Danny had a strong dislike for most of his parents inventions. Most of them would make him uncomfortable if they didn’t hurt him and his parents very much liked to hurt ghosts. Danny of course jumps at the opportunity to spend the summer at his cousin Damian’s house. Maddie didn’t tell him or Jazz a lot about her childhood but she did apparently have one more sister than Alicia and this sister was Damian’s mom. Jazz of course tags along she was going to keep her brother safe and also find and reprimand Batman if she can find him.

Smiling Scugs

Me and my friend, Miles, played a Rainworld co-op campaign [vaguely] based off Smiling Friends. I played as Charlie, and Miles as Pim. These are a few of the doodles I drew for it just for the sake of it.

We found three pups (two represented as homonculi in the last image), which were named Jason, Smormu, and Zongo. I was the one usually carrying them because I have no lag on my own computer, but realistically, Charlie would probably want nothing to do with them, let’s be honest.

Charlie was made into Gourm purely because he strikes me as the physically stronger character. He also gets winded in a few scenes in the show, so that I thought was also fitting. I did not make him that because he was fat, I will be angry if I’m accused otherwise. Pim, however, I felt fit rivulet purely because of how hyper and fast-moving he is. The giant googly eyes probably didn’t help… Some people like to headcanon him as an amphibian, so I suppose it fits with that stuff too.

This was a dramatic recreation of something that actually happened when me and my friend played. I wanted to imagine it like the characters, they’re in this world with rules they have yet to learn, forms they’re not used to, all that jazz. This took like three hours, I have no clue how.

Ignore the black squares… I couldn’t figure out how to fill the space. The reason most of the text is digital because everyone tells me my handwriting is hard to read.

I went to a zine workshop last week and made a silly zine about how datable I think the Universal Monsters are. If you like it you can find it here on my Gumroad, where you can find my other zines about Dracula, identity, and love! :3

This is the first time I’ve made a physical paper zine as a master copy and scanned it into the computer so there are some kinks to iron out but I’ve done my very best to make sure this is as good as it can be! :3

In a way, I feel like this argument was a direct follow-up of the one they briefly had in 5.21… That was the last time Tim and Lucy really talked about her going undercover, about their fears… and their insecurities. But we never saw the aftermath of this discussion. It ended on that much-needed hug, on that need to hold on to each other… on those raw feelings. This feels very much like a continuation of that moment. Lucy had been trying to have that honest conversation with Tim about UC for a while and when he finally opened up, it also brought some insecurities to the surface. Like how Lucy was afraid of being in Isabel's shadow? They never got to fully process that part, with everything that happened in the finale. And unfortunately, that meant that it was left festering. Until it blew over at the worst moment. Lucy was spiralling, her doubts taking over to the point that even Tim couldn't ground her. So she did what anyone who is having major anxiety does : she grasped onto these insecurites and took it out on him, even though in that moment, he was genuinely being supportive and trying to help her.

And the thing is, yes, Tim has always been upfront with his past with Isabel. He has been supportive of Lucy's choice to do undercover work (minus when was sent unprepared in 3.06)… But he also has never really told Lucy how he felt about this now that they're together. Everytime Lucy brought it up, he left the conversation. Something she obviously noticed. That's the issue with unsaid things… They always come up at the worst moment. But at least, now it's in the open… and now, they can work on it.

It says a lot about how creepy Ford's Bill shrine must have been for Stan to have not immediately tried to pawn off Bill's golden statue for cash once he found this room. And to think, the only thing Stan knows for thirty years is that his brother had cobbled together a freaky art collection of triangles (which for some ridiculous reason wore a tophat and bowtie) and that the image on the objects seemed to match an unnamed anomaly Ford had catalogued in Journal 1.

The heart attack Stan must have had when he put two and two together.
