every season of house is the same. it starts fine, and then mid-season house has a drug related problem, and he gets mean, and say awful things, and then maybe he tries to get better. he inevitably fails. he has some closeted gay second plot where all his/wilson's romantic relationships are actually a parallel to their relationship with each other. all his ducklings are imploding. there's someone dying somewhere, but that's not actually important.
