eidenâs always the fixer, the listener, the problem solver; and heâs great at it donât get me wrong!! he is a wonderful therapist who is self aware and in-tune with the emotions of others. but like.. i need him to know the clan would return the favour at the drop of a hat.
i want.. a polyclan fic where everyone just smothers eiden in love. reassures him in their own ways that they love him, that they respect him, that theyâre here for him, that theyâre appreciative of everything he does for them, that theyâre aware of everything he does for them.
like.. does eiden know that heâs allowed to confide in his clan, tell them his deepest, darkest secrets and not have to worry about being judged?? does he know heâs allowed to fumble and make mistakes, and that no one honestly expects him to live up to the unrealistically high expectations he puts on himself?? that heâs allowed to break down and fall, because there will always be someone to catch him and help him back up??
does he know heâs not alone anymore???
i want to see him learn that lesson. and itâs not going to be an easy lesson to learn, after spending basically his entire life being the only person he could truly trust and depend on. heâs stubborn, because he needs to be in order to protect himself. at least he thinks he does. he doesnât, not anymore. but thatâs a tough thing to just.. come to terms with.
itâs a good thing heâs surrounded by so many boyfriends that love him with more passion than the sun burns in the sky then, isnât it?? âĄ
slowly, the people eiden loves and looks after will show him that he is loved and looked after too. just little things at first, as to not overwhelm him. yakumo waking him up every morning. garu and karu making sure he finds time to have fun. blade getting him to appreciate every little thing in life. dante and edmond reminding him to rest and take care of himself, and quincy making sure that he does. kuya and rei keeping an eye out for him. small things, barely noticeable actions that have already become part of his every day routine, but also work to convince him that he can trust them. that he can be happy here, and that he deserves that happiness.
#WE LOVE AND RESPECT EIDEN IN THIS HOUSE#PEOPLE WHO DONT LIKE EIDEN FEEL FREE TO FIIGHT ME IN THE STREET#I WILL BEAT YOUR ASS WITH THE POWER OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP#nu carnival#eiden#polyclan#mouser muses

Image descriptions
- written by a visually impaired person
What is an image description?
an image description is exactly what it sounds like, a block of text describing the content of an image. this is important for many people but especially for blind and visually impaired people who cannot see the image (at least, not well enough to understand what's going on)
(people also cite that this helps people with slow internet, if you add that to this post I am hitting you on the head with a stick. our access to the internet is enough of a reason to add image descriptions, they don't have to help abled people as well.)
image descriptions serve the purpose of providing the same access to content and context in a post that you, a sighted person, have. the goal is to allow equal access for visually disabled people and other people who struggle to access images.
have you ever been stuck scrolling through Tumblr while images are refusing to load? was that frustrating? imagine how we feel every day, all the time.
How to write an image description
writing an image description is a skill. it's okay if you aren't great at it at first. not being great at it is not an excuse to not try. I'm tired of people telling me they can't be assed to try writing an image description because it might not be perfect. I would much rather read an imperfect image description than have no image description at all.
when you're describing an image the key point is to describe what's relevant, what you look at in an image. if the image is a tweet, describe what the tweet says. if the image is a picrew of an alter, describe what that alter looks like in the picrew.
You don't need to include every detail
a lot of guides will, with well intentions, tell you to describe a lot. sometimes, describing a lot is relevant. if you're describing a piece of art or photography then describing a lot is important because the point of the photo is to appreciate all of the photo. if you're taking a selfie, I truly do not care that your walls are blank and white. sometimes, more detail is less accessible. I don't want to scroll through paragraphs up on paragraphs for a photo that sighted people can just glance at and get the gist of.
take for example, this post divider I just used:
you could describe this as: a post divider with a large star in the center surrounded by a halo of the moon phase in gold. 2 horizontal lines come from it in the center with a pattern of alternating sun, moon, sun, and star symbols.
... that's really long. the point for sighted people is to break up the text with something pretty. it's not to admire all the intricacies of the image.
a more appropriate description would be: a star themed post divider
text, on the other hand, should always be transcribed in full. do not describe your DNI banner as "a DNI banner" that tells me nothing. put down all the text, all of it, because all of the text is relevant.
never use AI to write an image description! it's insulting and often inaccurate. problems with generative AI aside, throwing an image into chatGPT and then copy and pasting the sludge it spits out makes me feel like I'm not worth taking a minute to actually write an image description. AI generated image descriptions tend to be impersonal, inaccurate, and hard to follow because it just throws up all the random details it picks up on rather than describing the point of the image. with the editing required to fix a chatGPT image description you could have written your own and it would be better.
I truly cannot write an image description
ask for help. if you have no one you can directly ask, add a note to your post asking for help writing the description when you post it. when someone writes a description for you, copy and paste it into the original post. there is no such thing as image description theft, the point is accessibility. you can't steal accessibility. copy and pasting is not just okay it's encouraged!
on other people's posts (regardless of whether or not you can write an image description) you can often find image descriptions in the notes. taking a minute to check for image descriptions before reblogging an undescribed post is something fast and kind you can do for the people who need image descriptions. often you'll find a description and then hurray! that inaccessible post is now accessible!
....but I don't have any followers who need image descriptions!
yes you do.
if you truly don't it's probably because none of them can access your blog. fix that and suddenly you will have followers who need image descriptions
why is this in the pluralgang tag? none of you describe images.
Questions are encouraged
(if you have any)

Pick a Card Weekly Reading - Jan 6 25
Relax your eyes and notice which of the 3 lower piles they're drawn to. pick the pile that calls to you
The Alleyman's Tarot
Take what resonates, leave what doesn't
Universal Cards (Top)
Justice sideways, The Lovers
This reading 2 cards jumped for me while doing my initial shuffle. they are general cards describing in a grander sense what applies to all.
Justice, sideways: The balance is tipped. There are wrongs that are in need of righting. This card can go either way, you have the power to tip the scales in your life. Look inside yourself, what immediately jumped to you reading this? Perhaps it's interpersonal, financial, or more broadly political. This card calls for you to do work.
The Lovers: You are missing something in your life. You are longing for its presence, perhaps even its return. All this, yet you have love in your life already. You underappreciate this love, you fail to truly foster it. Love is like an succulent, it requires the most delicate handling and care. Remember to water it.
Take these cards with you through your next reading, connect the dots. These cards are meant to be read together but I will leave you, the querent, to find their meaning in your life.
Pile 1 (Left)
The Moon reversed, Lightning in a Bottle reversed, Ten of Attention reversed
You're in a social hole in the ground. You are surrounded by people who are entirely indifferent to you while you crave their attention and praise. You live off of their love for you but your source has run dry. The people you depend on are slowly growing distant from you. you feel desperate and are grasping at anything to keep them.
It's time to leave.
You don't realize how bad it's gotten until you hit a breaking point. You are at your breaking point. You will find joy elsewhere. You will find people who love you and you will find ways to value yourself as a person beyond the praise you receive. You will rebuild your self esteem but first you have to get out.
Pile 2 (Middle)
Strength, The Hawkmoth reversed, Weird Ass Mystical Shit
You are afraid of the unknown. It calls out to you, it threatens you. You are in a predicament and you don't know what the answer will look like. It's beyond you. Some things are not meant to be known. There is kindness in ignorance, fighting against the future is futile. Some things are hidden for a reason. You will find peace when you accept that you are out of control of fate. You cannot alter what happens in the future and you cannot guarantee that you'll know what happens at all. You are seeking answers that no one can give you.
You are strong on your own.
You do not need to know what the future holds because you are a fighter. You are resilient in the face of challenge and when an inevitable struggle appears you will have the energy and passion to survive it. All people will encounter trouble in their lives. It's up to you to survive it.
Pile 3 (Right)
The Magician, Four of Wands, Ouroboros
There are two sides of you right now, the side attempting to balance the many aspects of your life and the side that wants to curl up under the covers with some hot tea and a nice book. You are seeking refuge from your obligations and in the process you are eating yourself alive. You are creating your own doom.
It's time to start juggling.
It's wonderful to seek refuge in comfort but it must not come at the expense of the rest of your life. When you find yourself sleeping through too many days the neglected obligations will come knocking. it's just a matter of time. break the cycle, pick up that envelope you've been meaning to read, make that phone call, write that email. it's time to bring productivity back into your life.

As soon as Deadman left, Phantom allowed himself to enter his Keep to further investigate the damages. The entire upper-right wing had been changed, as well as some of the colours in the throne room and the courtyard, though nothing more than that.
The Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep remained untouched in the crypt below the Keep, the traps in the surrounding maze of catacombs were still primed and unactivated.
The Crown of Fire and the Ring of Rage stayed on Phantomâs person at all times, so he didnât worry about those. However, Fright Knightâs sword had been moved. Instead of the middle of the room, the pumpkin was sitting on the throne.
Hm.
Unfortunately, Phantom knew exactly who was behind this. How he hadnât suspected earlier, he didnât know, but the unnatural changes to his Keep were a dead - ha - giveaway.
While heâd be locked Outside Time, Plasmiusâ human half had died, leaving him as a full ghost. He took residence in the Realms, not allowing even the vultures to enter his lair. The Realms had told Phantom that Plasmius spent time traveling, though most of his time was split between his lair and Ghostwriterâs Library. Now it made sense.
Being King gave Phantom a lot of passes when breaking rules. Pariah Dark had had and abused the same power, so he did everything he could to follow the same rules everyone else did. This was the exception.
Entering another Spirit or Ghosts Lair without a clear invitation was unheard of and only done with full expectation of retaliation. Kind of like signing and breaking a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
This is not one of those times.
Phantom left his Keep as it was. Fright Knight was there, so he wasnât too worried about it. He was quick to fly to the door leading to Plasmiusâs Lair, and even quicker to enter. Plasmius would know the second he opened the door, but he didnât care.
At least he wouldâve known about his company if heâd been there.
Phantom made his way into the empty Lair. It was almost an exact replica of Vladâs basement lab, which was very unsettling. There werenât any clones toddling about, but there was a cloning station. And in place of the perfectly functioning portal from the basement lab, the mere skeleton of the frame stood. It was a truly pathetic attempt to replicate the portal without the blueprints, but it made Phantom wonder why it was the way it was. Vlad had designed those blueprints with his parents, had built a portal with so many more limitations than he had in the Infinite Realms, so why?
The Realms pulled at him, urging him to go to Walkerâs Prison. Plasmius wasnât there but heâd undoubtedly get the hostile invitation to the Keep.
âWhy didnât you tell me it was him?â Phantom asked the Realms as She took him to the Prison.
âI was having fun,â She answered, though She had no voice.
âSo putting the lives of hundreds of Living People in danger is fun to you?â Heâd never been truly mad at the Realms until this moment. It was odd.
There was a frown in Her not-voice. âShould lives have been in danger, I wouldâve told you.â
âLives are in danger!â
âYou forget that I am All, and therefore I know All. You and your heroes would have figured it out with or without mine and Lady Gothamâs help.â
âYou put her up to her riddles?!â
âNo. Sheâs just like that.â
Phantom sighed as the Prison came into sight, trying to calm himself as best he could.
Landing on the pale green island, Phantom knocked on the door and waited for the proper invitation to come in. When he was permitted entry, he followed the path to Walkerâs office.
âPhantom,â the Warden greeted.
âWalker,â he nodded back, âYou have on your list the name Raâs al Ghul, yes?â
Walker paused for a moment at the name before he started rifling through the papers around the room. Eventually, he held one up, âYeah, but he still ainât here.â
âThereâs a cell waiting for him, yeah?â
âObviously.â
âPerfect! Because heâs on his way.â
Walker blinked. âExcuse me?â
âHeâs been using excess energy thatâs leaked into his world from the Realms as a kind of faux immortality. Itâll catch up to him eventually, but recently heâs decided to try and access the Realms themselves.â
âAnd youâre going to drag him here yourself?â
âNaturally,â
Walker grinned. âWhy donât you let me drag him through? I may not have your Kingly powers, but this technically falls under my Obsession.â
Phantom laughed with him. âGo right ahead, Warden, you may interfere with the Living Realms through the Lazarus Pits at this time.â
There was a crackle of thunder and the Realms seemed to shiver. The lavender glow in the room started to fluctuate between dim and bright as Walker concentrated, reaching through the leak and grabbing a hold of his target and pulling him through.
Two people came through the rip in reality just before it closed.
âRaâs al Ghul,â Walker said, manic grin still in place, âYouâre under arrest for crimes against the Realms. With her as my witness and King Phantom as your judge, you are to await trial for your crimes.â
âTalia al Ghul,â Phantom said, âYou are not yet meant to be here.â
âA simple case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.â she answered.
Phantom hummed. âYou will be taken to Gotham to serve as parol.â
âParol?â
âYour time will come. For now, you have a child to care for.â
The Realms was quick to take Talia away, giving her to the care of Lady Gotham.
Walker, meanwhile, was having the time of his life with Raâs. Heâd taken the man to his cell, reading the Realms equivalent of Miranda Rights and handing his sentence.
âFor what crimes am I here!â Raâs demanded.
âCrimes against the Realms and Her King,â Walker said.
âWhich are?â
âI donât have to tell ya a thing,â Walker leaned in close to the bars, âThe Dead work by different rules than the Living. Learn âem.â He walked away then, reveling in the protests of his new inmate.

one of the reasons it's really hard for a lot of intersex people when intersex topics are on the news cycle is because the public's reaction reveals how little anyone knows or cares about intersex people, including people who call themselves our allies. almost every time intersex topics are trending, the discourse surrounding them is filled with misinformation. people who only learned today what the word intersex means jump into conversations and act like an authority. endosex/dyadic/perisex people get tripped up over things that are basically intersex 101, with tons of endosex people incorrectly arguing about the definition of intersex, who "counts," DSD terminology, and so much more. i've seen multiple endosex people say today that they've been "warning intersex people" and that we should have known that transphobia would catch up with us eventually, which is an absolutely absurd thing to say given the fact that consistently over the past ten years, it has often been intersex people sounding the alarm on sex-testing policies and also the fact that many, many intersex people are also trans, and already are facing the impacts of transphobia. there is an absolute failure from the general public to take intersex identity seriously; people seem not even able to fathom that intersex people have a community, history, and our own political resources. instead, endosex people somehow seem to think they're helping by bringing up half-remembered information from their high school biology class which usually isn't even relevant at all.
and this frustrates me so fucking much. not because i want to deny the impacts of transphobic oppression--i'm a trans intersex person, trust me when i say i am intimately aware of transphobia. this frustrates me because there is no way we can achieve collective liberation if our "allies" fail to even engage with basic intersex topics and are seemingly unaware of the many forms of intersex oppression that we are already facing every fucking day. if you are not aware of compulsory dyadism, if you are not aware of interphobia, if you are not aware of the many different ways that intersex people are directly and often violently targeted--how the fuck do you think we're going to dismantle all of these systems of oppression?
if you were truly an intersex ally, you would already KNOW that this is not new, and would not be surprised--interphobia in sports has been going on for decades. you would know that we do have a community, an identity, a history--you would have already read/listened/watched to intersex resources that give you the background information you need for allyship. you would know that although there is a really distinct lack of resources and political education, that intersex people ARE developing a political understanding of ourselves and our oppression--Cripping Intersex by Celeste Orr and their framework of compulsory dyadism is one example of how we're theorizing our oppression. It's absolutely fucking wild to me how few people I've seen actually use words like "interphobia" "intersexism" "compulsory dyadism" or "intersex oppression"--endosex people are seemingly incapable of recognizing that there is already an entrenched system of oppression towards intersex people that violently reshapes our bodies, restricts our autonomy, and attempts to eradicate intersex through a variety of medical and legal means.
you cannot treat intersex people like an afterthought. not just because we're meaningful parts of your community and deserving of solidarity, but also because intersex oppression impacts everyone!!! especially trans community--trans people will not be free until intersex people are free, so much of transphobia is shaped by compulsory dyadism, the mythical sex binary, all these ideas of enforced "biological sex" that are just as fake as the gender binary.
it makes me absolutely fucking livid every time this shit happens because it becomes so abundantly clear to me how little the average endosex person knows about intersex issues and also how little the average endosex person cares about changing that. i don't know what to say to get you to care, to get you to change that, but we fucking need it to happen and i, personally, am tired of constantly being grateful when i meet an endosex person who knows the bare minimum. i think we have a right to expect better and to demand that if you're going to call yourself our ally, you actually fucking listen to us when we tell you what that means.
okay for endosex people to reblog.
#personal#intersex#actually intersex#actuallyintersex#interphobia#intersexism#compulsory dyadism#trans#lgbtqia#transphobia#also to be clear im not necessarily mad about people not knowing or using the term compulsory dyadism. bc that term in particular is newer.#and from a dense academic theory book. so that's something that i understand why ppl might not yet know. i just brought it up as an example#and my main point is less about which specific terms people are using. but more just that endosex people seem incapable of recognizing the#actual material instances of oppression that are already happening. and teh history of that. and the systems#set up to enable it#like idk i don't care if you don't know or use a term if you're otherwise aware and understand how the sex binary is fake and all the#discriminatory ways society then enforces this. and how it fucks intersex people over#you see what i'm saying?

ââââŕ¨ŕ§ââââ
jeongguk didnât wish for his birthday party to look like this.
the second he casually mentioned that his parents would be out of town on the very same day he would turn 21, his small friend group (consisting of the two nerdiest guys in college, probably even battling him for the top spot) took it on them to turn what he imagined would be a calm, quiet night spent with the comfort of jimin and taehyung in front of video games into a contending rival of a literal frat party. in his own house. when he never approved of it, nor asked for it.
thereâs an inestimable amount of faces he has never seen before this moment, but they all seem to know him, congratulating him every time he comes in their vision. then, they go back to drinking, kissing, soft-fucking on his couch, and seemingly pumping up the volume of the music more and more with each blasting and ungraceful song.
that is probably why heâs struggling a bit more than he usually does with breathing. heâs a huge germaphobe, and having all these strangers barge into his space and lean on every possible surface with their greasy, alcohol stained hands has him close to hyperventilating.
he still hasnât figured out how his two friends did it, but they managed to involve what looked like the whole uni into coming at jeonggukâs 21st birthday party like it was an unmissable event. it truly did seem like one, though, the birthday boy looking around in a confused awe and realizing this is all heâs ever missed from his teenage years. meh. not all that.
what really got him struggling to breathe is you. you, the most popular girl in college, talks about you on the mouths of all guys and girls in the hallways, loved yet envied by every single one of them, are here. and when you greeted him, you did so with a kiss for each of his cheeks. he stood there like he truly was going to let his lungs stop working, and you just smiled up at him through your long lashes and big eyes.
youâre not popular for the clichĂŠ reasons a girl in college might be. youâre not mean, you donât square uncool people from head to toe with a judging look, youâre not known to be scary and unapproachable. the reason why youâre surrounded by a devoted swarm of bees is because youâre the literal definition of an angel.
an angel always ready to help anyone who seems like struggling, flash them with pearly whites, and be impossible to resist with bug, wide eyes conveying all your most honest emotions.
youâre known for genuine reasons. heâs never even heard many rumors about you, and if he did he assumed it was coming from way too envious people. the only thing he allowed himself to believe about your privacy, is that youâre very caring in bed.
he wonât admit it, feels disgusting for it, but heâs touched himself to that thought a couple of times. maybe more.
it doesnât matter now, because youâre closer to him than youâve ever been, and you sit in the overwhelming circle that has formed on the floor of his living room, people he has never even talked to proposing games and pushing drinks into his hand since heâs now 21.
unlike most people, that number doesnât mean a lot to him. heâs not that thrilled about the knowledge that he can now get his hands on anything that was previously denied to him, alcohol and substances of those sorts. he never liked them, and he doesnât think he will just because of this newfound freedom.
heâs now getting the full experience when someone, sharp-eyed and drunk on audacity, spots the wooden door to his dadâs wine cellar left slightly ajar and suggests seven minutes in heaven with the kind of enthusiasm jeongguk imagines newton felt when that apple hit his head.
on his right, jimin panics for jeongguk, âyouâre not going to fuck in mr. jeonâs wine cellar.â
âwho said anything about fucking?â dahye, a friend of yours, the complete opposite of you with a mean aura and sliced eyes, intervenes and has everyone laughing.
jimin rolls his eyes and plops down from where he straightened up on his knees, and jeongguk stays silent. he gave up fighting long ago, when the first drink spilled on his carpet.
he just gives a tight-lipped smile when his blonde friend tries an apologetic look, shaking his head and studying the room. jeongguk gulps when his eyes inevitably fall on yours, and he finds you already staring, an intensity he hasnât seen often. when heâs sure heâs perfectly resembling a deer caught in headlights, you tilt your head amusedly, and he hastily focuses back down on his lap.
âwell, since jimin is so afraid weâre gonna break his boyfriendâs stuff,â dahye continues, feeding off the childish chuckles coming from around her, and maybe also off jiminâs annoyed glare, âwhy donât we let the birthday boy go first?â
at that, jeonggukâs head snaps up, his fluffy hair bouncing with the sudden movement, and he looks around wide eyed. heâs not sure what the game entails, he just knows something is supposed to happen, but heâs not sure exactly what the people hungrily gawking at him are expecting.
taehyung is about to add something when dahye interrupts once again, resting her hand on your lap beside her, âhe can go with ___. i know that would make his day.â
sitting at her left, youâre the only one who doesnât laugh at the sneaky implication; instead, you glare at your friend, who shrugs in response.
both jimin and taehyung fall in total silence, their eyes alarmingly looking at their friend in the middle. jeongguk seems a hundred times more panicked, but not because of the same reasons.
while his two best friends are simply excited at the prospect of jeonggukâs every dream coming true, eagerly expecting a positive answer from his mouth, jeonggukâs whole focus is on you, and your seemingly impassive face. his mind spins with haunting worries, giving at least twenty different interpretations to the way youâre looking at him, brows subtly twitching up.
he clumsily parts his lips to say something, but with absolutely no senseful thought swarming his brain, nothing comes out.
a beat of anticipated silence goes by before you gracefully stand up, all eyes following you, and even if quiet, your voice goes through the music, âletâs go, gguk.â
jeongguk loudly gulps, and he hopes the sound isnât heard, but he doubts it since heâs receiving a scary amount of attention that goes over what heâs received his whole life.
if it wasnât for the two guys at his sides pushing him to stand up, he would have stayed with his ass perched to the floor. instead, he stumbles and almost trips, meeting your eyes with awkward shame as you just softly smile at his gawkiness.
you donât wait for him, daintily walking to the room victim of the game, pushing the door open and curiously peeking inside. jeongguk hastily jumps over the people sitting on the ground, still quietly observing the scene, and heâs at your side way faster than the time it took for him to even realize what was about to happen.
he exhales loudly at the proximity, standing behind you and basking in the height difference, your head barely reaching his chest, and he thinks he truly sees heaven when you turn around to look up at him, grinning delicately as you tilt your head back, âwanna go in?â
jeongguk is sure he has lost the capability to speak. no matter the sounds he tries to force up his throat, theyâre not strong enough to fight their way out. he simply closes the door behind the two of you, and heâs glad when it significantly helps drown out the loud music and drunkish chatter.
heâs less glad for it when it means heâs officially left alone with you in a relatively cramped space, the silence almost more suffocating than the room and its strong smell. but heâs convinced you must be an angel when you donât complain, not even slightly, your face the expression of composure.
he stands in the middle of the cellar while you explore it in a circle, letting your heels click on the parquet floor and your fingers carefully brush the wine bottles.
the simple action makes him feel hot, naughty mind conjuring up images of you tracing his skin with such care, and he releases a shaky breath before you can stop him, blurting his messy thoughts out, âweâ we donât haveâ have to do anytââ
âsit on that stool, gguk.â
the command is anything but harsh, your voice a soft melody of calmness, but it still startles him. no, it shakes something in his chest, traveling all the way down to where heâs starting to feel a strong urge.
you point to a wooden stool in the corner of the room, which doesnât look too high, but when he obediently goes to sit on it with his knees wobbling, you promptly place yourself in front of him and grin at the way heâs still almost at face level with you, his forehead reaching only a little under your chin.
his huge proportions compared to yours have always managed to make your head spin and thighs squeeze together whenever you managed to sit next to him in the few lectures you shared, lashes fluttering seductively to have him fix nonexistent bugs on your computer just to see his wide hand close to yours on the keyboard.
now, with his puppy eyes staring up at you expectantly, his drawn up brows only emphasizing his yearning, you need to steady yourself with hands on his shoulder to hold back from quite literally grinding on him. you whisper, âgood.â
his orbs shake impossibly more, and from the corner of your eye you see his fingers fidgeting in his lap, fighting a delirious need. his legs are spread just enough for you to be standing right in the middle of them, but you push yourself further into him, his chin lifting up even higher to never be forced to look away from your firm gaze, hanging from your lips when you voice an apology, âi didnât bring a gift, ggukkie.â
jeongguk is almost panting, the endearing nicknames only adding to the warmth of your sweet body, your vanilla scent clouding his senses and gouging the truth out of him, âthâthatâs okay, ___. iâiâm very happy youâre here.â
you smile, but itâs one heâs never seen on you. itâs not one of those you flash when youâre grateful, understanding, or even amused. itâs mischievous, almost belittling. âare you saying iâm your gift?â
his eyes widen, and heâs ashamed of the way your accusative tone causes him to throb in his jeans, and in his speech too, âhuhâ oh my god. iâm so sorry. that must sound soââ
you chuckle, stroking his broad back with your hands sliding across his width, âhey, slow down. it sounds so very cute coming from your lips.â
jeongguk appreciates your efforts at trying to put him at ease, truly. but your soothing touch and words only have him in a state of alert, even more when your fingers travel up his nape and find home in his locks. youâre impossibly close now, and he feels your voice resounding within him, âbut iâm still not satisfied. i wanna give you more, make you forgive me.â
your whisper fans over his lips, and he unconsciously parts them for you, his eyes hooded by the second and glassed over with desperate want. you smirk.
stepping back enough for his neck to rest at a comfortable angle, he whimpers deliciously at the loss of your touch, but you shut him up just as quickly when your dress is off you and on the wooden floor in a swift motion.
jeongguk is definitely panting now, breathing manually and focusing too much on having his heart pump oxygen for him rather than the view of your exposed body in front of him.
he gradually realizes he could care less about dying right now if it means the last thing heâs going to be faced with is your nipples hardening with the cool, and hopefully something else, and your lacy white panties barely covering your core.
jeongguk stares like a starved man being met with his first meal after weeks of seeking, his hands trembling on his thighs and squeezing into suppressing fists.
his gasp turns into an awfully high-pitched moan when you hook a finger under the hem of your lingerie, sliding it daintily down your legs and walking out of it, never breaking eye contact with him. only thing youâre left with are your high heeled boots.
the next thing you do has the organs that keep all his vital functions going completely stop working, his heart missing more than ten beats and catching up with an alarmingly fast speed, causing his voice to shake, â___, whâwhat are youââ
swinging one of your legs, you sit on him with your ingloriously stained panties pressing right on his crotch, hands placed back on the base of his neck, basking in the way you can feel his rapid beating under your fingers.
you lean into his ear, âif you like what you see, you can put your hands on me, baby.â
jeongguk throws his head back for air, his chest heaving with trembling exhales before he finds your eyes again, and in the fraction of second he needed to look elsewhere if he didnât want to bust in his tight pants already, youâre a whole different person.
your eyes are sliced, pupils blown and hooded, and your parted lips stretch just enough to paint a wicked smirk over your face, its effects flooding right down his stomach and making you feel his hardness through the material.
his hands dance a panicked rhythm hovering over your sides, not sure what to do, not deeming himself deserving of feeling your skin under his touch. but you take it upon yourself to guide them, pressing his palms against your hips and letting them ride up your exposed breasts.
he whimpers, fingertips unconsciously testing the sense of the soft curve of your boobs with a subtle press, but itâs not enough. you canât feel him.
with your hands still on his, you arch yourself further into his touch and have his thumbs slice over your sensitive nubs, letting out a moan of your own that goes over his low groan. you lick your lips and struggle to find your breath and words too, but you whisper them through an already too fucked out smile, âsee? you can touch me, just like that.â
the go-ahead is all he needs for him to dive his head right into your chest, his tongue catching your nipple in an unpracticed hunger, messily sucking on it and quickly leaving your skin soaked with spit. he works clumsily with his hand on your other tit, movements uncoordinated and unsure.
but the fact that he seems to not care about his inexperience, willing to learn right at this moment all it takes for you to keep whimpering and trembling when he touches, has your usually composed senses lost in a haze of desire, the need to give your all to the nerdy boy that is finally being properly touched just as he turns 21 clouding your senses and pushing you to unconsciously buck your hips against his.
he moans with his mouth full of you, his free hand gripping your thigh, and he tries to stop it but he canât help the way he meets your grinding, snapping up as if he lost all sort of control over his body. he quite literally wails in desperation, âfuckâ donâtâ donât do that. iâm gonnaâ oh, god.â
âyouâre gonna cum?â you sound just as crazed, hips rutting at a faster speed on him, the slickness smearing all over his jeans and leaving a wet patch right where his dick stays confined.
âno! iâ i mean, just give me a second, shit. i swear, iââ
âggukkie, this is about you. iâll make you cum, hm? howâs that sound?â the sweet sound of your promise has him seeing stars, eyes squeezing shut as he feels himself getting close to a point he doesnât think heâs ever reached before.
until heâs back to zero.
you lift your hips off his, helping your weight up by placing your hands on his broad shoulders, and you sport a devilish smile when he opens his eyes again, protest ready on his tongue. his brows are furrowed and thereâs tears ready to spill out from his eyelids, but you donât let them.
the huge palm that was still fondling your breast is now being led by you further down, until it disappears between you. you have him cup your wet core, the intensity of the moment only heightened by your gaze never leaving his, âtouch me.â
when panic flashes over his expression once again, you instruct him through it just how you did minutes before, and he quickly gets the hang of it. you always appreciated him being a fast learner, but you couldnât imagine that it would come handy in a scenario like this one.
you hum when his ring and middle finger trace your slit, only to come up to try and find your clit in a surprisingly good attempt, âgood, get all of it. make your hand wet.â
the moment squelching sounds reach your ears, you leave your seat from his lap and stand on your heels again. he whines, unknowingly reaching for you, but you halt his hand and redirect it on the zipper of his jeans. you tilt your chin, âtake them off.â
heâs quicker than he was at the beginning of his seven minutes in heaven now, freeing himself from the tight pants, boxers going along with it, and his cock springs free deliciously, standing tall and proud against his tummy.
you groan, almost already falling to your knees like you are planning to do soon. itâs an adjective you donât think youâve ever used on any of the guys youâve been with, but jeonggukâs cock is pretty. its pink tip matches his lips, swollen from the harsh biting, and it doesnât look rough. it has just the perfect length, girth, and when it twitches under your awe, you see it bend subtly to the right.
you smile, meeting his face again, delirious need written all over it, âstroke your cock with the hand you touched me with,â the second the order is out your lips, heâs already working himself. you can see him trying to go at a merciful speed, his grip loose, and it makes you grin amusedly, âmh, arenât you so obedient. let me have a taste, gguk.â
you clearly have noticed that heâs not as quick on his feet as he usually is, brain clouded, so you once again take it upon yourself to lead his hand, this time introducing two of his fingers in your warm mouth. you hum loudly around the thick digits, eyes rolling back, and you speak around them, âfuck, you wanna try that?â
you donât wait for him to reply, knowing it would get him minutes that you sadly donât have to formulate a senseful answer, and you simply feed him his own fingers, carefully watching the way he lets his cheek hollow around them. you chuckle feverishly, âwe taste so good together, donât we?â
he nods eagerly, eyes glassy with more tears, and you think you can see one drop at the side of his face just as you fall to your knees in front of his seated body, your pretty figure even smaller from his view, and heâs graced with your bug eyes staring up at him through long lashes.
you donât waste any more time, knowing thereâs not much left in the heaven youâve created for your own, and you wrap your ravenous mouth around him, showing none of the previous mercy in your speed.
he lets his mouth hang open, moans uncontrollably loud, and he needs to grab the sides of his stool to get the illusion of some sort of power still left within him. he closes his eyes in bliss, but quickly snaps them open when he realizes what heâs missing.
youâre bobbing your head up and down his length, and you still manage to maintain that dainty elegance that characterizes you, slim fingers gripping around the base and making up for the spots you canât reach. he pants on the verge of a heart attack, pitch high as he begs, âfuck. lookâ look up at me, please.â
you do, aligning yourself better to meet his frenzied state, eyes communicating all the words you canât say, too engaged in having him unravel all over your lips. he groans at the eye contact, thinking back to all the times heâs seen this exact scene flash behind his closed eyelids, and heâs a fool for even believing his mere imagination could compare.
it will never be enough, never again. not after this. not after knowing what you look like as you devote yourself to him, precise movements getting him closer, the way your tongue flickers out to reach down further and how you let his tip meet the back of your throat finally causing him to snap his hips up involuntarily, and before he can say something to warn you, heâs painting your warm mouth with his cum.
ropes of white, hot liquid spill out from you, but you promptly collect all of it, making sure not a single drop is missed, gulping it down with eager want. you wordlessly smile up at him, infatuated with the way his chest heaves and his lips part, trying to regain some composure.
he thinks he will need hours to fully recover. and heâs not even sure he wants this moment to end, blurting his predominant thought out before he knows it, âi wanna make you feel good, too.â
you chuckle as you get up, quickly soothing your knees before collecting your panties from the ground and walking back inside them, âitâs okay, baby. this was my birthday gift for you, hm? besides, we donât have much time left before the others come in.â
âbutâŚâ
jeongguk helplessly watches as you get dressed, cringing at the stickiness of your wet core but nonetheless slipping your flowy dress back on. he just had the best orgasm of his life from the girl he firmly believes to be the love of his life, and he doesnât get to give it back. oh, he feels like an absolute asshole.
you seem to read it all simply by scanning his face fondly, words soft, âthat doesnât mean you wonât get to do that, you cute boy. you will, and soon.â
when youâre done fixing the creases over your clothes, you walk to him and help him back in his jeans. tucking his softening length in, you lift up the zip of his pants and youâre glad for the way the patch of your wetness seems to have dried.
standing between his spread legs, you brush a hand through his hair, tenderly watching the way his curls fall and tickle his forehead. you smile and whisper quietly, âi got your number from dahye. iâll text you, okay?â
he gulps, nodding hastily at your rhetorical question and feeling the blush creep up his neck. god, he must look like a total fool, âoâokayâŚâ
humming lowly, you press your lips to his cheek, then to the tip of his nose, âyouâre so pretty, you know that? donât be sad.â next, your mouth rests on his, molding in a kiss that has his eyes shooting wide, and that ends way before he can even realize whatâs happening. you chuckle at his expression, and you canât resist another peck before promising, âhappy birthday, gguk.â

I've not even gone home yet and the bullshit that is my sister has already began...
My cousin messaged me that she wants to meet up. Told her I can do so and so date but will double check with my sister (who is also home the same time as me) ands get back to her. Cousin says Thursday night sheâs out with the gang and can do so and so. I ask her âoh what gang is this?â She then starts naming my siblings and my other cousinsâŚ
So Iâm like âhey I didnât know about this dinner?â She replied âoh ya your sister said you already have plansâ
First of all, what the fuck. Yes I do have plans but isnât it common FUCKING COURTESY TO TELL ME YOUâRE MEETING EVEN IF I HAVE PLANS??? Like am I being unreasonable to ask for that much????
Secondly, you fucking picked a date I have plans. If I had done the same I wouldâve gotten REAMED for daring to pick a date youâre busy. Instead you did it without even just saying âhey I know youâre pretty busy with your other plans but only day I can meet so and so is this date hope thatâs okâ. This is all I fucking expected and even then I didnât get.
Thirdly, shame on me for thinking people can change, shame on fucking me. For thinking you care about me, for thinking my brother actually cares about me. Shame on me la.
Maybe this is my penance for being a horrible sibling, maybe this is my penance.
#I am so tired#I am truly meant to be alone for the rest of my fucking life#but thatâs ok#because I rather be alone than be surrounded by people who donât care about me#journaling like mac

The music is loud, pulsing through the walls of the frat house as Bucky sits slouched on a couch, one arm draped lazily over the back. The night is already wearing on him, but he knows heâs going to be here until Sam and Steve call it a night, whichâbased on the collection of red solo cups by their feetâmight be a while.
Theyâre all trading stories from the semester, voices buzzing with that blend of laughter and cheap beer. Sam is in the middle of recounting his latest dare when he nudges Buckyâs arm, catching his attention.
âBet you couldnât last a month with someone like her,â Sam says, nodding toward the corner of the room.
Bucky glances up, following Samâs gaze until he spots you. Youâre perched near the bookshelf, alone and fidgeting with your drink as you flip through a book someone left behind. Heâs seen you around campus before, usually with your nose buried in a novel or surrounded by a pile of textbooks. Thereâs something unassuming about you, something quiet and untouchable. His friends know heâs more the type to go for a party girlâsomeone loud, someone who doesnât ask too many questions.
âWhat, the bookworm?â Bucky scoffs, raising an eyebrow. But his friends donât let up, and soon Steve and Sam are egging him on.
âYouâre always chasing the same type,â Steve chimes in. âWhat are you afraid of, that sheâd actually challenge you?â
Bucky laughs, rolling his eyes. He knows he should shut it down, but their teasing digs at him, scratching at that competitive edge thatâs always lurking just beneath his smirk.
âAll right,â Bucky finally says, shrugging. âIâll do it. One month.â
His friends exchange knowing grins, slapping him on the back. But as soon as the words leave his mouth, Bucky feels a strange knot settle low in his stomachâa feeling heâs not used to. He brushes it off. Itâs just a game, a challenge. Itâs not like heâs actually going to care.
The next day, youâre tucked into your usual corner in the library, surrounded by a fortress of books. You barely notice him when he walks up, leaning against the edge of the table with a casual confidence that doesnât match the usual quiet of the space.
âMind if I join you?â His voice is smooth, low enough that you almost have to lean in to hear him clearly.
You glance up, surprised to see Bucky Barnes standing there, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. Youâve seen him around campusâheâs hard to miss with that leather jacket and effortlessly messy hair, the type of guy who always has someone laughing beside him.
âSure,â you murmur, unsure of what else to say as you move your books aside, offering him a seat. Youâre used to people mostly ignoring you here. Itâs your refuge, your sanctuary. So when he sits across from you, stretching out as if he belongs there, it feels jarringly out of place.
âYou look like youâre buried in work,â he observes, nodding at the mountain of papers in front of you. âWhatâs got you so busy?â
You hesitate, but something in his easygoing manner convinces you to answer. âJustâŚassignments. Trying to keep up with everything.â You give him a small smile, your guard still up but feeling oddly curious.
âWhatâs your major?â he asks, and the question catches you off guard. Most people donât bother to ask; they assume or donât care enough to wonder. He listens as you talk about your studies, nodding, asking small questions. Before you know it, youâre telling him more than you intended, falling into an easy rhythm that surprises you.
It becomes a pattern. Over the next few weeks, he finds reasons to run into youâat the coffee shop, in the library, even in the quad between classes. Each time, he stays a little longer, asks a little more, his eyes holding yours with that subtle intensity he wears so well. At first, youâre wary, cautious of his attention. But Bucky is good, easing his way in like he has all the time in the world, his jokes and questions slowly weaving a thread of trust between you two.
And Bucky? Heâs surprised at how much he finds himself drawn to you. Each time you laugh, he catches himself watching, feeling something strange and warm unfurl in his chest. Thereâs a gentleness in you, a quiet intelligence, that keeps him coming back even as he reminds himself this isnât supposed to mean anything.
But the longer he spends time with you, the more he feels the weight of what he agreed to, creeping up on him every time he catches your smile, every time you look at him like heâs someone worth knowing.
He tells himself itâs just part of the bet. But deep down, he knows heâs starting to cross a line he never meant to touch.
Itâs been a few weeks since Bucky started spending time with you, and against every reminder he gives himself, heâs found himself looking forward to it more than he wants to admit. He tells himself itâs harmlessâheâs just getting to know you, just finding ways to pass the time. But he knows heâs lying, especially when he starts finding excuses to see you outside of the library or when he catches himself glancing at his phone, hoping for a text from you.
One night, back at the frat house, heâs lounging with Sam and Steve again, half-listening to their conversation when Sam nudges him.
âSo, Barnes. Howâs it going with the bookworm?â Sam asks with a knowing smirk. Bucky rolls his eyes, trying to brush it off, but Sam isnât so easily deterred. âDonât tell me youâre catching feelings.â
Bucky scoffs, forcing a laugh to keep the truth buried. âItâs going fine. Like I said, a monthâs no problem.â
Sam exchanges a glance with Steve, a wicked grin spreading across his face. âLetâs make this interesting then. If you really want to win this thing, youâve got to take it further.â
Buckyâs jaw clenches. âFurther?â He has a bad feeling about where this is going.
Steve raises his eyebrows. âCome on, Buck. Youâve been hanging out with her, sure, but weâre talking about actually making her fall for you. Ask her out, and, you knowââ He raises an eyebrow meaningfully.
âSleep with her,â Sam adds bluntly, laughing. âSeal the deal, and thereâs two hundred bucks in it for you.â
Bucky hesitates, that uncomfortable knot tightening in his stomach again. He tells himself itâs just a stupid bet. Heâs done things like this beforeâgotten close to people just to prove he could, had plenty of meaningless hookups that never meant a thing. Heâs Bucky Barnes, the guy who doesnât do commitment or complications. But for some reason, picturing it with you makes him feelâŚoff.
âFine,â he says after a beat, his voice steady, betraying nothing of the uncertainty heâs trying to ignore. âTwo hundred bucks. Done.â
The next day, he texts you, his fingers hovering over the keys a little too long before he finally sends, Hey, you free Friday? Let me take you out somewhere nice.
When you see his message, your heart skips a beat. Itâs been a while since anyone has asked you on an actual date, and even longer since youâve felt genuinely excited about someone. Buckyâs been different from the startâwarm, attentive, and surprisingly easy to talk to. Youâve caught yourself looking forward to his company, replaying the moments he laughs at one of your jokes or leans in close enough for you to catch a hint of his cologne.
After a second, you type back, Yeah, Iâd love to! You add a smiley face, feeling almost giddy as you press send.
The days leading up to Friday drag by, each one marked with bursts of nerves and anticipation. You spend a little more time getting ready than usual, finally deciding on a simple but pretty dress that makes you feel confident. When Bucky picks you up, his usual leather jacket replaced with a dark button-up, you feel a thrill of excitement. He looks genuinely happy to see you, his eyes scanning over you appreciatively as he gives you a lopsided grin.
âYou look amazing,â he says, his gaze warm. Thereâs something softer in his eyes, something that makes you blush.
âThanks,â you mumble, smiling as you walk beside him. He leads you to a small Italian place tucked away from campus, the kind of cozy, dimly lit restaurant you wouldnât have expected him to know about. The conversation flows easily between you two, laughter spilling out as you talk about classes, hometowns, and childhood memories.
The night feels magical, almost surreal, and you start to wonder if maybe, just maybe, thereâs something real here. Every time his hand brushes against yours, a spark shoots up your spine. And when he reaches across the table, fingers lightly grazing your wrist as he laughs at something you said, your heart flutters in a way thatâs both thrilling and terrifying.
After dinner, he suggests taking a walk, and soon youâre strolling through the quiet streets, the chill of the night air making you shiver just slightly. Without a word, Bucky slips his arm around your shoulders, pulling you close. It feels so natural, like you belong there.
âYou know, I donât think Iâve ever been on a date this nice,â you admit, smiling up at him, your voice soft.
He chuckles, though it sounds slightly strained. âReally? I find that hard to believe.â
You shrug, trying to brush it off. âI guess Iâve just neverâŚmet anyone like you before.â
Thereâs a flash of something in his eyesâguilt, maybe, or regret. But itâs gone as quickly as it came, replaced with that charming grin. He steps closer, his arm slipping from your shoulders, and you hold your breath as he cups your cheek, his thumb brushing lightly against your skin.
âYouâre pretty amazing, you know that?â he murmurs, his voice low.
You feel like the world has stopped, your heart pounding in your chest. This is the moment youâve been dreaming of, the moment where everything finally falls into place.
But for Bucky, something sharp and painful twists inside him. He can feel the weight of what heâs doing pressing down on him, can see the way your eyes look at him with such unguarded trust, and itâs enough to make his stomach turn. Heâs never felt guilty over a stupid bet before, but right now, the idea of hurting you feels unbearable.
âHey,â he says softly, his hand still on your cheek. âYou trust me, right?â
Your eyes widen, and you nod slowly, too caught up in the moment to notice the tension in his gaze. âYeah,â you whisper, a small smile forming on your lips.
He leans in, pressing his forehead against yours as he takes a steadying breath. âGood,â he says, trying to keep his voice steady. Because if heâs going to go through with this, he tells himself he has to believe that none of it mattersâthat he wonât let himself care. But even as he kisses you, his lips soft and warm against yours, he knows heâs lying to himself.
The days after that first date drift into a series of moments that feel surreal, almost like theyâre happening to someone else. You find yourself checking your phone at odd times, waiting for his texts, smiling down at your screen whenever his name lights up. Bucky is a part of your routine now, and it feels strange, thrilling even, like thereâs this magnetic force that draws you to him despite every bit of caution you try to hold onto.
Every time youâre with him, the outside world fades. He makes you laugh with stories about his friends, leaning in close, his voice warm and low as if heâs sharing some secret just for you. You catch yourself stealing glances when heâs not lookingâat the way his jaw clenches when heâs lost in thought or how his eyes soften when he looks at you, a mix of curiosity and something you canât quite name.
Itâs after one of your study sessions at the library that Bucky invites you over to his dorm room for the first time. He tells you heâs got some old movies youâve probably never seen, and, honestly, heâs rightâyouâd never pictured Bucky as the type to own black-and-white classics, but thatâs exactly what he has, a surprisingly large collection lined up on a low shelf near his TV. He insists you pick one, and soon youâre sitting side by side on his couch, your legs tucked up beneath you, feeling almost shy in the soft glow of the screen.
The movie starts, but his arm stretches along the back of the couch, barely brushing your shoulders. The faintest touch sends electricity through you, but you stay quiet, not wanting to ruin the moment. Then, halfway through the movie, he shifts, glancing at you.
âYou can get closer, you know,â he murmurs, his eyes glinting with something mischievous yet gentle.
Your heart flutters as you scoot closer, until youâre tucked into his side, his arm draped around you in a way that feels possessive yet comforting. He smells faintly like cedar and something distinctly him, a scent thatâs becoming familiar. Before you know it, your head is resting on his shoulder, his hand absently tracing patterns on your arm, and you feel like you could stay there forever.
Time slips by in a collection of small, perfect moments. There are more datesâlittle coffee shops tucked away from campus, a bookstore where he buys you a copy of a novel you mentioned in passing, a late-night diner where you both end up after laughing so hard that you canât breathe. You never expected him to be so attentive, so eager to listen to your stories and learn every detail about your life. He even surprises you with your favorite snack on study nights, tossing it to you with a grin before leaning in close to steal a bite for himself.
One evening, after a long day of classes and a surprise text from Bucky inviting you over, you find yourself curled up on his couch once again. This time, heâs stretched out beside you, one arm tucked under his head while the other rests around your shoulders. His fingers brush against your arm absently, and you canât help but notice how natural this feels. Itâs terrifying, too, the way he seems to melt into your life so effortlessly, as if heâs always been there.
You glance up at him, catching him mid-laugh as he recounts an embarrassing story about Sam, who apparently tried to show off on a skateboard and ended up with a sprained ankle.
âYouâre terrible,â you tease, nudging him with your shoulder, though youâre laughing too.
âOh, come on. It was hilarious,â he insists, grinning down at you. He tilts his head, his gaze dropping to your lips for just a second, and your laughter fades as something shifts between you.
âWhy are you looking at me like that?â you ask softly, your voice barely more than a whisper.
He shrugs, the corner of his mouth twitching in a faint smile. âI justâŚcanât believe youâre real sometimes.â
The words catch you off guard, and for a moment, youâre too stunned to reply. But then he leans down, his lips brushing yours with a tenderness that makes your chest ache. The kiss deepens slowly, each touch feeling like a promise, and you lose yourself in the warmth of his embrace, forgetting every doubt, every insecurity that ever kept you guarded.
As the weeks pass, you find yourself falling harder than you ever expected. Bucky seems to find every crack in your armor, every scar and hidden fear, and instead of pulling away, he draws closer, listening to your stories and letting you into his own in ways that leave you breathless. Heâs there to listen on your tough days, wrapping his arms around you and murmuring words of reassurance. Heâs there on your good days, too, laughing with you, pressing kisses to your forehead as if he canât believe his luck.
One night, youâre back on his couch, cuddled up under a thick blanket as a storm rages outside, the rain tapping against the windows. Youâre nestled against him, his arm holding you close, and heâs quiet, his fingers tracing patterns along your shoulder absentmindedly.
âBucky?â you ask, breaking the comfortable silence.
âHmm?â he murmurs, his gaze dropping to yours, his eyes soft and warm in the dim light.
âThank you,â you say, your voice barely a whisper. âFor everything.â
He frowns slightly, shifting so he can look at you fully. âYou donât have to thank me for that,â he says, his thumb brushing against your cheek. âBeing with youâŚitâs the easiest thing in the world.â
You smile, warmth spreading through your chest, and he kisses you again, slow and soft, like heâs savoring every second. Itâs moments like this that make you feel like maybe, just maybe, youâre finally safe with someone, that this is something real.
But for Bucky, each moment with you is a double-edged sword. Heâs never felt this way beforeâthis calm, thisâŚconnected. Every time you laugh at one of his jokes or lean against him, trusting and unguarded, he feels that awful twist of guilt, the memory of that stupid bet lurking in the back of his mind.
Heâs supposed to ask for more. Thatâs what Sam and Steve were expecting, werenât they? They wanted him to win the bet, to seal the deal and prove he could pull this off. But every time he thinks about going further, about pushing this relationship into a place where he canât turn back, he feels that nagging ache, that quiet, gnawing feeling that heâs crossing a line he canât uncross.
He knows he needs to tell you. He needs to come clean, but every time he opens his mouth, the words get stuck in his throat. You look at him with those bright, trusting eyes, and he canât bring himself to shatter the way you see him. So he holds his silence, hoping that somehow, he can bury the truth forever, that maybe youâll never have to know.
One evening, as youâre lying together on his couch, you let out a contented sigh, resting your head on his chest as his hand traces lazy patterns along your back.
âBucky?â you whisper, your voice soft.
He glances down at you, his fingers pausing as he meets your gaze. âYeah?â
You hesitate, then take a steadying breath. âIâŚI think Iâm falling for you.â
The words hang in the air, vulnerable and open, and for a second, his face goes still, his eyes widening just slightly. Then, his expression softens, and he tightens his arms around you, his hand coming up to cup your cheek.
âYou have no idea how much that means to me,â he murmurs, his voice thick with emotion. But as he kisses you, the warmth of his touch hiding the flicker of guilt behind his eyes, a single thought haunts him.
She deserves the truth.
That night, Bucky barely sleeps, lying awake with the knowledge that heâs in far too deep to ever come out of this unscathed. Every soft breath you take beside him reminds him of how much heâs risking by staying silent. He knows he has to tell you, but heâs terrifiedâterrified that this fragile, beautiful thing youâve built together will shatter, that youâll look at him with betrayal instead of trust.
In the morning, he makes a decision. Heâll find a way to tell you, he promises himself, but he wants one more day, one more memory before he risks everything. Just one last perfect day where he can pretend that none of it was ever a lie.
So he takes you out, leading you down to the pier just as the sun begins to set, casting the sky in hues of pink and gold. You laugh, leaning into him, and he wraps his arms around you from behind, resting his chin on your shoulder.
âItâs beautiful,â you murmur, watching the waves lap against the shore.
âYeah,â he replies, his voice soft. âIt is.â
But as he stands there, holding you close, he knows that the beauty of this moment is fleeting, that the truth waiting in his chest is too big to ignore. And tonight, when he finally gathers the courage to tell you, he knows thereâs a chance heâll lose you forever. But for now, he lets himself savor this last quiet moment, memorizing the feeling of you in his arms, the warmth of your laughter as it fills the air.
For now, he holds onto the hope that maybe, somehow, youâll understand.
The sunset fades, leaving the world painted in muted purples and blues, but neither of you seem ready to break away from each other. Bucky holds you close, feeling the steady rhythm of your breath against his chest as if itâs his own. He knows he should say somethingâthat he needs to say somethingâbut the words seem so impossible now, tangled up in his chest. The truth would ruin this moment, shatter whatever heâs built with you. And so, he tells himself it can wait just a little longer.
As the evening slips into night, Bucky leads you back to his dorm room, his hand intertwined with yours. You can feel the heat of his palm, the way his fingers wrap around yours as if he never wants to let go. The air feels charged, every touch electric, each shared glance simmering with something that feels fragile and exhilarating. Neither of you says much, as though speaking would break the quiet spell between you.
Once youâre inside, Bucky hesitates. He turns to you, his expression vulnerable, softer than youâve ever seen it. "You donât have to stay if you donât want to,â he murmurs, his thumb brushing against the back of your hand.
âI want to,â you say, the words escaping before you can even think. Thereâs no hesitation in your voice, only a gentle certainty that makes his chest tighten. The way you look at him, so open and trusting, makes his heart ache with a mix of guilt and longing.
Buckyâs eyes search yours, lingering for a moment that stretches into forever. He reaches up, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear before his fingers trail down to your jaw, cradling your face as if youâre something fragile and precious. Slowly, he leans down, capturing your lips in a kiss thatâs softer than any before. Itâs unhurried, tender, as if heâs savoring every second.
The kiss deepens, and you can feel yourself melting into him, your heart pounding so hard you think it might burst. His hands move to your waist, steady and grounding, and he pulls you closer until thereâs no space left between you. You can feel the strength of him, the warmth radiating through his clothes, and it makes your head spin.
Before long, you find yourselves tangled together on his bed, the world outside fading into nothingness. Each kiss is deeper than the last, each touch laced with a longing neither of you can deny. Thereâs a gentleness to Buckyâs movements, a quiet patience as he explores the curve of your shoulder, the softness of your waist, as if heâs memorizing every inch of you. Heâs slow and careful, constantly looking at you as if to make sure this is what you want.
âAre you okay?â he whispers, his voice rough with barely-contained emotion.
You nod, feeling breathless but certain. âIâve never been more sure of anything.â
His eyes darken, filled with a tenderness that makes your chest ache, and then heâs kissing you again, deeper this time, his hands skimming over your skin with a reverence that leaves you feeling cherished. You lose track of time, surrendering to the way he makes you feelâsafe, wanted, like youâre the only thing in the world that matters.
When you finally fall back against the bed, your bodies wrapped around each other, youâre exhausted yet filled with a warmth that feels all-encompassing. The reality of what just happened settles in, but instead of feeling nervous, you feel at peace, secure in the quiet intimacy that has grown between you.
Bucky shifts beside you, pulling you closer until your head rests against his chest, his arm draped protectively around your shoulders. The steady thump of his heartbeat lulls you into a peaceful daze, and you feel his fingers trace small circles on your back, soothing and grounding.
Youâre both quiet for a long time, the silence comfortable as you bask in each otherâs presence. Eventually, though, you feel a need to tell him something youâve been holding back, something you hadnât planned on revealing but that feels right to share in this moment.
âBucky,â you begin softly, lifting your head to look at him. He gazes down at you, his eyes warm and attentive, as if youâre the only thing he sees. âIâŚI want you to know that this was my first time.â
The words hang in the air, and for a moment, youâre afraid heâll pull away, that heâll think you were too inexperienced or that you should have told him sooner. But he doesnât flinch or hesitate. His hand moves up to gently cradle your cheek, his thumb brushing softly against your skin.
âYour first?â he echoes, his voice filled with a mixture of surprise and something that sounds almost like reverence.
You nod, feeling your cheeks heat as you look down, suddenly self-conscious. âYeahâŚI wanted it to be with someone who made me feel safe. Someone I trusted.â
Buckyâs chest rises and falls slowly as he takes this in, his expression softening. He seems almost humbled, like heâs just been given something rare and delicate. He leans down, pressing a kiss to your forehead before resting his own against yours.
âYou have no idea how much that means to me,â he murmurs, his voice thick with emotion. Thereâs a vulnerability in his gaze, as if heâs holding back a hundred things he wants to say but canât find the words for.
You smile, the last traces of your nervousness melting away. âThank you, BuckyâŚfor making it so special.â
He pulls you close, wrapping his arms around you like heâs afraid to let you go. âIâd do anything to make you feel special,â he whispers, his breath warm against your skin.
You nestle into his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, feeling safe and cherished in a way you never have before. And as you lie there, drifting between sleep and wakefulness, you wonder if this is what it feels like to be truly, deeply in love.
But as you fall asleep in his arms, Bucky lies awake, his heart heavy with the weight of everything heâs kept from you. He knows he should be content, that he should just let himself savor this night and the closeness youâve shared. But the memory of that stupid, careless bet gnaws at him, a dark cloud looming over everything.
He runs a hand through his hair, staring up at the ceiling, feeling torn between the desire to protect you from the truth and the fear that heâs already crossed a line he canât uncross. The realization that you trusted him enough to give him something so deeply personal makes the weight of his lie even heavier, almost unbearable. He swallows hard, tightening his hold on you as he resolves to tell you the truthâsoon, somehow, even if it means risking everything.
But tonight, he lets himself stay silent. He closes his eyes, breathing in the scent of your hair, the warmth of your body against his, and allows himself to believe, if only for a moment, that this can last.
The morning sunlight filters softly through the blinds, casting warm, golden patterns across the bed. You stir beside him, your movements gentle as you wake up, and Bucky watches you with a quiet awe, his heart racing as he takes in the peaceful expression on your face. For a moment, it feels like heâs exactly where heâs meant to be.
You blink up at him, your face lighting up with a sleepy smile that makes his chest tighten.
âGood morning,â you murmur, your voice soft and a little shy, as if the night is still too fresh, too beautiful to fully believe.
He grins, brushing a strand of hair from your face. âMorning,â he replies, his voice low and warm. His fingers trail down to your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, and you squeeze back, a shared moment of silent understanding passing between you.
The morning stretches on in a gentle haze of quiet touches and soft words. Bucky makes you coffee, insisting you stay curled up under his blanket while he brings it over to you, and you laugh, watching him with a mix of affection and disbelief. This side of himâthe playful, thoughtful sideâis something you never expected to see, and it makes you fall for him even harder.
Youâre both lounging on his bed, your legs tangled together, talking in low voices about everything and nothing. He tells you stories about his childhood, tales about him and Steve getting into trouble, and you share your own memories, laughing as he reacts with wide eyes and exaggerated shock.
It feels so real, so natural, that you almost forget about everything outside this room, about the possibility that this could be something fleeting. You feel like youâve found a place thatâs safe, a person who makes you feel more like yourself than you ever have before.
But in the quiet moments, when you catch him staring at you with that far-off look, you wonder if thereâs something heâs not telling you, a hesitation lurking behind his gaze. You donât press, not wanting to shatter the peace between you. But part of you wonders if youâre seeing a glimpse of something deeper, something youâre not yet ready to confront.
As you leave his dorm room later that morning, he kisses you softly, lingering as if heâs trying to memorize the taste of your lips, the feel of your hand in his. Thereâs an unspoken promise in his touch, a silent assurance that this isnât the end.
Later that afternoon, you make your way back to the frat house, humming softly as you climb the steps to Bucky's door. You left your notebook there, a little blue book youâre pretty sure youâll need for your upcoming assignment. You barely slept last night, too caught up in the warmth of his touch, the memory of his whispered words that lingered long after you left his dorm this morning. Youâre nervous, too; you feel so much for him that it scares you.
As you approach his room, laughter drifts out into the hallway, low voices filtering through the partially open door. You recognize Buckyâs laugh, the familiar sound stirring warmth in your chest, but the laughter feels different, carefree and loud. And then you hear a familiar voiceâSamâsâcutting through, low and joking.
"Guess she fell for it pretty hard, huh?" Samâs voice sounds amused, lighthearted, as if heâs talking about something trivial.
You freeze, your hand hovering inches from the door. Something about his tone makes you hesitate, a strange, unsettling feeling creeping into your chest.
"Come on, Bucky," Sam presses, âdonât act all innocent now. I saw you this morning, looking like you just won the lottery.â You can hear the grin in his voice, a laugh bubbling beneath it. âSo? How was it?â
Bucky laughs, the sound uncomfortable, but he doesnât argue. âYeah, yeah,â he says, his voice casual, light. âIt was⌠good.â
You feel a stab in your chest, a faint panic that tells you to leave, to walk away before you hear any more. But your feet donât move, and you find yourself listening, every word driving another splinter into your heart.
Steveâs voice joins in, chuckling. âWell, you earned it, man. She had no clue, huh?â
âNo clue,â Bucky murmurs, his voice softer now, almost unreadable. You can picture him there, maybe rubbing the back of his neck the way he does when heâs nervous. But the words are there, undeniable.
Sam laughs again, louder this time. âAnd hey, betâs a bet,â he says, and then thereâs a pause before you hear the unmistakable rustling of bills being exchanged. âTwo hundred dollars, as promised. Canât say you didnât earn it, thoughâyou even managed to get her into bed. Didnât think you had it in you, but here we are!â
Your vision blurs, the words echoing in your mind, distorting into something raw and jagged. Every affectionate touch, every gentle kiss, every whispered promise from the past few weeks twists into something ugly, something unrecognizable. You feel sick, the image of Buckyâs earnest smile, his soft words about wanting to make you feel special, tainted beyond repair. Everything you felt for him, the trust youâd handed him so freely, crumbles beneath the weight of their laughter.
Slowly, you turn and leave, gripping the strap of your bag tightly as you make your way out of the frat house. You donât let yourself cry, not yet, not when you still feel the echo of his betrayal throbbing in your chest, too raw, too painful to acknowledge fully.
Hours later, youâre back in your dorm room, your heart aching as you sit in silence, the truth settling over you in waves. Part of you wants to believe it was a misunderstanding, that maybe thereâs an explanation youâre missing. But the memory of their laughter, the casual way Sam handed him that money, makes the truth impossible to ignore.
A knock on your door interrupts your thoughts, and your heart skips a beat as you hear Buckyâs voice calling your name softly from the hallway. Itâs just him now, his voice hesitant, almost as if he senses that somethingâs wrong. You take a steadying breath, steeling yourself before you answer the door.
When you open it, Buckyâs eyes light up, and he steps forward, a soft smile on his face as he reaches for your hand. âHey, you,â he murmurs, his voice warm. But when he sees the look on your face, he pauses, his smile fading. âWhatâs wrong?â
For a moment, you canât bring yourself to speak. You can only look at him, trying to reconcile the gentle, caring person you thought you knew with the man who took a bet to seduce you. You pull your hand away from his, ignoring the confusion in his gaze as he watches you.
âWere you even going to tell me?â Your voice comes out quieter than you intended, a dull ache threading through every word. âOr were you just going to take the money and pretend it never happened?â
Bucky blinks, his brow furrowing in confusion. âTell you what? IâI donât understand.â
A bitter laugh escapes your lips, and you look away, wrapping your arms around yourself as if itâll keep you from falling apart. âDonât play dumb, Bucky. I heard you. I was at the frat house earlier, and I heard everything.â
He freezes, his face going pale, and you see the truth in his eyes, clear as day. He opens his mouth, stumbling over his words. âY/N, IâI didnât⌠I didnât mean for you to find out like this.â
The admission twists the knife deeper, and you feel yourself trembling as you look back at him, tears stinging your eyes. âSo, itâs true, then? All of it? This whole⌠this whole thing was just for some stupid bet?â
He reaches for you, his expression desperate, his hands hovering just inches from your arms. âY/N, please. Just let me explain. It wasnât like that, I swear. It started that way, but then⌠then it became real. I fell for you, okay? Everything we did, everything we sharedâit was real.â
You shake your head, pulling away from him, the anger and betrayal simmering beneath the surface. âReal? You think that makes this okay? Do you have any idea what youâve done?â Your voice breaks, and a tear slips down your cheek before you can stop it. âI trusted you, Bucky. I thought⌠I thought you cared about me.â
His face crumples, and he takes a step closer, his hand reaching out as if to wipe away the tear on your cheek. âI do care about you. More than anything, Y/N. Thatâs why I wanted to tell you, I justââ
âWanted to tell me?â you interrupt, your voice shaking. âWhen, Bucky? After you cashed in your winnings? After I found out on my own?â
The silence stretches between you, heavy and unbearable, and Buckyâs shoulders sag as he looks away, guilt etched deeply into his face.
âDo you even realize how humiliating this is?â you continue, your voice a mixture of anger and heartbreak. âI trusted you with something⌠something Iâd never given anyone. And the whole time, it was just part of a game to you.â
His eyes snap back to yours, filled with anguish, his voice barely a whisper. âIt was never just a game, not after the first night. I swear, Y/N, I was going to tell you everything. I just⌠I didnât want to lose you.â
âYou didnât want to lose me?â you repeat, laughing bitterly. âYou lost me the moment you made that bet. You had no right to⌠to play with me like that, to make me believe that any of it was real.â
He looks at you, his blue eyes full of desperation, his voice breaking. âY/N, please. I know I messed up. I know I hurt you, but I need you to believe me when I say I never meant for any of this to happen.â
âJust stop,â you whisper, the weight of it all crashing over you. âYou donât get to do this. You donât get to make me feel sorry for you when youâre the one who lied.â
Buckyâs face falls, and he drops his gaze, his shoulders slumping in defeat. âI know. I know I donât deserve your forgiveness. But please, just⌠give me a chance to make it right.â
Your heart aches, torn between the memories of every gentle touch, every whispered word, and the undeniable truth of his betrayal. Part of you wants to believe him, wants to believe that somewhere in all of this, there was something real. But the pain is too deep, the wound too fresh, and you donât know if you can ever look at him the same way again.
âI canât do this,â you say, your voice barely more than a whisper. âI canât just forget what you did. You hurt me, Bucky. And right now, I donât even know who you are anymore.â
He flinches, as if your words physically hurt him, and he nods slowly, a look of resignation in his eyes. âI understand. Iâll⌠Iâll leave, if thatâs what you want.â
You nod, wrapping your arms around yourself as he takes a step back, his gaze lingering on you one last time before he turns and walks toward the door. Just as he reaches it, he pauses, his hand resting on the doorknob as he glances back at you, his voice soft, broken.
âFor what itâs worth, Y/N⌠I love you. I know I donât deserve to say that, but itâs the truth.â
You donât reply, staring at him with tear-filled eyes as he finally steps out of your dorm, the door closing softly behind him. The silence that follows is deafening, and you sink to the floor, the weight of everything crashing down as you realize that the person you thought you loved never truly existed.
The days blur together in a haze of heartbreak and emptiness. You go through the motions, attending classes, completing assignments, and showing up to study groups, but it all feels mechanical, like youâre on autopilot. Itâs as if something inside you has shut down, leaving only an echo of who you were before you met him, before he became the center of your world.
It doesnât take long for your friends to notice the change. They ask if youâre okay, if something happened, if maybe you just need a break. But you give them the same answer each timeâa nod, a small smile, and an assurance that youâre just tired. Itâs easier than explaining the mess of emotions tangled inside you, the hurt that seems too big to fit into words.
Late at night, lying alone in your dorm room, you can still feel the warmth of his arms around you, the softness of his voice in the quiet hours when heâd whisper promises you thought would last forever. The memory feels cruel now, tainted by the knowledge that it was all built on a lie. And yet, despite everything, you miss him. You hate yourself for it, but you miss the way he looked at you, the way he made you feel safe, special, as if you were the only person in the world who mattered.
Bucky isnât doing any better. In fact, heâs a mess. Days have passed, but the guilt, the emptinessâit lingers, gnawing at him, refusing to let him move on. He can barely sleep, haunted by the look in your eyes, the betrayal, the hurt he put there. Every time he closes his eyes, he sees you, hears the way your voice cracked when you told him you didnât know who he was anymore. And the worst part is, he doesnât blame you. He knows he did this, that he ruined everything, and now he has to live with the consequences.
Sam and Steve notice almost immediately. Bucky, the confident, charming guy theyâd known for years, looks hollow, as if heâs carrying a weight he canât shake. He barely speaks, keeps to himself, and they rarely see him at the frat house anymore. Instead, he spends most of his time shut up in his dorm, a shadow of the person he used to be.
One evening, as the sun dips below the horizon, Sam and Steve exchange a glance, silently agreeing that they need to intervene. They knock on his door, and when he doesnât answer, Sam pushes it open, finding him lying on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.
âHey, man,â Sam says, stepping inside. Steve follows, closing the door behind them as they both approach Buckyâs bed.
Bucky doesnât react right away, his gaze still fixed on the ceiling. But eventually, he sits up, running a hand through his hair, looking exhausted and defeated.
âWhatâs up, guys?â he mumbles, though his voice lacks any real curiosity.
âWe should be asking you that,â Steve says, his tone softer than usual. âYou havenât been yourself lately. Ever since things ended with Y/N, itâs like⌠youâre a completely different person.â
At the sound of your name, Buckyâs face falls, and he lets out a long, shaky breath. âYeah,â he says quietly, almost to himself. âThatâs because I am.â
Sam frowns, studying Buckyâs expression, the guilt etched into every line of his face. âLook, man, we didnât mean for things to get this serious. But if you cared about her, really cared⌠why didnât you just tell her the truth from the start?â
Bucky shakes his head, his hands gripping the edge of the bed so tightly his knuckles turn white. âI donât know,â he whispers, his voice breaking. âI was scared, I guess. I knew Iâd screwed up, and every time I tried to tell her, I just⌠couldnât. I thought I could fix things, somehow, make it up to her without her ever finding out.â He lets out a bitter laugh, shaking his head. âStupid, right?â
Steve sighs, sitting beside him on the bed. âNot stupid, just⌠a mistake. A big one, yeah, but youâre not the first guy to mess up. Youâre just⌠Bucky, this isnât like you. Iâve never seen you like this over anyone before.â
Bucky looks away, a sad smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. âThatâs because Iâve never felt this way before. Not like this. I love her, Steve. And I threw it all away over some stupid bet that meant nothing. I hurt her in ways I canât even fix.â
Sam places a hand on his shoulder, giving it a firm squeeze. âSo what are you gonna do about it? You canât just sit here, wallowing. If she meant that much to you, then maybe you owe it to herâand to yourselfâto try and make it right.â
Bucky laughs, but itâs empty, hollow. âAnd how am I supposed to do that, Sam? She told me herself she doesnât know who I am. She doesnât trust me. I donât deserve another chance.â
Steve exchanges a look with Sam, and then he says, âMaybe. But you canât just give up without trying. If you really love her, Bucky, you have to prove it. Show her that youâre not just the guy who hurt her, that youâre willing to fight for her. And if she doesnât take you back⌠at least youâll know you tried.â
Bucky sighs, leaning forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he stares at the floor. âI donât know if sheâll ever forgive me. I donât even know if I deserve it.â
Sam crosses his arms, his expression softening. âLook, man, I get that youâre hurting. But donât you think sheâs hurting, too? Sheâs probably out there feeling just as broken, wondering if anything between you was ever real.â
Bucky swallows hard, his chest tightening at the thought. He knows youâre hurting, knows you trusted him with something precious, something he didnât deserve. And knowing that heâs the reason for your pain⌠itâs a feeling he wouldnât wish on anyone.
Over the next few days, Bucky wrestles with himself, caught between the fear of making things worse and the desire to show you that heâs truly sorry, that he wants to be the man you thought he was. He writes and rewrites texts he never sends, shows up outside your dorm but never works up the courage to knock. Heâs terrified, but he canât ignore the way his heart aches for you, the empty, gnawing feeling that only seems to grow with each passing day.
Finally, he decides to try one last time. He doesnât know if youâll listen, doesnât know if youâll even give him a chance. But he has to tryâto give you the truth, no matter how painful it might be.
And so, as the evening sun begins to dip below the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow over campus, Bucky finds himself standing outside your dorm, his heart pounding as he gathers the courage to knock. He knows this is his last chance, that this is the moment that will decide everything. And he only hopes, as he takes a deep breath and raises his hand to the door, that youâll give him the chance to show you that heâs not the man who hurt youâthat heâs ready to fight for you, no matter what it takes.
The knock on your door is soft, almost hesitant, but itâs enough to pull you from your thoughts. Youâve been lying on your bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to find the strength to move forward, to somehow patch yourself up after everything that happened. When you open the door, you see him standing there, his eyes filled with an uncertainty thatâs almost heartbreaking. Heâs gripping a small notebook in his handsâyour notebook, the one you left in his roomâand his gaze is fixed on you with a desperation youâve never seen before.
âHi,â he says quietly, his voice barely above a whisper.
You donât reply right away, the sight of him dredging up the familiar ache in your chest. Part of you wants to slam the door and hide, to keep yourself safe from any more hurt. But you donât. Instead, you meet his gaze, forcing yourself to remain steady.
âHi,â you reply, your voice guarded.
He shifts on his feet, glancing down at the notebook before offering it to you. âI, uh⌠you left this. Thought you might need it.â
You take it from him, feeling the familiar weight of it in your hands. âThanks.â
A heavy silence hangs between you, one that neither of you seems willing to break. Bucky swallows, his face creased with an anxious, uncertain look that makes him seem vulnerable in a way youâve never seen before.
âCan we⌠can we talk?â he asks, his voice almost pleading. âPlease. I know I donât deserve it, but I just need to say a few things. If you donât want to listen, Iâll understand, and Iâll leave you alone. I just⌠I need you to know the truth.â
You hesitate, but finally, you nod, stepping back to let him into your room. He steps inside, closing the door softly behind him, and takes a seat in the small chair by your desk while you remain standing, arms crossed protectively over your chest.
For a moment, he just looks at you, his gaze heavy with regret. Then he sighs, running a hand through his hair.
âI know you have every right to hate me,â he starts, his voice barely steady. âI know I messed up in ways I canât even fix. And I know⌠I know what I did was horrible. I justââ He swallows, his throat tight. âI just need you to know that it wasnât all a lie. When we started this⌠when we first got close, I didnât expect any of this to happen. I didnât think Iâd feel the way I did.â
You look down, his words stirring a fresh wave of pain in your chest. âBut it was a bet, Bucky,â you murmur, your voice trembling. âYou⌠you did all of that just to win some money. To you, it was just a game.â
He flinches, guilt flashing in his eyes, and he nods. âI know. I wonât make excuses for itâI was stupid, and I hurt you. But somewhere along the way, it stopped being about the bet. It stopped being a game. And I started⌠I started caring about you, more than Iâve ever cared about anyone.â
You feel tears prickling at the corners of your eyes, but you force yourself to keep your voice steady. âThen why didnât you just tell me the truth?â
He sighs, running a hand through his hair again, his expression tortured. âBecause I was scared. I was terrified that youâd look at me the way youâre looking at me now, that Iâd lose you. I know that doesnât make it better, but itâs the truth. I tried to find the right time, tried to find the right words, but I kept putting it off, thinking maybe⌠maybe I could make it up to you before you ever found out.â He looks down, his voice breaking. âBut that was stupid. I shouldâve just been honest with you from the start.â
You take a shaky breath, feeling the full weight of everything heâs saying. Part of you wants to believe him, wants to forgive him, but the wound he left is still fresh, still raw. âI trusted you, Bucky,â you whisper, your voice barely audible. âI thought⌠I thought what we had was real.â
He looks up at you, his eyes filled with a desperate sincerity that takes you off guard. âIt was real. For me, it was real. And I know that doesnât change anything, but I need you to know that. I never meant to hurt you, and Iâll spend as long as it takes to make it up to you if youâll let me.â
You study him for a long moment, searching his face, trying to find some indication of sincerity, something to show that heâs truly sorry. And when you see the remorse in his eyes, the sadness that mirrors your own, you feel something in your chest soften, just slightly.
âBucky,â you begin softly, forcing yourself to stay strong, âI canât just go back to how things were. I canât pretend this didnât happen. You hurt me more than anyone ever has, and itâs going to take time for me to get past that.â
He nods, his expression resigned, but he doesnât look away. âI understand. And I donât expect you to forgive me right away. I just⌠I just want the chance to prove to you that Iâm more than the guy who hurt you. Even if we canât go back, I want to be there for you, even if itâs just as a friend.â
You let his words sink in, feeling a flicker of hope amidst the ache in your heart. Part of you still longs for what you had, for the closeness you shared, but you know that you canât rush back into it. If Bucky truly wants a second chance, heâll have to earn it, piece by piece, day by day.
âMaybeâŚâ You hesitate, feeling vulnerable but determined. âMaybe we can start as friends. Just⌠friends. No promises, no expectations. If youâre willing to do that, to rebuild things from the ground up⌠then maybe, someday, Iâll be able to trust you again.â
Relief floods his face, and he nods, a small, hopeful smile tugging at his lips. âIâll take that. Anything youâre willing to give, Iâll take it. Iâll prove to you that I can be better. Iâll prove that Iâm worth your trust.â
You give him a tentative smile, and for the first time in days, you feel a flicker of hope. Itâs small and fragile, but itâs enough to remind you that maybe healing is possible.
Over the next few weeks, Bucky becomes a constant but careful presence in your life. He shows up when you need help with an assignment, offers a listening ear when you need to vent about a long day, and joins you for coffee on campus, keeping the conversation light and easy. He respects your boundaries, never pushing for more, never expecting anything beyond friendship. Youâre surprised at how attentive he is, how willing he is to wait, to prove that heâs serious about making things right.
Slowly, the walls around your heart begin to crack. You start to feel comfortable with him again, to let your guard down, if only a little. You catch him glancing at you sometimes, a soft, almost wistful look in his eyes, as if heâs seeing something precious he thought heâd lost forever. Itâs in these moments that you remember why you fell for him in the first place, why his smile used to make your heart race, why his touch felt like home.
One day, as youâre both sitting on a bench by the campus pond, he turns to you, a hesitant smile on his face. âI know weâre just friends right now, and Iâm okay with that. But I want you to know that Iâm grateful for every moment I get to spend with you, even if itâs just like this.â
You feel a warmth spread through you, a sense of peace you havenât felt in a long time. âThank you, Bucky,â you say softly. âFor not giving up. For being patient with me.â
He reaches out, hesitating for a moment before resting his hand on yours, his touch warm and steady. âIâll wait as long as it takes. Iâll prove to you that Iâm here for you, no matter what.â
And as you look into his eyes, you feel a flicker of something you thought was lostâa tentative, fragile hope that maybe things could be different this time. That he could truly be the person heâs trying to be, the person you wanted him to be all along. And though you know thereâs a long road ahead, youâre finally willing to take that first step with him, trusting that maybe, this time, he wonât let you down.
The night is alive with music and laughter as you step into the crowded frat house. Itâs your first time back here since everything happened, and you canât deny the nervous flutter in your stomach as you take in the familiar scene. But tonight feels differentâBucky is by your side, watching you with a gentle smile as he guides you through the chaos of people, his hand warm and steady on your arm.
Over the past few weeks, things between you and Bucky have been slowly mending. Heâs proven himself time and time again, showing up when it mattered, respecting your boundaries, and never pressuring you for more than you were willing to give. Heâs become someone you can lean on, someone whoâs earned back your trust bit by bit. And, to your own surprise, you feel something new blossoming between youâsomething deeper, stronger, and more genuine than before.
When you reach the main room, you spot Sam and Steve near the keg, both of them giving you a thumbs-up as soon as they see you with Bucky. You laugh, rolling your eyes, but Bucky just grins, shrugging as if to say, Theyâre harmless.
âGlad you came tonight,â he says, leaning closer so you can hear him over the noise. âI was worried you might skip.â
You shrug, glancing up at him. âWell, I figured it was about time I faced the frat house again.â
He chuckles, a warm, rich sound that sends a spark of something familiar through you. Itâs the same feeling you used to get when you first met, when you were just getting to know him, before anything got complicated. Only now, it feels even betterâbecause youâre finally on solid ground with him, without secrets or lies standing between you.
As the night goes on, you find yourself enjoying the party, laughing with friends, and even dancing a bit. Bucky stays close, his presence a comforting, steady anchor amidst the noise and chaos. Heâs attentive, offering you drinks and glancing over every so often to make sure youâre comfortable. And every time you catch his gaze, you feel your heart race just a little faster.
At one point, as youâre talking with a friend, you feel Buckyâs hand gently touch your arm, and he leans in close, his voice soft and intimate against your ear. âWant to get some air?â
You nod, letting him lead you through the throngs of people until you step out onto the back porch. The cool night air is a welcome relief from the warmth inside, and you breathe deeply, taking in the quiet calm of the evening. Bucky leans against the railing, watching you with a soft, almost nervous smile, his hands tucked into his pockets.
âIâve been wanting to tell you something,â he begins, his voice low and steady, as if heâs thought about this moment a thousand times. âI know weâve been rebuilding things, and I know you wanted to take it slow. But, Y/N⌠being with you these past few weeks, even just as friends, has been everything to me. And I canât stop thinking about you. About us.â
Your heart stirs at his words, and you feel a warmth spread through you, a sense of longing thatâs been building quietly since the day he asked for a second chance.
âBucky,â you say softly, stepping a little closer. âI⌠I feel the same. Itâs been hard, letting go of the past. But I thinkâno, I knowâIâve forgiven you. Youâve shown me who you really are, and⌠I like that person.â
His eyes brighten at your words, and he reaches out, his hand brushing your cheek as his thumb strokes gently across your skin. He leans closer, his gaze searching your face as if to make sure youâre truly ready for this.
âCan I kiss you?â he whispers, his voice barely audible in the quiet night air.
You feel your heart skip a beat, and you give him a small, almost shy nod, your pulse racing as he leans in, closing the distance between you. The moment his lips meet yours, itâs like the world melts away, leaving only the warmth of his touch, the softness of his mouth against yours. Itâs gentle at first, tentative, as if heâs afraid of breaking the spell. But as you respond, his hand slips to the back of your neck, pulling you a little closer, deepening the kiss with a quiet, aching intensity.
When you finally pull away, he rests his forehead against yours, both of you catching your breath, sharing a smile thatâs equal parts relief and joy.
âY/N,â he murmurs, his voice full of warmth, âI promise, Iâm not going to mess this up again. I want this with youâfor real, no games.â
You smile, reaching up to run a hand through his hair. âGood, because youâre stuck with me now.â
He laughs, pulling you into a tight hug, and you bury your face in his shoulder, feeling a happiness you havenât felt in a long time. Youâre finally ready to move forward with him, to start fresh, knowing that this time, itâs real.
maybe I should've made it more angsty? I love angst, request angst people! lol

Adult Bakugou is worlds apart from how he used to be as a teen.
His prominent scowl is now replaced with a more relaxed expression, and his tense shoulders are now a lot looser.
He is no longer on edge and wishing for everyone's demise, as his years of experience in the pro hero world have taught him patience and empathy.
He's had fan girls lining up for a chance to receive some kind of acknowledgement from him since his first years as a UA student, and it's been -for the longest time- something that further pissed him off and ruined his mood as he didn't need the added attention.
_ "I still cannot believe you're the same guy who yelled at me and stormed out when I first confessed my feelings, at that moment you were as bratty as you used to be when we were still in school." you murmured softly in remembrance, tracing the faint scar on his right cheek, the same one he acquired years ago during that ruthless war everyone still remembers to this day.
To you, he was that one annoying friend whom you had to sit down and listen to while he complained about the countless love letters clogging up his locker, so when the day came -not too long ago- that you shyly revealed your feelings for the man, his reaction was nothing short of expected.
_ "Huh? What brought this on all of a sudden?" he tilted his head to meet your gaze, blinking a few times as a hint of blush dusted the tips of his ears, "besides, I already told you I only reacted the way I did because I thought you were making fun of me."
_ "That's fair, but I'm glad you gave me a chance to explain myself.." you paused for a second to adjust your posture and straddle his slender waist instead of leaning against him like you had been moments before, a smile found its way to your lips as you carried on, "you've really come a long way from the brat you used to be."
His thin eyebrows raised in apparent surprise, but his firm grasp on your thighs remained unshaken, "I have?"
_ "You truly have." a giggle escaped you as you cradled his handsome face, leaning in to place a quick kiss on the corner of his mouth before pulling back to admire the mysterious smirk curving up his lips.
_ "Care to explain?" but he didn't really need the clarification, he is one of the most intelligent people you know, and is sure to have noticed the change occuring in himself without anyone spelling it out, but you still went along with his charade, just to please him.
_ "Well, let's see.." your gaze shifted and lips pursed as you tapped your chin in fake contemplation before continuing, "you're more tolerable now, I mean you're kinda tame and boring like a sweet grandpa, and also.."
_ "Hey come on," he interrupted your obvious trick with an amused chuckle and a playful smack on your butt, "well I still got the girl didn't I?"
_ "Yes you did."
His eyes gleamed hearing your words, and his arms slid up to surround your back and bring you closer to himself before groaning the demand you knew was coming, "kiss me then."
That was all it took for you to close the remaining distance between you two and claim his lips in a breathtaking lip lock.

A/N: NOBODY LOOK AT ME. idc, I love Eric okay, stfu. I just had to write him. He just needs love man. Thatâs all. I want to give him love. So here you go. I might make a part two if thereâs enough interest. When I tell you the Eric fic supply is LOW, Iâve never seen one so LACKING. So I just had to yk? Enjoy and donât cancel me alright.
You didnât often dwell on the past. You had a live in the moment kind of mindset. You didnât know where youâd be tomorrow so you made the best of the moment. But sometimes, you wondered just where your bad decisions were taking you. You didnât mean to end up here, in this awful bubblegum pink sweater and sweatpants, surrounded by people who didnât care why you were here, or if you got better or not. The disappointed words of your mother played in your head, and the angry words of your father hammered in the back of your head. You were a fucking disappointment, and thatâs why you were here.Â
You thought about ending it. This mess your life had become. It wouldnât be too hard to find a razor around here if you truly tried. Who would miss you anyway? What even was the point of it all? By day two you couldnât take this shit anymore. And then you saw him in the yard. You were almost entranced by him. He was so tall, he towered over everyone he walked past, you couldnât imagine how ridiculous you would look standing next to him. You could see his ink cover his hands and fingers, and you wondered just how far the ink traveled. You were intrigued by him, he was quiet, morbidly so, he didnât say a word to anyone, no matter how much they pressed or tossed him around, he just stared. Whether it was the doctors, the counselors, the guards. He always chose silence. And he always had this look of defiance, of apathy, he took everything with a locked jaw and deadpan eyes. And that intrigued you.
Should you try to entertain anyone in this facility, let alone the loner covered in tattoos? No, absolutely not. But lord, something about him drew you in.Â
You caught glimpses of him for a few days, in the cafeteria when you walked past him to your table, maybe he thought you didnât notice, but you caught him turning his head to watch you walk by. One time, your eyes met, they were a pretty shade of green. It was brief though, as soon as he realized you caught him, his eyes were in front of his plate, but not before you managed to flash him a tiny smile. Welcoming, playful.Â
Eric remembered that.Â
The next time you saw him was out in the yard. They encouraged exercise in this place, for some dumb reason. The most people did around here was stand in a corner, feeling completely miserable under the scorching sun. But much to your surprise, after some time walking around the yard you found Eric, lingering by the gym equipment. It wasnât much, just a pull up bar and that was barely tall enough to accommodate him. No weights, of course, because someone could hurt themselves, or someone else with them. It wasnât much, but you couldnât help but watch as he pulled his sweatshirt over his head, revealing even more tattoos going up both of his arms. You stood in a corner like a fucking weirdo, watching as he did pull upâs, as best as he could having to bend his long legs to accommodate the short bar. Why were you just staring at this man youâve never even spoken to? Of that you had no clue. But you couldnât take your eyes away. He had his back to you, but even under the material of his white t-shirt you could see the muscles in his shoulders tense, his arms flexing with each pull. And you could only I magine the true sight of him. Sweat dripping down his forehead, lips pulled between his teeth as he did each pull. God, you felt like such a pervert. You shouldnât be eye fucking him like this, but you couldnât help it, something about him twisted the most secluded corners of your mind.
Ultimately your trance was cut short, since it didnât take long for a group of guys to take interest in whatever Eric was doing and went straight to push him around some more. You frowned, almost upset by the sight of him getting tossed around and hazed like this. You couldnât hear what was happening, but Eric had his head down, chest heavy as he clenched his fists at his sides, but he otherwise did nothing. You didnât care, any fucks you still had to give were gone the moment your parents and your ex-boyfriend conspired to send you here. You were about to walk over there, not caring about what weird opposite sex rules this place had. But when you started walking, Eric did too, getting shoulder checked as he pushed his way past the group of guys. You felt awful, you wanted to say something to him, but you were frozen when he walked past you, his green eyes shooting a quick glance at you, a bit of curiosity laced in them. But you were more focused on how his shirt was clinging to his sweaty chest. And just like that he was gone.
The next time you saw him was during a group meeting that afternoon. You were almost disappointed at first when he didnât show. You sulked into your seat for the first minute or two, upset you wouldnât get to see him today again. And then you saw him. His expression as apathetic as ever, like he would rather get beat up than sit through this bullshit. His hair was soaking wet, small droplets of water still falling from the tips of his raven hair. Great, now the image of him in the shower was ingrained into your brain. As if you didnât feel filthy enough.
You bit your lip softly, sitting up as he sat across from you, his expression blank with disinterest as his tattooed fingers played with the hem of his pink sweater. You werenât paying attention either, you were more entertained by the way his long legs spread open as he slouched on his chair, taking as much space as possible. You thought about how nice it would be to sit on his lap. You glanced at his hands, they were huge. How easily he could grab a hold of your ass, or hold you still by your neck. How his long fingers would feel so deep inside you. You thought about how easily he was doing those pull ups, and you thought just how easily he could hold you down, throw you around to as he pleased with you. Truly, you would happily let him use you. You could feel heat rush to your face as you crossed your legs, trying your best to ignore the heat pooling between your legs. Why were you lusting so hard over him? You didnât even know his name.Â
Almost as if he could hear your pounding heart, Eric looked up to find your eyes lingering on him, one leg crossed over the other tightly. He tilted his head with curiosity, and his fingers twitched around his sweatshirt as your eyes met. He didnât feel like looking away this time. The longer his hooded eyes were on you, the more nervous you became. You could feel your breath hitch in your chest as his eyes burned you. You only looked away when the counselor said your name, followed by stares.Â
Shit, were you supposed to say something?Â
You opened your mouth, immediately closing it as you had nothing to say. You didnât even hear the question. You pursed your lips and shook your head lightly. The counselor sighed softly and looked to the girl beside you instead. It was common for most people here to refrain from speaking so he didnât think too much about it. But when your eyes found Eric again, there was a small hint of amusement in his eyes, a ghost of a grin tugging at his plush lips. For the first time since youâve been here, you saw something other than disinterest on his face.Â
Perhaps he was just as drawn to you as you were to him.Â
~~~
You pulled your lips into a disappointed pout as you searched around the cafeteria for his black mullet, not being able to find him. And here you thought today would be the day you finally spoke to him. You were about to sit at the nearest empty table when you found him. Even sitting down he stood out. You smiled to yourself, your heart pounding in your chest with anticipation. You looked around for guards, none were paying particular attention to you so you did it.Â
He lifted his head slightly to glance at you, a quick second before his eyes were back on his plate. You saw the way his Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed. You smiled to yourself.
âI like your ink.â Were the first words out of your mouth. You said them in one breath, afraid he would get up and leave. His eyes lifted from his hands to meet yours, his eyes then fell to your own hands, one of them covered in distinct patterns and colors from your wrist up to your fingers. He wondered what else you were hiding under your sweater, like him.
âHm.â He gave you a small nod, his plush lips pulled between his teeth in a way that had you clenching your thighs. âI like yours.âÂ
You smiled, the first genuine one since youâve gotten here.
âI have more.â You whispered, leaning close to him, like it was some secret only for his ears to hear. His eyes flickered with amusement and he gave you another hum, his eyes now looking everywhere they could in hope of finding said secrets.Â
âMe too.â His lips curved up the slightest bit as he lifted one of his sleeves up enough to reveal more tattoos going up his arm. Your eyes lit up as you excitedly leaned down closer with the excuse of getting a closer look. Your proximity was certainly way too close for this facility.
Leaning impossibly close to him without actually touching him, you looked up at him and with a playful smile you pulled down the collar of your sweatshirt to reveal more designs along your collarbone, the rest of the design hidden by your sweater as the colors continued down your shoulder.Â
âBut donât tell anyone.â You chewed on your bottom lip, trying to hide your smile. He gave you what sounded like a chuckle and he shrugged.
âWho would I tell?â Though his face remained expressionless, his eyes had a glint that mimicked your eagerness, he welcomed your proximity. âHere he comes.â
You were confused by his words and you opened your mouth to question him as he sat back, his head lifting in the direction behind your head.Â
âMales and females canât sit together!â One of the guards, one you had noticed had a particular thing with Eric shouted, roughly grabbing the back of his chair to force him up on his feet.
âHuh? Wait, why are you taking him?â You talked back to the guard. âHey, he didnât do anything! I was the one that sat here. IâIâll move. Donât be such an asshole! Leave him alone!â You tried to help, even going as far as standing up but the guard was already taking the new owner of all of your attention away. Your heart sank as you watched the guard shout at him as he dragged him away.
He had managed to turn his head back for a second, and when your eyes met, he half smiled at you. He was almost proud of the fact that you tried to stand up for him. âIâm Eric!â
You smiled.Â
~~~~~~
âFound you.â You skipped into Ericâs room, finally seeing his door open.
You hadnât seen him since you got him in trouble at their cafeteria the day before. You got in some trouble too. You had a one on one meeting with a counselor about your choice of words and your âtemperâ but it was nothing more than just a slap on the wrist. Truly, you felt worse about getting Eric in trouble more than anything. You didnât mean to, you just wanted to talk to him. He must have gotten punished because you didnât see him during gym hour. You leaned against the doorframe as he turned around to find you. Curiosity filled his otherwise empty eyes, and a glint of amusement replaced the usual apathy in his gaze.
âI never left.â He answered with a shrug as he shuffled through the mess that was made of his artwork. Sketch papers were scattered all over his room, torn off the walls. Perhaps after getting in trouble during lunch they used that as an excuse to go through his room.Â
âIâm sorry for getting you in trouble.â You expressed with genuine regret, shooting back a glance to the hallway before inviting yourself into his room. Much to the protest of the rational voice in your mind. You looked at the floor as you almost stepped on a piece of paper, you happily picked it up, admiring the black charcoal coating the page before you set it on his bed.
âIs that why youâre here? To apologize?â Eric asked almost cynically as he glanced over at you, not moving from where he stood.
âWell yeah. I didnât mean to get you in trouble.â You said sheepishly, a bit intimidated under his intense gaze. There was always a look of defiance in his green eyes, determination even. He gave you a sarcastic hum, which made you roll your eyes.
âWhy did you yell at the guard? You got in trouble too, didnât you?â He asked lowly, his head slightly tilted as he searched for that little thing you did around him, when you clenched your hands at your sides, or your thighs on your seat. His eyes irked with amusement when your fingers twitched at your sides and your lips parted open.
ââCause⌠You didnât do anything wrong. You never do anything, or say anything. And everyone around here always pushes you around. Itâs fucked up.â You answered quietly, daring to meet his eyes. He pulled his lips into a small pout and nodded slowly. His silence was always so nerve wracking to you.
âYeah, so?â
You scrunched up your face, sighing heavily at his questioning. What did he what you to say? You didnât know why you cared. You shrugged, picking up another piece of paper by your feet. You half glanced at it as you spoke.
âI dunno.. I just.. Oh myââ You cut yourself off as you gave the drawing in your hand a proper look. You narrowed your eyes, giving the drawing a closer look, and your jaw fell open. It looked like you, your hair falling over your face, dark scribbles covering your body symbolizing the unknown designs on your body, the only intelligible one being the patterns on your collarbone, the same one you had shown Eric. But what truly caught your eye was that you were in fact, completely nude. Truly, his imagination surprised you, he had imagined every curve of your body well, despite not having seen any part of it.
Based on your flustered expression, Eric could only assume which drawing you had picked up. He swallowed, his cheeks flushing pink being caught red handed. But he didnât look apologetic, at all.
âThis what you do in your spare time? Draw naked girls?â You asked with big eyes, the still working rational part of your mind screaming alarms, but a part of you also filled with excitement at his perverted mind. Almost as if you were on his mind as much as he was on yours.
He shook his head. âJust one.â He answered with a shrug, a challenging look in his eyes.Â
Either you walked out right then and there, and that would be that, or you would go all in. He was trying to figure out which one it would be.
âYou are very talented, this isââ You dragged your tongue over your lip as you walked closer to him, catching glances at his other artwork. Your heart pounded in your chest as you approached him, his gaze making you shudder. He said nothing as you stooped in front of him, now having to tilt his head down to meet your gaze. God this man was so goddamn tall. âYou could totally sell this for some money.â
âBut,â you continued, swallowing hard as you looked up at him, and the way his green eyes looked at you made your mind all fuzzy. God, you haven't felt this euphoric since you got here. This rush of adrenaline made you dizzy, but you pushed through it. âI see one flaw in your creativity.â
âOh?â He bit down on his plush lip, head tilted with curiosity. You hummed and nodded, daring to bring your fingers up his chest. His breath hitched in his chest, but he said nothing.
âI fear you donât have the full picture. My tattoos are more than just a scribble of ink.â You stated matter of factly, making him breathe out a small laugh.
âSorry. I work with what I have.â He shrugged his shoulders, trying to ignore the feeling of your hands itching up his chest.
âMaybe I should give you more to work with?â Your hands found the back of his neck and you instinctively stood on the ends of your toes, itching to get closer to him.
Eric glanced down at you, his eyes lingering on your own for a split second before glancing at your parted lips, soft breaths escaping you as you anxiously waited. He didnât have to think about it, he didnât want to. His mouth was on yours so hard you whined. His large hand found your hair, tilting your head back to meet your lips better.Â
You werenât sure when you ended up against the nearest wall, your legs wrapped around Ericâs slim waist as he held you up. You were right, he could hold you up like you were nothing. Truly, the oversized clothes you were forced to wear didnât do him any justice. You wondered what he was hiding under his sweatshirt.
His lips were messy on yours, his heavy breaths joining your soft whimpers. You were so caught up in the delicious feeling of his mouth claiming yours and his hands touching everywhere he could, you didnât hear the loud voices of guards calling your name and patient number. Reality dawned on you when you heard shouting down the hall for everyone to get out of their rooms. You patted Ericâs shoulder, forcing your lips away from his.Â
âEricâEric.â You said his name with urgency, making him look at you, eyes filled with greed as he chased your lips. âI have to go. I donât want to get you in trouble again.âÂ
He nodded after a second, setting you down on your feet after pressing one last kiss to your lips. You had a stupid smile on your face as you successfully sneaked out his room, the guards being distracted as they probably ransacked some poor bastard's room like they had done Ericâs. You glanced behind you as you hurried down the hall, catching a glimpse of Eric peeking his head through his door. He smiled. And it made your heart race.
You could not wait to see him again.
~~~~~~
âEric!ââ You slapped your hand over your mouth, attempting to quiet the desperate sounds leaving your mouth. But the way his tongue lapped at your sensitive clit and his long fingers rubbed against that one spot within your walls that had you squirming.
You didnât mean to end up in this position, ass naked on top of one of the washing machines in the laundry room, with Eric on his knees and his face between your thighs. Truly you didnât, you knew you would be in a lot of fucking trouble if you got caught. But the way his lips claimed yours, his tongue lacing with yours, his large hands grabbing at every part of your body like he didnât know which one he craved to touch more. He just wanted you so fucking bad, your kisses and little rubbing here and there for the past few days wasnât enough for him, or for you.
âI wanted to taste you so fucking bad.â He muttered against your clit, a groan rumbling in his throat when you pulled at the hairs on the back of his head, inadvertently holding his face closer against you. Not that he minded, he would stay here, with his fingers scissoring you open until you dripped on the surface underneath you.Â
âPleaseâfuck. That feels so good.â You didnât remember the last time someone made you feel this good. Not that you had much experience in this area, but this sure felt right.
Eric wrapped his free hand under your thigh, pulling you to the edge, closer to his mouth. He lapped at your pussy like he needed it, like it was the air in his lungs. The sounds leaving his mouth as your juices seeped around his fingers were almost as filthy as yours.Â
You felt like such a slut, chasing his mouth with your hips, heaving like a bitch in heat, and quietly begging him to grant you your release, as quiet as you could be with his fingers so deep and his tongue drawing delicious circles around your clit.Â
âJust like that baby⌠Just like that.â Eric mumbled, his fingers slipping and crooking against that perfect spot.Â
Your release was so sudden, and it hit you so hard you were shaking, sobbing violently into your hand. Your head was thrown back, eyes rolled into the back of your head. Eric dug his fingers into your thigh, his tongue slipping into your hole when his fingers left you.Â
âShitâEricââ You gasped, your thighs shaking as you weakly reached to grab his face.Â
With a grunt he peeled himself from the warmth of your thighs, he stood to his full height before leaning down to capture your lips. The taste of yourself lingering on his tongue made you moan. Disoriented, you reached down to rub where his cock was straining against his sweatpants. He groaned into your mouth, his large hand flew to catch your wrist.
âItâs okay.â He gave your lips a soft kiss as he pulled your hand away. You gave him an adorable frown, your mind still spinning from your orgasm.Â
âBut youââ He pressed another kiss to your lips, shutting you up. He moved his lips to your neck, latching on to that one spot that had you whining. Neither of you cared if everyone saw the mark he left.Â
âWeâll have time for that.â He mumbled against your skin. The way he slurred the words made your breath hitch. âRight?â
He pulled back to meet your eyes, blinking slowly as he waited for your response. You licked your lips softly, breath soft as you thought, how could he still question it. You were past the lusting. This was something else. You needed more of him, and it wasn't just sex you were craving. You wanted every part of him, even the parts of himself he didnât want.
âOf course.. This isnât.. Canât you tell? What you do to me. Iâve never..â You couldnât even form the right words, your mind still fuzzy with all these feelings you had no name for. You didnât need to explain. Whatever it was, Eric felt the same. And he smiled, he genuinely smiled. And what a pretty sight that was.
âWe should go.â He pressed his lips to the side of your head, smoothing down your hair and fixing your sweater. âCan you stand?â
You half nodded, gasping when he set you down on your feet and you instantly leaned on him for support. The sly smile on his face made you want to slap him. But deep down, you wanted to smile too.
~~~~~
The next time you saw Eric, he was walking down the hallway, his tall frame towering over the majority of people he walked past. He wasnât hard to find. You bit your lip, unable to contain your excitement as you hurried after him. Your fingers brushed his, and almost as if he knew your touch by heart, he wasnât startled, he didnât flinch either. When he turned his head, his eyes grew big at the sight of you, the corners of his lips curving into a tiny smile. You flashed him a whole smile, unapologetic about how happy it made you to see him. Your obsession with him over the past two weeks wasnât something you could explain, you knew it probably wasnât healthy. But when were you ever known for having healthy coping mechanisms? You found something that filled you and you clung to it.
âWhere are you going?â You asked him quietly as you walked beside him. He walked slower, but didnât look at you much, as not to bring unwanted attention to yourselves.
âLaundry room.â He said quietly, his eyes dropping to meet yours. And you shared that knowing and malicious look. You couldnât hide the smile on your lips. This time of day usually meant you could sneak off for a little while since most patients were having their once a week visitor, or phone call, which meant less guards were in every corner.
âIâm supposed to be out in two weeks.â You told Eric in between kisses, his lips trailed your jaw as his hands grabbed at your ass.Â
âIâm out in four.â He answered as he pressed you against the nearest wall. He grabbed your face between his large hands, pulling you to meet his eager mouth. You whined, fists clenched around the front of his sweatshirt. You couldnât go two weeks without seeing him, you would go fucking mad.
âI donât want to wait a month to be with you.â You breathed out, your chest heavy as the words left your mouth. âIâm supposed to go back to my parents when I get out. They agreed to take me in to follow my treatment, but I donât want to go. Theyâre the ones that put me here.âÂ
âI donât have anywhere to go.â You barely heard him as he spoke, almost as if the words pained him, broke something deep inside him. It broke something in you, too.
âYou can come with me. I have a little place and some money saved. Itâs not much but.. If you want.. We could.. We could try something for real?â You trailed off, afraid he would reject you. It was one thing to mess around in here, where neither of you had anything else, anyone else to cling to, but this being anything other than a desperate bond by two lost souls was a different story. Outside of these walls, he could find anyone else, he didnât have to keep the broken girl he fingered in a shitty laundry room.
âI would like that. I would like something real, with you.â His words were soft, as were his hands holding your face as he pressed his forehead against yours. You breathed out a laugh of relief. âFuck this place. Weâll do it tomorrow, during shift change. Thereâs a vent up here that leads to the yard.â
You pulled him down by his sweatshirt, your lips crashing against his. He laced his fingers in your hair as he slipped his tongue into your mouth. You welcomed it, lips parting as you locked your arms around his neck.Â
âEric.â You said his name softly in a quiet plea. He opened his eyes to find your desperate gaze. He told himself he wanted to be better, he knew you deserved better, but when you said his name like that, when you looked at him like that. He was no better. âI donât think I can wait anymore. Please, I⌠I needâŚâ
âNeed what?â His words were coated with arousal, he knew fucking well what you meant. But he wanted to hear you say it.
âFuckââ You kissed his lips roughly, any sanity and restraint you mightâve once had, completely. You canât trust an addict to have good self-control, now could you? âTake me. Iâm yours, just take me.â
âFuck.â Now it was his turn to lose his sanity. He gave your lips one last kiss as he squeezed your cheeks between his fingers, licking your lips before he spun you around to face the wall. âYouâre a sweet girl, donât forget that. I swear I will fuck you properly on a bed, with flowers and shit.âÂ
His words were rough in your ear as he pressed his lips to your jaw, his hands making quick work of pulling down your sweatpants and panties. They pooled around your ankles as he kicked your legs open as far as they went.
âI like carnations.â You gasped as the cool air hit your exposed cunt. You heard him chuckle beside your ear.
âThose are pretty. Theyâre pretty like you.â He hummed as he brought two fingers up to your lips. You happily took them in your mouth. Eric almost moaned at the sight. One of these days he needed to have you sucking his cock. One of these days.Â
Eric pulled his fingers from your lips and with a kiss to the back of your head, he sunk his coated fingers into your hole. Your mouth fell open, your forehead falling against the wall. You were instantly chasing his fingers, soft whimpers leaving your lips as you happily rode them. You didnât know how he did it, how he could have you dripping around his fingers in a matter of a minute or two. You were clawing at the wall, silent moans spilling from you when he pulled his fingers from you. He watched almost proudly as your slick coated your thighs.Â
âCan I take this off?â He asked quietly, tugging at the hem of your sweater. You made a humming sound, as best as you could. As if he needed to ask. Eric was happy to rid you of your sweater, more happy to find more hidden tattoos going all over both of your arms. He craved to find every single one of your tattoos, and kiss every one. But he knew it would be best to be quick.
His own sweatshirt met the same fate, and with a kiss to your cheek, he grabbed one of your hips as he pulled down his sweats enough to free his cock. A groan left his lips as he dragged his cock between your folds, coating himself in your slick. You gasped, not being able to see him, but already knowing he was big.Â
âLet me know if it hurts, hm? Iâll take it easy, I promise.â He pressed his lips to your jaw, inhaling your sweet scent as he slowly sank himself into you. Only his tip was in and you could already feel the sting of his cock stretching you wide open.
âFuck. Fuck, oh my godââ You squeezed your eyes shut, fingers clenching around nothing as he slowly filled your further, inch by inch.
âItâs okay. You want me to stop?â He asked, shushing you softly as he sat still, allowing you to adjust to the burning feeling of his size. Fuck, you should have known someone as tall as him would be this big. Somehow, it didnât occur to you.
âNo. âm okay. Keep going.â You reached behind you to touch him, your fingers gracing over the side of his face. He nodded into your neck, one of his hands sneaking to the front of you to play with your clit to ease you as he sank into you until his hips rutted against your ass. He sat still, speaking filthy words into your ear until you were whimpering, needing to feel more. âEric, please.â
You didnât need to tell him twice. His pace was slow at first, slow strokes that allowed you to revel in the feeling of his cock in and out of your walls. But as you both began to grow desperate, pathetic sounds leaving your lips and groans of pleasure leaving him, his pace picked up. It was grueling, how he fucked you against that wall. You braced yourself with one hand, the other holding his face behind you as he leaned his head to capture your parted lips into a messy kiss. He swallowed your sweet sounds as the sting of his cock had you squeezing the life out of him.
âFuck, I have been dreaming about this since I saw you. You always looked so pretty when you looked at me.â He whispered in your ear, his hand wrapping around your hair as he forced your head back, exposing your neck. You cried out, his roughness making you clench around him. He cursed, covering your mouth with his large hand. âI need you to keep it down for me, baby. You donât want us to get caught, do you?âÂ
You shook your head, doing your best to contain the sounds he was pulling from you. His hand slowly left your mouth, trusting you could keep your sounds to a minimum. You bit down on your lip, eyes squeezed shut as his cock split you open. You swore you had never been this utterly fucked out, so cock drunk before. You had never needed anyone so badly. You had never felt so strongly about anyone. You had always found something to cling to, pain, tattoos, in your more miserable and recent yearsâdrugs, and now him. But him? This feeling he gave you, it was like nothing you had ever felt before. You wanted to hold on to him until your final breath of air left your lungs.
âI wanted thisâyouâso fucking bad. I needed to have you.â Eric grunted, lips latching on to that spot on your neck where the previous hickey he had left was starting to fade. âIâm so crazy about you, no amount of rehab could fix me.âÂ
You moaned at his words, letting them sink in. He was down so bad for you, probably as much as you were. Two addicts, seeking refuge in each other, craving this adrenaline, it was a kick you had never felt before. It was a kick only lust and passion could bring. And he ignited that deep within your soul.Â
âMe too.â You panted, lips parting in ecstasy as one of his tattooed hands loosely wrapped around your throat. Fuck, the way his whole hand covered your entire neck made you gush all over his cock. âIâve never wanted anyone this bad. Youâah!âI need you all the fucking time.â
âThen you can have me,â His fingers squeezed your throat tighter, his thick cock so deep you swore you could feel him in your fucking cervix. âAll the fucking time. Forever.âÂ
Tears filled your ears as you could feel your release near, your thighs shuddering as you felt your legs start to give out. Eric was quick to press you further against the wall, his back flush against your chest, sweaty forehead pressed against your cheek as his cock rutted against you, over and over, until you were chanting a string of uh-uh-uhâs, your mind too overcome with the pleasure he was giving you to even speak.Â
âI want you to come on my cock so fucking bad. I need it.â Groans fell freely from his chest as he once again slipped a hand to your swollen clit. The pressure of his rough fingers made you gasp, your throat closing under his grip. Your release hit you so hard you were sobbing, though mostly muffled by his tight grip. Tears fell down your cheek as your orgasm left you a shaking mess. You had never felt this way beforeâso overcome with pleasure you cried.
âShh, itâs okay baby. Good girl.â The hand on your throat left to wipe at your tears, soothing you as you came crashing down.Â
Eric fucked you through your release, frantically chasing his own. His name left your lips with praise, sobs of your remnant pleasure as he pushed you to the point of overstimulation. But it wasnât until he felt his own release near that he pulled out of you. Without saying a word, he grabbed one of your hands and wrapped it around his thick cock, his own hand guiding yours up and down his slick length, sweet praises leaving his lips until he was spilling himself.Â
Heavy breaths and pants of exhaustion filled the small laundry room, the air smelled like sex, and the remnants of your forbidden times were left as evidence. Eric eventually spun you around to face him, a soft smile on his lips. You had only ever seen it once, after he ate you out days ago. It was rare to see Eric smile, but you made it a vow to yourself that you would always make him smile like this.
âHow fucked up are we? Finding comfort in each other like this. Did it ever cross your mind?â You said softly as Eric helped you dress. He was bending down to grab your sweater and he stood up to his full height, towering over you, and his eyes were laced with an indescribable feeling.
âWhen I first saw you, I didnât know what it was, but I was so drawn to you, I looked for you everyday, and I thought I would go mad if I didnât have you. And right now, I can tell you itâs not just lust. Iâm entranced by you, I need you all the time. And if thereâs one thing I learned from this fucking place is that you have to latch on to something, otherwise youâll drown.âÂ
You were speechless, nothing but your soft breaths could be heard. A smile fell on your lips and you leaned into his chest. Eric sighed softly, wrapping his arms around you, holding you close to his chest, heâd be damn if he ever let you go anywhere but here.
âAddicts will be addicts, no matter how much they try to fix us. But itâs not always to drugs weâre addicted to.â You sighed softly, closing your eyes as you sank into the feeling of his arms. âThis feeling? I never want it to stop.â
âIt doesnât have to.â He mumbled into your hair, in his head reminding himself of your limited time, but he refused to let you go just yet. âForever, right?â
âYeah, forever.â

when actress!reader and drew made it official
đđ ŕŁŞË Ö´đ ââââŕ¨ŕ§ââââ after casually seeing each other for a few months after that first hook up after the club and then going on that first date, you and drew finally make it official.
đđ pairing: actress!reader x drew starkey
authorâs note: this takes place in october 2024, at this point actress!reader and drew have been seeing each other casually for a few months, after their hook up and subsequent date in LA. actress!reader is currently in the midst of filming Anora.
you were holed up in your LA home that you were renting while living LA for the filming of your new movie Anora. it was your day off and you were going to spend it rotting at home and swimming in your pool. youâre a big homebody, although people assumed that you were someone who was always going out, you werenât, going out for non-work related reasons was a rare occurrence. itâs not like you donât enjoy going out, you do. but going to clubs and parties was something that you enjoyed once in a while, for special occasions and with the right people. and if you were being honest it got repetitive. going to parties, getting drunk, surrounded by people you donât know or care about. you would much rather spend your time at home and be able to truly be yourself. you were sinking further and further into the plush couch in your living room, your book propped on your knees. when your phone rang.
drew callingâŚ. accept?
you smiled lightly at the sight of his name lighting up your screen, you let it ring for a beat before you answered, wanting to torture him for a bit. âhey.â the greeting came out like a sigh, almost as if the thought of him relaxes your mind and body. âhey, baby.â you grinned and your cheeks flushed at the low tone of his voice, god everything about him was sexy, and you could see the smirk dancing on his lips through the phone, like he could feel the effect he has on you. âwhat are you doing today, pretty girl?â you hummed glancing at the time on the clock, ten am. ânothing âm just gonna chill at home, maybe go swimming, weatherâs nice in LA.â drew chuckled, a low rumble, that sent shivers up your spine. ânot like london, huh?â you giggled lightly, âyea, not like london.â drew made a noise of agreement. âyou mind if i come over?â your fingers played with the band of your shorts. âwhat if i say, yes, i do mind?â drew snorted, you could hear him shuffling in his seat. âiâm just gonna come over anyway.â you rolled your eyes, playfully. âcreep.â you retort, and he laughed, a sound that came from his chest and made your heart jump. âiâll be there in ten, baby.â you bit your bottom lip in anticipation. âmhmm hmm.â
you were still laid up on the couch, reading your book when your doorbell rang, you smiled before making your way to the door, pulling it open. drew stood in the frame, dressed in a plain white t-shirt and baggy black cargo pants, his buzzed hair now grown out in a baby mullet, fuck he looked good. his hands were locked behind his back and he gave you a crooked smile, his tongue pushing into his cheek, and his cheeks turning a light shade of pink as he gave you a once over. suddenly you were reminded of your lack of clothing and you felt you face heat up in turn. drewâs eyes raked over you, running over your tight black boy shorts with a cute little bow on the front and then your black bandeau top with the little matching bow on the middle of the upper hem. after what felt like eternity, you cleared your throat. âyou wanna keep looking at me, or come in?â drew smirked, unashamed of being caught staring, well it wasnât like he was trying to be subtle. âhello, to you too, y/n.â he teased in a slightly sarcastic tone. you rolled your eyes at him, but couldnât fight the smile that creeped onto your face. you led him to your living room, his eyes unabashedly staring at your ass while you walked, and you may have purposely swung your hips a little more than usual for him.
now, you and drew were laid up on your couch together, he sat with his legs spread, his arms resting on the top of the couch, you were laying against his side, you head rest on his shoulder, and your knees bent, toes brushing against the side of his thigh. drewâs hand came down to play with your hair and you snuggled your face closer into him. âhow was filming yesterday?â you sighed âlong, i had a lot of pole dancing scenes to film.â drew leaned his head back, letting out a groan. âwhy would you tell me that?â you chuckled, you had noticed this effect you had on him, and adored using it to your advantage. deciding to make it way worse you turned your head, so that you could whisper directly into his ear. âthey had me dressed in barely anything, drew.â you whined, he shot up, picking you up with ease and throwing you over his shoulder. âthatâs it. weâre going swimming.â you giggled loudly, punching his back, and kicking your feet as he walked to your room.
spending time with drew felt effortless, everything about him set your mind to ease and your heart ablaze. just like now, when he lounged on your bed in a pair of swim trunks you had found, while you changed into your bikini in the walk-in closet. drewâs eyes widened as you came into view, the white bikini leaving basically nothing to imagination. not that it mattered, drew had seen everything anyway. he sat up spreading his legs apart, and you stepped into the space. drewâs hands came up to your bare legs, caressing the flesh. your hands came up to his hair. stroking the strands, pushing them back from his face. drew hummed âi canât believe youâre real.â you smiled at him. âthanks, pretty.â drew made a face, tugging you onto his lap so that you sat sideways across his thigh. âshouldnât i be calling you pretty?â he stroked your thighs with his large hand. âok, what should i say? yea, youâre well fit, lad.â you exaggerated your accent. he laughed âyea, alright, letâs just get in the pool?â
you were sat on the edge, your legs submerged in the cool water. the heavy LA sun was beating down on your back. but the heat wasnât bothering you like it usually would, not when the shirtless man wading through your pool is the sexiest man youâve ever seen. you laughed loudly as drew splashed and you aggressively kicked your legs in attempt to splash him back. drew grabbed you by the waist and lifted you from where you were sat. you wrapped your legs around his waist and your arms around his neck. marvin gayeâs distant lover blaring loudly from the speakers. the two of you didnât feel the need to speak to each other. simply enjoying each otherâs presence in the cool water. drewâs hands stroking your back in comforting circles. you couldnât help yourself from placing a soft kiss on the tip of his nose. he smiled at the gesture. a heartbreaking smile that only confirmed your growing feelings for him. he returned the gesture with a soft peck to your chin.
now the two of you sat on the couch in your patio. sunglasses perched on your noses, sharing a marlboro red. drew was quiet, deep in thought with serious look on his face, but you didnât bother him, knowing that he would bring it up to you himself. the smoke wafted into the air as you handed him the cigarette for one last drag before he put it out on the ashtray that sat next to him on the couch. you sighed leaning your head onto his shoulder, his hand tangled in your wet hair. your legs bent up on the couch, his spread. âi wanna say something.â you turned your head so that you look up at him without lifting from your place on his shoulder. he really is so pretty. âi know itâs still early, and that youâre going back to london once youâre done filming, but thisâtodayâactually, any time i spend with you is the happiest iâve felt in my life. and i want to be able to be how we were today everyday, in front of everyone. i donât want to hide what i feel for you. and if you donât feel the same thatâs ok, i just want you to know that iâve never felt like this before, these past few months have shown me how good we are together.â
you smiled he was so sweet and so nervous and you thought it wouldnât be long before you would fall in love with him, or maybe you already have, âi want that too, drew.â his cheeks were pink and he stared down at you with those cerulean eyes, filled with hope and adoration and your heart stirred. âyea?â his voice was low and shaky, like you held his heart in your hands, bared and beating, just for you. âyea.â you brought your hand to his face, stroking his cheekbone with your thumb. he nodded as his eyes rushed between your eyes and lips before he crashed his lips with yours. the kiss was messy like he was conveying every emotion he had kept pent up, in fear that you wouldnât feel the same. but now that he knew you did, there was no need to hide anymore.
