the way the two men stare at each other in the way they have so many times before, in those moments when Joker stayed or prioritized their fight over her. the way he knew Joker loved the thrill of it all and thought it was funny, thought there was No way Batman would leave him and that this game had to end as according to the rules. And that Batman would do so, he would follow the rules and save him. The way he immediately assumed Batman would choose him, choose his life and choose to stay and disarm the bomb.

And how Batman didn't do that. How Batman walked away from him, leaving him to die or escape or whatever, because He was choosing Harley and her safety and prioritizing her life over him.

Ugh I was excited for today until I found out I'd have to spend it with people that actively make me hate being alive hate the future and drain me off all energy physically mentally spiritually like a vampire I can't stand to be around her she is the definition of stupidity and even then that's generous as fuck this bitch has filled her brain with so much garbage I watch her brain cells die at alarming rates every single time she uses her vocal cords her giggles make me want to jam a sewing needle into my ear repeatedly so I can never have to hear it again its a friendly reminder that my parents decisions this time my dad's constantly makes me want to die

Have to document every time I see a new, good doctor I think - saw the neurologist today and he was everything I could've hoped for. Read my whole history going back 5 years, very professionally hinted that my previous neurologist was full of shit (he was but I didn't realize that was evident from just the notes), listened to my concerns and changed+added to his plan based on what I said, and laid out a diagnostic trail that explicitly ended in Mayo clinic if he isn't able to find answers. He took five minutes aside just to tell me that he's not happy with bucket diagnoses or jumping to psychosomatic explanations (roasting my previous neurologist who in his opinion missed a viral meningitis diagnosis in favor of psychogenic seizures). I think he's a little bit more into diagnostics than I am - I don't usually go for diagnostics unless they're going to change the treatment plan, but also at this point I think a firm diagnosis would be nice for planning and prognosis even if day to day management doesn't change.

It's also taking a minute to adjust. I was living my life with the assumption that at any time, without really realizing it, I could pass a threshold of stress that would cause me to seize until I couldn't talk or walk again. Bc I didn't think I was exceptionally stressed at the time, so obviously my threshold was fairly low and I wouldn't notice before it was too late. Having a different doctor review the results and tell me (without me bringing it up) that I likely had viral meningitis instead...idk. it just paints a very different clinical picture. Does make me wonder what's up with the occasional feelings I've gotten that I've categorized as pre-ictal (bc it feels the same as when i had those seizures). Probably won't change my response (cease stressful activity and take gabapentin or lorazepam) but interesting nonetheless.

Vash: he is... so very shark coded to me. everyone looks at him and sees a dangerous killing machine. frequently covered in scars. do u see the connection here. he is specifically a thresher shark to me because of the whole sharpshooter thing and also the sad sad puppydog eyes 💙

Wolfwood: i am torn between two different types of eels for him. giant morays are more aesthetically pleasing but personally i have to go with a wolf eel both for the name and because ive worked with these guys before and theyre sooooo cool so im biased

Meryl: not technically a sea creature because she is just so bird coded to me. White-Tailed Tropicbird

Milly: is it cheating to have two cephalopods on this list. because i think i really want to say giant pacific octopus for milly. either that or a whale shark 💙 yes those are two completely different animals no i will not be taking criticism at this time

Erin in general needed more scenes with other characters I swear on my life. I know she's new and all and they had to make her feel like a bit of an outcast but man. I LOVE her and Jamie so much but I'd also love to have seen her interact with the others more too ESP Kate.

weird ask but what. do the arakawa family smell like. like what perfumes do they use/do they stink of cigarettes/etc.

arakawa = the scent of cigarette smoke and bourbon does well to equalize the profile of oud wood, not allowing the sweet smell to overpower his mysterious profile. whatever does seep through, you're more likely to catch the more woody, tangy notes- though people who stay around long enough recognize that sweet, nutmeg smell first

sawashiro = legally have to say he smells like a smokey leather couch cause of his 2019 outfit and for the occasional cig or two he'll have BUT as for colognes, definitely something akin to masato where it's more on the down-low as far as scent impressions go. unlike masato though, it's nothing superbly complex and isn't trying to invite anyone to stay and compliment the profile. besides the leather, theres a deep, earthy smell- but stay around long enough, and you might catch a speck of rose

ichiban = definitely tried to find a dupe for arakawa's cologne, though our boy's on a budget: cause'a that, he's got a preference for more woody colognes, wearing a sweet patchouli cologne that possesses an undertone of orange. luckily, the help of cigarette smoke and shea butter helps dilute the potency of his cologne

masato = definitely isn't shy about buying something pricey, and there's payoff for it. leans towards more extravagant fragrances, a castoreum and leather blend being his usual wear. his cologne isn't overly strong, yet it's present enough to make you want to linger to catch it. the only one on this list to not smell like smoke in the slightest

aoki = wears abundantly brighter and more inviting colognes. opposed to harsh, mysterious smells he'll wear the likes of cedarwood. there's still notes of leather to his profile, though. it's just barely masked by the cedar

mitsu = if we're talkin' the 90's, then nothing especially of note. doesn't care too much about colognes (or can even really afford anything especially nice), and he doesn't pay any real attention to deo and body/hair wash scents. legally has to smell a bit of cigarette smoke on account of hangin with people who smoke, but i couldnt tell you if he smokes himself or not. fast forward to 2019, something about him's telling me he'd wear some kind of aquatic cologne- like sage and sea salt..

didn’t previously think of this because colin morgan is a pasty little man but like logistically speaking. merlin would totally get paler after moving to camelot right? cause he goes from largely outdoor farm work and what have you to being inside like castle like at least a solid 60% of the time. sure he goes to the market occasionally and the stables and the training ground and sure he goes on hunts but like i’m sure he spends FAR more days totally indoors than he ever did in ealdor so like. he’s totally get paler. right????
