so i've been on anxiety meds for almost a week now, and i think im placebo effecting myself into feeling better? i think i'm doing better, and my grandparents said i seem better, and people are generally acting nicer to me but that might just be cause it's the start of school and they forgot how pathetic and whiny i am. im really worried it won't last though. it's been five days of the tightness in my chest going away sporadically and i really don't want it to come back. i'm worried everything's going to come crashing back like it did on thursday morning when i had the quiz i forgot to study for and i broke down crying in front of everyone and cried three more times that day. but hopefully it wont?

#idk it's just #the weird knot in my chest hasn't really gone away since sixth grade #like unless im on vacation #and suddenly it's not? there? constantly?#and if it does come back i don't know what ill do #probably what ive been doing since sixth grade but i hated the years since sixth grade #literally the only things that got me through it was my writing and the clouds #but im doing better this week!#AND SOME OF MY FRIENDS INVITED ME TO GO TRICK OR TREATING WITH THEM!!!!#it's a big group with a lot of people im not sure like me and my friend that i don't like is there but #im really happy i haven't gone trick or treating in so long #i stopped getting excited for holidays after the pandemic and it really scared me #and now im excited again!!!#vent post #?#kinda

It's beautiful, it's gentle, it's funny, they're canonically t4t and gay... And it's about time traveling vampires solving supernatural mysteries!

I've spent thousands of hours writing and drawing it, and it's really good! I'm not biased!

It's on hiatus right now and coming back in 2 months, so it's the perfect time to get caught up

the thing is. juno & nureyev's relationship has been such a major guiding thread throughout the podcast and the major drive of season 5, and the fandom has built itself so much (as fandoms often do) around shipping the two of them.

and yet nureyev doesn't show up at all in the last episode! or, he does, but it's only implied (for all we know it could be like. alessandra strong)(i know it's not but it would be really funny) and we don't hear his voice.

and it's so important to me that despite the room that their romance has taken in the plot and in our hearts, his absence reinforces that the point of juno steel's story wasn't a lady getting his man, it was about learning to grow as person for himself and for his friends (and not just his love interest), and it was about finding his footing in life and being at peace with himself and his place in the world. and he did! his growth and relative serenity is so apparent and just. a balm to the soul

and the fact that his man is back is just a nice add-on, not a necessity for his happiness
