I had a sudden urge to try drawing a bear. The sketch you see is the result after heavily referring to a bear reference photo. More study is needed.

The gloves look a little latex-like. I might use another brush in procreate to make them look more comfortable and spandex. Does anyone have some procreate tips they'd like to share or know where I can get some?

ID: a tweet by @theLiamNissan from 26 Jun 23.
Republicans will tell you "the gays are coming for your children" and then immediately turn around and pass a law making it legal to marry 13 year old girls in Kentucky.
/ end ID

Republicans demand trauma and abuse.
#ID provided#and they literally - genuinely - may see the hypocrisy but they DO NOT CARE#it isn't ACTUALLY about the children#generally speaking it's about an assorted smorgasbord of christian fundamentalism:#in the first place a lot of Americans are Calvinists to varying degrees and truly believe that whether they will be good or bad#is predetermined and set in stone. they believe they are christian and therefore good.#they believe gays are not and therefore are bad#and this means that anything that *feels* bad to them is bad and anything that doesn't *isn't* even if it doesn't logically check out#this isn't like... necessarily a conscious thought pattern but it's definitely an impactful one#but also: the thing is... when you get to the kid marriage stuff there's a hell of a lot of mormonism you're up against#(other denominations too but especially mormonism)#and the thing is. largely speaking you have two options: you either join the religious order or you get married. those are the only two Goo#options for your life#and note that the marriage *should* end with a child - explicitly i - raised catholic - was taught that the options for a life calling are#religious order OR 'marriage with the intent to procreate'#... i may have asked if marriage by two trans people who did intend to have kids was then sinful / not allowed and caused some fun drama#by the nun and Youth Director TM answering us - who both were relatively progressive.#anyways - it's really... not an expectation that marriage is about a loving relationship per se as much as a duty to God#it's not expected that the kid is going to be having *sex* at those ages. it's about 'setting them up for the future' and letting them#'slowly ease into their duties as a wife' and such shit#the expectation is that it's not about harming the child. it's that it's *helping* and *saving* the child#and yes that's uhhh fucking Bullshit but you gotta work with some knowledge of their beliefs to actually counter them#to them this *is not the same thing*

-FAQ-
Hello! I've gained a whole bunch of followers lately and I've been getting a lot of questions about commissions, what my setup is, what brushes I use, etc, so I thought I'd make a post about it to answer everyone's questions at once !
Putting them under the cut <3
Commissions:
Commission prices are listed in my pinned post. You can send me a private message about your commission idea and we can get to talking :) It is helpful to have enough references handy (character, outfit, descriptions etc)
I am generally a fast drawer but I also have a job and a physical disability so there might be moments I can't work on your commission. But that is never longer than a few days at most.
Payment is upfront, the full amount and via paypal only. I know this might seem a bit scary but unfortunately there are a lot of people who end up not paying for commissions and I want to avoid that.
During the process I will send you frequent updates and will ask for input, to see if it is going in the direction you want. You can ask for changes during the sketching progress but once I've started on line-art and coloring, no big changes will happen. (You can for example ask for a different color for a shirt etc, but not for a different prop or pose or expression)
When it is completed, I will send the drawing to you via email. The drawing will remain mine and it is not to be sold or profited of by the person who commissioned me. If the commission is for something commercial/for selling, that needs to be discussed. I prefer to do drawings only for personal use!
For more questions, my dms/asks are open :)
How long have I been doing digital art:
I've been drawing digitally for about 5 years now i think? But before that I've been drawing and painting traditionally literally since the moment I could pick up a pencil.
Set-up:
It's just me and my ipad and apple pencil laying on my bed. I wouldn't even know where to begin for those whole multi-monitor/screen setups ;-; I draw only with Procreate
Brushes:
I tend to play with different brushes from time to time to get different textures, but generally i use the same few for most of my drawings/styles. My favorite one is the Peppermint Brush, for sketching. I use it in every drawing i make! I always sketch with it, and often do the line-art with it as well! And it makes for a nice textured brush for rendering as well! (i used it for a lot of rendering of the armor in this drawing)
The (procreate) brushes i use a lot are
for medieval style: inking - Ink Bleed (for line-art) artistic - Quoll (for coloring)
for general style: calligraphy - Chalk (coloring/rendering) sketching - Peppermint (line-art/sketching)
for realism: calligraphy - Shale Brush (full rendering) Also using the shale brush for smudging and erasing when drawing realistic
for lineart: smooth pencil from this pack by Heygiudi
How/why do you choose a base color:
I tend to look at a few different things when deciding on a base color/color palette.
the overall color of the reference pic
the color i associate with who or what i am drawing
the feeling/vibe i want to give off with that drawing
color has a BIG impact on the vibe of a drawing, so it is something i keep in mind when im drawing.
Using a color as a base to start, helps a lot with my drawing process. It helps me pick out other colors so they match better. It helps me get light/dark values right. And the chalk brush i use, has gaps between the strokes, so the base color will always come through a little. Having the same color come through in the entire drawing, helps pull all the colors together if that makes sense? I always start with a solid base color when i am painting traditionally as well!
Advice:
PRACTICE!!! just keep drawing and practice. I know this is such generic advice but truly practice is The Way. Learn from other artists but don't compare yourself to them. Everyone's artistic journey is different and there's no "good" or "bad". And most importantly make sure that you have fun when you're making stuff :3
I also learn a lot by studying art I admire and love. Figuring out what it is I like about it. (for example, the line thickness or the shapes or texture etc), and try to incorporate that in my own style in a way that is not directly copying or stealing.

Process
This isn’t anything groundbreaking, I know this art process is fairly common. But since a few of you asked, here you go! My iPad situation is still a bit embarrassing so can't do a time-lapse atm but here’s a little GIF that will hopefully give you a glimpse into the process.
I'm entirely self-taught, so don't come for me. :') I struggle a lot with emotive faces and stiff poses, so I'm well aware that I have a long way to go. But I also feel that over the past 3 years, I've made a lot of progress. For anyone on the same journey as me, please remember to keep pushing and keep making art that makes you happy. <3

I usually start with quick shapes just to get a feel for the pose. I always look at references and then tweak them. If I'm really lost on the angles or don't understand what's happening, I sometimes use the 3D models in Clip Studio to get a sense of the shapes, but at the moment, I do all my work in Procreate.
Once the shapes are down, I usually open Pinterest next to my canvas, where I have a BG3 board filled with pictures of all the companions. Sometimes, I just drop images into my canvas on the side to get a feel for the angles and general placement.
If I have a strong sense of the piece, I do relatively clean line art first and then add colour. However, if I get stuck, like in this case, I just start putting down colours. I usually use the same colour palette for the boys, which isn’t a habit I’d recommend, as it can be limiting and lead to muddy colours depending on the lighting, but I enjoy the consistency. I tweak it sometimes to make it work.

I use the "lasso tool" to colour, then add blush to key areas like the eyes/cheeks, nose, ears, neck, and joints. I also add some light blue tones to areas where the skin is thinner, such as under the eyes, earlobes, and hands, and often a little yellow near the forehead.

Then I clean up the line art. I use the sketch brush from the ArtbyLourish set for this and pay careful attention to differentiating line weight to create more dynamic line art.
I use the "lasso tool" again for shadows (I like crisp shadows, and this helps me get those clean, hard lines), usually choosing bluish tones. Then I set the layer to either "Hard Light" or "Linear Light" and lower the opacity until I get the right effect. I won’t lie, I do shadows and highlights based on vibes and in a way that helps me sculpt the intended shapes. I'm trying to do better. :')

I usually finish with a "Multiply" or "Colour Dodge" layer on low opacity and adjust the colours to fit the setting. Then I add details and some highlights on an "Add" layer.

As a final touch, I usually apply "Chromatic Aberration" and "Noise" at around 3% each.

Other notes
As you go, make sure to keep flipping the canvas horizontally to check for wonky faces. I also usually add a simple black/grey "Colour" layer on top to check for values. I did it once for this piece and forgot about it straight after, so I'm not loving the value shift between the pillows and Gale.

Normally I'm looking for a bit of a higher definition, like in this piece.
I think that's all. Once again, I'm no professional and still have a long way to go, but since you guys asked, here’s the process. <3

Friendship and Intimacy
A slight update to my personal headcanon regarding Cybertronian habits and relationships, at least the physical stuff.
━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━━━━━━━
Even before the war, friendships have always had unspoken rules amongst Cybertronians. There are differences depending on city state, function, and caste. But as a general rule, Cybertronians follow the same sets of guidelines when it comes to close connections.
Unlike organics, Cybertronians do not biologically procreate. Yes, they are capable of cold forging and even creating new life from their own spark if they try hard enough. If they truly feel like fighting against the natural order, a Cybertronian can use technology to go through a similar process to create new life. However, as this is not a natural act and considering there is no biological function that allows for reproduction, there is no instinctual need to have close connections. Cybertronians will travel in groups instinctually if certain criteria are met, and they do have pack bonding abilities, to a limited extent. However, there is absolutely no immediate desire to touch one another, not even in the slightest. Touch is a dangerous thing. For a species that is all but functionally immortal, one of the only things that can effectively kill them is another of their kind.
Their coding recognizes this, and thus Cybertronians simply do not touch often. It is not even a high caste or an Iaconian exclusive mindset. All Cybertronians are not fond of being touched unless it is specifically agreed to by both parties. Touching is dangerous, especially with outliers and various frame types having unique abilities that can make touch even more dangerous on any given day. Generally speaking, the only places a mech is allowed to touch if absolutely required are the shoulders. This is due to the fact that the shoulders are one of the most armored locations on the body, and thus touching there can allow both parties to accomplish whatever must be done without invading the other's space more than required.
This makes friendship and interesting subject.
Touch, due to its rarity, has a great deal of symbolism behind it. Co-workers and acquaintances only touch the shoulders and strangers try not to touch at all. Cybertronians, even once they consider each other friends, can still remain at a distance physically for extended periods of time. But eventually, a sign of trust will come into play through touch.
The closer two mechs are, the more touching is allowed. It always starts small, usually with the servos. It is completely normal for two individuals, regardless of weather their relationship is platonic or not, to hold hands. For them it is a show of trust. By limiting themselves to one arm each and allowing the tactile sensors on their digits to touch, they are expressing trust in the other and their belief that their counterpart will do them no harm.
Regardless of relationship type, individuals move from servos to other heavily armored parts of the other's frame when it comes to touch. It is completely normal for close friends to sit close enough to touch shoulders and legs. Rubbing each other's backs is widely accepted as another form of showing trust. Running digits along arm guards and messing with external kibble is all perfectly normal behavior. These things show the closeness of a pair, and usually the type of touches are unique to every single duo. Romantic partners may begin to get a tad more touchy during this phase, but platonic and familial relationships can do the same depending on the situation.
Usually companionships do not progress past this point of general body touching. Even familial relationships can remain in this limbo for vorns upon vorns if neither party feels comfortable making a move. This is largely because the next step is one that most cannot back out of. Protoform is the most sensitive and easily damaged part of a mech. In order to really show absolute trust, a pair must allow each other to have access to said protoform. This is when things can begin looking strange to other races.
Once a pair have moved to this phase of absolute trust, it isn't at all weird to see them behave in ways that would otherwise appear VERY scandalous to species that reproduce organically. Before the war, Megatron regularly stuck his digits into the gaps in Soundwave's hip plating to touch the protoform there. It wasn't romantic at all, merely a way of assuring that they trusted each other. Jazz was very comfortable sticking his servos into the gaps around Orion's vents to prove his loyalty. Ratchet wasn't all that much better and after so many vorns at war, it is totally normal for him and Optimus to be found in a strange cuddle pile with their limbs entangled and digits in places human would see as very much NOT appropriate.
Touching is a sign of trust, and by the Allspark humans simply do not get it. They read everything WRONG when they catch bots interacting in similar ways. Optimus wrapping his arms around Bumblebee and resting his helm on Bee's shoulder is familial. Ratchet randomly sticking his digits into Optimus's hips is just a fact of life. Arcee periodically sticking her little claws into Bulkhead's various kibble is just their way of playing. Wheeljack and Bulkhead are extra open about being touchy. More than once June has ushered the children away when they get a bit too much for the adult humans in the room to be comfortable.
Touching is a way to bond. Nothing more, nothing less. Humans look and see things they shouldn't. Cybertronians witness a pair who are close enough to allow one another to come near their vital systems.

Hello my dears!!! Welcome to @badlydrawn-cookies !! Where I, your local teenage artist draws cookies, rather badly for the hell of it!!
I'll reveal my main at some point, but for now you guys can just call me 'Soda'. Moots, if you know me, no you dont. <3
Main thing you need to know about this account is that it is ask-based!!
You just have to do the following!:
1- invade my ask-box with a question,
2- ask a cookie or two some things,
3- wait for me to draw their answer!!
If I don't get asks for awhile, i'll just start drawing incorrect quotes or anything I find funny on Pinterest until I get asks.
``+ --
particular inspirations go to the following lovelies:
@badlydrawnronpa [DR art-askblog]
@deceit-and-knowledge [CRK rp blog]
[apologies for the tags btw!!]
general FAQ/rules under cut!!
[rbs are super appreciated to get the word around!! <3]
{ Rules are short and the usual }
{ dont make me add to them, please? }
>> No nsfw/suggestive asks. i wont answer nor draw those asks
>> Dont rush me!! I have an outside life!! [exemption, you're allowed to ask about the status of your ask. But, you have to be off anon so I can respond privately.]
>> That being said, sometimes asks may take longer than usual, but I try to get them out in a timely manner :]
``+ --
{ Now a general FAQ [May be added to!!] }
Askable cookies?
>> Short answer: all of them!
>> Long answer: I am currently replaying CRK, so asks with more recent cookies or cookies that you learn about further on in the game may take longer for me to answer. Back in 2022 when I first played CRK I got about halfway through world 14 before I stopped playing. if it helps, Dark Cacao server had just been released around then. I guess generally, cookies released up until that point will be more familiar to me than say, cookies like Shadow Milk or Golden Cheese. Currently I'm in world 8, beast yeast 1, and dark world 1.
Can I ask shippy stuff?
>> yeah go for it, i try my best
Can I roleplay as [—]?
>> OF COURSE!!! I encourage it wholly. simple anon sign offs? full on rp blog? YES!!! I LOVE IT ALL!!! in all seriousness i love the rp community so much PLEASE bother me. :]
What program/brush do you use?
>> This one, and procreate!
What ships do you like?
>> I dont actually have any I like atm lmao, i may get some as i replay the game though!
well if theres no ships you like, what characters?
>> Oh theres a lot. Heres a chart regarding my faves as of the Feb 12th update.
ill update this as I progress through the game!!!

question! im considering doing dividers as gifts for my friends and I was wondering if you had any tips? is it a better idea to hand draw the designs to avoid any potential copyright issues or is using free to distribute clip resources okay?
I know how to draw and do edits just fine I’m just not sure what other graphic artists do in this regard
Hi anon! Okay, so this is going to be a little long winded and maybe stuff you might know about the process, but I hope it’ll be helpful as a guide for others too maybe? Tips under the cut otherwise everyone’s gonna have to scroll through it.
So, for everyone needing some help, I present:
The Official™️ Dividers & Graphics Guide
->For tips on how to use dividers on your posts click here
1. Personally, I LOVE Canva because it has a library of pre-uploaded elements and it’s super easy to use. Like if I search stars hundreds of individual elements come up as results.
(I know some people also use Visme, which I don’t have any real experience with, but it’s an alternative with good reviews.)
As long as you are not claiming each individual element is your own creation, you’re in the clear. People making graphics like these almost always use premade elements and combine or edit them into a unique piece. That being said, if you claim that an individual element is your own, you’ll probably be called out. I don’t know how familiar you are with the community so forgive me if I sound condescending: the graphics/digital art community is a wild place when it comes to plagiarism but it’s good that artists look out for each other.
Anyway. Creators that upload designs/elements/templates to Canva are aware that they can be changed/edited. If you have Canva pro (which I recommend because you can do transparent PNGs so easily) some elements are only available via pro subscription and you’re compensating the creator for the use of the element and however you change it.
Basically, the divider/graphic is yours, but the individual elements are theirs. You don’t need to give credit because it’s like using stamps or stickers. For example: You wouldn’t typically use Lisa frank stickers on a coloring page and then credit Lisa frank in the corner of the paper. ⚠️I strongly urge you to stay away from AI art. Generators steal from artists to create what the user searches for!⚠️
For tips about finding more images click here
2. Hand drawing can get a little tricky. You have to be careful with your dimensions and even file size sometimes. In my personal experience, if you’re new to this type of graphic art you should wait until you’re comfortable with it. It can get confusing. I’ve had MANY graphics come out a blurry, frustrating mess and I’m by no means the best divider maker/graphic artist on the planet.
An extra example: my Cute Coquette set vs my Dark Siren set. Technically, there’s nothing wrong with the coquette ones, but they look fuzzy/blurry. I made them when I was first starting out and I struggled with how to line up the right dimensions. I keep them up because as much as I don’t like how blurry they are, it shows my progress and I’m rather fond of them. It’s not even close to what I do now, like the Dark Sirens, which even zoomed out have a lot of detail but are clear and defined. 🤷🏻♀️

3. To avoid said blurring, I recommend using these canvas sizes:
Banners and headers: 1055px x 500px, I’ve also done 3000px x 500px.
Standard Size Dividers: 3000px x 240px
Thicker/Thinner Dividers: Basically you can go as thin or thick as you want as long as that first number is 3000px. I added a screenshot of ones I’ve used recently that might help.
I think if you’re using software like procreate, the canvas sizes are the same but you’ll have to go through some extra steps if you want to get it into canva or whatever graphic editing software you’re using.

4. Lastly and most importantly, just have fun. Play around with the settings and figure out what works best for you!! You of course can DM me with more questions, but I hope this at least helped a little bit.
🩵🌸
*Edited 2 hours after posting to add personal examples, and this little guide can now be found in my navigation post!*

Aloy Animation - Behind the Scenes!
Hi all! I wanted to give a break down of how I completed my recent animation :)
The program I used was Procreate. (Most, if not all, of this was made entirely on my iPad at work when there was downtime lol).
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Here is the recent animation. This tiny clip doesn't look like much. Originally, this was just going to be a quick and simple exercise to help me understand each step of the animation process better... But uh, well, nearly four months later, here we are!
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Roughs -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
I started with really rough shapes. Like really rough shapes. I only wanted to make sure the general timing of each action worked. Once I felt good about the timing, I added what I called "hair worms". Four represent each one of her braids, and one for her giant mass of hair. Aloy typically has at least 6 braids in the front and two in the back, but I ended up only doing 4 total as part of simplifying her design.
Now what is the flashing bar of numbers you may ask? Those are my fancy-shmancy timing charts! They only appear at the beginning key frame of each big movement. I mainly use them as a way to keep notes about what I wanted to add and what to look out for as I progressed. But for the actual timing, I simply acted out the movements, and then guessed how many frames it was (I know, not a very good way to time things ahah. Really, you're supposed to use a stopwatch to time yourself acting it out and then calculate the frames that way, but alas, I just counted out the frames on my fingers lol).
I was animating in twos at 24 fps the entire time, so I aimed for a low amount of frames to start with, and then added more as needed until the motion felt right.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
2. Basic Shapes -=-=-=-=-=-
Next, I drew out the basic shapes for her hair, the shoulder guard thingy, and the shell collar. Hair worms begone! They were now upgraded to "hair tubes".
Her face I went a little more detailed with in this pass, mostly because I was so focused on making sure her face kept its proportions while her head turned. You'll see more tweaking and slight changes in the next passover.
This is also where I timed the glance!
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
3. Tie Down =-=-=-=-=-=-=-
This pass was my super detailed pass. Everything got an upgrade - especially her hair. I also used this pass as a way to tweak the animation so everything stayed consistent while it moved. I did a lot of work on her face and on the shell collar, as they ended up being my biggest contenders for inconsistencies. This pass ended up being my longest part of the animation, taking about nearly 50 hours to do this part alone. But it was all worth it, as it made the clean up stage super streamlined.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
4. Clean Up & Shadow Lines -
Thanks to my previous work in the tie down, this part of the animation was super easy to complete. All I needed to do was trace my keys, then trace my in-betweens. I made some final tweaks to the hair, and most importantly, I added the outlines for where my shadows will be!
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
5. Shading Pt. 1 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-
For this pass, I simply filled in my shadows to see how they looked. This really helped solidify my composition. I was worried as I was working on this that the hair would be too busy and that it would distract from her face, which is where I wanted the focus to be. But adding shadows really helped brighten her face, and made her hair blend in a little more to the background.
Filling in my shadows also allowed me to make sure that my lines were all connected for the next part - coloring!
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
6. Flats =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Paint bucket was my best friend during this pass. The only difficult part was simply deciding where the colors would go. Since her design is much more simplified compared to the actual Quen Marine armor, I made a few artistic liberties in making sure the colors don't blend in. For example, the shell collar in game has a very similar off white color to the shoulder pads, however, what sets them apart is the purple negative space underneath all the shells where the netting tying them all together is. I didn't include that negative space, so to compensate, I added a purple line at the base of the collar around her neck, and made the shells yellow instead of white.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
7. Shading Pt. 2 =-=-=-=-=-=-
This shading is the last thing I did to the actual animation. The shadows, the flat colors, and the highlights were all done on separate layers. I ended up duplicating the line art three times for each frame, and then filled in the shadows and highlights using the shadow lines from before. This made adding the shadows so much easier, since I had already animated the shadows beforehand.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
8. Background and Color Correction
Finally! It is done! The last thing I had to do was add a background and be done! Right? ...right? Well, the background took an additional 20 hours to do. I ended up painting it based off of a screen cap from the Burning Shores. I'm not used to drawing backgrounds at all, and struggled to simplify the distant objects. In the end, half of it ended up being covered by Aloy anyways, but that's okay! I learned a lot about backgrounds and I'm excited to try this style again!
I followed a great tutorial by Olof Storm on Youtube. I highly recommend you check him out! Here's the tutorial if you're interested in trying it yourself! x
Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed my break down into how I made this piece. I'm very proud of it, and I hope to make more animations with Aloy in the future!
Thank you for reading my very long post!

There was a moment, a moment when it seemed that the forces of old and evil were losing their control. A moment where the high water mark for corruption was altitudinous above our head, as the waters of oppression, and disengagement drained into the abysmal depths of history.
Alas, that is not the case, forces with such might do not concede, so on the story goes. With renewed belligerence, and smoldering retribution that stranglehold of old chokes progress. The argues drudge for a fairer society, the contention for equality elongated indefinitely.
The blow was a hit to the core, a noxious pain will linger. This is not the end, it’s hardly the beginning. Time to pick oneself off the ground, brush the dust off, and prepare for another round.
This divarication set before us will determine where we our future lies. Regressed to a time where the pigmentation of one’s skin rather than the content of one’s character was the defining feature set upon a person. Where just as the days of Roman crusades to convert the pagans commences. A dominant culture, an overture of subjugation, masters of men, lording their capital and superiority above the masses.
An oligarchy rule, where the fortunes of the rich will personify the very reasonings behind policy. Those whose generational wealth prohibits entrepreneurship in any form. A monopolistic grab for any competition. Ensnaring news outlets, and social media platforms in a preemptive strike against information, squashing dissent.
Simultaneously Shredding any regulations, protections, or provisions that would shield their labor force. A systemic dismantling of all knowledgeable oversight, any expert who would prove invaluable to their study, delegitimized and tossed to the curb. While celebrations of the destruction of the bureaucratic state echo through the air, the general population is reduced to serfs. Unable to afford home insurance, housing becomes scarce. Leaving the giant conglomerates to attain the very basics of humanity in their never ending pursuit of profit.
An atmosphere of contempt brews below the surface. While the air we breathe fills with the toxicity of industry. Poisoning the environment and the soul. While profiteers cherish their freedom, subduing all others.
While the top tier holds the riches they so deeply coveted, it doesn’t stop there.
The workforce so degraded, shows signs of decline. This lessening of servitude threatens the production of capital, endangering their dependency on the subsistence they crave. They have already stolen the sovereignty of a woman’s body, now it belongs the heads of state. The human race must procreate.
A depression of will, a solace not given. The heart can’t go on with such dregs. The soul can’t survive such despair.
For the elites this holds no relevance. Their conquest for finance must go forth. Their agenda of corruption is the itinerary. The itinerary is the plan.
This is one fate that may befall the American experiment. One that has already begun. There are other routes on this voyage. Though the ship has left the port.
Yet, not all hope should be lost.
For the will of the people has not been squashed.
Together a resistance can occur.
Lessening the hardships the masses may endure.
Through the fight in our heart and resolve of our grit.
We push aside the shackles that bind.
A capitulation against those who govern as kleptocratic.
With our backs to the wall our courage we find.
The ongoing battle for freedom prevails.
The momentum rising like wind in the sails.
Those who lied and divided, used and deceived.
Their voices shakey with empty promises no longer received.
From the ashes of obscurity our triumph shall ring.
The forces we topple no longer supreme. For in our unity lies our strength and our reasonings.
The change of the guard exposing the treasons.
Those who have committed seditious betrayal.
Will no longer remain with a seat at the table.
for this is our nation, and this is our land. Against the forces of old and evil we take our stand.
Fighting as one we stop their invasion.
A righteous defiance of our indignations. When once we can say proudly the efforts we gave.
To reclaim the land of the free and the home of the brave.

I did the three comfort characters that was trending on twitter, I don’t have a 3rd character so uhhhhhhh we just going only to these two, old man also decided to be a goofy goober and crash my program and restart my iPad, while he was deleted in the procreate program (which I was also almost done), I accidentally deleted the layer of old man when I was cleaning my layers and if you didn’t know once your deleted something and you get out of that canvas you can’t get your deleted stuff back. So I did the second best thing, I got some inspiration from one of the older post for luck on exams from @nevvn, old man really like testing my patience as if I’m not busy and have a schedule I need to keep up, especially if I want to start posting semi often. 😵💫
But Obey me in general is my comfort characters and I wouldn’t trade them for the world 🥰
For those I need to make Chibi’s for if you see this I will get to it but I need to balance with posting and progressing so it might be a little while but I hope to be able to finish all by the end of January. So don’t worry I didn’t forget about you if you see other people with their Chibi’s 😘

I’m a phd student and I want to clarify something that has been said time over time: misogyny is not criticizing women. because feminism is NOT being a girl’s girl or trusting every woman you met instantly.
Feminism is an ideology/movement/survival that stands against patriarchy. It’s not against men or it is for women only; feminism is against patriarchal structures which men also suffers from but I don’t think people are ready for that conversation.
You don’t support women just because they are women, this is such an incredible bullshit. So ghislaine maxwell is also a poor victim of misogyny because she’s a woman? Lou taylor? please take a look at human trafficking victims: ‘the lure’ is almost always a woman because, yes you guess it, women tend to trust other women. This is a textbook of what I’m saying, you are not with women or against men, you are fighting with patriarchy which can recruit both women and men and all genders. Yes, men are the main benefactor of this ideology: but not men of color, not LGBT-Q men, not men of certain religions etc. This is very important, if you reduce this to ‘uwuuu gurl poweeerr’ or ‘men suckk’ (well they do suck, but you know what I mean) you’ll come here on a tumblr page threatening people instead of doing your school work and sound like an oxymoron.
In feminism, misogyny is pushing women in the back ground and belittle them because they are a woman. Kelly is not being criticized for being a woman, she is criticized for being a groomer. Did you know that patriarchy helps groomers? Older man with younger woman is a love story worth telling but when we flip the scenario; an older woman grooms a younger man, the patriarchy still helps the groomer even if it’s a woman? Think about it, gender streotypes are made by patriarchy so if a younger man is with an older woman it is a win for him, nobody will perceive him as a victim because women are the hypersexualized gender therefore their wrong doings are sugarcoated. women are here for sex/procreation in service of men according to patriarchy. so even when they give it in inappropriate ways, it’s not considered as misconduct.
It’s not a coincidence at all that people can’t comprehend she is a groomer, because patriarchy conditioned us to believe that women can’t be groomers because their attention is and always must be wanted.
And don’t get me started on her material conditions: she is also coming from generational wealth. Woman who has generational wealth, fair skinned, blue eyed and also dating a millionare. Her father is a tax fraud, supporting right wing politicians. And she is a victim of misogyny? She was born into the top of the pyramid of patriarchy. Instead of using her voice for good things she is still craving the patriarchal approval and actively chasing it and still using little children to attack Flower here.
If somebody actually read it and made it to the end, I reccomend reading neo-liberal feminist works to understand what kind of feminism is being sold to us in mainstream media right now.
Hi, PhD-anon! (May I call you PhD-anon?)
Your take about feminism is right. I've said this before offline, but it's NOT "believe all women"; it's "believe women", and people like Kelly are why.
And I'll be clear: I'm an intersectional feminist. I recognize that wealth, whiteness, beauty, and proximity to power often shield people from criticism. When someone like Kelly Piquet uses motherhood and girlboss language to sanitize her image while aligning with structural power, that’s not feminist. That’s branding.
Critiquing that isn’t misogyny. It’s a necessary part of feminist media literacy. We don’t get liberation by putting rich women on pedestals and calling it progress. We get liberation by interrogating the systems that allow certain women to flourish at the expense of others
