[ He scowls.  She’s going to let him have it now.  But she’s not going to be the only one.  She’ll just be the first.  He’s half-tempted to stay in the tree.  Wait.  She could probably climb a tree.  So he’s screwed either way.  He sits there a little while longer, before he slowly begins his descent onto the forest floor and he braces for the incoming smack he knows she’s going to deliver. ]

[ Kelsey is currently in a tussle with an omega Wolf foolish enough to stick around while his buddies had high-tailed it at the sight of a hunter with a gun full of Wolfsbane bullets. There’s a series of three rounds fired off and the Wolf falls, dead. Kelsey kicks it away from her, coming out of the altercation with only a few shallow cuts along her arm. She’s had a lot worse. Tucking her gun away, ice-blue eyes find Zane — A muscle in her jaw working. ]

“Nae, ya nae be denyin’ t’at.”  Zane tucks his hands into his pockets, watching Isaac, as his tongue rolls over his lower lip.  “Guess ya caught me read-handed, been puttin’ lots of t’ought into what t’ose lips could be good at.”

"Oh, I wouldn’t laugh about something like that. I’m just going to take it as a compliment that you’ve spent so long thinking about just what my mouth might be capable of. Which I’m still not denying."

“But ya would play wit’ me, know t’at much.”  He matches her grin.

"I wouldn’t play with you. Not like that, at least." Her lips tug up a bit crookedly.

Zane knows this one is a were, though not a wolf – quite possibly a cat.  Those eyes.  Might be the give-away.  Just might.  He clears his throat, running a hand through his hair.  He wonders if he can scent what Zane is?  Find out soon enough, right?  “Hey.”
