does anyone have like an anti aesthetic. like something you look at and can recognize as a complete fashion/interior design/artistic movement and understand it but it makes you shudder seeing it. i am not talking like “its morally bad” “its poorly structured” like just sheerly devoid of joy for you actually invites a repulse response.

Sometimes I fall into despair seeing the evil and destruction in the world then I see the ones who are fighting the darkness, fighting for freedom and justice, they believe in it, they don't stop fighting no matter how hard it is or what it costs them. These people give me hope and inspire me to never give up. No matter how dark it is, light is there. Good will win. Freedom is the natural state of human beings and those who try to crawl over the world creating it in their image and subjugate people with their seductive vision that preaches freedom but only enslaves-- will crumble when faced with an army of light

And that light is in everyone who resists. Everyone who does what they can. Who is kind. And doesn't give in to despair and start doing awful cruel things surrendering to those demagogues who amass dumb masses of followers and speak lies as truth, pretending to be infallibly godlike and messianic but are really the mouthpiece of hell.

Hope exists as long as people harbor the light in their hearts, don't give in to suspicion and division but take one small step, whatever they can do. Each light will create a bright blaze that will burn out the dark, even if it takes time. Even if you don't see much change or chance, it's there. Hard to see large change when you're so small and sometimes the tide of history is massive. But don't give up. Doing what's right, keeping hope alive, fighting no matter what for justice and freedom, always matters and will always make a difference even if you can't yet see the tiny pinpoints of light beside you, slowly amassing in the massive tide of dark.

come out as a trans man to your school? youre a weird girl that is also trans. you are hated. you have 0 of the privelege of being treated as not a woman and all the horribleness of bigotry. you are whatever gender that will harm you most.

all of these things can be directed at the same person. you are not more priveleged than other trans people cuz some losers out there have the most basic radfem ass understanding of how oppression works. you culd pass perfectly but the moment they know you are trans you will experience the harmful intersectionality between misogyny and transphobia. to deny that ever happened and that there are complex experiences out there is to deny trans people of their oppression. no matter your intention it is horrible and self harming to the community.
