The Sacred Decree
Tumblr media
[Image ID: Art in the style of a medieval painting. The Lynx, a giant deity that takes the form of a grey lynx with purple runes and tail that resembles flames, is gifting four bowing cats a scroll. Art by Dinnerliver on TH. End ID]
The Sacred Decree, the rules that the colonies obey and follow, originally began as five holy laws gifted to them by the gods. Following these laws would guarantee entry into the afterlife, while breaking them was considered an insult to the gods themselves. These original laws became known as the Divine Laws.
However, as the colonies grew, these laws weren't enough. New laws were slowly added over time, settling on five additions by the end of the Era of Regression. These additions would be named the Colony Laws, in order to separate the original laws from the additions.
Divine Laws
Law of Festivals - Anyone can participate in a festival, and will be treated as equals regardless of origin. Those wishing to join the colonies during this time are to be allowed to do so without fear of rejection or ridicule.
Law of Loyalty - A cat will not become the pet of a tall one, or take an outsider as a spouse.
Law of the Divine - Wars will not be waged on the behalf of the gods, neither in their honor nor to protect their word.
Law of Trials – All cats are entitled to participate in the Seasonal Trials, and are not to be stopped or obstructed by any cat or colony, except those also challenging the trial.
Law of Bygones – A cat who finds themself bound by circumstance or fate is permitted to break the Sacred Decree, if no other option is available.
Colony Laws
Law of Succession – A colony's commander must be dead before the Seasonal Trials can be attempted. An advisor may take over the position if the commander is unwell, missing, or unable to lead, but will not inherit the title.
Law of the Fair Fight – A colony will never use sabotage, subterfuge, or manipulation to fight their battles.
Law of Life – All things are entitled to life beyond mere survival. One will not kill needlessly, cat or otherwise, or intentionally harm one's quality of life.
Law of Punishment – A commander will not resort to using cruel or violent punishments, or justify a harsher punishment using religious or personal reasons.
Law of Innocence – A colony is not responsible if a cat harmed or killed on their territory, unless proof is given within three days that the cat was purposefully or intentionally attacked.

I've been reading so much about rabies and cats and there are so few cat owners who keep their cats up to date on rabies vaccinations and buds please keep your kitty's jabs up-to-date and please please please keep your cats inside and please treat any cat with an unknown vaccination history as a wild animal and don't try to touch it or pet it or catch it.
The most recent survivor of the Milwaukee protocol is an 8 year old girl who contacted rabies through scratches from feral cats that lived in a colony at her school.
Don't touch strange cats even if they're friendly, and teach your kids not to touch strange cats either. (For that matter teach your kids not to touch strange dogs either, but decades of stray eradication and mandatory vaccines means that the US is one of the few places in the world where cats are more likely to be rabid than dogs)
Also did you know that there's one case of transplant-acquired rabies recorded in the US? The recipient got a kidney from a donor who died in an accident and nobody was aware the donor had rabies. The recipient died of rabies, which is a bit of an extreme flavor of graft failure if you ask me. Terrifying!
Anyway. If you, too, want to have nightmares about rabies you can search my website (www.ms-demeanor.com) for "keep your fucking cat indoors" and scroll to the section on rabies and read some nightmare fuel (like the case report on the family that moved across 3 states with their 13 barn cats, unaware that one was incubating rabies).
Did you know that in 1994, 665 people in New Hampshire had to be given post exposure prophylaxis for rabies because of one infected kitten that had contact with a racoon before being brought to a pet store?
The only way animals are tested for rabies is to examine their brain tissue. The animal is killed in order to do this. If your pet is exposed to rabies they stand a much, much, much better chance of being quarantined instead of being euthanized for testing if you have kept their vaccinations current.
Please keep your pets' vaccinations up to date, and please keep your cat indoors. There's a risk of exposure even for indoor cats, so make sure they've got their shots.

Gonna take a wild guess that Biscuit and Ember don't know their kid is in the Clan?
they do not...yet :3 i have elaborated on this in the replies of one post but i'll talk about it here as well.
before being owned by her current twolegs, biscuit was owned by a different family of twolegs that was a bit negligent. she was allowed in and out of the house as she pleased, and she met ember, who was a stray. they had a litter of four kits. biscuit's twolegs adopted out three of the kits, but by 12 weeks, the last kit (jasmineflutter) had not been adopted and the twolegs were impatient, so they took the kit out to the moors and left it there, where she was found by glitterclan. after the kits were gone, biscuit's twolegs did not want to deal with another litter but also did not want to pay to spay their cat, so they gave her away to another family. biscuit's new/current twolegs keep her strictly indoors, but she has managed to escape 2-3 times.
biscuit and ember are both under the impression that all of their kits were adopted - they are completely unaware that the twolegs abandoned their last kit to die, and so they are unaware that she is in the clans. if they HAD known, i imagine biscuit would have been significantly more hesitant about helping the colony (even though it was like...unwillingly) and putting the clan in harm's way.

✬Yandere! J x Fem! Worker drone reader✬
My 65 request! This is short but I hope it's good!
▄︻デ══━一💥 ⭒ 💥 ⭒ 💥 ⭒ 💥 ⭒ 💥
Well, where should we start? Let's see… you were a normal worker drone girl, just living your life in the colony carefree with your family, carefree as much as possible of course… you tried not to think about the disappearance of your classmates trying to keep yourself healthy, even if mental health for drones was complex to say the least.
You never considered yourself a popular girl, just chatting with your classmates or playing some new game your father got for you in your spare time, but apparently you attracted more attention than you could imagine from your peers… and we can say that a certain newly obsessed female Murder drone was less than pleased with this information as she angrily watched your colleagues who admired you from afar. We can say that she started to form a plan in her sick robotic mind to have you all to herself.
○●○{ A few days later }○●○
In this current moment you were now inside your room, dressed in your favorite (color) loose pajamas and lying face down on your bed while gently swinging your legs making your homework while humming your favorite song… until you hear a feminine scream coming from the living room…
You quickly put on your slippers in a hurry, running out of your room, heading to the living room with worry on your face.
"Mom? Mom, are you okay?-" You called out to your mother with a worried tone, feeling your eyes widen and your body lock in place at the sight in front of you…
Your father had his head decapitated and his body spread across the floor, completely torn to pieces… while your mother was being pressed to the ground and being consumed furiously by a Murder drone.
You felt the female Murder drone's deep gaze on you, which brought you back to your senses, wanting to run away as quickly as possible and get help.
"(Y/n)- Get away from here quickly! Y-You… were the best daughter anyone could have had…" Your mother spoke in a hurried, desperate tone, coughing oil like crazy, trying to hold the Murder drone for you to have a chance to escape, which you did, starting to run towards the exit door of your house, hearing a loud noise followed by maniacal laughter behind you.
"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐮𝐧, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐞, 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞~" J said with a sweet tone low to herself and giggling.
When you were almost at the exit, you felt something grab your pajama top, which made you slip and start falling back with a scream, soon being picked up bridal style by someone, or rather… her.
"How good it feels to finally have you close to me… for me, just for me~ You're so adorable (Y/n)~" The female Murder drone spoke in a sweet, sickly, happy tone, stroking your hair (color) and cheek as you stood frozen in pure terror.
"Who are you… and what do you want from me?" You asked with a tearful tone feeling the situation finally getting to you completely… you had lost your father, your mother and now you were in the arms of a Murder drone who was probably just playing with you before killing you with no kind of remorse where no one could see or help you.
"Awwn… you're so cute when you're scared (Y/n), a truly curious and adorable girl…" She said with a fawning tone, giving you a big smile and bringing her face close to the side of your face.
"My name is J… and all I want… is you just for me (Y/n)~" J spoke in a low tone, almost purring like a contented cat, placing a lingering kiss on your forehead.
"Sweet dreams (Y/n)~" J said before making you black out in her arms and giggle, giving you a big toothy smile.
I hope you like vampires…

Dustclaw and Vinestripe
Parents of Larkwing and Aspenbreeze
Dustclaw - Oak Colony Keeper
Parents: Maplebark and Ashbranch
Sibling: Frondsway
Dustclaw is Frondsway’s brother and mate to Vinestripe. Dustclaw is gruff, but good-natured; he tends to be more confrontational and on edge around those outside of Oak Colony. Patrolling around the borders spikes Dustclaw’s anxiety, and he’d rather not risk running into who he considers strangers.
Dustclaw was pretty harsh on Frondsway when Tornleg had his accident, and agreed with Brakenfoot that justice should be served. His sister shouldn’t be able to neglect those in her colony who were depending on her because she didn’t plan ahead. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Frondsway and Dustclaw don’t share friendly banter and a bird together as often as they used to.
Dustclaw knows a lot about fibers such as grasses, vines and saplings; he is a master den builder and often organizes repairs after storms and damage, teaching weaving techniques. He take a lot of pride in his work and that extends to his kittens: Larkwing and Aspenbreeze. He looks forward to raising a second litter with the love of his life, Vinestripe, if she is up for it
Vinestripe - Oak Colony Envoy
Parents: Stormclaw and Stagcharge
Currently training Frost
Vinestripe is the daughter of Stormclaw and Stagcharge, but has more of a sense of humor than her serious natured parents. She has a bit of a devil-may-care attitude and loves a good brawl, but her tongue is often sharper than her claws. She loves to fling insults, but is also quick to forgive. She settled down with Dustclaw because she views him as the most practical tom of her prospective mates, though she’ll never forget the relationship she had with a rogue tom at a younger age…Ah, youth.
As a mother, Vinestripe wasn’t too controlling of Aspen and Lark’s behavior, allowing them to wander and make mistakes. She is truly more of a solitary cat, but Colony life is what she knows and prefers.
Vinestripe is quite a bit more radical in her political ideals, maybe a trait that was carried over from her late mother, and tends to roll her eyes at Captain Elmtail whenever he makes lukewarm decisions about things. What the Colony needs, in her opinion, is a bold and decisive leader, willing to throw their weight around! She mostly keeps it to herself though, and is more content to busy herself with hunting.

Estelle de Laussienne
Tumblr media
B A S I C S
Name Estelle de Laussienne (born Fauconnier)
Nicknames None in regular use; her adoptive brother uses "Essie" to get under her skin.
Age 24 (ARR) - 30 (Dawntrail)
Nameday 17th Sun of the 5th Astral Moon
Race Half Sea Wolf Roegadyn / Half Midlander Hyur
Gender Cis female
Orientation Bisexual
Profession Chirurgeon. She's a woman of many roles and skills, but only one professional license, though in another life -- say, in a non-WOL AU -- she might have wound up the Scions' "diplomatic advisor" (crisis manager and fixer).
P H Y S I C A L A S P E C T S
Hair Black; as of the end of Shadowbringers, salt-and-pepper with a shock of white in her bangs. Coarse curls are courtesy of her roegadyn heritage. She has never cut her hair ("long hair is a woman's glory" and all -- have you seen Halone's? You cannot convince me there's nothing in Halonic scripture about it) and mostly wears it pinned in complex updos.
Eyes A dark violet, inherited from her father.
Skin A light, rainy-day grey inherited largely from her mother, with her father's cool pink undertones.
Tattoos/scars Being a healer -- and a terrible patient -- Estelle has few scars of her own, as she takes care of her own injuries and prides herself in the sort of detailwork in her physicking that reduces or prevents scarring. Which means the ones she does have are from the wounds she was too incapacitated to heal herself, gnarly clusters of keloids and ragged hypertrophic slashes from effective but graceless emergency healing: sternum to hip from the fight with Elidibus at Ghimlyt; side to side across her belly from the fight with Zenos at the end of creation; and her oldest, a mottled burn scar around her left shoulder and collarbone from the dragon attack that took her parents. She keeps them glamoured when able and looks at them as little as possible.
F A M I L Y
Parents
Hermine Fauconnier Her roegadyn mother; the seneschal and right hand woman of House Laussienne, Hermine was in charge of its books, employees, and trade logistics, and her service in return won her family as stable, secure, and comfortable a lifestyle as a lowborn could wish for outside of the Church. Deceased.
Renaut Fauconnier Her hyuran father; a chirurgeon formerly of the Hospitaliers who transitioned into rural medicine as a traveling physician once he tired of the battlefield. Deceased.
Perette de Laussienne Her adoptive elezen mother; the head of House Laussienne and a shark in the waters of Ishgard's nobility who raised Estelle like she was her own daughter. For better or worse, Perette taught her much of what she knows. Deceased.
Siblings
Verain de Laussienne Estelle's adoptive brother. While they had a good relationship in their youth, a wedge formed not long into their teenage years when it became clear his mother's favor rested with a lowborn halfbreed. Still alive and currently head of House Laussienne, having been unceremoniously handed the reins when Estelle suddenly left Ishgard -- a fact that has done nothing to repair the rift between them.
Grandparents
None still living.
In-laws and Other
Over time, Estelle develops no shortage of family-like relations: Edmont, who regards her as a daughter; Alphinaud and Alisaie and Ryne, the little siblings she never had; the Scions, living together like a colony of stray cats. (And, though this is quite far in the future and something she would not want to think too much about even then, Lyna would technically be her daughter-in-law. The absolute dawning horror the first time Lyna calls her "grandmother" as a jest.)
Pets
Animals tend to like Estelle more than Estelle likes the concept of caring for an animal long-term, especially with how much she travels. The absolute closest she comes to owning a pet is spoiling the Rising Stones' resident ratcatchers.
S K I L L S
Abilities
Arcanima The cornerstone of her combat abilities and field "healing" (more like Preventative Medicine), which branches out into Allagan summoning as she spends the years between Heavensward and Dawntrail refining equations based on primal waveforms.
Medicine This includes everything in the typical Eorzean chirurgeon's skillset -- everything from general practice to surgery to autopsy is on the table (hah) -- as well as an alchemical background to synthesize and administer basic pharmacological treatments.
"Politics" The catch-all umbrella for her social skillset, Estelle relishes the networking, information gathering, and strategic maneuvering required to throw one's weight around in powerful circles.
Hobbies
Languages Though the Echo translates for her, it's still a rare and special skill regarded with suspicion in most corners of the world. Estelle enjoys picking up what she can of the local language in her travels to put people more at ease, especially as she wanders out to more rural locations.
Sketching/watercolors A skill picked up in a previous relationship, though her fondness for it far outlived her fondness for her lover. She finds it relaxing to draw and paint the sights in her travels, and she keeps extensive journals.
Cooking A domestic skill cultivated to a high level in the interest of being a "good wife" in her youth, turned into something of an obsession for learning new foods and techniques as she travels the world. Estelle delights in any occasion she has access to a stove and the opportunity to set a lively table.
Piano All young ladies of good breeding learn the arts during their education, and Estelle is no exception, though the piano is the only instrument that stuck. She enjoys playing when she finds the time, and a piano to actually play on.
"New skills" Estelle takes any opportunity to throw herself into doing something badly for the simple joy of trying something new. Most attempts to train for more physical skills like archery and swordplay fall under this category: things she'll likely never take seriously, but she enjoys using these moments to build new connections and relationships with her teachers.
T R A I T S
Most Positive Trait: Her friendliness. Estelle finds it natural to move into the lives of others and share their spaces, joys, grief, and problems; if she doesn't find success, it certainly isn't for a cold demeanor and lack of goodwill.
Most Negative Trait: Oh we've got a whole answer for this one. There is only so much friendliness can accomplish when Estelle does not accept the vulnerability of real connection.
L I K E S
Colors: Contrary to her severely black and mostly monochrome wardrobe, Estelle most enjoys dramatic, rich jewel tones and soft pastels.
Smells: The complex layers of an expensive, well-made perfume; fresh-cut jonquils; the chaos of food stalls in an open-air market; aspen woods in a crisp, fresh snow
Textures: Soft furs; the inner lining of a favorite pair of gloves; the smooth gloss of lacquered wood; the weighted feedback of ivory piano keys.
Drinks: A glass of well-aged dry red wine; coffee in the Ul'dahn style, unfiltered and highly sweetened, flavored with cardamom; Ishgardian tea, strong black leaves dressed with bergamot, steeped directly in hot milk and sweetened with buckwheat honey.
O T H E R D E T A I L S
Smokes: Yes, infrequently, and never socially; in times of high stress, she will smoke exactly one (1) cigarette when alone and thinking very deeply on something she wish she did not have to think deeply about, or when she needs to aggressively work over a problem in her mind. She's picky about her tobacco and prefers a Hannish clove-spiced blend. (Her case holds 20 cigarettes and the only time she's had to refill it because she's simply run out is during Endwalker.)
Drinks: Yes! All the time. I imagine Ishgard has a very robust drinking culture woven into most social rituals (alcohol features more prominently in Heavensward than nearly any other expansion except perhaps Endwalker) and Estelle is a very social creature. Of course there's an aperitif! And of course there is a glass or two of wine with dinner. And of course there must be a digestif. And of course there will be a nightcap as the evening winds down. She likely consumes more alcohol in a year than the rest of the Scions combined, and that includes that era where Thancred was getting trashed regularly to avoid coping with the Lahabrea situation. That said, she very rarely drinks alone, and almost never drinks with the intention to get inebriated.
Drugs: Nothing hard, but if someone hands her a bhang thandai during a festival in Radz-at-Han she's not going to turn it down.
Mount Issuance: For the same reasons Estelle doesn't keep a pet, she also doesn't keep a mount; she prefers to take carriages and ferries and airships, ride along with caravans, or rent chocobos. When she needs a pair of wings or to go somewhere she would feel guilty bringing a live animal, she relies on the sliver of his aether that Midgardsormr left with her to summon his form much the same way she might summon an egi.
Been Arrested: Estelle has spent most of her life being a law-abiding citizen. The amount of laws she's broken in the line of duty has spiked rather dramatically since joining the Scions, of course, as it turns out that subversive operations and overthrowing heads of state is illegal in those states, but good luck arresting her.

Hiya! I started listening to the Lost Terminal because you mentioned it on here. I'm a few seasons in and really loving it. My friend is looking for some new narrative pods and I know you listen to a bunch. Got any suggestions? They can be finished or ongoing.
Oh do I! Have a couple, in alphabetical order:
Absolutely No Adventures - An outright pratchettesque fantasy parody about a (very) Chosen One who has studied the art of baking instead heeding the call to adventure and refuses to go on any quests.
Care and Feeding of Werewolves - A (in-universe) podcast addressing current events and issues in the (American) paranormal community, hosted by a witch and medical practitioner. Has very good plot and worldbuilding.
Folxlore - Queer horror podcast set in Glasgow. Excellent show. "This apartment complex is very haunted, extremely cursed, and it sometimes randomly shifts to an eldritch nightmare realm. Everyone here's queer though, including the building itself. 4 stars out of 5."
Gabriela & The Inn Between - A recent botany undergrad takes a job as Innkeeper at an inn with very strange and unusual guests. Cozy and low-stakes.
Gastronaut - Set a couple hundred years from now, a food journalist travels from Earth, then Mars, then a distant space colony. He's pathetic but in a good way. Excellent food descriptions, nice anti-capitalistic and anti-colonialist themes. Higher stakes and fewer steaks than expected.
Ghost Wax - I've always disagreed with the idea that necromancers are always evil. This show agrees - it's a horror podcast about an ancient necromancer solving supernatural murders by interviewing the victims. Very thrilling. Many feels.
Icarus Rising - Queer airship pirates! Stow-aways! Rebellion! Chases and Thrills! High-stakes drama and action among the clouds! An adorable ship cat!
Kalila Stormfire's Economical Magick Services - Very cool story about witches, fairies, werewolves, and more, a story about what makes a community, about modern-day working class neighborhoods, psychology, love, and of course magic.
Parkdale Haunt - This one I haven't listened to yet, but I've heard very good things about it. It's a horror show about a haunted house, set in Toronto, made with love for that city. Disregard this suggestion if you don't like Toronto, I've never been.
SCP: Find Us Alive - A podcast set in the SCP universe, about a site getting sucked into some sort of pocket dimension that keeps resetting in a sort of time loop. Very interesting cast of characters. Requires minimal knowledge about how the SCP Foundation works.
Starfall - Fantasy audio drama about the adventures of a theatre troupe that uses magical items and illusions in their work, and about a young warrior with mysterious powers who joins them.
Tell No Tales - Horror story about a company that specialises in removing ghosts from haunted places. The protagonist quickly becomes concerned about the ethics of that and tries to prove that they need to start treating spirits with the humanity they deserve.
The Antique Shop - Urban Fantasy drama about a student getting a job at the kind of antiques shop that you only find when you need to. Lots of cursed items. An excellent cat. Queerplatonic relationships.
The Mistholme Museum of Mystery, Morbidity, and Mortality - An AI audio tour guide shows you various interesting exhibits and learns how to be a person. There's lots of feelings here.
The Strange Case of Starship Iris - Sci-Fi story set in the aftermath of a war between Earth and extraterrestrials. It's about outer space, survival, espionage, resistance, identity, friendship, found family, romance, and secrets. The intro song is excellent.
The Tower - A young woman climbs an ancient, unfathomably tall tower from a forgotten age. It stretches up into the sky, through the smog and the clouds. Very vibes.
The White Vault - Travel Is Not Advised. Very scary story about what's been hiding below the ice and the stone. What's been slumbering for ages. What's now beginning to wake anew.
I hope this selection helps! I have more, but I felt it would be better to keep the list short-ish.

While I know the arc isn’t going to be rewritten until after it’s done, do you think the researchers would be PISSED that this random vet sterilized one of their cats? I imagine they’re pretty protective of their cats, and this could throw a huge wrench into their studies
They would be. It's not like the Clan cats are an little-known thing in BB, either! It's pretty common knowledge that the colonies around Sanctuary Lake are of scientific interest.
There's even little signs up and such warning hikers not to feed or harass them. Public interest in the project is currently a bit low in this particular time period (it waxes and wanes) but the horse farm is well aware of them. They run a horseback riding business here; there's almost certainly special signs warning riders of what to do if a Clan cat spooks your mount, and they do bring curious visitors to the lake.
Frostpaw will probably not get sterilized in BB, though. Why the hell would a horse vet do surgery and TNR right there in the field, only taking a single day? Especially if Clan cats are known and studied?
What's probably going to happen instead is that Smoky runs for a human, who dials the nearby sanctuary, and the people who visit Frostpaw in BB are the researchers. IF I even end up keeping it at all.

Let's talk about Forgotten Elegy!
Hey since the mods all blocked me preventing any sort of communication I'd like to expose what has been going on in there! Apparently because it makes people uncomfortable to say what's going on.
So the current plot in TimberClan involves an outsider group in which previous members caused problems for the group. Now no player was warned about what this group was going to face going in. Instead we were faced with erin hunter level anti-outsider xenophobic rhetoric.
Now as some of you may know... I am not white! In fact I am of arabic descent, which, as some of you know are not exactly a favorite when it comes to immigrants!
Some topics mentioned include:
A cat taking on the name of the colony's god to piss them off this was treated as funny!
Likening their burial practices to like prey or trash.
Treating the entire group as murderers when only one cat maybe did something.
Pining the blame on the group for a disappearance they had no paw in.
Calling the colony brutes and relating their distrust to their culture of fighting assuming they love fighting and shit because of it.
Keeping the colony prisoner for an extended period of time
Implying the colony should be grateful for receiving "food" and "shelter" while being kept prisoner and if they weren't they'd be ungrateful.
Having a literal concept of "the good ones" with the colony having the main captor the leader Scoutstar have a colony cat, Velvet, as her watcher to make sure the colony weren't stepping out of line. Allegories being made towards a dog on a leash.
Making cats who believe the treatment is wrong feel stupid and afraid of siding with them!
Oh this entire plot is suppose to end with the colony joining Timberclan despite the foul treatment!
Constant jokes about how the worst offenders did nothing wrong especially Scoutstar who is, as pointed out by her player, taking her paranoia out on the group but its "for the good of her clan" so i guess that makes it ok right?
Now call me not white but all of this sounds pretty bad!
Mmy way of engaging such things, as someone who has experienced similar things, would be to call it what it is that should be alright shouldn't it? After all as they told me this is an Adult Rp where we can talk about Adult Themes after all!
WRONG!
Apparently calling these cat's behaviors and the plot for what it is has made people "uncomfortable" and that members did not enjoy how I was commenting on their characters because of how people turned it to real resentment in the past.
I will have you know FE that trying to block me from speaking and being a hawk over whatever I say has made me more resentful that a character's actions!
I am an adult and I find it quite insulting you apparently think I cannot separate those things and have childishly blocked me rather than talk like adults as I didn't even want to repeal the decision. However because members were uncomfortable that was apparently enough, yet the real world rhetoric that was being used, despite asking for it to be tagged never was! In fact I had to get blasted with comments and sentiments like those above without any sort of content warning. Basically getting my cat experiencing bigotry like mine without so much as a warning despite "the obvious" needing to be tagged.
Instead of anyone, staff or complaining members alike, putting on their big boy pants and dealing with the implications of the plot they were in they rather cry and whine about the consequences of their actions and the fact it didn't make their little kitty look all that good. Such is natural for whites and the people who ride their dicks.
Now I can personally say there are plenty of members who agree with me that this so if you think blocking and kicking me is getting you out of this you are sorely mistaken! In fact they are quite pissed off with how staff handled things in kicking me for what they also agree were appreciating the writing from a standpoint of someone who is a real life victim of what this plot showcases. Isn't that funny! I know that my friend who I mentioned to you is still there!
In fact a lot of the comments the cats in this rp have used have been almost word for word shit I've heard and shit my family and people like me have heard! Yet I'm the bad guy for making a comment about it.
All of this is to say I am in fact hurt and know that you all don't like me because I didn't roll over and take being put through a xenophobic plot without comment and called cats xenophobic for actions I saw!
So I am returning the energy you have given me! I think you are all unprofessional and have been for most of the controversies your group has been involved in. You run away from what the issue is and refuse communication then turn around in blaming the lack of communication for the reason why these things happen.
I'm sorry me engaging with a plot you crafted as a person effected by the very concepts you are putting into it offended you same with all the other little members who whined about it!
Actually that was sarcasm I am not fucking sorry. You all need to grow the fuck up and perhaps can this plot because you clearly cannot handle something as delicate as this without being xenophobic and racist. Just call me a fucking terrorist or towelhead or a camel jockey next time it'll be much more direct!

11 years ago, my father’s health was deteriorating, and it brought him into a depression. I tried what I could to get his spirits back up, but I could see he was still missing something. I started to think what I else I could do and then I decided to get him his own pet. I searched the Saint Paul Humane Society website and saw they had a program at the time for seniors 55+ where they could get a companion animal (cat) 4years+ free. I wasn’t sure how he would feel about another cat, being the one we currently had only wanted to be around me, but I figured let’s give it a chance.
August 2013, we started searching for the right cat for him and each one we went into a room with he didn’t like. At this point his legs were hurting because of the disease he had, and we now made our way into the cat colony room. We both sat down, and this BIG black cat appears out of nowhere! Because she was so big, her tail looked a little short. She went straight to my father and rubbed all over his arm, his side, and just drowned him with so much love. My father said, “I want this one! She touches my heart!” And that’s the day my father’s world had changed. Her name was originally Mila. We wanted to be respectful to whoever the previous owner was and keep the name on behalf of them.
Mila took AMAZING care of my father. If he took one step up the stairs, she would take one ahead of him and watch him to be safe. If he fell, she would run to him and lay with him/rub him until he felt safe and comfortable and would never leave his side for the remainder of the day. She knew he wasn’t well, and she made sure to bring him as much joy as could.
When he passed 6 years ago, I continued to care for Mila, and she is now taking great care of me as she did for him. We take care of each other. And she is also an amazing travel buddy! Mila is very loved by many people, and every state I take her she instantly makes everyone falls in love. She is the most loving, caring, playful, funniest girl, and I wouldn’t trade her for anything in this world.
Thank you all at the humane society for bringing happiness back into my father’s life. Because of the senior companion program at the time, you all truly saved him.

Can we see mechis full base please?
You most certainly can! Mechi put so much effort into it (or rather, Wire and Megabyte the constructoids have) that it would be a shame not to show it off.
Behold, the colony tour of Sparks!
Tumblr media
Here's a quick overview of the whole base as it stands currently. Nice and simple with room for one colonist and nobody else.
(putting the rest under here so it's not clogging up people's dash)
Tumblr media
Here's the Void Monolith, well-lit and surrounded by chain link fences... Just in case.
Tumblr media
We have a cemetery outside the main wall, which came from a prefab that some traders sold us. Mechi added the flowers and grass, just as a show of respect for the dead. He doesn't hate dead people as much as everyone else, I assume, since they don't try to talk to him.
Tumblr media
There's our containment facility with platforms for Ms Clarabelle the sightstealer, Susskind the ghoul, and Kitschy Flamingo the fingerspike. They are very well-behaved, and Mechi seems to enjoy studying them.
To the right is the hospital, with one bed, because only one person will ever need to use it (that's Mechi). Anyone else can make do with the "guest room," which we'll get to in a bit.
At the back of the hospital is the shelter where Cowgirl and Georgia, our tw wildebeest, sleep at night.
Tumblr media
On the other side of the containment facility is our lovely picnic area and fountain, next to the psychic ritual spot in a suitably spooky countryside hedge-box.
Tumblr media
Then we have a killbox, which has only recently been constructed. It seems to work well enough so far, but it hasn't really seen much action. I suppose we'll find out in time, though.
Tumblr media
We have a power grid of solar panels and wind turbines overlooking our farm, with lots of nice plants to keep us sustained. The farm is tended by Astro, Mechi's agrihand mech.
Tumblr media
Mechi likes sitting on the verandah to drink coffee sometimes, but it's nothing too fancy. We have a ground-penetrating scanner set up, but not much time to actually scan for stuff. I think we've found a fossil deposit since we set it up, but that's all.
Tumblr media
The kitchen/dining in Sparks is pretty barebones. The most important part is the coffee machine, everything else is just sort of there.
Tumblr media
Mechi has a lovely bedroom and a private bathroom, with a comfy cat tree for Charlotte and plenty of things to keep him entertained when he's not researching.
Tumblr media
There's a crowded storeroom beside Mechi's bedroom, and outside is the stonecutting bench and the spot where Butter the boomalope sleeps alongside Belle and Mariana the sheep.
Tumblr media
Mechi's research lab/robotics workshop/library is full of things to look at and workbenches to play with. It's his most-frequented room in the colony, I think.
Tumblr media
The "guest room" we mentioned earlier, which has stuff needed for people to survive comfortably as long as they get frequent deliveries of nutrient paste. The top half of the room will eventually be home to our ripscanners and the like once we've defeated enough mech bosses to get to that stage.
Tumblr media
And finally, the "temple", which is just a hastily cobbled room to make Mechi stop griping that he didn't have one. He's got a neural supercharger (which he uses every day) and a biosculptor pod (which he never uses) and that seems to have appeased him for now.
And there you have it! The colony at Sparks, home to one snappy mechanitor, a lot of robots, and the few pets that are allowed to stay without being shipped off to Arwell the first chance we get 😁

♡ Misc. Kokuyo Gang Headcanons ✧
Ken is averse to showers for multiple reasons, but one of them is because his body has adjusted to a very... sparse shower routine. Anything heavily scented irritates his nose, and many soaps will even give him rashes. He would rather die than to admit that he can only stand using unscented baby soap.
He sleeps better with something pressed against him, like a wall to his back, while hugging a pillow, or with his face in the crevice of the couch. It might stem from him growing up sleeping in crowded accommodations… he would love one of those human-sized dog beds.
୨୧ ⁺˳₊ ♡ ₊˳⁺ ୨୧
Chikusa built his own signature weapons, and his hands are rather dexterous. Just think about all the yo-yo tricks he is capable of. He doesn’t enjoy using computers at all, the digital screen and blue light actually hurts his eyes, but his typing speed would be impressive if he had to use a keyboard. He learned to touch type fairly quickly and has good hand-eye coordination.
He enjoys working with rubik’s cubes and has gotten really good at it. He has red-green colourblindness, and he really didn’t like asking people for the difference between “this shade and that shade” when it came to the cheap cubes with stickers and paint that would chip and peel off. One day, he will get himself a nice colorblind-friendly cube, but he hates splurging so he just copes for now.
୨୧ ⁺˳₊ ♡ ₊˳⁺ ୨୧
M.M. is quite extroverted and loves to pick people’s brains. She especially loves dressing up in her best outfits to go to jazz bars and gather all sorts of intel (and coins) from the patrons there. It has a mix of her favourite things: dancing, a classy atmosphere, rich people that she can chat up to charm their wallets open, and she occasionally actually plays her clarinet for people.
She doesn’t like the way that Fran speaks French and finds his regional accent atrocious. To that, he speaks French just to annoy her, even when she replies in Italian or Japanese as a way to say “that’s enough, please use literally any other language that we both know please.”
୨୧ ⁺˳₊ ♡ ₊˳⁺ ୨୧
Chrome has befriended the local stray cat colony and a murder of crows. They all leave little gifts on the doorstep for her, ranging from small coins to dead mice. She gets more than a little flustered at the latter but understands that it’s just in their nature.
She is not an adventurous eater and has her safe foods that she will turn to just to curb her hunger. She used to run purely on being in survival mode but has since learned to keep snacks in her bag just in case. The few things that she does make for herself, she has gotten really good at.
୨୧ ⁺˳₊ ♡ ₊˳⁺ ୨୧
Fran tends to zone out, and usually no one can tell because his face looks exactly the same as when he’s completely present and aware of the current moment. The only way you can tell is that sometimes, at the end of a mission debrief, his eyebrows raise slightly, and that’s him realizing that he absolutely wasn’t listening and has no idea what they’re doing now.
When it comes to social deduction games, he’s the best one out of the gang. Mukuro used to be the reigning champion of Kokuyo gang board game nights, until Fran came along.
୨୧ ⁺˳₊ ♡ ₊˳⁺ ୨୧
Mukuro enjoys browsing vintage and oddity stores and collecting unique jewelry. He has pieces that incorporate teeth, bones, furs, and hides of various animals.
He’s fairly adventurous in almost every aspect of the human experience and is open to trying any food at least once (granted it doesn't.. kill him, but he’d probably find a way to come back from it anyway), trying different crafts, and consuming different media. However, he’s learned that he doesn’t particularly enjoy most craft-related hobbies, and rarely has the free time to read or watch anything to the end unless it’s fairly short (but he would tear through a good book if given some leisure time).
୨୧ ⁺˳₊ ♡ ₊˳⁺ ୨୧
Chrome, Fran, and Mukuro all run cold. They’re the ones always turning the heat up in their shared spaces, while Ken, Chikusa, and M.M. complain about it being too hot and to mind the energy bill.

Good and Bad news
Howdy guys! I don't talk to y'all one on one too much, but I want to keep you in the loop.
To start off, I am so super thankful for the support this comic has received!! This is my first real venture into comic making, I am so incredibly grateful to have such a positive reception.
Onto the bad news, y'all may have noticed my posting speed has slowed. I'm very busy in college (graduating with my AA this summer!) between a radio show, being president of the creative writing club, and keeping up with homework, which means I don't have a ton of time to work on personal projects, and when I do, I try to chase what gives me the most dopamine. This isn't super relevant, however, just a peek into my creative process.
The Bad News
Surfclan is going to go onto hiatus after the next two posts so I can work on the overarching story I want to portray. These two posts will finish Arc 1 of Surfclan, which I am happy with and have ironed out, but the draft I have for the rest of the series is kind of cobbled together and not satisfying, certainly not work I'm proud of. If I'm going to dedicate so much time to something, I want it to be work that I am proud of. As a writing student too, it's not right to put so little effort into the writing.
I went into Surfclan without a plan. I wanted a coastal set of clans to worldbuild with, but I had no idea for plot. I let the generator decide what that plot would be, which is fine! But I wasn't given much besides a clan that grew at a decently steady rate and got into occasional shenanigans. I need to put those pieces together properly and figure out how to best portray the themes I want in a respectful manner (right now, there's a heavy theme of colonialism that I just don't think I'm quite ready to handle tactfully.)
If you aren't using Surfclan, can I?
Absolutely! Please feel free to use Surfclan as background characters or cats to fill out gatherings. I am always happy to organize plots in DMs and weave it into Surfclan's eventual finalized script. As long as my babies are kept relatively in character, I have no issues with making it canon. If they aren't, no worries! It just won't be canon to Surfclan. Think of it like an AU!
When will you be back?
I'm not sure, but I'm always happy to answer DMs if you want to chit chat, and I will make a post announcing Surfclan's return when I am ready.
What's the good news then?
Surfclan was always designed to be a "for fun" project that I didn't put too much effort into, hence the scattered upload schedule and art styles, but now that I've experimented a bit, I'm ready to get into comic making more seriously. While I brainstorm ideas for Surfclan I will be shifting focus towards a new Clangen blog loosely based on marshmallow_cat3's Dark Forest challenge and @gray-thistleclan .
Cottonmouth Clan has distinct win and lose conditions and a solidified plot with mysteries to discover. I'm currently working on world building and character design that will be posted to my main blog, @antlermoss. I will have a post up there when I have my details organized with the rules for the challenge, of which you are welcome to use in your own games and comics!
I will reblog Cottonmouth's starter post here when I am ready.
I appreciate your patience and understanding, and hope you guys enjoy the new project (:

((Since this entire timeline worth of sketches were made on the promise of having an interactive bishop verse accessible for my own Lamb OC, I am gonna make a quick rundown/summary on how they had progressed from a shy, timid sheep to the more calm, outspoken character they are in their own written universe. So expect this post to be filled with either a lot of lore or even fun facts since I did spend nearly two weeks on this right art before I heard the sins of the flesh was being released this month. Anyway, now that we got that outta the way, here we go.
Mortal (20-24yrs old) - Shorter than their later counters, born with small horns that barely did much to defend themselves, and being somewhere on the autism spectrum... Being somewhat a powerfully strong giant amongst their own flock, they were a sheep who had been sheltered most of their mortal life who lived somewhat high in the flock hierarchy due to their parents wanting them to have a life that lived far from the bishops influence. Due to their sheltered nature, they were not familiar with the gods that much or at the very least their family had pledged their lives into a long gone deity who had died out despite their casual worship. Religion wasn't as forced upon their village since their own people had closed themselves off from the rest of the island shortly after their world had been cut off from the universe over a godly banishment many generations ago. Their people did not agree with the way the lesser gods that would take to caring for their very people, and it was what had brought them to be the last to the slaughter when the Bishops had commanded for their sacrifice.
Most of their life still remains vague to the Lamb after their final death bringing them to their current Godhood, as their memories had been burned as did their village had been to be erased by the followers of the Old Faith.
Vessel (10-20 into the cult lifestyle after the final death) - Now reborn into a new body that had been literally remade to better accustom the influence of the red crown and Nariender's desires of having a cult built in his name, the Lamb bore a more confidant persona void of the previous shyness they once were. Already growing their horns in with a nice touch of the crown's power flowing through them, their mind has been quick to adapt to the new cult lifestyle their old God of Death had placed them in, the red crown had given them knowledge to use weapons and how to use them. Their hair had grown long alongside them, showing the tests of time displaying their self neglect as they devoted their person to growing a flock of followers for their own gain. With their adapt personality and having the charm of a golden heart that led them being more soft on their followers than their master would've liked... they had married their first follower, a lil gray haired deer named Jewel, who they up most favored until the time of the deer's own death. Jewel did not get to see until later, upon their late revival, that the Lamb had gone and defeated the God of Death shortly after their passing.
If the Cat couldn't have brought them back even as the Lamb had gone and defeated the bishops as Nariender had asked, they backstabbed him for not keeping up the end of his own deal. They still spared the cat regardless of the pain, and even married him to spite his protests, but it did not mean they didn't put TTOW through hell though. To work out his debt, the Lamb had made the cat their priest to forever makeup for the pain they endured for their old master.
God (200-300 into their cult) - Now nurturing a colony made of 300 hundreds and 100 spouses made of devoted followers who they favored heavily to live forever by their side, they've grown into a multi-titled deity who had managed to bring back the old bishops from the depths of purgatory whilst stealing their crowns from them as payback for putting them to their final death. They are the last god in the lands, and in order to keep it that way they stole the bishops crowns to have for themselves to wield, and it is only fair they gave the crowns a new home where they properly belonged. Wanting to keep the bishops from power, while alongside marrying them as a quiet side reminding them to stay on their good side, they had decided to keep them as followers to keep an eye on them as they are; free of freedom as punishment for their wrong doings.
The Lamb by this time is more formally known as the Emperor now that the lands have come to recognize them as the last physical god of all the lands. They have long since had a hivemind made ever since the crowns had started to talk to them amongst their own thoughts, and they have extended this right to their spouses too. Even as their physical bodies might've died for a period of time, their spirit still lives on in the hivemind until the lamb can get a ritual ready for their bodies to be reborn anew again. When you are a spouse of the lamb, you are forever apart of them, and it's only right their favorites get the perks of being something special for their own enjoyment. :3
Multi Grand Divinity (2,000-???, it has been many centuries since they usurp their benefactor) - Long since their colony had stretched itself out far and wide until the lands had transformed into their people's home, the Lamb has grown into a newer form as their cult did alongside them. They can't do crusades as much as they used too, for with their tall size they have more people to do missionaries and the work for them, as their body has grown to be more accustomed to growing more power in their wake. The crowns had gotten bored with their last arrangement with their little host, for trading some simple devotion the Lamb had asked for only peace in their body alongside keeping their own individuality, and they had decided to forever take root in their home. When crowns get bored and decided to reproduce asexually, more lil crowns started to spread more deeper into the Emperor's frame like an odd fungus; slowly taking over their body just to allow themselves more room since their last apartment arrangement. The lamb has grown a couple new arms since then, but they only ever hide them when they are not running to travel in their own free time. They've even regained some of their vision since this new crown arrangement, but it came at the cost of it looking more stranger than the crowns first found it. Regardless though, their height and power makes up for what they sometimes lack.

She could not decide which was worse: the anxiety involved with accompanying Aventurine on one of his projects, or the anxiety of inaction: of waiting here outside of the Dreamscape in Penacony's hotel lobby with no line to her fellow Stoneheart or any updates as to whether his latest gamble had paid off. All she could do was stand around the lobby and count the number of Family-sanctioned eyes that were on her and her subordinates at any one time, or sit in her hotel room and try to distract herself with some inane task or other. Suffice to say, this was not how she liked to work — and after her latest call to Jade, Topaz felt even more restless, contained within these four walls and cut off from whatever was happening — whatever had happened — in the Dreamscape.
Despite promising herself that she wouldn't look at it again, she slowly reached into the pocket of her waistcoat and pulled out the stone fragment. A part of his Cornerstone that he had told her to keep, for insurance purposes, mere minutes after shattering it before her very eyes. As she'd reported to Jade, its green hue had dulled in recent hours, the light in it all but extinguished — indication of only one outcome of his planned negotiation with Sunday. An outcome beneficial for the IPC, an outcome that Jade could work with to bring the wayward frontier colony of Penacony back under Preservation's mindful gaze... but the worst possible outcome from a more personal point of view.
As if sensing that her mind was once again about to wander to things she currently had no control over, a familiar weight jumped up and settled on her shoulder. “ Hey, Numby. ” With a small smile, she reached up to offer them a tummy stroke, but instead of affection, her Warp Trotter gently nuzzled her neck before dropping something in her lap.
Topaz picked up the note, unfolding the paper — and felt her stomach lurch as she read the hand-written words inside. “ Numby, where did you find this? ” As she stood up from the edge of her bed, Numby jumped off of her shoulder and bounded towards the hotel door. Under the door, they seemed to say.
Hoping to catch the culprit, she crossed the room and opened the door at once, stepping outside. But a glance left and right down a long, empty corridor proved that, whoever the author was, they were long gone.
A few moments passed, and she once again headed back into her room, closing the door behind her. She glanced down again at the scrap of paper, not recognising the handwriting ( but, really, whose handwriting would she recognise in a cosmos where type and text were the norm? ).
       How's the stone?
Who knew? She and Aventurine hadn't even trusted the information regarding their Cornerstones to the rest of the IPC delegation. No-one knew that Aventurine had shattered his own Cornerstone aside from herself and Jade, and the location of her own Cornerstone was an equally close-guarded secret. It had to be. Aventurine's gamble couldn't work without absolute discretion.
Topaz didn't have to ponder over potential blackmailers from within the Family ( or, for that matter, any other faction in attendance here on Penacony ) for very long. A knock on the door, followed by another a few seconds later, quickly startled her from her reverie.
She was not a woman quick to — or even particularly prone to — violence, but she did still grab her pistol before reaching for the door handle.
Her surprise at the familiar figure who greeted her manifested as a sudden, almost strangled noise in her throat, her purpley gaze going wide. Her pistol hovered a little uselessly in the air between them upon realising that there was no threat here at all.
It was him. Aventurine, leaning against her doorframe with that lazy-cat smile of his. Of course it was him. Who else could it be but him? Any relief that might have momentarily flooded her chest at the prospect of seeing him standing there, alive, was replaced almost instantly by annoyance as she reached up with her free hand and waved the note in front of him.
“ You put this note under my door? ”
But as she met his gaze again, even obscured as it was by the tint of his glasses, something... wasn't right. He didn't lean against her doorframe, he was slouched against it. An effort had been made to tidy up his hair, but knowing his usual impeccable standard it was a half-hearted attempt.
       He looked tired. Exhausted. Weary.
It prompted Topaz to open the door a little wider, allowing him to enter the room. Her voice was tentative, unsure, but certainly concerned. “ Aventurine, what happened? ”
@iniziare, deep breaths, we're doing this

Once Kelly and Panemi got together, they were inseparable. Their class would joke that they were no longer two people, but just one person temporarily in two bodies.
They did everything together they possibly could, and when they day was done they continued to talk and chat on their pads from their own houses. Kelly's parents met with Panemi's familial group and discussed their relationship. Both parties agreed that it was a good thing and that they were a fine match. Figuring that it was a typical intense teen romance, they all agreed to keep it at arms length and let them work through it on their own.
Incidentally, the parents hit it off, and got together without Kelly and Panemi on numerous occasions. Making friends is difficult as adults, and they all shared a love of art and film. They had movie nights as well as touring the art on the promenade.
Kelly was able to get her K'laxi earring put on her ear. The piercer was used to both Human and K'laxi physiology and with a few deft bends of the metal, it wrapped elegantly around Kelly's ear and hung down just enough to jingle gently when she shook her head. This kicked off a minor fad of Human kids and young adults wearing K'laxi jewelry for a while and soon it was pretty normal to see the long silver earrings on human ears as well.
One afternoon, when school had finished, Kelly ran up to Panemi. "Did you hear? Someone's cat had kittens! Let's go see them!"
"Cat? Kittens?"
"It's an animal originaly from Earth. They're not allowed on the colonies because they'll hunt the local fauna, but some starbases allow them for pest control. They hunt things like mice and rats. An office here got some recently, and one of them had a litter of kittens! baby cats! Let's go look at them."
Panemi flicked an ear but said "Okay, sure."
Kelly led them down the promenade and off a side street to an office built into the wall of the Starbase. A rough sign stating the office was home to "D&E Imports" was hung haphazardly over the door. At the door was a smaller, handwritten sign that said "check with El'ana before knocking"
After calling El'ana and verifying it was okay to come in and see the kittens, they went in. Inside was a small office with two desks, a few filing cabinets, and a box on the floor. In the box was a very tired looking all black cat and 6 small puffballs climbing around her. They ranged in color from dark grey to pure black with one in a tuxedo pattern.
"Ancestors they are so cuuuuuuute" Panemi squealed. "These are cats? They are so adorable and fluffy! Do you think they kind of look like us?"
Like many humans, Kelly was a little embarrassed when the K'laxi pointed out they had a native pet that kind of looked like them. "You think? I guess, I can see it yeah. I think you look much better though." Kelly said, blushing.
"Aww, that's so sweet." Panemi replied. She looked over at the K'laxi at the desk "What are their names?"
El'ana looked up "The mother is named Inky, but we haven't named the kittens yet. We're not sure what we're going to do with them. The mother was pregnant when she came onboard, we weren't expecting kittens. Starbase says that they can be given out to others that want them, but that they have to be "fixed" so that they can't breed anymore."
"Fixed?" Panemi asked
Starbase chimed in at this. "It's a small surgical procedure to prevent them from being able to breed. It also reduces aggression in them and helps them to live a longer life."
"Surgery?" Kelly asked. "Do we have a vet?"
"Not currently, no. But I've linked a beacon back to Earth; one has volunteered to be posted here temporarily to assist."
Panemi couldn't stand it any longer. To El'ana she asked "Can I pick one up please? Please?"
El'ana flicked her tail and chuckled. "Okay, but be gentle, they're only a couple weeks old. Their eyes just opened and they should be socialized with people anyway."
Kelly and Panemi sat down near the box, and the kittens started to crawl out towards them.
"Look at their little triangle tails!" Kelly laughed "they're so wobbly."
Slowly, the kittens made their way over to Kelly and Panemi and slowly and gently, they picked them up and petted and held them. After a few minutes they'd put them down and they'd wobble back over to their mother who was watching them warily the whole time.
"Ancestors, I want one!" Panemi announced, after they had said thank you to El'ana and left.
"My parents already said no." Kelly said sadly. "I hear there are so many requests for the kittens they're doing to hold a drawing for them."
"I'm going to enter the drawing!" Panemi announced and then thought for a second "So long as my familial group approves."
