the whole point of act two is that vi doesn’t have to take care of jinx anymore and now they can have a more balanced relationship where they both look out for each other. vi herself acknowledged her sister doesn’t need her protection anymore and it’s clear she sees jinx as an equal now (asking about her opinion on vander, suggesting they both stay so they both can help). so the whole point of “jinx had to die so vi could be free” is not only objectively wrong to say (because jinx was never a burden to vi, vi wanted to make sure her sister is okay), but also, not true to where the characters, and their relationship, was left off at the end of act two.

You know what anime trend I strongly dislike? Anison titles increasingly being released on streaming only and with no word on a physical release whatsoever.

Streaming as an option is totally fine, love that for us. But not having anything physical lined up at all for music is bullshit, sorry. Just like it's bullshit when shows or movies don't get physical releases either.

It just breaks my heart that some of these fun tunes could become difficult to access in 10 or 20 years, or only preserved in a lower quality format.

i watch voyager w both of my parents bc it's my mom's favorite but like, my father and i fucking HATE neelix. it's on SIGHT. that episode where his lungs got stolen was so fucking funny, they should do it again. "sir his lungs are gone" and they should keep it that way. i think we once went through an entire episode making jokes about him literally eating shit (i can't remember why). we simultaneously groan when he comes on screen. if i had a spark of hope left in my heart i would pray to the star trek gods (threshold lizard babies) to strike him down but sadly being forced to see neelix every episode has snuffed out all positive emotions i had left. if i got to go to 1 (one) fictional universe it would be star trek voyager so i can kick him in the balls.
