And yeah this show was always about family but some peeps just only think about one thing.. and it'd be fine if they weren't trying to argue about incest not being incest and actually make their ships in AUs - like that one person - and not act as if these ships were the most important thing in the show and as if they really wanted it to be if not canon then at least canon compliant..

And I think that this is ridiculous.. acting like that is childish and stupid.. and I wish that certain individuals wouldn't try to drag VAs to their circus..

And also they act like hypocrites.. and like they're holier than thou.. and they often times sound so patronizing..

Biggest moan about being an RE fan in the modern era is how many modern RE fans who haven't touched any of the older games ( On the chance they've touched the games at all and haven't just watched walkthroughs Lol. Lmao. ) is how many of them strangely feel at liberty to condescend to and shit on OG game fans because they somehow think liking the older games is bad or that they're inferior ( they're not )

Like. For example. I had an encounter semi-recently with someone who got narky with me after I said I prefer to keep Wesker's RE4 depiction to the OG rather than the remake, personally, largely because I'm an old school game fanatic and they got annoyed and immediately assumed Wesker was not only a different character in the OG games but that somehow he was a 'bad' character in the OG games ( dont ask how this Logic'd ) while simultaneously admitting they had never played ANY of the OG games and had ONLY played RE4remake and DBD.

Then when I like, pointed out DBD is completely crack in terms of Lore and is therefore irrelevant as far as Wesker's characterization goes along with the fact that Wesker holds the title as the most iconic villain in RE ALONG with just being an iconic villain in general and this opinion of him existed LONG before and in fact has NOTHING to do with the RE4Remake, so maybe Wesker is, in fact, not a bad character outside of the RE4Remake, they had the AUDACITY to get pissy and act like I was some mean gate keeping elitist or as if I was shitting on them somehow as if they didn't come for me first and I just corrected them on shit they clearly had no point of reference to actually be talking about. Like no bitch I'm not gate keeping you or anything, I'm begging you to actually interact with the source. I'm begging you, this is the opposite of gatekeeping.

Further I'm BEGGING you to actually try playing these games ( Most of them are currently on switch super cheap ) if you're able rather than just watching clips of them on youtube because YOU MISS A LOT when you're not ACTIVELY PLAYING THE GAME and finding/reading the files is where most of the important lore is located !! GRRR, why are people so stupid these days.

hoy oh boy i love when my mom very loudly and very openly complains about how much of a brat she thinks i am in front of other people that we haven’t seen in over two years in a public setting where other people can hear and are looking over and probably thinking i’m some spoiled brat because she paints me in such a negative light to threes poeple

i love how she openly jokes about beating me for not socializing tonight (or tomorrow because i know i’m gonna have a drained social battery by the end of tomorrow) and she even goes as far as to say there are mandated reporters and she doesn’t care

i love how she claims i’m not social or independent enough after proceeding to throw me to the wolves for 10 hours on my own and i can’t text her for help or she’ll just say i should’ve known what i’m doing already

i love how she complains that i’m not physical with her but i am with my dad because im a “spoiled daddy’s girl” even though in reality i can’t mention anything to her without her shooting it down but my dad listens to me and takes the time to engage with me
