do children like them? Do they have or want any children? What would they be like as a parent? Or as a godparent/babysitter/ect?

Absolutely not. Rin will avoid any child that comes anywhere near her at all costs. She’s never had to interact with a child properly before (as a teen or an adult) but I don’t think they’d be overly fond of her. Shes intimidating and blunt so they’d probably be scared of her, even if she wasn’t trying to be overly scary (she’d love that she scared them tho)

She would never have kids, ever. The idea repulses her and quite frankly her own terrible childhood and some tiny form of compassion for her non-existent child stops her from ever wanting her own. And let’s be real, she’d never want a child that could (potentially) be better than her - even tho she believes that to be impossible.

As a parent/godparent etc she’d be pretty awful. She’d give 0 shits about what the child did and if it got hurt. She’d refer to them as ‘it’ rather than their name and would only interact with them in a condescending way of trying to teach them something insanely out of their age bracket - like how to roll a spliff

32. What do they dress like? What sorta shops do they buy clothes from? Do they wear the fashion that they like? What do they wear to sleep? Do they wear makeup? What’s their hair like?

Rin’s fashion sense is quite grungy. While she was growing up, she was expected to dress formally and feminine because that was what her family believed. They wanted her to be presentable if she were ever to be part of the family business, but the minute she started acting out of line they resented her and forced their ways on her more until she had to leave her family estate and be her own person.

She usually dresses in practical clothing: tight fitting trousers/jeans (usually with rips in), oversized button ups as a jacket and mesh tops with layers crop tops/T-shirts and always chunky sole shoes - either boots or trainers, NEVER heels. She buys most her clothes from anywhere understated, as she never wants to draw attention. But she has the money for more expensive items so from time to time she gets something a little more fancy (usually jewellery). But also let’s be real, a lot of what she owns she didn’t buy and she would rarely admit she goes clothes shopping as it’s not a priority for her.

For bed she usually wears her underwear or panties w a lose T-shirt. Once she gets w dabi, she notices he always strips completely before bed (minus his undies unless they’re gonna do the do) because the bedding irritates his scars and it’s the most comfortable for him, so she grabs his manky T-shirt sometimes and wears that instead of one of her own. She usually wears little to no makeup on her face except for her eyes - she likes dark eye makeup like eyeliner and eyeshadow to make her that bit more intimidating, but after a while of not having access to make up remover, she’s gotten used to wearing the same makeup a couple days in a row lmao. Her hair is also normally minimal, either completely loose or half up half down with a messy bun (her fave/signature look). In her villain costume she darkens her eyes a lot more w makeup and ties her hair back in a messy/loose bun so she’s seen as gender neutral rather than feminine - the same for a lot of her general day to day attire also.

50. If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials?

Her phone is a must. Any sort of battery powered LED lights or something that she can drain the energy from for a resupply out and about, a lighter (tho dabi is her own personal matchstick so that’s assuming he’s not there), a nail file/nail varnish, keys to all her secret hideouts/bases/family owned venues, her chained mace that is easily collapsible and desecrate, a pocket knife, an energy drink that would hardly ever be touched, some old headphones, a phone charger, gloves to hide her finger prints and lastly a face mask + sunglasses and/or baseball cap to use as a disguise

Margot loves kids!! She doesn’t get to interact with them as much anymore tho since she joined the scouts, but when she does she’s always really fun and the kids love her! She always wanted a big family like the one she grew up with, but again after joining the scouts she figured that was pretty much impossible. She never thought she’d get her happy ending anymore, so when she and Levi are FINALLY able to settle together, that possibility suddenly becomes possible again (just w fewer babies than planned aha)

Margot would be an amazing mum! She would be v forgiving and carefree with what they get up to (like her mother was, as she was margots role model) but she’d be v protective and defend them/care for them at all costs! Even as a baby sitter she’d love it and the kids would love her too! She’s just always the right amount of fun and knows how to liven everyone’s moods!

Margot rarely gets to wear her own clothes nowadays as she’s usually in her scout uniform (can be seen here). When she does get to wear her own clothes tho, she really enjoys skirts that fall just below her knees and loose fitting blouses! Generally she’ll wear an old fitted waistcoat over the top but if she’s working in nature or doing things for fun, she’ll take it off. Most of her clothes are hand-me-downs from her siblings that she took from their caravan after they died. Some really don’t fit (like her old brothers for example) but she’s still adamant about wearing them.

To bed she usually wears a lose top and some leggings, but once Levi joins her she’s more relaxed and wears less (and/or his dress shirt from the day before, but he gets a bit grumpy about that because it needs a wash haha). She never wears makeup and wouldn’t know where to start w applying it! Her hair is always a mess and she rarely takes care of it, but when she’s working she’ll shove it up with a clip or into a bun and lose hair always falls out. Levi helps her take care of it tho because it’s THICC and really curly which is why she tends to just ignore it! (He hates it when she comes home with sticks/dirt in it tho and insists she washes before going anywhere near him haha)

And also some bandages, some flowers she’d collected on her travels, a sea shell from the first time they got to go to the sea, her hair clip, her flute (which is usually tucked into her uniform tho), her flask for water (which sometimes has other substances in it…) some rope, a notebook + pencil for communicating, her very old and worn out ‘introduction paper’ that she used before she learnt to communicate with her hands, a hanker-chief (put in there by Levi when she wasn’t looking) a random stick that holds some sort of significance but she truly cannot remember what it is, some dried food/seeds for her horse/bird friends/random animals she meets and lastly her songbook where she writes notes or full songs from her travels and/or about her companions!

ㅤㅤㅤGood on both sides! They're about as normal a family as one can get in an RDA outpost on a hostile moon with limited supplies and all that but they make it work! There was a toyed with idea of Addi not being entirely close to her mom ( almost to the point the mom was out of the picture, like she left. wasn't killed wasn't anything she just couldn't handle being a mom and removed herself from that picture - leaving Addi with even more baggage like she's a moody teen enough tbh. ) because she was a little more rational and very hesitant at the idea of raising a kid on Pandora. Like imagine being a first time mom.. in those conditions. ( how am i supposed to live laugh love in these conditions ). But as far as current standings go, very good. If there were bad memories, it would be basic Teen/Parent arguments that would sometimes break out but were resolved eventually.

Let it be known these are all directed at Spider. And no she WILL say these things to their face like she has 0 filter sometimes.

I wanna write music but it’s so difficult. My friends and I used to write music but that was forever ago and I wanna start again. I went to my grandfathers for the morning for Father’s Day and I laid out in the sun for a while. I got Starbucks on the way home. I cleaned my room a bit and then I napped because exposure to the sun makes me exhausted. I then had to wake up again because I was driving my siblings and I to my dad’s house for Father’s Day. I’m at my dads house currently and just chilling on the chair while my siblings talk. I am expecting dressers tomorrow which I am super excited about because I have SOOO many clothes and they do not fit anywhere and my other dresser is broken. I was looking for my Taylor swift red tour concert shirt last night but it is nowhere to be found. There are two things that could have happened: my sister stole it.. 😡 or… I accidentally gave it away when I was going through my clothes. I’ll just get a new one eventually plus many more from all of her tours.

I have to wake up early again tmr so I plan on sleeping early tonight. There are so many things I wanna buy but I only have $170. I need…well more so want… a new purse. I also want some new necklaces and bracelets and jewelry. I also want some essentials like new lip balm, lip gloss, some vitamins, makeup remover, and face stuff like panoxyl and snail mucin.

There’s this thing where Swifties don’t remember most or all of the eras tour. I am experiencing that. It feels like I wasn’t even there. People say it’s like they blacked out the whole time or part of the time because there are parts they just cannot recall and if their weren’t videos they would not have believed it happened.There were also people where after the concert, the brain tried convincing themselves it never happened. I am just blessed to have been in the same place as TAYLOR SWIFT. I will make it my life mission to go again. Every time I see her, whether it’s a picture or edit, I get emotional. Honestly. I don’t know why. I just love her so much. She is such a good role model and she is beautiful and her music is so good.

I’m planning on getting a tattoo of the number 13. I was gonna get matching ones a couple months ago w my friend but idk if we are still. • to all my fellow makeup enthusiasts out there: etude house curl fix mascara is IT. it actually keeps my lashes curled all day without smudging and?? somehow?? is a breeze to remove?? 10/10 would recommend

• want to try out false lashes but struggle with finding a) ones that look natural and not ott and b) have a thin enough band that they look good on hooded eyes?? i am here to save the day w/ my newfound love: miche false eyelashes are the one

• follow-up tip for false eyelash application: don’t look straight ahead into the mirror. if u can, look down at an angle into a handheld mirror - this helps u see the lashline better

• pro tip from my girl jackie aina (if u dont watch her videos yet U SHOULD she’s a gem): putting concealer on before foundation provides a more natural finish. bonus points for leaving the concealer to try down a little before blending for optimum coverage + easier blending!!

• if ur struggling to get ur red lipstick to stay put, put a piece of tissue over ur lips, dust with setting powder and press down. WORKS EVERY TIME

• u can set ur liquid eyeliner with eyeshadow + an angled brush for extra staying power

• if u love onigiri like me but struggle with making it last, wrap ur leftover onigiri in clingfilm and then cover in a thick towel before putting it in the refrigerator. this stops the rice from getting too cold which makes it go hard!!

• u dont need to buy dumpling wrappers from the store bc it’s super easy to make urself!! just mix a 2:1 ratio of plain flour and hot water with 3/4 tsp of sea salt. knead into a ball until it’s smooth, cover and let it rest for 30 mins, roll it out until it’s thin (u know the typical dumpling wrapper thickness) and dust with cornflour, then cut with round cookie cutters for the wrappers and ur good to go!!

• next day rice is a must for fried rice but if ur trying to make a fried rice dish last minute w/ freshly cooked rice, just cook it w/ less water and leave in the fridge without a lid once it’s cool to dry it out more!!

• the secret to cute outfits without freezing to death in early spring?? THERMAL CLOTHING AND LAYERING. put on a thermal cami/thermal tights/thermal whatever and if ur extra like me, wear ankle socks beneath ur tights for a) padding in ur shoes for extra comfort and b) extra warmth!! i used to swear by uniqlo’s heattech for cozy but non-bulky outfits (i’m avoiding uniqlo these days tho so if anyone has a good alternative for heattech pls hit me up)

• got an oversized outfit but not sure how to style it without it looking shapeless?? if ur styling an oversized sweater over a shirt or dress, try tying a belt around the bottom of the sweater, then lift the excess sweater fabric over the belt to cover it. this should cinch in ur waist and give ur sweater that cute tucked in look that u have probably seen all over tiktok. alternatively u can grab a hair tie and tie it around the front of ur sweater, then tuck the tied end underneath and roll it up!! (i hope this makes sense idk it’s kinda hard to explain without a visual aid)

• white wine gets out red wine stains

• baking soda + lemon is rly good for removing tough stains from pots and pans - just sprinkle a layer of baking soda and add lemon on top and leave it to do its magic for a few hours before scrubbing

• if u struggle with extremely dry hands like me, o’keeffe’s working hands cream is incredible and outperforms all the expensive hand creams i’ve tried

When he was almost home, you placed all the realistic cake on his room.

You requested that both of you make human food because apparently you "missed the taste" of the cuisine.

So you took care of the usual ingredients of the cuisine: vegetables, onion, garlic, meat and etc.

When it was cooking time, he selected the cake counterparts (this boi might be smart but you were from the human world so he thought it was correct).

He started cutting an onion, to his dismay he saw a soft chocolate interior.

aries being the first sign is all about establishing their own identity and purpose. masks tend to have a focus on a specific purpose or skin issue, such as hydration or unclogging pores

they will have active ingredients selected and tailored to their purpose and active ingredients can be found in higher concentration which means they are meant to have a significant impact, def cardinal energy

debating btw aries and libra but aries is a more personal sign while libra is an air sign, more outward

taurus- moisturizer

at first moisturizer was giving me water sign probably bc of the name but it was also giving me fixed sign energy bc its a rlly foundational step of the routine that can be built upon

but fixed and water is scorpio and that did not make sense

but taurus makes sense bc moisturizer locks in all the other beneficial ingredients and steps in the routine and allows the skin to take them in

it also feels nice and soothing to apply

taurus being venusian and fixed is here for locking in actives, the benefits, the feel, and the dewy glow

gemini- retinol

ik every derm and skincare person has preached abt retinol and its wide range of benfits

also retinol is only one type of vitamin a derivative but i used it as an all-encompassing term here bc most ppl know it as retinol

bc of the various benefits, aging, acne, pigmentation, brightness etc. def a mutable sign very adaptable

also definitely a mercurial sign since it is one of the most well-researched ingredients and clinically approved

i was debating btw virgo and gemini, but i went with gemini for their air sign qualities, able to set their mind to various endeavors at once whereas virgo would focus on a single goal

cancer- spf

cancer is very protective and so is sunscreen, it is crucial to protect against skin damage from the sun, aging, and skin conditions

cancer is sometimes referred to as the mother of the zodiac (in reference to archetype), it is a necessary step to allow all the other ingredients to have a lasting effect

cancer is also the cardinal sign in western astrology that begins the summer szn

you should wear sunscreen yr round tho

just as uv filters can help absorb uv rays into the skin without damage, cancer is empathetic and can absorb the emotions around them

leo- toner and essence

originally this gave me water sign energy and ik leo would want to be a spotlight skincare step BUT here’s my reasoning

leos actually enjoy helping and protecting others, think the “king of the zodiac” archetype, but more of a benevolent ruler. they enjoy seeing their friends prosper with their help. they’re also a fixed sign

fixed signs do not like change, they prefer consistency and toners were originally created to re-balance the ph level of the skin (back when cleansers were too harsh). nowadays different toners do a lot to balance out the skin: manage oil production, hydration levels, calm irritation, etc.

essences allow for products to absorb better into the skin and work better.

leos are also very creative and toners and essences tend to have many new and interesting ingredients in them, unlike spf or moisturizers which have multiple trusted and reliable ingredients and less experimental ones.

virgo- salicylic acid & benzoyl peroxide

salicylic acid is a BHA which is an exfoliant too but this is more in an acne fighting sense, exfoliation is lower

these are both two very common but very effective acne fighting ingredients

similar to gemini, virgo is mercurial and would appreciate that both these products are well researched and clinically approved i had a prescription w benzoyl peroxide before

also have many great uses and can work with different skin types and different types of acne

libra- spot treatment

spot treatments are fast-acting, filled with active ingredients usually at higher concentrations than all-over-the-face products, usually work quickly and effectively

definitely cardinal energy since w/ a good spot treatment we see the results quick, and expect that change

i was thinking libra or aries, but libra is more about relationships and communication with others/ the outside world. it is also venusian so more about aesthetics than aries

the skin is one of the outermost parts of our body and the outermost organ, so naturally it will communicate more. whether you are blushing bc you are happy, or look tired, or pale bc you dont feel well etc.

scorpio- exfoliation

all about intimacy, finding what is hidden, transformation, and deeper meaning

exfoliation is all about removing the dead skin, and (if its an intense professional chemical peel it will remove a whole layer of skin), and seeing the healthier skin underneath, very transformative, very scorpio

can also be a bit intense depending on the strength of the product

sagittarius- serums

serums are definitely a mutable sign, the most adaptable and people often change them for different needs, i think you are more likely to buy an anti-aging serum to add to a routine or an anti-redness serum or a vitacin c serum, than you are to buy a whole new moisturizer with each active

constantly exploring new and interesting ingredients in serums, provide a lot of variety

sag does not like to be tied down and is always exploring new philosophies

capricorn- facials

while chemical peels and the laser treatments fall under this category, this is less specific, just the overall variety professional facials

capricorn is a very trusted and reliable sign and very wise and pragmatic. they are also a cardinal sign making them ambitious

with professional facials, you are going to get very effective, reliable treatment based on expertise just like a cap

and you expect to see a significant change, reflecting the cardinal qualities.

professionals would alter the facial to meet your needs making it very practical and no nonsense as well.

aquarius- laser and led treatments

aquarius is very innovative and seeks new technology to better the world around them

in more recent years, a lot of new technology is being introduced into the realm of skincare, which all screams aquarius to me but i put laser and led treatments bc they are pretty well known

i feel like new technology could give cardinal sign energy but i think fixed energy makes sense. it indicates a time of focus imo. there is less influence from a changing environment

pisces- cleansing

cleansing has mutable energy to me, i think of taking the entire day’s worth of makeup and dirt and oil off

mutable signs indicate the changing of the seasons, and pisces is the end of winter, like the end of day
