The Daidarabotchi [Japanese folklore; yokai]
Tumblr media
The easiest way to imagine a scary monster is to make it giant. It comes as no surprise then that many, if not most, cultures have some concept of giants in their religion or mythology.
The Daidarabotchi – also Daidarabocchi or Daidarabochi, among other variations – are colossal beings from Japanese folklore. They are a kind of nature spirits and appear in many different stories.
So huge were these giants that their movements shaped much of the world as it is today: when a Daidarabotchi walked, its footprints became ponds or even lakes. Many important Japanese landmarks, including Mount Fuji and Lake Biwa, were said to have been created by Daidarabotchi in the distant past. In fact, Mount Fuji was supposedly built in a single night.
In another story, one of these giants lifted up both Mount Tsukuba and Mount Fuji and placed them on a pair of enormous scales, so he could see which mountain was heavier.
Tumblr media
In the 18th century Kaidan Hyakki Zue, the Daidarabotchi was depicted as a giant pitch-black humanoid creature. I don’t know if this is the first popular depiction of these creatures, but it caught on and became the standard look for these giants.
The Tearai Oni – which literally translates to ‘demon who washes its hands’ – is supposedly a member of this species. The Tearai Oni is a humongous creature known for its penchant for compulsively washing its hands in deep rivers, which it does by bending over backwards.
Among other places, a Daidarabotchi was said to inhabit the mountain Togakushi, which is supposedly a spiritual place inhabited by several kinds of supernatural beings.

Fair City vs The Facility Au
Okay I was talking with melody recently in the dms and I just developed the most spectacular humongous au idea. It combine’s Melody’s and liloskull’s ideas and lore for Carrie and frankenstein bob along with Eris’s lab mouse au plus my becky boxleitner au and the facility Becky au.
So this takes place after the Kid Math episode. Becky is doing her usual patrols as Wordgirl with her sidekick Bob/Captain Huggy Face when one dad they just disappear. The villains start to worry about their missing hero when she stops showing up for their daily battles. The villains get more nervous when the find out that Dr. Two Brains’ daughter Becky and her pet monkey Bob are missing as well. None of the civilians make the connection between them and neither do most of the villains. Those that do well, now is not a time to talk about it with the distressed parent. At this point only Scoops knows about Becky’s secret identity as Rose has not appeared yet and Violet does not know either. She right now is more worried about her missing friend than the missing superhero. Kid Math takes over while Wordgirl and Huggy are gone. But the poor kid misses her too. Soon 3 to 4 months have passed and Dr. Two Brains is an emotional wreck. He has exhumed all his resources into finding his child and nearly thought about holding some people or the city hostage until he got his daughter back. Even Squeaky despite being vicious actually cares about Becky in a twisted way. They both ignore their obsession with cheese until Becky is found. One day, some of the local police find Becky passed out and looking malnourished in an alley way. The problem here is that she doesn’t look no longer humanoid. In fact, some of the doctors at the hospital where Becky was taken had to run some blood tests to identify here. Becky now looks like an anthropomorphic monkey but that is not the worst of it. When she woke up in the hospital, she started freaking out and panicking, acting and speaking like a regular monkey until her dad came to see her. Becky recognized her dad and eagerly went up to hug him and greet him in monkey speak. Soon after speaking to a licensed therapist, Two Brains discovers to his horror that Becky was somehow brainwashed and genetically altered so that she not only looked like a monkey, she thought she was one too and behaved as such. Poor Dr. Two Brains couldn’t even understand his child. She refused to speak human tongue as if she were afraid she would be punished for it. (eris’s idea for the lab mouse au for Two Brains) Dr. Two Brains has elected to working with Professor Robert Tubing in some hopes of returning his child back to the way she was. Even thought Two Brains can physically hold his daughter again and she still recognizes him as her dad, he feels there is a part of her that is still missing. Taken by those heartless people who he swore to make pay if he ever found them.
With Becky, she does have slight aversion to lab coats now. She doesn’t like when her dad wears them and has on occasion messed up his lab coat when he was not wearing it such as burying it or throwing dirt on it. This confirms Two Brains’ suspicions that scientists were behind what happened to his daughter. Becky also has bad nightmares and she spends most of her nights being comforted by her dad. Although Becky still cannot help people like she used too, she still has control over her powers and uses them to do minor good deeds without public eye. Kid Math and Two Brains made the lie that Wordgirl was back on Lexicon for extra hero training to stop people from worrying about the missing hero. Becky still recognizes Violet and Scoops who do their best to make Becky feel comfortable. Though Becky can’t speak she still has her vocabulary skills and will express anger or disappointment if someone misuses words. The henchmen are fine around Becky after getting used to them for a few weeks. Kid Math is surprisingly also recognized by Becky even though they had known each other for a short while. The villains give Becky her space but still help Two Brains anyway they can.
As for how Carrie ties into this. Well after a few months of Becky’s return, she is getting better but has not spoken any human language yet. Tubing and Dr. Two Brains both think and fear it might not just be psychological trauma but also a result of Becky’s genes getting spliced with monkey DNA. They both soon realize that Becky had gotten spliced with Bob’s DNA through blood tests. Also Tubing now knows about Becky being Wordgirl but Dr. Two Brains made him swear to not tell anybody else even though Tubing said he would not risk her hero identity being revealed to anyone. Soon Carrie comes to the city and encounters Becky at Two Brains’ hideout. Even thought TB is first terrified because it is a cat person, he is confused and shocked when Becky seems to recognize her and Carrie calls Becky by their facility numbers which for Becky is 094. After calming himself down, TB confronts Carrie and pleads with her to tell him what happened with his daughter who he was constantly searching for with worry. Carrie, although still not comfortable with talking about her past, tells TB because she senses that he truly cares for his child and was wracked with grief when she disappeared. So the truth is that Carrie and Becky interacted even after Becky could no longer speak human. The way Becky and Carrie both escaped was due to Becky unleashing her powers full force accidentally one day which allowed the test subjects from the facility to escape. Unfortunately Carrie and Becky got separated in the chaos and confusion which is how Becky wound up back in Fair City way before Carrie did. Carrie does become a mom figure to Becky even though Carrie and Two Brains don’t get along at first. Soon the facility rears their ugly head when Franken Bob comes to get back Carrie and Becky.

Did tumblr ate my ask for merman!Bakugou? If yes, can I request merman!bakugou and human!reader? Bakugou wants her so badly that he bites her and she becomes a mermaid. Thank you~~
Fish
Warnings- yandere!Bakugou Katsuki. Reader hates fish(me projecting).
Bakugo’s tail splashed around, a visible sign of his excitement at seeing you, his pretty human, or should he say, his mate?
“Hey, Katsuki!” He heard you call out before you even reached him, jogging up to him.
It was a nice summer day, and you seemed to be glowing in it, so much that he had to shield his eyes for a second when you appeared.
“Tsk, nothin’ better to do?” He spoke nonchalantly, trying to stop his tail from wagging like a mutt. Acting as if he didn’t come here knowing you will at this time to meet him.
You brushed his words off, smile not falling off and halo not letting up.
Your legs(they still looked so strange to Katsuki) squatted down at the rocks at the edge, before you used your hands to stabilize your upper body while your legs did another strange movement before dangling at the rocks and dipping slightly in the water.
You shuddered slightly when you caught sight of his humongous tail. You were more than dismayed when you heard that you will be spending the summer with your granddad in his home on a very remote island. Little wifi connection and surrounded by the creatures you hate most: fish.
You despised them with passion, their slimy skin and soulless eyes make your stomach churn. The same applies to your tailed friend at times, unfortunately.
It really does remind you that he isn’t human like you if the barely visible fins and sharp teeth didn’t hammer the point home. It gave you the vivid image of a big, predatory shark, ready to sink its teeth into its prey.
Oh, but if you manage to get past the painful churning of your stomach and your fear of fish, you get the chance to admire how pretty his tail is. It’s dark orange, with swirls of red and black lines on either side.
Still, you could only do that on a good day when you managed to look long enough without feeling disgust bile in your throat.
“Hey!” He snapped you out of your haze, towards the more humanoid part of him.
“Oop, sorry!” You laughed it off, eyes crinkling happy and back to that dopey look, he’s painfully familiar with.
“You’re such a goof, what were you staring at anyway?” He scoffed, looking at you expectantly.
“Your fins. They make me glad to have legs.”
That piqued his interest, his fins peeking out from beneath the water and splashing slightly as if to express its discontent with being compared to mere legs.
“HAH? Oi, are you outta’ your mind?” He swam around quickly, splashing you with water in his audacious demonstration. He noticed the slight grimace. “Of course fins are better! You can fucking swim with those so easily and...and catch fish and shit. Scratch that, merkind are better than humans in general.”
You looked at him with raised eyebrows, wordlessly objecting his ‘observation’.
“I’m quite content not catching fish, thank you very much. Also, I can swim with my legs.”
It seemed like playful banter to you, but Katsuki was getting quite riled up at an obstacle he hadn't quite anticipated.
If you prefer having legs then...will you ever let him turn you?
How...will he truly be with you then?
With a quick splash, he was at your feet in an instant, reaching for one.
“Lemme see for myself what makes those things so great.”
His fingers poked your toes, spreading the small appendages apart in what one could describe as reluctant fascination.
You drew the line when he tried to put one in his mouth though.
“Eeek” you quickly slid away from him, shielding your toes with a pout.
He blushed, not expecting himself to get so...into this. It’s probably just ‘cause it’s you. Everything about you is nice. Nicer than the other humans he’d observed.
“Sorry” he mumbled, redness spreading to his neck, causing him to avoid your eyes.
You crawled near him again, reaching a palm out to tousle his golden spikes.
“‘It’s ok”
Before long, you were back in your original position, talking and babbling away without a care.
A breeze brushed past, causing the tiniest of hairs to stand up in guard. The sun, which had originally stood proudly in the centre of the sky, seemed so far away now.
“Actually, I gotta leave now.” You went to stand up, but he caught you, holding you in place.
“Why? You usually stay longer.”
“Yeah. But today grandpa is having some guests over, and there’s a guy around my age that he wants me to meet. They should be coming over in an hour. “
Katsuki’s face fell with each word you spoke, he hissed threateningly, a sound you haven’t heard from him in a long, long time.
“Meet him as in, be mates?”
You nodded carelessly, arms folding as if to trap the warmth in as the weather gets breezier and breezier.
“But…you’re my mate.”
The rage in his eyes was something quite foreign to you, you’ve never seen that look on Katsuki, your friendly, merman friend. You shouldn’t have forgotten that he’s partly your worst enemy.
“I have to go.”
All thoughts in Katsuki’s head were dumped into the sea, nothing remaining in his mind but to keep you close. Close to him. Him only.
You screeched loudly as the sharp teeth you feared sunk into your leg, the feeling of a foreign liquid entering your body was the last thing you felt before drifting into slumber, never to wake up the same again.
.........
Will for sure come back to this eventually.

Oh boy, now here comes Nemesis wandering around Tartarus.
Tumblr media
After that very bizarre experience the other night at Tartarus, Minato was hoping that tonight's exploration would be a little bit more normal. While the first ten floors had been business as usual, and even taking out a floor guardian shadow that had prevented them from advancing to the floor. It had been a long successful infiltration tonight and they had made some decent progress. With those ten floors now behind them, he could tell that the team was getting pretty tired, the floor was strangely quiet, but after checking with Fuuka, and she confirmed with him that the floor was clear, he thought nothing of it. Because of how hard everyone had worked, maybe it was best he'd send them back ahead of him, if there were no Shadows on the floor with him, then he had nothing to worry about, or so he thought.
[{ 🦋 }] - "You guys worked hard today, good work everyone, go ahead and return to the entrance without me. I'm gonna take a look around and see if there's anything we can use."
Tumblr media
Once he reassured his friends that he would be fine, they agreed and Fuuka took them back with the power of her Persona since no one had found the access point to leave. Without a worry, the fool began to casually and calmly walk through the halls, his sword still in hand but lowered with his arm while his other hand rested comfortably inside his pants pocket as he took a look around, finding suitcases that either contained an item useful in battles like medicine or chewing soul, sometimes it was even money. It could be anything. Before he could wrap up his search, he heard Fuuka's voice come through, and it was not good news, not at all.
"Minato-Kun, Something very large is coming your way! I don't know what it is, but it isn't a Shadow. Please be careful!"
Tumblr media
[{ 🦋 }] - "Something very large?"
He repeats, the navigator's warning cutting through the calm atmosphere that was now no longer here. A deadly silence, where time feels like it stopped and the sound of everything around you fades before tuning out completely, bringing an eerie chill up your spine. What was it?
And then he heard it, the sound of slow heavy stomping, but not the same kind of stomping like before, this kind sounded, robotic. Like it was walking slow, calm and clearly not the steps of anything human., it doesn't take long before he hears it, a deep voice that seems to roll out, sounding more like a guttural growl just barely making out the words
"S T A A A A A A A R R R R R S S S!"
Tumblr media
Not long after the voice, a large creature with a disfigured face with only a single eye and teeth, a huge humanoid figure clad in some sort of leather that had yellow wraps of some sort, it also had tubes running through its back, large gloved hands, the right one holding what appeared to be a Bazooka. Minato didn't waste a single second quickly turning his back and once again broke into a full sprint as this large humongous creature cased after him, Minato was about to get some distance, but felt something slimy wrap around his ankle and pull him down. Letting out a gasp, he's tugged down towards the ground, hitting his forehead in the process.
Tumblr media
Pained by the bump, he lets out a groan, and before he has time to catch his breath, he's yanked into the hand of this beast, its large fingers beginning to curl around his neck, any second he felt like his neck would snap like a twig if his head wasn't crushed like a watermelon in from the size of his hand first. He had to move fast or this would be it for him.
In a desperate last-ditch effort to escape, before he lets the breath leave his lungs from the pressure, he manages to pull out his evoker and uses the adrenaline to put it to his temple, with a burst of blue energy, Minato summons the Persona: Siegfried who strikes the ground with his sword casting Brave Blade, a move that causes a series of cuts to multiple enemies, but since this thing was large, all the slices were aimed at this creature which managed to wound it causing him to break free as the Persona disappeared back into depths of his psyche.
Minato doesn't stick around near it any longer now that he's free from its grasp and takes off, coughing a bit before recovering and finally getting some distance from it, but it's not long before more stomping is heard, but much quicker this time, this thing was coming, he needed to leave fast. Minato begins to again break into a sprint and quickly connects with Fuuka.
Tumblr media
[{ 🦋 }] - "OHGODOHSHITOHNO FUUKA-CHAN! SAVE ME BEFORE THIS HUGE FREAK GRABS ME!" He shouts, his legs not stopping for a single second, this thing would kill him the next time he was in his clutches, he couldn't afford to stop now.
Not even he could keep his cool right now, he hoped and prayed that nothing else like this would wander into Tartarus, but considering how this was the second unexpected creature, who the hell really knew anymore?

Bigg City Riders!AU + Giant!AU (CH: 1) First encounter
Maybe the first of a couple little stories of what if @bigg-city-riders-au Riders!AU met my Giant!AU. So here’s the first.
Another night and another hunt. The wind was a chilly cold as the season of spring was in the air making the nights freeze and the days shine. Zip was looking around in the estuary to move in closer to the beach side for some maybe unassuming humans, he was about to turn back in to make his way to the sandy slop to water when he caught something out of the corner of his eye. It was much further out around where Lillie was stationed but curiosity got the better of him.
He sailed around only a few kilometres away from Lillie who watched him with interest. Zip had thought he saw something on the water surface when Lillie’s light flashed over it. He turned on his own light to have a look when he saw something reflect back at him. It looked to be an eye much like his own or more similar to a pair of cat eyes, they staired at him and he staired back. After a few seconds Zip grew a little creeped out so he softly hissed at the reflecting dot to see what it would do. Big mistake. No, scratch that, humongous mistake.
What the eye belonged to was massive, and actually excelled in height compared to the switcher tug boat. Very few things could actually claim that over his species so it was reasonable to assume that this thing was a threat. It raised out of the water and looked to at least be standing at maybe sixteen meters, it was humanoid in shape and stood on the water level as if it were ground. The goliath hissed deeply back at the small switcher causing Zip to panic and sail backwards but not race into the harbor just in case it actually didn’t pursue him.
As Zip was backing up as quickly as he could, Lillie shined her light into the direction of the creature and when the light hit it, it revealed to be a shocking sight.
The creature was almost completely human say for its ears which were long and pointed with almost fin like details running from under them across its neck. It appeared to be masculine in figure and from what Zip could see it had no genitalia, but the most interesting thing was that it had one eye that looked normal, but the other had a pattern of what looked like scars up to it with black sclera and a pupil that didn’t reflect the light. Zip could only stare up in shock as the light that Lillie pointed at the creature illuminated it.
The creature huffed, walked a few steps on the water surface to the side, before doing a dive back into the water with a splash. Zip turned around quickly at this and charged into the harbor, his hunger be dammed for one night, he wanted to live.
As Zip quickly as he could speeded into the harbor he came to a panicked stop at the Zero marine dock. The other Z-stacks looked at him with confusion before a certain person Zip knew well moved toward him. They were a young man in their late teens, having a human torso but his legs replaced with a snakes body and wings on his back appearing to be bat-like except 50% of them had feathers, leaving them to appear like a bird wings but with bat wing digits, his ears also looking like they belonged from a bat as they moved and twitched at the sides of his head. He had wild looking black hair tied up in a few hair ties with some braiding here and there left out, his eyes were an amber and gold mix with cat like pupils. He wore a white shirt with a maroon vest and a black tie, a puff of black fur spilling out of the collar.
He flapped up onto Zip’s bow and slithered up to the tugs head, pressing his body into the tugs cheek. “Zip, jeez what’s got ya so spooked?” the teen asked. “I just saw something while I was sailing around in the estuary, at first I thought it was nothing until it raised out of the water revealing to be a huge human looking thing! It had one normal eye and a weird looking one, it was able to stand on the water and it had these weird cat-like fish hybrid ears. Lillie saw it to! She shined her light on it, I’m not making this up!” The panicking from Zip stopped when the door to the Zero office building opened with a defining thud.
The whole area grew quiet as a figure walking onto the dock in front of the tugs. It was a woman who all the tugs knew well, she was slender yet athletic, sensual and striking. She had physical traits most resembling of a caracal and cheetah, she had cat like ears at the sides of her head appearing to be caracal like and a long silk fur tail like a cheetah but she had markings on her face not to dissimilar of a racoon.
She walked up to before the switcher that was in a blind panic before. “Zip, calm down and go into a little more detail here. How did you find this creature to begin with?” the woman asked. “I was looking around in the estuary using my light to see if any nocturnal fish would reflect their eyes back at me. I did spot something that had its eye reflect back but it just staired at me… after a few seconds I decided to try hissing at the eye to see what would happen, it then raised to the surface breaking the water and then standing on top of it as if there was a lift under it.” Zip explained. “How big was it if you were to estimate?” the woman asked. “Fifteen meters, maybe more…” The woman seemed to give it some thought. “Well I don’t have much to do as of tomorrow. Zanctum, I want you on areal while me and Zorran scope the area. I’d rather this be a dud than risk something unfriendly coming into the harbor.” “Would you like my help?” Zebedee asked. “You have to assist Hercules tomorrow with that heavy goods rush around the coast tomorrow Zeb, don’t worry you know your riders got it.” “And plus, you’ve been looking forward to seeing Prizm this whole week and it’s your turn to bring him home.” Zak reminded his comrade.
It had been 20 years since the defeat of Johny Cuba, and a lot has happened since then. Wildmask had grown up into a powerful shadow mage, a lethal force to be reckoned with almost on par with the tugs she had a part of her fleet, she knew her late mother would be proud. She had become a mother herself as well to two boys during this time, the first being adopted and being Zanctum himself, his birth parents leaving him on Wildmask’s doorstep 15 years ago. The second was biologically hers and that being Prizm that Zak mentioned, the father being the owner of Star Tug and Marine, Logan Star, or as he was now known as Captain Star the 2nd, just as Wildmask was known as Captain Zero the 2nd. Unfortunately, both of the captains prior had met death a few years ago out of old age.
“Suffering stacks I nearly completely forgot.” Zebedee said smacking his face with his clawed anchor. “You think Prizm will come back with a rider mark?” Zug asked. “All of us are completely smitten with that kid, I wouldn’t personally be surprised though I guess hurt he chose a Star over any of us.” Zak said. “Guys, need I remind you when Prizm is old enough he’ll be taking in both fleets? None of you will be Stars or Zeros for too much longer.” Wildmask reminded them. “I still don’t see why Zanctum can’t take the Zero fleet and Prizm the Stars.” Zorran said. “Because I’ve told you guys before I don’t want this whole rivalry thing to go on and I don’t want to be competing against my brother for no apparent reason. If it makes you guys feel better maybe me and Priz can co-own the new business with me being in charge of you guys and him the Stars.” The tugs sighed at the teens logic, it made sense but it wouldn’t be the same.
“Well I don’t know about the rest of you but I want some sleep, I’ll see you all tomorrow for briefing.” Wildmask said walking back to the office building door. “You coming Zan?” she asked her son. “Nah, I wanna stick with Zorran tonight.” Said tug was happy to hear the chimera human hybrid wanted to stay with him. He smiled and lifted his hat for the boy to fly up to.
Zan sprang up from the dock and landed coiling around on top of Zorran’s hair, once he was comfortable he gave a satisfied purr in contempt that signalled Zorran to put down his hat.
Once everyone was happy it was a quiet night for Bigg City harbor.
(A.N: The giant who Zip met was Sea Rouge, I’ll get onto more maybe later and will only be posting it here. Enjoy!)

So, about those murals in the Temple of the False Serpent on Urukayxl, described way back in episode 40...
The one on that far wall, as you come across it, you see a crowd of people. Simple design, but definitive heads and shoulders and legs. You can see the humanoid form, and there are many, many clustered around the base of this mural. Above them, you can see three larger humanoid figures that are haloed by a light or an aura that elevates them beyond this crowd. Three figures. Then over the top of that, taking up probably 60 percent or more of this mural, you see a humongous bird of dark purple flame that is wreathing the sky above this crowd. You see its wings curved upward and then bent down, and where the wings end, fire curls and burns, and the feathers on the edges of these wings definitively come up into a purple and dark gray flame with bits and specks of deep red. At the top where its head looks down, the beak long and pointed, there are three eyes across its face, and in each of these eyes you see set a rather large onyx stone.
Much like the previous one, though some of their shapes have different shoulders. It looks almost like their clothing or whatever their accoutrements are are different. It seems to insinuate a different people. Above them, three more figures stand, shown larger and emanating some sort of radiance or aura. Above that, you see this giant, coiled serpent of scale, fin, and eyes made of amber. Each of these eyes is a separate amber piece about that big around, the size of a large gold piece, all along the coil of its body... On this one, the head of it has three eyes as well, but the body itself has eyes evenly spaced around the entire length of its coiled body.
...as you walk to the other wall, that side of the chamber, there you see a curling, thick worm of some kind. Its folded skin and tooth-like scales burrowing up to produce mountains over the crowd, cliff faces made of stone and rock breaking and about to plummet into the crowd below. There beneath it you see three figures once more elevated, the same wreath around them of some sort of radiance or light. The people below don't seem scared. There's no sign of fleeing or fear, just a gathering. Within this large, terrifying, worm-like creature, its form bulbous with these strange protrusions, these spine-like scales that you can imagine would pull it through the broken earth, you see this ring of teeth that accentuates where its mouth is, and on the inside, where a tongue would be, there instead are three eyes across the inside of its mouth. These appear to be made of some kind of ivory, some polished, white material.
DAMMIT MATTHEW YOU HINTED AT THIS FOREVER AGO.

A stranger beheld the sight of four, humongous humanoids. Appearing to be turtles — and by god they are intimidating. She wasn't human either but this takes the cake as bizarre. Daring to brood closer to take a closer look, so her poor eyesight can adjust, risking her anonymity. Although she's pretty sure they've noticed her by now, she kept on the move, eventually curiosities have gotten the best of her.
"Never seen Kappas 'n 'York before." A Celtic accent cooed.

It was a unusually warm early spring night, the current mission for the night had been successful so the trek home was a joyous one. Mike and Don were a rooftop ahead showboating with flips and spins. Leo and Raph were at a more...leisurely pace when the leader scented the air and slowed to a stop.
Raph knew his brother well so when Leo stopped he stopped with him, three fingers going to the hilts of his sai. “What is it Fearless?”
He didn’t respond right away getting his barring's and pointed to the shadows across the building. “We’re not alone.”
A figure emerged slowly from the darkness asking her question. The two wary terrapins eyed the stranger and stayed on high alert.
“We don’t really advertise our presence. So for our sake that is a good thing you knew nothing of us.” Leo asked calmly.

Things I've learned about: Belial
He appears as a man in a suit or a collared shirt with suspenders to me. He's often sipping on whiskey and smoking a cigar.
When not in his "human" form he's a massive dragon-humanoid. He towers to a good height of a building and sits upon an obsidian and molten lava throne that was cooled.
Despite being humongous he is very gentle and will do his best to not hurt you. That is if you deserve it.
Belial loves cats - especially black cats.
Belial loves sex he is a being associated with BDSM and more. Many practicioners who work with him brings this up about him, I didn't believe it until he let me experience it myself.
Belial hates submission - you submit he'll take advantage of it. This is to teach you a lesson. (I have an experience to back this up and I never submitted to him again)
Doesn't want people answering to him but he takes great pride in those who are his loyal followers
Very quiet, he'd rather observe. He responds in a few words or he'll just wave you off so he can continue chilling
He is a business man so if you make a request he'll go about it professionally with you
He can be humored - though I've never seen him smile. I only know by the energy he'll give off when he's amused by me or an action made or something said
He can be intimidating, he knows he is just don't submit
He's usually humorless though and he's very, very patient
Offerings of blood are favored as well as wine
There are stages to how he physically manifests to one and from what I've researched, compared, and experienced - it's off of trust
A very, very strong protector. He will eat, crush, or beat anyone who's harming you
Favorite alcoholic drinks are whiskey, bourbon, and red wine.

A Robot Sent from the Past
S.H.E. System Hologram Explorer
In a solar system far far away, a bright flash of pink lightning. A fully clothed grey haired athletic humanoid stood up at the bottom of an ocean. A sphere of force field kept the water at bay. SHE looked around, hands met humanoid hips, in a huff.
SHE walked for miles along the bottom of the ocean; passing simple early lifeform growths in pastel colours, mouthless anaemic white worms with slight glittered fronds, hot bubbling acid pink gasses flowing. Annoyed at the lack of dry land.
Eventually the ocean shallowed. Eventually a coastline. Eventually sunshine. SHE looked up toward the sun hazy sky, this wasn’t the right sky. Only short spiky red plant likes covered the rocky surfaces. This isn’t the right land. SHE had been expecting a rendezvous of sorts. With the force field humanoid hands SHE crushed some rock, and kept crushing until enough ore could be gathered and a hot forcefield processing of a small amount of metal. Other metals found, components fashioned. A homing beacon constructed.
A gang of space bikers roared into the hazy atmosphere. SHE had manufactured a shot gun weapon. Only one space bike roared away from the hazy atmosphered planet.
A long journey long ago to a small blue planet. Some cave people were dusting and preening a humongous black monolith that occasionally sang to them. SHE landed, the cave people scattered and watched from behind prehistoric boulders. SHE clasped a forcefield humanoid fist and shattered the humongous monolith. The pieces screamed and reformed into a giant curvy voluptuous lactatious black humanoid liquid form. An alien language was spoken between the two humanoids and once more a spherical forcefield was created, this time humongous; that the black liquid form decanted themselves into. With the black sphere keeping pace SHE sat on the space bike and they ascended the blue atmosphere bound for who knows where.

The RockStar
The RockStar made her way through the market, the galactic markets . Star marketeers selling rocket booty. But a secret RockStar was secretly moving through the Moebius people, a mission.
The great universal pandemic had left a hole in the governance of the universe. The normal ‘harmony' that pervaded the universe had been somewhat decimated, and the Moebius people knew it. The rocket bootyneers had been alot more ‘adventurous'. Now chaos threatened Everything.
The Rock stars had always been a network of secret passers, their roles as entertainers had meant they managed to cross the universe unchallenged. They could go places others couldn’t ... their cargo could go places others couldn’t. So things could be smuggled to the right wrong people. But one RockStar, one huge RockStar had a problem. And it’s not easy for one huge RockStar with a secret problem to find a uncompromised solution.
Art if not interupted with adverts could be mind-blowing
Were the lyrics of the RockStars first song, enshrined in a smallish Original piece of a clear plasticised rectangle. The RockStar was trying to get this particular rectangle to a particular Moebius person, a crocodilian Moebius person. Urgently.
A suitable disguise had been secretly, personally, fashioned. As even The RockStar's people could not be ‘troubled’ by the responsibilities or a secret agent Rock Star. She hurriedly, expertly, navigated the oddly, glitterly, amorphously, shaped rocket booty pursued by who knows what in raggedly dark concealing robes. The moebius people also made Moebius extra animated brewed-up robo lifeformesques. And if they ever found out that Rock stars were helping the wrong right people, the universe may become intolerable. A totalistic, militaristic, force powered by uncompromising dark enhanced soul-likes, controlled by the Moebius power hungry. For in this universe power had not been delegated to the artificial intelligences, not the Moebius peoples of this universe freed from Power and all it’s corruptions.
The RockStar had a plan, she must cause some distraction and stow away the plasticised rectangle and return to her luxurious safety. She ran full on into a crystalline assortment of the delicate control panels of some ancient space cruiser. In the resulting crash of crystalline pieces she deposited the rectangle. Perhaps fate will dispose or someone will have to pay a visit to the market.
The RockStar easily reached the safety of fame, the assailants had fallen back, unsure what had happened and how to proceed.
The signal was sent, but the right ‘people' had been watching and were already enlightened. The right people also had uncompromising enhanced soul-forms. All races must be run.
The End

The SuperModels
Five super models run the world...
A marshy bog land of petrified wood, rare ducks and grassy undergrowth funk. For miles. In the centre is a short stumpy tower, with mud-like walls sandy grey, miserable looking. A warm glow in the top windows.
A gathering of the leaders of the four corners of the globe and one super model security chief. No one would suspect the true rulers of a small blue planet.
Cindy looked down at her crystal tumbler of expensive alcohol glumly. Helena was hurriedly gesturing and talking. Two more super models were deciding as well. These women had slowly secretly taken control of all the power systems. And now decided all. A small alarm was heard from the security room next door. Kate went to look. She checked a screen and came back into the main room. We have a small crew of seven visitors, in the marshes. I’ll tool up Kate said.
A small hatch opened up somewhere in the swampland. Out climbed wet suited, highly armed models. They had see in the dark glasses, not made by Channel. Quickly spreading out behind an advancing group of lightly armed wet footed men. Kate signalled ‘do not engage until we hear why they are here' the models followed silently. The men dressed as duck hunters, were not duck hunters; they stopped close to the tower, silence.
A duck squawk was heard in the distance, a hint of the fake about it.
British accents came from the men. One model with a small dish shaped hearing scope on her ear was listening. The words were being relayed to small screens on each of the models arms.
Back in the tower the 4 remaining SuperModels were also tooling up. On a large screen the relayed words were appearing.
The lack of pollution and optimal nutrition of the past had created super humans, never aging, supernatural charm and ruthless attitudes.
Naomi mouthed the words she read on the giant screen.
Claudia looked down the barrel of an advanced super gun. She looked to the screen.
“if we can just gain control of the tower, hold hostage the empresses, we will have the power to create the third British Empire. WOOOOOSH
Kate returned to the top of the tower. Cindy looked at her with sparkling eyes, ‘we have a new challenger’. Kate went into the security room. Tapped on a screen, CANCEL UKIP, a red X flashed through the words, a blueprint of a government building... ‘i will take charge of this particular challenge to our Super position' said Cindy, one hand rising with a Taser.

Ben 10 Alien Design Reviews – XLR8
youtube
For today’s Ben 10 alien review, we have one of my personal favourites, XLR8!
Tumblr media
XLR8’s in-universe species are called Kinecelerans, which come from the planet Kinet. Though in the original series with XLR8 they could talk and act at a steady place, in the newer series they are more jittery and hyperactive and tend to have low attention spans, I don’t know which I like better to be honest, I think the former is less cliche and I still liked XLR8’s character and found it fun back then but the latter can still be fun when done right, though I’ve not seen the latter series’ portrayals so I can’t really say if I like their characterisation better!
XLR8, and by extension Kinecelerans, looks very dinosaur-like and his body plan closely resembles our prehistoric raptors. His head is smoothly crested and armours his head and his ‘often’ exposed face, which brings us to one of the REALLY interesting bits of his anatomy.
Tumblr media
Whenever XLR8 needs to run, he brings down his face shield to help protect his face! And the best part? It isn’t artificial at all, it’s a completely organic function he has! That’s a REALLY cool concept and it helps the face mask has a really cool pattern for it as well. I love how it also all resembles some organic version of a motorcycle helmet whilst perfectly mixing in these elements into a slick head design.
Another thing I wanna talk about is how XLR8 actually runs with wheels, see those little sphere that he’s standing on? Again, not artificial, but completely organic too! And he uses these wheels to help enhance his speed! I dunno how WHEELS can ever be evolved due to their inherently too complex structure, but it’s still a really cool design nonetheless. I really love whenever a design incorporates organic and inorganic elements and manages to blend them together really nicely.
And if anyone knows a thing about me is that I LOVE dinosaurs, and the fact that XLR8 not only resembles one, but also has the smooth anatomy with his spine and torso extending into his tail rather than the tail just happening to be attached is a nice detail that I’m glad they’ve paid attention to.
The look of his hands are also pretty interesting as well with their claw-like fingers all joining up into looking like a jabby spear.
And last but not least, his colour scheme and pattern design, I really like XLR8’s blue, black, and white colour scheme and how it’s used. The angled stripe pattern of his tail is also a neat touch and it reminds me of road barricade tape, which is helped by the flat look of his tail. And you gotta love how his patterns on the torso look almost like a motorcycle outfit!
Overall, XLR8 has probably one of the coolest designs of the aliens, I love how it incorporates elements of a lot of ‘cool’ things such as dinosaurs and motorcycles and smoothly blends it together. And whilst I know XLR8 may not ‘count’ due to all his ‘inorganic’ elements being actually organic parts of his anatomy, I do love the biomechanical elements of his design and how they fit along to his anatomy. Just a really slick and fun design overall!
Tumblr media
XLR8 never appears in the UAF seasons, but he does appear in the opening for UA, not much to say here honestly, it’s the same design.
Tumblr media
Omniverse’s design I have mixed feelings for, it’s the same, but the body shape is more humanoid and the spine doesn’t extend down to the tail as much, but it’s still subtly there which I’m glad they’ve kept. Some parts of his design are noticeably exaggerated whilst some less so, the barricade tape-esq stripes of his tail are now more ordinary stripes which is a tad disappointing to me, but I love how humongous his wheels and head are now and don’t mind the spindly legs so much, I think they’re pretty amusing exaggerations! The added green is also nice, and now that I think back to it, I dunno what I was on about with Diamondhead’s colour scheme in the last review, looking back on it they all honestly seem fine to me, guess my monitor is that bad (but the reboot’s weird green shading still has my contempt and I still feel pride to my recolour of it).
Tumblr media
Reboot XLR8’s design is now more humanoid entirely and that makes me a little sad, but I’m glad the tail still seems to smoothly fit with the rest of the anatomy. His design is very cute though, and I like how separated and more bulbous his eyes look now, it’s adorable to me! I also like how there seems to be more of a texture on his arms now, maybe implying scales! He also has spikes now which I’m neutral towards as I think he’s fine enough without them, but eh, they don’t clutter his design up TOO much and are alright. The colour scheme here is also really nice as well, and I like the extra blue tones!
Once again I like the OS design more, but XLR8’s design throughout the other incarnations are still fun. Like I said before I love the mix of organic and inorganic elements and considering how that crest and his body shape, maybe silhouette wise, resembles and was maybe a G-rated reference to H.R. Giger’s Alien, those elements really fit as well! Just a nice design that you can’t go all that wrong with, as shown throughout his incarnations!

“The Knight and His Faithful Steed”, Part 3 - Combine
Part 2
(OOC: The final part of a three part story on how Luze obtained his summon, Diomedes the Severer of the Dark. WARNING: Mild gore description. I know. I hurt him a lot in this story.) - Feat. Reiga Giou (Fowler) - Odin Norse Mythological reference - Small soundtrack from Final Fantasy X, located within the story
🎵 - (Music to read through this)
Necromancers. Humans that have the power to summon many beasts alike to come to their aid. They will do anything in their power to win at any battles with them, including summoning humanoid Duras known as Opasts. They are to be feared by hunters alike that would oppose them for they are ranked higher than the Lesser Duras.
Such beings are more to be feared in the world of Necromancy. Even the Greater Duras summoned by necromancers themselves. They can be gargantuan, they can be quite small for a Duras size but swift. They can be their loyal companion as Opasts are with their masters. They can cause great amounts of destruction upon their wake. Even going so far as to harm their summoner.
But who is to say that there are no dangers of summoning such frightening beasts to aid them in battle? There are always a greater possibility of the Necromancer’s demise.  Unlike Luka Crosszeria, who created a normal pact with his dragon due to his previous mission on stopping two humongous dragons from causing a ruckus in Niflheim, Luze takes on a more dangerous path to summon a Greater Duras by using a Necromancer’s tome. Through trial and error he alone knows more of his faults and errors of trying an attempt to make the spell work.
However, with his resilience and strong determination we may be able to see if he will succeed or fail; Considering the next attempt will possibly end his life. Hold on to your horses as we take a glance on what lies ahead for The Blade King. I am sorry guys, pun intended ... I will take my leave.
“Are you ready to begin, Luze?” Fowler reassured me. We stood in the middle of the grand room as the candelabras were lit once again. The room still feel as dark as they were during the night, despite the candles calming flames. The air was tense.
I nodded hesitantly and sternly. He handed me the tome that I had used yesterday. I took it steadily and hesitantly as I observed it for a moment. The black and white intricate designs were facing me. I turned around and walked several paces ahead to give myself space. Fowler took a few steps back to watch from afar, but not too far where he can stop whatever spell may repel back at me again.
I took a deep breath as I felt myself more relaxed than I have before. I held the tome with both hands letting the book face flat, horizontally. My arms were relaxed. I closed my eyes. I started to whisper in Enochian. A few moments passed as I continued to chant. The air flowed gently around me. The flames from the candles danced faintly.
I continued to speak quietly in Enochian as green ley lines slowly formed underneath me and rotated slowly. The tome that I held on my hand began to float away slowly departing from my hands and levitated in front of me, opening and flipping to pages and pages until it reached the middle of the book binding. My hands moved on their own as they positioned themselves as if I was in prayer, arms slightly out and palms facing upward. Multiple runes appeared between the lines one at a time below me, then multiple more times. Then another until it completed the pattern.
Fowler stared at me sternly and slightly concerned. His hand curled subtly into fists as he kept his eyes on me. I thought of those words again. The words of my own desires.
Freedom. Escape. Protector. Devotion. Being wanted.
They all somehow manifested to form that creature. That horse that guided me or fooled me. I could not tell. It lead me to my doom where it lured me to my unwanted past. Yet it lead me to salvation when it made my illusionary wounds disappear.
The world in my head began to fade darker. Darker than the shadows again. The strange desolated abyss once more.
My spectral body opened its eyes as I saw the horse immediately in front of me from afar. “You again ...” I heard my spectral self whisper. It took a step forward. Then another as it kept walking towards me. My glare tensed.
As it kept taking steps, the floor where the hooves stepped on, left embers instead of the previous white light the pyreflies emitted. I backed off slightly but only just one step. I knew this was just an illusion. I won’t let it hinder me again. I kept my eyes tensed on it. The horse kept walking to me as the embers still persisted underneath it. The air slowly became hot.
Screams were faint from the distance. I felt my body quivered. My eyes slightly widened as I kept trying to look at the horse still moving to me. The screams grew louder as it echoed and surrounded me. I felt my eyes blur slightly as my head started to pound. My heart started to beat faster. I wanted to grab my head to fight back the headache but I persisted to hold myself still.
But I kept staring forward. I clenched my fist. I slowly closed my eyes. The screams still persisted. The vision of the corpse that tried to grab me. Then another vision of my dying comrade that reached out from afar with his arm stretched out to me. Pleading and crying for help.
But then, I heard different words from him. Did he say something else before his complete demise? Something that I couldn’t make out from my fear, perhaps?   My eye lids quivered as they were still shut in this illusionary world.
What did he truly say then? I focused. Moments passed as I focused on one sound alone. I listened to his voice. The sounds around me from other screams shut off, one by one. The flames that crackled suddenly grew fainter.
“Live!!” My eyes shot halfway wide slightly in shock. “You must live, Lord Luze!! Survive!!” My eyes slowly widened. I look to his direction, but he wasn’t there anymore.
Live. Survive. Freedom. While I was starting to run away. Escape. As I wanted to escape from the black void and my curse. Protector. I wanted to protect myself from my wounds and scars. Devotion. To keep my promise from my fallen comrades that I will remain alive. Being wanted. For those who cared for me whenever I would not need it.
My fists loosen as my hands relaxed. My eyes now tensed once again. What now stood in front of me, wasn’t my dying comrade. Nor was it a white whimsical horse anymore. The shadows reflected from the fire cast over on the ground ahead of me and took form. It started to manifest slowly and materialized, ascending, as the distorted mass slowly shaped itself into the same creature as the white horse.
It was a black bold stallion with red glowing eyes. I stared at it sternly as it loomed over me like last time. The mane flowed like shadowy haze as it blew against the breeze. The flames lessen from being walls, to small trails of fire that only lit the ground for us. We both looked at each other for quite some time until I felt my heart calm. My mind filled with clarity. Live. Survive. My comrades ... My most trusted comrades. My friends ... I will-- ... My right arm began to rise up steadily. I felt myself reaching out to it with my hand. My palm spread out in front of it. My eyes were still. The horse suddenly reared back and stood proudly on its hind legs. It neighed loudly as the echoes from it circled through the air demonically. The area started to disappear once again. The world started to distort now back to reality.
My true eyes steadily open as I stared blankly and glazed. The spell continued. The candles were now dancing wildly as the calm breeze slowly raged into harsh winds.
O Severer of the Dark, I began to say. My voice echoed. Fowler was surprised as he heard my voice. He took a step forward. Cleave those who will do us great doom towards our victory and send them to their salvation. I summon thee in thy name, writ in royal blood of thine fallen king.
Ride, Diomedes ...
The candles bursts into red flames. Fowler looked around the room, shocked. He looked back at me as the ley lines underneath me glowed brighter. The wind became barely visible as it swirled around and entered within the ley lines. Fowler brought one of his arm up to block some of the air that blew against his face. “Has he ... Has he done it?!” As he tried to look.
Just then, the wind slowly died down. The flames from each candle suddenly lessened and immediately gave out. The room was dark. Silent and still. But not as dark nor was it completely silent.
The tome fell down with a soft thud as it closes itself. I brought my hands down gently. I blinked as I gained my senses. Fowler brought his arm down as well. What he saw, he could not comprehend. His eyes grew wide. I looked up myself. I stood there while my eyes also grew wide in disbelief.
🎵 - (Right click the video screen to loop it)
I could not fathom from what I saw. My breath was taken away from what lies before me. A Greater Duras.
Diomedes took the form of a gargantuan black horse. Just like what I saw within my illusionistic world. But it wasn’t just any normal horse nor was it like the Night Mares at all. Diomedes had a blade protruding out from his forehead. Multiple blades jutted out from the sides of his figure. He had eight legs and his body was cladded with skulls on his neck and knees, while the body itself was metallic black like an armored black knight. His face bared fangs while the mane and tail glowed deep blood red flames. Besides the dead candles to light the room now, it was Diomedes’ flaming mane.
I walked to him as if I was in a trance. My gaze still shocked. Fowler ran towards me but he still kept his distance as he still observed, now within a good distance to see and observe more closely. My steps echoed throughout the room as the silence grew more deafening. Diomedes bowed his head down slowly. The blade from his forehead barely touching the ground. I stood still in front of him.
Tumblr media
“Were thou the one who summoned me, writ in royal blood of mine King?” It spoke in Abyssal. The voice was demonically ominous as he was looming over me. I felt myself taken aback slightly and shaken from his presence. I have never known that such a beast as a Greater Duras would be this intimidating. Something grand, majestic, and one of the legendary Pact Beasts to be right in front of me. Was it like this with my brother making a pact with his dragon? I swallowed as I fixed my posture. My hands trembled. I curled my hands into fists to steady them. I took a deep breath and gazed at it. I spoke back in Abyssal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Yes. I was the one that summon you forth. I have summoned you forth if you would have me as your pact master. Hear my plea as I will take your trial so that your blade will rend our foes asunder.” The room was silent. Fowler walked a few steps towards me, amazed by The Greater Duras presence. I stood there firmly, anticipating what this creature would do.  He seem to be hesitant.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Then bestow upon me thine left eye. If thou will gain a thousand wisdoms from me, thou must lose thine unwanted sight so thou may hast thine renewed sight to observe thine enemies and rend those to their salvation. Prove to me thou art worthy to hold mine power. If thou will make such sacrifices.”
Fowler took a step forward as if denying what he understood. I stood there unwavering. My heart kept beating fast. There was nothing I could do now. This was his trial. So he would have my literal eye then?
I looked down as my hand released from fists. They were still slightly shaking as I observed them. But I held steadfast as I relaxed. Fowler looked towards the Greater Duras then back to me, twice again. “Luze!”
I turned around to face him. I slightly smiled as he was worried. “Don’t interrupt. This was my decision from the start. And I will see to it that I will fulfill it.” Fowler was taken aback as he steadied himself and stared sternly but solemnly. I turned back around to look on the floor ahead of me and closed my eyes for a moment. Then I looked up to see Diomedes with a stern glare. If he would have my left eye, then so be it.
My right hand twitched as I looked back down. I steadily took my right hand glove off as I look to my clawed hand. I slowly raised my clawed nails and hovered them to make contact with my left eye lid. My breathing became unsteady as I hesitated.  I felt my fingers shaking, but I took deep breaths to steady myself.
I tried to make this as quick as possible but I knew that the pain receivers will act fast through my nerves. It wasn’t enough to steady myself to relax. I could not turn back now.
I began to dig my nails deep in my left eye. I winced. My left hand quickly grabbed my right wrist as I tried not to pull my right hand away. I took a step forward to balance myself and preventing from kneeling. I whimpered subtly as I kept digging deeper. And deeper. My whimpers grew louder.    Blood poured out from my left eye and onto the floor as my fingers were covered in streams of red. Fowler looked to me in shock, not knowing what to do but to watch as I try not to writhe. The Greater Duras stood ever still. My nail eventually scraped my eye socket as I gripped fully around my eye. I reared back and screamed from how excruciating it was, my hands now shaking. It was but a few moments where I managed to pull my left eye out as quick as I am able to.
I suddenly fell to my knees as my left hand stopped me from completely going to the ground. My right hand now holding onto what was once my left eye from me. I breathed sharply. Blood still trickling down on the left side of my visage. My vision blurred. Fowler wanted to run to my side, but considering that this was a trial, he still had to hold back. He felt helpless to see me through pain again. But it was for better or for worse at this point.
I wearily looked up at the Greater Duras. In the back of my mind I was furious that I had to do this to myself but at the same time, it was a pact that I was willing to make. It was honestly better than giving up my humanity or other unnecessary parts from my body.
Suddenly, black haze built around Diomedes and surrounded the creature engulfing all of his figure. The blade from his forehead disintegrated slowly into black particles to blend in with the haze.  It went around like a small whirlwind until it settled and disappeared. The Greater Duras became the form of the black stallion I had saw. He walked towards me. Hooves softly echoing and clicking on the floor.
Still kneeling down, I raised my weak hand with my eye towards him. Diomedes stopped near my hand as his snout steadily lowered until we barely touched. Something in between us glowed as my right eye widened. The green light flashed brighter and brighter. I had to forcefully close my eye to block out such refulgence. Fowler brought his hand to block out the excessive light.
Then, a moments passed as the light dissipated, dimmed, and gave out. The air died down and the room went completely dark. Fowler brought his hand away. A few seconds later, the lights from the candelabras and the chandeliers lit back up once again, one small flame after another. He looked around him as each candles were lit steadfastly. I went fully on my knees as I looked down with my eyes closed. My arms dropped at my sides. Diomedes was not present anymore.
I brought myself to stand up steadily still. I lifted my head slowly. As I opened my eyes, I saw everything with two eyes once again. My left eye was where it once was before. My left iris flashed and glowed tinted red until the red glow disappeared. The blood that streamed down on my left face still remained. I felt different. I felt more powerful than I was before. However, it was fortunate that I was never the power hungry type. But I felt like some kind of burden lifted from my shoulders.
“Luze!” I heard Fowler say. I snapped back into reality as I slowly turned to face him. Suddenly, a black raven flew above us. We stopped to look up. It made circles around us until it gently floated down towards me. It flapped its wings as it steadily landed on my shoulders. Why would a raven be here?
It wasn’t a moment too soon as it landed where I recognize its presence. It was actually Diomedes who took form as a raven. I had recognize those deep red eyes, the ones that were always ominously staring at me. I reached my hand to pet him.  I stroke at his feathers gently as he fluffed up slightly and gave out few small croaks. I turn to gaze at Fowler and gently lowered my hand from Diomedes.
Diomedes picked at his feathers for a moment until it lifted to the air once again and flew to disintegrate into black haze in thin air, disappearing from us once more.
“... You’ve done it.” Fowler whispered. “You’ve actually accomplished what would be quite impossible for a Duras to even do ...” I looked at him for a moment as I tried to smile. But given how exhausted I was, I couldn’t make out one. “I have ... Have I?” He nodded steadily as he smiled. He was glad I was alright, still alive and standing.
I turned my gaze slowly in front of me as I stared into the blackness ahead of me.  I now have a Greater Duras at my side. One that would stay with me for as long as I live. Though he may defy me one day, I will not let that stray away from my own path I have now chosen.
Brother ...  What would happen if we cross paths again this time? How strong will your dragon be against my steed?
... I dare not think too much into it. However, I was now ready to face him whenever there is a chance that our Greater Duras will clash against each other. As long as I have something to repel such a beast as Luka’s dragon.
I will continue to fight on no matter how long it takes now. Because I will live. Because I will survive.
That is what my comrades would have want from me. And I will hold steadfast unto their wishes forever onward, Riding towards my victory to my own salvation with Diomedes.

Masaki Sako's Entrance Exam
@taiyuu-high-oct
Trumpets blared out from the phone.
Masaki woke up, and leaned off his be to reach for his phone to turn off all five of his alarms. He blinked blearily and squinted to try and identify the time.
Maybe it’s 10:00? God, I really need to stop being so lazy and fix the settings on my phone.
After squinting at it for a few more minutes, he shrugged, and hopped out of bed. Getting the clothes he laid out the night before, he quickly got dressed, and made a mental note to do some laundry once he got home. And buy some groceries maybe, they needed some more. After all, Masaki’s parents were going to be gone all day. He put some bread in the toaster, and ran off to finish getting ready for the day.
Brushing his teeth and his hair, he idly scrolled through tumblr,  and resolutely ignored his contacts case which stared at him accusingly.
Ooh look, new posts about quirked animals! Can’t believe Nezu’s not on that list. Kinda weird, but okay. I think it’s time to go soon, let’s hurry back upstairs!
Masaki jumped as trumpets blared again from his phone, one more alarm set for the express purpose of making sure he wasn’t late.
Well shit.
And now he really needed to boogie. Grabbing his shoes, his prepacked backpack, an his piece of toast, he dashed out the door to reach the last train before it left for the docks.
“Aw shit!” He dashed back inside to retrieve his bag of jewelry, and then finally left, sprinting for all he’s worth towards the train station.
“Good luck on our exam!” yelled his neighbor as he rushed by.
“Thanks!” he yelled back.
Still sprinting he hears a chorus of mutters from besides him and sees a blue haired girl, making large leaps to go at a fast pace.
"Oh no I'm going to be late and miss the last train, if I don't make it I'm not going to get in….."
Having noticed Masaki, she looked up.
"Oh hello! Based on what you're doing, I bet you're running late for the train too, huh?"
Masaki nodded in response, too busy running to respond properly.
She giggled, and he smiled at her.
They got to the train station, and somehow, when Masaki turned to make sure he was getting on the right train, he lost her.
That's a shame. It's kinda sad to ride the train by yourself.
Masaki got off the train, and ran to the docks, hoping that the transportation was not what he thought it would be.
He looked up at a gargantuan boat, with TH printed on it in bright letters.
Of course it's a boat, the school's on an island, dumbass. Ok, so maybe it won't be that long.
"Hey applicants! Be prepared for a 30 min boat trip!"
Yeah, no. It wasn't going to be a short boat trip.
After a long, long boat trip in which Masaki queasily reconsidered all of his life choices to go to school on an island that he couldn’t fly to, they finally arrived at the dock of Taiyuu High School.
The place for hero hopefuls.
Three people welcomed the applicants on a podium, one was a lady with black and white hair, who was kinda scary looking. Another was a deer man in a suit, and the last was a dog.
The dog looked smart.
"Hello! I am Mrs. Chikyu, and I'm the principal here at Taiyuu High. This is the vice principal, Mr Kazumi. Alright applicants! First there's the written test," the lady waited for the groans and moans to subside then continued, "Then there's the practical exam! The practical exam is an obstacle course where you'll have to beat up some robots, save some people, and get to the finish line as fast as you can!"
She paused for their murmurs again."Also, the test is on another island. So be prepared for one more boat trip! But for now, follow either me, or Mr. Kazumi to go your written exam rooms."
Not another one.
All of the applicants finish in record time it feels like, die to the anticipation of the practical exam. And they board one more boat to get to another island.
Masaki sighs as he watches the other applicants mill around, all of which seem much more confident then he was. He started putting on his multitude of jewelry, first the iron ring, then the turquoise necklace, then the silver bracelet, and finally gold earrings.  Masaki glanced disastefully down at himself.
“Man, I haven’t been this mismatched in a longg time.” he muttered, eyeing the shininess of his jewelry in comparison to his drab sleeveless hoodie, sweatpants, and red shoes.
A few minutes later, they finally arrived.
Masaki looked up in astonishment at this humongous facility, that was used only once a year for just entrance exams.
Imagine what the real thing is like, Masaki.
The principal clapped her hands to grab their attention. “Alright folks, let’s get started! Don’t forget, you need to finish one lap through the course! Okay, GOOOO!”
Startled by the abrupt start, everyone froze to look at the principal who only smiled back at them. She shooed them forward, “I said go already! Come on, guys!”
Along with most of the other applicants, he finally took the hint and took off, dashing as hard as he could as he headed for his first obstacles.
It looked like the first zone was an absolutely trashed city. All of it was ruined, with building skeletons, fires, and wreckage, everywhere he looked. He vaguely remembered something about rescuing people from the principal’s first speech, but she skimmed over it so quickly that Masaki definitely could not remember what was said about it.
Masaki was going to fly over the course to get to the end faster, and maybe get to the so called villains a bit faster. He did need a place to jump off from, because while his wings were strong, they acted more like a glider because of his body wasn't completely adjusted for wings.
He ran towards the closest building skeleton with the intent of climbing it, when he stumbled over a humanoid robot.
I wonder what this is doing here. Maybe it’s a robot that someone defeated already?I
A sign flashed on the robot’s chest. It said “Rescue Me”.
“Alright, gotta do what the lady asks.” said Masaki shrugging. He picked up the robot, and ran towards the closest “safe zone” which were marked by the forcefield around it, to keep applicants safe if they needed a break, or to store these “people” to save.
He was almost to the safe zone when he heard a heavy thud. He turned quickly to see what was behind him, and what he saw was a giant robot with a two printed on it, aiming a laser at the person on his back.
Masaki looked up at the robot. “Well, that’s fun.”
The robot made a big show of charging up its laser, and Masaki sprinted into the safe zone to get the person inside. The laser fired seconds after he entered, and it hit the barrier.
He wiped the sweat off his face in his short respite, and launched himself back into the fray, watching carefully as other people used their quirks to destroy robots and move forward, someone was punching very neat holes through the robot, someone appeared to be teleporting robots’ heads off, it was nuts.
Masaki faced down the robot that was firing at him earlier, and eyed it. He already knew what he was going to do, but he needed to be sure that there was enough time for him to do it.
1.
2.
3.
Ok, let’s go!
Masaki started tapping his eyeballs frantically, and activated his quirk, forming two iron and turquoise knives. Dissipating his wings, he whipped out the knives to begin stabbing and climbing up the giant robot. Reaching the top, having barely broken a sweat, he formed a much, much larger chunk of turquoise and started bashing the robots head like there was no tomorrow. Satisfied with his destruction, he dissipated his weapons, reformed his wings, and launched himself off the robot, going on to the next robot that he saw repeating the process on quite a few others.
This is wayyy too easy. How’s this an exam? How many robots have I destroyed? How many people have I rescued? God, I hope I have enough points to pass…. Oh lol, she just fell off that robot!
Masaki had no idea how many he had destroyed, but he figured his point level was getting higher. He had made a few of the robots shoot at each other, and the ones with a 3 on them were easy to trip up. He continued to rescue people both from robots, and from other applicants who were being so stupid with their quirks.
He growled in frustration as he threw up a wall of earth to protect the person he's rescuing.
Like really guys, it's not that hard to just aim!
Cursing as his eyes twitched in pain from the dust around him, he reached the next zone, only to find that it’s just a mountain.
Round two, same procedure.
Make knives.
Climb Robot.
Bash the robot’s head in, dissipate his weapons, and glide down.
Rinse, and repeat.
Masaki made it to the next zone in record time, having an easier time making it uphill then the other applicants due to having climbed one of the robots and soaring over the peaks instead of climbing over it like an average pleb.
He reveled in the feeling of the wind through his hair, and wondered what it would be like to really have wings. Wings made of flesh and blood that he could feel.
If only I were more like my parents.
In the midst of his enjoyment, he winced as he realized that he probably missed a bunch of people to rescue.
The mountain came to an abrupt end, as it started steeply plunging downhill, showing a terrain made of different sized rocks. It looked like a landslide. The robots looked like they were having a hard time navigating through the terrain.
I’m going to have to be more careful.
Instead of rushing at the robots like he had earlier, now he went a bit slower, to make sure he wasn't knocking anything down.
He climbed up on more robot, and knocked it out with his usual technique, when he realized that it was collapsing.
Oh no. Oh no no no no.
Masaki watched in horror as he saw the thing tilt and crashdown, underneath him, and frantically leaped off, hopefully to avoid the giant landslide that he was sure was going to crash down and crush something.
He landed several meters away, and braced himself for the inevitable thud.
Only it didn't come. All the rocks remained in their exact positions before the robot had fallen.
Of course they wouldn't make it so it could hurt anybody. I guess the rocks really are stable!
Masaki had glided his way to the last zone, having rescued people and bashed robots along the way, when he came to what looked like a shore line. A big shoreline. There were floating robots with lasers floating around.
He could see the end in the distance, indicated by two bright yellow flags, and saw other competitors heading towards it already, making creative uses of their quirks to get across.
Masaki sighed and blinked his eyes blearily. There wasn't any place high enough for him to glide off of, so he's going to have to swim over to one of the robots and climb one of those.
Damn, I'm so tired.
He sighed, and got into the water, shivering at its cold temperature and began swimming. He agonized at the sight of all the other applicants making much better time than him, and when he finally reached the robot, he didn't even try to do anything cool. He swung up, bashed it with huge chunk of turquoise and called it a day.
He finally reached the top, and reformed his wings for the last time. He jumped and glided down from the robot, almost to the finish line when he saw someone struggling in the water.
It was a person covered with freckles and an awful tie dye job that he had seen earlier in the waiting room.
Oh dear. I think he's drowning. But how is he drowning? I mean, his head is above the water.
With a pang of shock, Masaki swooped a bit lower to see what was wrong, and misjudging his aim, nosedived into the water.
"SHI-!"
The other person, taking no notice of him, continued to struggle in the water.
"Hey-" Masaki coughed. " I'm going to try and get you out, ok?"
The winged boy dissipated his wings, and grabbed onto the other person by the arm, and tried dragging them to the finish line, which was so, so close, but so far away from a kid who had been going full force with nothing but his brute strength.
Why did I ever think I could rescue someone else in the water when I'm this exhausted? Also, why does the person feel like they got stabbed a bunch or something?
Masaki reached down to his feet and created a large piece of plastic to float on the surface of the water with the freckles person.
Yeah, I'm not going to make it. This plastic is only going to last for a few more seconds, I hope someone's going to come out here to come help us.
Masaki felt a weight on the piece of plastic that was keeping them afloat. He looked up to see a grey skinned girl, reaching down and touching the two people. The world spun, and then they landed, thankfully, at the finish line.
Masaki got up from his face plant, and looked at his savior.
"Thank you for saving me!" said Masaki rubbing his neck sheepishly. "Sorry, about that, I didn't mean to mess with your race."
She glanced at him for a moment, muttered something, and walked off.
He watched her leave and shrugged. Let bygones be bygones, right?
Masaki went to crouch by the freckles person, who now that he realized, was covered with holes.
Yup, sure, why not.
The brown haired boy shook their shoulder.
" Hey. Are you doing ok?"
They stirred, and sat up.
"How the fuck did I get here? I mean I know I fell off a robot, but jeez. Did I suddenly gain the ability to teleport?"
" Well, no, but that girl can teleport!" The holey kid with green eyes spun around to look at Masaki. " She got us out!"
"Oh that's good," They sighed, and frowned. "What do you mean, we?"
Masaki grinned sheepishly and blinked hard to try and clear his vision. "Um, I tried to rescue you? And I started drowning myself?"
He snorted. "That's one way to go."
Masaki grinned. "Yup, it sure is. Isn't it super cool that we made it! I hope we passed! And..."
The two walked off together towards the main building, and waited for the rest of the applicants.
".... And that's how my quirk works!"
The Principal butted in, and announced to the crowd of kids.
"Alright guys! See you next time! Your results will come in the mail in a few days! Good luck!"
With that, they were delivered back to the docks.
Masaki returned home to an empty house, and finished his chores for the day. He left a note for his parents telling about his day, and took off all his jewelry.
As he fell asleep, there was only one thought in his mind.
And now we wait.

There's some commotion in the kitchen. A strange humanoid figure that has some big boobs runs out. I mean some serious honkers. A real set of badonkers. Packin some dobonhonkeros. Massive dohoonkabhankoloos. Big ol' tonhongerekoogers. Big bonkhonagahoogs. Humongous hungolomghononoloughongous. In the human creature's mouth is a pack of shredded cheese. In one hand is a spray bottle. Another figure chases after them, before Scraps appears with a broom.
"GET OUT OF OUR KITCHEN-"
(@ask-underfazverse changed it only slightly cause lazy-)
best stories are often rewritten and retold. Birthing new tales from the old. Let us start at the beginning, like we did before.
But in a way, that is new. Let's have fates change once again, in a new but familiar way. But try again, in a more realistic way.
A mysterious figure hides in the shadows, behind Willy weasel. There is no possible way for him to have gotten inside without anyone noticing, and yet he did. The stranger brings attention to himself. "Heya.... don't cha know how to greet a new pal? Turn around and shake my hand..."
Willy turns around, looking down at him. He puts on his animatronic personality facade. "Well, hey there! We don't get a lot of other animal pals here! Name's Willy! Willy the Weasel!" He shakes his hand.

I’ve been doing a lot of blogging about Lone Wolf, but here’s why I actually don’t recommend this short story: There are a lot of descriptions of women in this story with a focus on how gross and super unattractive they are.  While there are one or two examples of men or undetermined genders get similar descriptions, the vast majority are focused on women and after awhile it started to add up.  Initially, I thought, well, it’s just the author’s style, it’s part of the STAR WAS IS TOTALLY GRITTY AND GRIMDARK, YOU GUYS thing that the story seemed to have going on. But eventually it was just a little too focused on women and how ew gross they were. The other thing that keeps me from recommending this is definitely part of that STAR WARS IS TOTALLY GRITTY AND GRIMDARK, YOU GUYS about the Sith that show up in the story.  Who are all Darkness and Chaos, very much with the capital letters to let you know the significance of it. There is a line in this book, as the two Sith are chasing Obi-Wan down, and the woman of the pair things about her relationship with the man and this is what she thinks:  “And now, Kenobi's death was about to become the perfect consummation of their annihilative love.” THEIR ANNIHILATION LOVE. There is one really, really great moment at the end and if you don’t mind spoilers, you should at least skip to the end to read the final bit.  IT’S MY FAVORITE.
-  He spotted a decrepit wretch of humanity sitting in a crumpled heap by the saloon entrance, like some tragic mascot for the establishment. The hag - practically hidden within her oversized moon-moth-eaten robe - seemed hard at work on some craft. Yet, sensing Obi-Wan's advance with a beggar's honed instincts, she extended a gnarled hand for alms. -  Obi-Wan's heart was racing at lightspeed; the fetid stench from a nearby waste shaft - or this molding crone, he couldn't tell which - assailed his nostrils. -  The alms taker licked her shriveled lips. She held up a crooked yellow-nailed finger and bent it twice toward herself. Cautiously, Obi-Wan leaned closer. -  Looking even greasier in her coveralls than the Kaleesh, and as archaic as Old Vima, the humanoid was favored with an elongated cranium, bulging yellow eyes, and a wine-colored face wrinkled like she had spent far, far too much time in a Hutt hot tub. She resembled a leather-skinned Weequay except with hypothyroidism and a monstrous brain tumor. -  The wrinkle-faced woman rubbed her filthy hands together with a fermenting degreaser, and blue residue dripped from her furrowed fingers. - "Master Flat-flesh," the prune-face retorted, enunciating the slur with saccharine tenderness. "If she was, you wouldn't be trying to pawn her off on some brainless bishwag on Nar Shaddaa, now would you?" So the humanoid wasn't as brain damaged as she looked. -  A look halfway between insult and incredulity contorted Zegundis' mummied face. -  His hand moved faster than her sickly eyes could follow, seizing her tumorous head and stabbing the Force into the sensitive repository of her mind. -  There they were: the trio of obese Gamorrean sows he'd seen earlier, their jaws dribbling spittle onto swollen breasts, mixed indiscriminately with the mucus seeping from their porcine snouts. Their axes slapped happily into meaty green mitts. -  What he saw there were the same three Kyuzo toughs that he'd also seen in the vicinity of the cantinas. Muttering in their metal-weave vernacular, they escorted a trio of grotesque frog-dogs. The humongous wart-covered beasts strained against yellow laser-leashes, gnashing their splinter teeth and wagging fat tadpole tails in hunger. Though supposedly sentient, this disease-bearing litter frothed pink from their mouths with Cyborrean rabies. -  He had encountered Kyuzos before: startlingly agile martial artists, a group such as this was a match for any two Jedi. But these particular wiry-muscled specimens were undoubtedly go-zeki. Though wearing the species' prototypical oxygen masks and skirts, the flesh of these bare-chested brutes was not olive but charred orange: the remnant of a sadistic initiation process that was a testament, along with their fiber-chained razorhats, of their nefarious allegiance.  -  Meanwhile, their two-legged amphibicanoids appeared only slightly less ravenous than the drooling Gamorrean ogresses in the alley to Obi-Wan's right. -  He cursed that old fossil Vima-Da-Boda, certain she had betrayed them after all. - The Gamorrean pig-women charged.Frightening bulks of jostling, caroming muscle and fat hurtled headlong toward Obi-Wan and Luke. And the Jedi Master fully obliged them.As the crazed sows bore down on him, vibro-axes raised, Obi-Wan reached out with the fingers of his uninjured hand.
- She and Fomadu had devoted their lives not just to each other, but the path of Chaos - that Ur-dream before and beyond all things in which the sum of realities interbreed. The Dark in which all originated and would return.
The Great Void, they understood, was the only truth. Their necromancing master had taught them that. It was the emptiness Mei knew when Kenobi took her father Sukarr's life. And it was that same unbeing, within her, that had led her to Fomadu's, conjoining them on Malo VI like two perfect black holes sucking at one another's abyss.
Fomadu had given her purpose, and their cyborg master had given them hope, forged in the sanctifying chrism of blood and vengeance.
It was Darkness, yes, but not death they worshipped. Revenge was her lifeblood now. Even so, all these facets - the Dark, Chaos, the Great Void and even elemental vengeance - were mere viewports, expressions as superficial as coordinates on a map. Sensual metaphors for the one true and unintelligible Ur-dream.
And each other.
The destruction of the Jedi Order by Imperial decree had been the first momentous sign of Chaos favoring Ur-dreamers commitment. And now, Kenobi's death was about to become the perfect consummation of their annihilative love. - Subsuming her consciousness to the Ur-dream, the truth of reality became imminent to Mei. Every moment, every wrinkle of time, was a distortion of the Eternal Present. Possibilities were an illusion, a falsehood perpetuated by belief in an unknowable future.A belief the Ur-dreamers did not concede. - "FIGHT ME! YOU LYING-"
Luke opened his eyes.
Brilliant blue radiance exploded from behind the cradleboard, lancing straight up beyond its length - goring the spot just behind Mei's chin and erupting from the apex of her skull.
Obi-Wan's eyes went wide.
And as swiftly as it had materialized, the shaft of light receded.
Mei stumble - stepped, catching herself.
"Even destiny lies," she gurgled.
The Dark Jedi canted forward, and Obi-Wan lunged for Luke.
Catching the cradleboard in a death grip, the Jedi Master hugged Luke to him, who was thrashing, crying. Very carefully, he removed the object he had affixed to its back with fibercord.
Anakin's lightsaber.
Obi-Wan's last-resort failsafe.
Except, he hadn't been the one to trip the telekinetic trigger.
He stared into Luke's piercing blue eyes.
But was it possible? Such power in a babe? (Old Vima shows up a moment later and it’s never really clear if she was the one who triggered the lightsaber to kill Mei, but this story leaves open the possibility that LUKE SKYWALKER AS AN INFANT KILLED A PERSON WITH A LIGHTSABER.  You guys, I whipped around the corner so fast on that, because THAT WAS HILARIOUS. A BABY LUKE SKYWALKER.  KILLED A GROWN ASS LADY.  WITH A LIGHTSABER.  YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE BADASS?  LUKE SKYWALKER KILLED A SITH WHEN HE WAS A WEEK OLD BABY, HOW’S THAT FOR YOU. LOL.)
