here’s the thing. about zolu. puts myhand on your shoulder Here’s the thing. luffy? aromantic. zero interest in romance. zoro? gay. very low interest in romance. has two braincells and they’re both devoted to thinking about swords. they are not dating. it is not romantic. it’s not sexual either because luffy, much like his views on romance, could not give less of a shit about sex. maybe if they both feel up to it at the same time, but that’s rare and when it does happen it’s more of a physicality and, to a lesser extent, affection thing than anything else. occasionally it’s a “hey wouldn’t it be weird/funny/fucked up if we [insert some david cronenberg-type shit]” thing and the other one goes “haha yeah do you wanna try.” but i digress.

the thing is i very much understand the appeal of lupcretia narratively bc they are foils who betray each other and then forgive each other because the force of their grief and guilt brings them to an understanding and i also understand the appeal of blupcretia bc its a three person relationship who disagree on something major and split apart leaving one party feeling abandoned when the other two agree against her and what does that mean for the fact that the rest of their lives outside a horrible timeloop are supposed to start soon Because of that decision and disagreement like i get it narratively its interesting!! but here’s the thing: i just have an unshakeable belief that lup is straight

LKFJDSKLFKLS, i actually laughed out loud seeing the ask notif BUT ANYWAY... berube is legit gonna love him though................... even mike babcock didn't hate the guy despite deciding to psychologically torture him a bit as a rookie and even THAT wasn't enough to run him off..... i'm not gonna argue mitch doesn't have an ego, as every talented pro player does, but i do think it's incredibly funny that you (and everyone that shares those opinions) think mitch isn't one of the hardest working or maybe THE most versatile player the leafs have. accountability isn't something mitch marner lacks, as much as that's the tone deaf narrative in leafs-uncle-land.
